An incredibly beautiful and surprising hike: after 1.5 hours uphill, we saw a simple sign for olive oil tasting. We thought we’d go up and check it out. We were amazed to find a small farm, 450 meters up in the mountains with no road access, where Natalia and Philippe invite passing visitors for oliveoil tastings, lunch or dinner (they carry all the supplies up themselves 😮). We were invited to taste locally produced products, along with a cold beer. We definitely want to come back here 💜

I stumbled upon this place while doing the GR221 and I loved it so much. Wish I had had more time to spend there but it is a fantastic farm with their own local olive oil production made with local Mallorqui olives; their own jams and hierbas. All these were absolutely unforgettable and I definitely cannot wait to be back. Natalia and Felipe are very charming and make you feel right at home. Thank you!

What a wonderful experience! Great hike up to a beautiful home on the mountainside. Then lunch served by a wonderful couple (and their dogs!) overlooking the picturesque valley. Took some olive oil to go. Would highly recommend!

Eine wunderschöne Wanderung mit liebevoller Einkehr!! Völlig unerwartet kamen wir auf unserer herrlichen Wanderung südlich von Biniaraix an der Olivenfarm Can Sivella vorbei. Wir haben eine Olivenöl-Verkostung gemacht und dabei viel über das Leben in den Bergen Mallorcas und die Olivenbäume gelernt - wirklich ein besonderes Erlebnis. Danke nochmal für die schöne Zeit! ☺️

Tijdens onze (prachtige) wandeling zagen we deze unieke plek op de kaart. We waren nieuwsgierig na de mooie reviews. Toen we aankwamen bleek dat gesloten waren. Uit nieuwsgierigheid toch even naar boven gelopen. Ze wilden voor ons wel een uitzondering maken - daar waren we natuurlijk erg blij mee. Helemaal nadat we een heerlijke proeverij kregen. Wat een fijne plek en wat een leuke en lieve gastvrouw en man. Veel succes met het verder uitbouwen van jullie olijven boomgaard!

I am so grateful that I got invited to this very special place today. The hosts living on the Finca were both so welcoming! It was a lovely coffee stop during my hike. The coffee and cake were delicious. They also make their own olive oil and schnapps. Of course it tasted so good - especially with that view! They really love what they are doing. Would come here again anytime!

An unusual experience that I didn't expect when I visited the place. I spontaneously saw a sign for olive oil tasting on the side of the GR-221 hiking trail. I ended up in the two owners' small finca in the middle of an olive grove, about a 25-minute walk away from any civilization. The visit wasn't cheap. 24 euros 1 espresso and 1 milk coffee including olive oil tasting and fresh local spring water and a shot liquor. Then another 30 euros per bottle of 500 ml olive oil. The olives are carefully harvested on site and transported all the way to the village to the mill. The olive oil is very mild, I think the price is reasonable. In any case, it is an absolutely exclusive product in a nice bottle that can really only be bought here locally if you take the somewhat strenuous journey. The residents invest a lot of effort in the visitors. Thank you very much.

The best experience we ever had during hiking. Felipe and Natalie gave us a very warm welcome. The coffee was extremely aromatic and well-balanced. Mela and Simon were such nice well-behaved dogs. The best part of this trip is to taste olive oil and herbal schnapps. The olive oil is very aromatic. The homemade cake is very delicious!. Our backpack became heavy and full of bottles of olive oil and schnapps. Then we had to turn back to Biniaraix. Recommendation: Start the hiking from Fornalutx to come to Can Sivella to buy olive oil on the way back to Sóller.

Mitten auf meiner Wanderung, durfte ich durch Zufall diesen magischen Ort finden und war überwältigt von der Gastfreundschaft, Hingabe und Ruhe, die dieser Ort (welches das zu Hause der beiden Gastgeber ist) ausstrahlt. Ich durfte allerlei sorgfältig ausgewählte Kleinigkeiten und unter anderem das sehr milde selbstgemachte Olivenöl probieren. Während dessen saß ich einfach nur da und genoss die Ruhe des Biotops und den atemberaubenden Ausblick. Danke für diese wundervolle Erfahrung und eure Herzlichkeit. Sie wird mir noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben 🙏🏻

Dieses wunderschönen Anwesen, haben die Besitzer in einen ganz besonderen Ort verwandelt, an dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Die Lage mitten in den Bergen zwischen Olivenhängen ist wirklich traumhaft schön. Es gab sehr leckeres Essen. Ausserdem kann man sogar selbst gemachtes Olivenöl kaufen. Die Beiden sind ganz ganz herzliche Menschen. Wer gerne wandert sollte unbedingt einen Abstecher dort hin machen.

