I stay on the island right around the corner and eat here a lot like more than I probably should but it's cheap and the food is amazing. No english speaking people but sometimes another customer is more than happy to translate for you and they do try their best to get you what you want. Only thing I found inconvenient was that I had no idea when they were open. Was just walk by and hope

I was very, very surprised about the excellent food that this small family run loncheria offers. Basics in Spanish are helpful to communicate with the lovely persons preparing your meals right in front of you. It's really popular with local people, who get the food mainly for take away. But there are a few tables where you can sit, relax and enjoy the genuine Mexican restaurant. Careful with the green sauce, that's real Mexican as well 😅😍
