This place was nice and cozy on a cold day. It’s located just off of highway 46 and there are so many other shops and places to eat around. We live in the area and finally decided to stop by. So glad we did. Service was pretty good. The food came out quick and was hot. I had the cowboy bun and it had a huge onion ring on it that was killer. Wife had a fish sandwich and she really liked it. We could tell it was fresh and tasted the quality. We will definitely go back again.

Such a fun place with good food. Our server (either Steve or Stephen) was outstanding! The southwest egg rolls and milkshake are a must!

The bathrooms are very nice. The staff are very friendly. Everything greets you, and continue to check on you to make sure you're enjoying your meal. The burgers taste amazing! The French fries and onion rings are perfectly prepared (yum). There is inside and outside seating. The music playlist was on point. If I could give more stars, I would. This is not your typical burger joint. It's more like an upscale burger restaurant. We will be back to try more burgers. We had the PB and J bun, and the patty melt.

First time here and it was nice. Service was really slow but I think they were short-staffed tonight. I had to get up twice to ask for refills. The burgers were good. The appetizer was good. I can’t remember the name of it. But it was like a deep fried popper. Hostess greeted us. Bartender was super accommodating. We will return.

1st time visiting here. I've heard great things about Fun Buns and I understand why. Plenty of seats but still busy. Sage was our waitress, she's very knowledgeable about the menu and professional. I had the Fat Daddy melt (Thursday special normally $15.00 but this night is $10.00) and it was great. My wife had the Mushroom Swiss Bun and it was fantastic as well. We will be back.

We came for the food and already loved that they bring water for our pups. But then Sage really said hold my tray. I asked for the whipped cream from my milkshake on the side because my dogs love it—fully expecting a sad little dollop in a disposable cup. Nope. Sage brought out a generous portion in an actual glass bowl. For the dogs. Icon behavior. 10/10, best waitress ever.

Well this was a fun adventure....there was so much more than I expected. Fun buns is in a whole complex of restaurants/bars, food trucks and live music. I was not expecting that, it was so cool. The night we went the band was pretty good too. Inside it is such a cool vibe with a mural and cool decor. We had great service from our server Clarissa. As someone who is slowly becoming a fried pickle aficionado, these were some of the best I have had. They use a light batter like you would use on fish and chips. Super light and tasty. Our burgers were hot and tasty. The kids enjoyed their sliders. The hubs devoured his PB&J burger. I tried it, I mean, for quality control purposes, and I really enjoyed it! The PB&J gives that sweet and salty contrast, and on that super soft bun. It is a winner! This place is also on my approved bathroom list. Super cool wallpaper/decor and clean. They also have a small arcade, which has some classic games and claw machines. A great place for a family or group meal or a date at the bar. We will definitely be back to try some more things and play corn hole in the back patio.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone. I started with the popular Fun-ion Ring Tower, which was crispy, flavorful, and a great appetizer to share. For my main course, I ordered the Mac Daddy — a beef patty topped with special sauce, lettuce, chopped onions, American cheese, and pickles, all served on a toasted sourdough bun. I added bacon, which was a fantastic addition and took the burger to the next level. I paired it with chili cheese fries, which were hearty and satisfying. The atmosphere inside was upbeat and visually appealing, with bold, fun colors that matched the energetic vibe. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Fun Buns is a great spot for casual dining with good food, great service, and a unique, playful setting. Perfect for a night out with friends or a fun family meal

We tried Fun Buns tonight and we were not disappointed! The service was great, the environment fun, and the food was fabulous. They have a great outside eating area that we can’t wait to visit again and bring our pups. Such a great find.

this place is a vibe. aesthetically there’s something so warm and dope about it here at fun buns.. whether it’s the graffiti, the fun lights and games in the arcade area, or even the cheeky interior of the bathroom lol. the food was delicious and such cute witty names for everything! I had a build your own bun and it was yummy. mac and cheese appetizer look like chicken nuggies but i loved how it was perfectly bite sized. Clarissa was our waiter and she was amazing!! so sweet and loved her energy and kindness. she gave us recommendations and my husband and got what she recommended and loved it! she pays great attention to your table and needs, like refills on drinks, caps for our ranches to go, and overall it was a great experience, will definitely be back with my family .