Amazing experience!…from the scenic stroll up the valley to the local artisanal products served to us…the only thing that beat it all was Phillipe & Natalia’s caring service…they literally welcome you into their home and try and convince you never to leave!…turning 50 never felt so good - I would’ve done it ages ago! 🤣🤣🤣👍🏼🍷

Auf unserer Wanderung im Barranc de Biniaraix haben wir diesen wundervollen Ort entdecken dürfen. Felipe und Natalia leben dort oben in den Bergen und sind sehr herzliche Menschen. Das Olivenöl, dass sie selber produzieren ist das Beste, was wir je kosten durften. Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir haben direkt etwas gekauft 👌🏻 Außerdem konnten wir regional produzierte Produkte probieren, es war herrlich lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Dieser Ort ist wahrhaftig noch ein absoluter Geheimtipp ❤️ Eir schätzen uns so glücklich auf unserer Wanderung September 2023 Felipe begegnet zu sein. Nach einem kleinen Plausch hat er uns den Weg zu seinem Haus erklärt, den wir so nie gegangen waren. Er meinte seine Frau Natalia wartet dort mit Wein, Kuchen und Öl. Wir waren etwas skeptisch, aber die Neugier hat überwogen. Ich habe keine Worte, die den magischen Ort der beiden beschreiben könnten. Wir sind dort für mehrere Stunden versunken und nach einigen Tastings vollgepackt mit selbstproduziertem Öl und Schnaps wieder den Berg hinunter gewandert. Es hat sich angefühlt als würden wir aus einer anderen Welt kommen. Das nächste Mal, wenn wir in der Gegend sind bleiben wir auf jeden Fall über Nacht. VON HERZEN DANKE euch beiden vor allem für die Gespräche über das Leben ☀️

Un auténtico tesoro escondido en la montaña. Llegar hasta este restaurante implica una caminata de unos 3,5 km, pero cada paso merece la pena. El entorno es simplemente espectacular, y la experiencia empieza mucho antes de sentarse a la mesa. La comida es excepcional: una selección deliciosa de productos locales como embutidos, jamones y quesos de gran calidad, acompañados de dulces irresistibles. Lo más sorprendente es el toque de fusión con la cocina mexicana, que aporta un giro original y muy bien logrado a los sabores tradicionales. Todo está cuidado al detalle, desde la calidad de los ingredientes hasta el ambiente acogedor. Es el tipo de lugar que no solo se visita, sino que se recuerda. Our group was in Mallorca for a week, and this was BY FAR our favorite thing we did the entire time. Hands down. To get to their finca on the side of a mountain, we biked from Soller and then hiked 2.5 miles. The hike was absolutely stunning, with the best views of the town below. Once at their finca, Natalie and Felipe served us the most delicious olive oil tasting, accompanied by the freshest sausage, cheeses, and other prepared meats. Their story, their attention to detail, their energy…everything about this experience was magical. Our group just did the olive tasting, but if I came back I would 100% do the brunch + olive oil tasting + dip in the plunge pool. The olive oil tasting we did was already so culinary, I can only imagine how delicious their brunch would be. Thank you so much Natalie and Felipe! We (hopefully) will be back!!!

Where to even begin! Felipe and Natalia were absolutely the most welcoming and hospitable people! From the second we completed our climb to Can Sivella they provide us with a totally unique experience with conversation, delicious assortment of local food and of course the amazing virgin olive oil! Their story, way of life and start/vision of Can Sivella is inspiring. Meaningful and joyful conversation with a beautiful view quickly making strangers into friends. It was an absolute highlight of our trip and gave us a whole new appreciation for the history of Mallorca. Would definitely recommend reaching out to them to make sure you’re able to get the full experience of Can Sivella! This will definitely be a lifelong memory and the easiest recommendation for anyone coming to visit Mallorca!

A fantastic hike in the beautiful surroundings of Torrent de Biniaraix became a very memorable hike thanks to the welcoming hosts at Can Sivella. Drinking coffee on their veranda with the magnificent view, tasting their homemade olive oil and listening to their inspiring story of how they moved here to rebuild the house and take care of all the olive trees. A fantastic experience. Thank you for making our hike very special. We are coming back!

A unique experience when you are in Mallorca - for me a must. Natalia & Felipe welcome everybody with open arms in their amazing house with wide views over the mountains, olive trees & Soller to taste their own produced olive oil with some organic dishes they only get from their garden or by walking down. The hike up is even kids friendly (as we did with a 7 year old). The perfect getaway in the middle of nature where you can relax completely. Their minimalistic way of living is very inspiring & they are very open to inspire you too with their story. 100% recommended when in Soller/ Mallorca! I definitely go back when I’m in Mallorca.

