This evening we tried the tasting menu: the quality of every course was excellent, and the service was impeccable. The price was more than fair considering the quantity and deliciousness of the food. We'll be back.

We opted for the January menu offer, and tried four appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and dessert at a very reasonable price. Everything was delicious, especially the shrimp appetizer and the pappardelle with bottarga, shrimp, and yellow cherry tomatoes! Excellent service and the owner's kindness! We'll definitely be back.

A well-kept and welcoming restaurant, there were plenty of fans between the tables to cool the air on these summer evenings. Personally, I find this solution helps avoid the sudden temperature changes caused by the air conditioning. The seafood-only menu includes a variety of dishes to suit all tastes and needs. I tried the red shrimp tartare, spaghetti with mussels and pecorino cheese, and lobster catalana with fruit and vegetables: well-cooked dishes, beautifully presented, and made with top-quality ingredients. The quality/price ratio is appropriate for the location and the cuisine.

The first was a success. Today's lunch, my first time at Hostaria Il Cavallo, was an excellent experience. There was nothing to complain about with the dishes, high quality, and attention to detail. All this in a comfortable setting and with friendly service. All this justifies the overall cost of the lunch. The ideal location for a romantic outing.

A Lombard evening, outside the province, but very close to home (13 km from the center of Piacenza). Enjoyable cuisine, both traditional and innovative, complemented by the friendly owner Massimo, who is attentive and always available to meet the needs of his guests. I'll definitely be back!!!

An elegant and relaxed restaurant where you can enjoy excellent seafood dishes. The scampi and truffle risotto is very good. The mixed fried fish is plentiful, light, and crispy. The wine list is also good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only flaw is the cutlery used for the appetizer: extremely long and uncomfortable.