Tried Fun Buns for the first time tonight and we will 100% be coming back. We arrived at about 7 on a Friday night. The parking lot was packed but there was plenty of tables inside and out. The vibe is kinda grown up diner with nice chairs, booths, good music, and a game room. The menu has a wide variety of creative burgers, grilled chicken, fish and salads. We decided to start with chili cheese fries, which were excellent. My wife got the Bock Bock Bun, a straight up grilled chicken sandwich and I went for a grilled chicken version of the Cowboy Bun. Yeah, I know, we go to a burger place and get chicken. Whatever, it's what we were in the mood for. Both were very good and beyond filling. Fries, both standard and sweet potatoes, are also very good. We had a coke and a water and the bill came out to about $50 before tip. Our waitress was great, never letting our drinks run dry and checking in at appropriate intervals.

This is a hidden gem in the small town of Spring Branch. Nestled in a shopping area with other businesses, it stands out with it's unique decor and atmosphere. It gives off 80's and 90's vibes. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly! Definitely recommend and we will be back!

Fun Buns in Spring Branch is a must-stop. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and clearly made by people who know what they’re doing—none of that frozen, slapped-together nonsense. The fries are hot, crispy, and dangerously easy to finish. And let’s talk about the boozy milkshakes… genius. Fun for the adults, indulgent, and perfectly over-the-top without being gimmicky. Laid-back Hill Country vibes, great food, and something for everyone—plus they’re open for lunch Tuesday through Sunday, which makes it even better. We’ll absolutely be back.

Great burgers. Comfort food-casual dining. Great pride is put into the burgers, mix and quality of ingredients, and experience. Lots of great appetizers. Good family experience. Not fast food, not brew pub either, but a ‘tweener. You won’t leave hungry.

This was our first time visiting, and overall it was a pleasant experience 😊 The place had a nice vibe, and we were greeted right away by the hostess, which made us feel welcome from the start. Service was a bit slow during our visit, but it seemed like they might have been short-staffed that evening. I did have to get up twice to ask for drink refills 🥤, but everyone was polite about it. The food definitely made up for the wait! The burgers were tasty, juicy, and cooked just right 🍔🔥 We also ordered an appetizer — I can’t remember the exact name, but it was something like a deep-fried popper — and it was really good and perfectly crispy. The bartender was especially accommodating and helpful, which we appreciated a lot 👏 Even with the slower service, we enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely give it another try. Looking forward to coming back! 😊

Our first time here for lunch today and we will be back OFTEN. Loved the restaurant decor, the restrooms were immaculate and decorated so cute. Food was outstanding and the burger meat was so fresh and tasty. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich and loved it. Kettle chips were still warm from the fryer. I had the Hawaiian burger with a side of chili cheese fries. Both were wonderful. Sadie, our waitress, was prompt, professional and totally engaging. Really loved our experience and can’t wait to return. Thanks, John, for this super restaurant. Oh, yes, there’s great outside seating and big screen TVs inside, plus a separate arcade area for the kiddies.

I really liked the burger! I had the big bun. The flavor for the pattie was nice! We got the fun-ion ring tower because every table also seemed to have one. We weren't huge fans though, lots of batter and the onions were pretty thick. Those wouldn't be enough stop me from coming back though. It's a great place to let your kids run around. It gets busy though!

It’s just odd and inconsistent, especially when you’re paying over $50 for 4 burgers. Another frustration is that special instructions seem to be ignored. Even when I clearly ask for certain items to be excluded, they still show up on the burger as if the notes weren’t read at all. Overall, Fun Buns isn’t terrible, but for the price point, I expect better consistency, more accurate presentation, and attention to order notes. Right now, it’s just average at best.

Fun Buns is a cute spot, but the prices take all the “fun” out of it. We came for lunch and ordered two burgers, fries, and a drink. The total? Over $40. The burgers were just okay — nothing that justifies that kind of price tag. For $40, I expect a meal that wows me, not one I forget by the time I get to the parking lot. Definitely not worth it for what you get.

Lying Hostess, and Slow Kitchen...In my experience, we arrived with a party of 4 people, (Two of them very hungry kids). We walked in and after a few minutes, the Hostess sat us at a table in the back. Our waitress, (who was great), came to the table, greeted us nicely, and politely notified us that the kitchen was an hour backed up for food. With two kids not able to wait another hour, we decided to find somewhere else to eat. As we got up from the table, I mentioned to the server, "Your Hostess should do you a favor, and let people know about the wait prior to seating them." I understand busy, and have family in the food service industry, so no real harm to this point. I watched the server ask the Hostess about notifying us of the wait. Here initiates the first lie, whe I heard the Hostess respond, "I did tell them". When I called her on the lie, the hostess had the nerve to argue and lie to me, now saying she told me, "there was a 45 minute wait". Lie #2 to cover your mistake. Unacceptable behavior from someone who is a front of house face and personality for your business. Poor showing, and not a strong draw to try this restraunt again.