This secluded olive grove is easily one of the coolest experiences I’ve had while traveling. Reservations are required since they can only host a few parties at a time, but that makes the whole experience feel even more personal and special. Filipe and Natalia were wonderful hosts with such an inspiring story to share. Everything we tasted was locally sourced, homemade, and absolutely delicious. We went with the tasting menu, and the highlights were their incredible products — the olive oil, marmalades, and honey were unforgettable. The scenery is breathtaking, and while the hike up can be a bit challenging, it’s well worth it (bring water!). 10/10 — I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Thanks for being so kind and thanks for your open door on our realy hard hiking day. Greetings to the top of the mountains, this is one kind of spot. “Store” barely does this beautiful farm justice. We biked to Biniaraix then started the hike up through the mountains and the olive groves. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by two loving dogs and even more caring and interesting hosts. We did the olive oil tasting and there were so many delicious meats, cheeses, and snacks. Of all the things you can do in and around Soller, you can’t miss this!! One note - the hike includes about 1,000 feet of elevation gain so make sure to bring water!

Can Sivella is a slice of heaven in Mallorca! Felipe and Natalia are both incredible people who generously open the doors of their home to those who make the journey. This is by far my favorite thing to do on the island and favorite place to take people who visit us. When I went up for the first time, I told the both of them, “This won’t be the only time you see me,” and I wasn’t kidding. I’ve gone up two times and plan to go more. It never gets old. There’s a sense of peace and calm that you feel at their property that you won’t feel anywhere else. You somehow leave all your worries at the bottom of the mountain. What they’ve created is out of this world and will you leave in a better place than before you visited. It’s truly healing. Thank you to Felipe and Natalia for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience for everyone who has the chance to visit!

We booked a lunch for 4 people at Felipe and Natalias place. We we're completely blown away by every part of the experience. The hike up there is breathtaking and the food and service from F&N was out of the ordinary. We felt at home. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a lifetime memory.

The highlight of my trip! This type of unexpected and wonderful experience is the reason why I travel. After a beautiful hike my friend and I came across Filipe and Natalia’s beautiful home. Welcomed in by their two lovely dogs Simon and Mela we were offered a number of tastings of local homemade produce which we decided to try one of each!! They all sounded so good there was no way we could just choose one! The surroundings, the food and drink and the lovely hosts talking to you about their story and dreams for the future makes for a unique experience that you should not miss. All made with LOVE! Un lugar de ensueño, parece sacado de una película, por unos momentos sientes estar en un mundo ancestral, los productos son de una calidad inigualable y lo que es muy importante, certificados por la administración local. Como dirían los franceses, la crème de la crème, a mi hijo le ha encantado, un lugar muy especial para una excursión con la familia o los amigos.

Un oasis en medio del camino al mirado de Biniaraix! En el camino vimos un pequeño letrero sobre el aceite de oliva y su hacienda. Aprovechamos en descansar y probar el aceite de oliva. Fue una experiencia fantástica! No sólo Natalie y Felipe son personas muy amables con una linda historia y aceite de oliva muy especial. Tambien tienen muchos productos locales de Mallorca como sobrasada, cerveza y demás. Fue una parada que duró horas y nos fuimos con una gran sonrisa como saliendo de casa! Una parada completamente recomendada!

I was looking for something authentic as a Christmas present for my family and I found it! We took a hike in Barranc de Biniaraix and stop by in Can Sivella olive farm for the tasting. Warmly welcomed by Natalia and Felipe and their 2 lovely dogs Simon and Mela, we felt like to hang out with the old friends. We tasted not only homemade virgin olive oil, but also local products from Mallorca. It was a total blast for my family, thanks to Natalia and Felipe. We will be definitely back!

Arriving at Cansivella is the most rewarding experience after a scenic hike up the valley. From the minute you walk through the gate you feel like you have walked into a good friends home being welcomed by both Natalia and Felipe. Cansivella has the most breathtaking views and just so tranquil. We sampled delicious products made by Natalia and Felipe themselves, as well as amazing local products that they had on offer. Natalia guided us through the very interesting process of producing olive oil, herbes and more. Her knowledge of the local produce in the area is incredible. This is the second time I have been to Cansivella and have learnt something new each time I have been. Thank you Natalia and Felipe for a wonderful morning, can't wait to return.

We visited Can Sivella today and had an amazing experience! Felipe and Natalia are amazing hosts and they’ve created an incredible oasis in the middle of mountains. They explained everything in a lot of detail and I really enjoyed everything they serve is sourced locally from Mallorca! Food was amazing as well as the olive oil they produce at their finca. Highly recommend to visit this place, we’ll be definitely coming back.

Wat een onvergetelijke ervaring! 🌿 De wandeling naar Can Sivella vraagt wat inspanning, het is een serieuze klim en even stappen, dus neem zeker voldoende water mee 💧maar zodra je boven bent, weet je meteen: dit was het 100% waard. We werden ongelofelijk hartelijk ontvangen door Natalia en Filipe, twee mensen met een warmte en gastvrijheid die je niet vaak meer tegenkomt. Het voelde alsof we bij vrienden op bezoek waren. Alles was privé , we waren met z’n zessen en mochten letterlijk eten waar ze wonen, midden tussen de olijfbomen. 🌳 De sfeer was intiem, relaxed en authentiek. Je mag echt jezelf zijn, alsof je thuis bent, maar dan met een uitzicht dat je de adem beneemt. 😍 Het eten was een culinair feest: heerlijk, overvloedig en met zoveel liefde bereid. Ze gebruiken hun eigen producten, waaronder hun zelfgemaakte hierbas en olijfolie – puur en vol smaak. 🫒 Dit was zonder twijfel één van de mooiste en meest unieke dingen die we ooit hebben gedaan. Een plek waar alles klopt: het uitzicht, de mensen, het eten, de sfeer. 👉 Een absolute must-do als je in Mallorca bent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – uniek, warm, en onvergetelijk.

I can not say enough about our visit to Can Sivella. From the moment we met Natalia and Felipe and their beautiful pups, we felt we were being welcomed into the home of friends we had not seen in years. The views are breathtaking and their home is what story books are made of. The olive oil is amazing and we left with as much as we could carry back to the US. I only wish we could get more when we are done . Felipe cooked us the most amazing food that you would find in a five star restaurant. Their life stories and how they came to Can Sivella was life changing for us and inspiring to say the least. This was in my top 3 life experiences so far in my five decades of life. When we left it felt as we were leaving dear friends and as we hiked down the hill I felt as though I left a small piece of my soul . This is a MUST visit . If you get the opportunity, I promise you , you will be so blessed and happy that you did. We can not thank you enough Natalia and Felipe

This is a paradise in the middle of an olive grove. After a short hike along pleasant paths, you arrive at the house where Filippe and Natalia live. They are a very hospitable couple and truly warm-hearted people. You can enjoy an olive oil tasting with them, which also includes regional specialties. They also explain how the oil is produced and many other interesting things. The olive oil is truly excellent. This is my second time staying with them. I can highly recommend them all.

It's difficult to find words to communicate the incredible experience that is Can Sivella and the hospitality from Felipe and Natalia, our hosts. When we ventured on the Barranc de Biniaraix hike (near Soller Mallorca) leading to Can Sivella, it was impossible to imagine the afternoon that awaited us. We were heartily welcomed by Felipe and Natalia, and encouraged to make ourselves comfortable at their stunning mountain home. The views down the mountain and to the sea were incredible. But that wasn't all! We enjoyed a delicious olive oil tasting made from the property's olive trees. And the unique, creative, and delicious tasting menu, accompanied by wine we were invited to choose from their cellar, was memorable, fun, and delicious. We truly did feel at home. We were treated like VIPs and family, all at the same time. If you are visiting the area, this is a must-do (be prepared for a moderate uphill hike for about 90 minutes). When we next visit Mallorca, Can Sivella is #1 on our list. Thank you Natalia and Felipe!

No se como definirlo, todo fantástico: trato, ubicación, organización, abanico de sabores en todas los ingredientes. Sin duda repetiría.

Si te preguntas si merece la pena el trayecto: no solo lo merece, sino que lo supera. Felicidades Natalia y Felipe por vuestro proyecto y mostrarle el camino al resto.

I was lucky enough to receive an experience here as a Christmas gift. I absolutely loved every moment and would highly reccomend to anyone with an interest in nature, cooking/food, Mallorquin tradition, ecotourism and rural ( yet super awesome) life. Felipe and Natalia are wonderful hosts and are living a brilliant life (despite the hauling of everything they need up and down a mountain!). It would be remiss of me not to mention how handsome Felipe is …he told me to write that part …but offered me excellent liquor as a bribe so I readily accept! ;) Food and experience - and walk up to location- 5 stars and I’m planning a return in 2026. Thanks to you both.

Menudo descubrimiento!! Si ya el paseo por el barranco de Biniaraix es brutal, encontrar Can Sivella lo hace mas increible aun. Lo descubrimos paseando y nos enamoró, no solo el pedazo aceite que se vende, pero también la calidad humana de Natalia y de Felipe, la historia de su maravilloso cambio y su actual estilo de vida y forma en la que acogen a aquellos que les visitan. Un aceite de oliva de 10 y unas hierbas brutales. Volveremos para conocer mas de ellos y poder probar un poquito mas de todo lo que hacen. Si pasas por ahí, es una parada obligatoria.
