Great Food! Younger gentleman who helped us at the front answered all of our questions and gave great feedback on the menu items. Even called the manager to clarify what was gluten free, all with a smile! Clean restaurant, bathrooms were a little dirty but the food and atmosphere was phenomenal. Highly recommend the sweet potatoe fries, shack salad and chicken waffles.

OMG, my wife and I decided to stop and give the Cookshack a try. We were extremely hungry. She ordered the chicken and waffles. I ordered the chicken sandwich with mac n cheese. They bring your order to your table. They have a nice bar, several screens to watch your game and good music to listen to. The food is really good. Give it a try.

Wow, this place really surprised me. I went at prime lunchtime, and there was a line, and i couldn't believe how fast it went and how fast i got my food. (Fast, friendly service) it was like all the employees owned the place. Great place, and i haven't even gotten to the food yet! Chicken tenders were the perfect blend of spicy and crispy, and they even had gravy as a dipping sauce choice. This is definitely a place you should try or keep going back to.

Great service and better food. I had the chicken and waffles and they were outstanding. The Mac and cheese was great too. My wife had the Sleezy Chicken (chicken, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese) and she loved it. There was plenty of seating and the place was clean. Ever since I went to Nashville years ago, I love hot chicken and I appreciate all the local places popping up. This is probably my new favorite. We will be back. Paul

Great menu with chicken, ribs, waffles, salads, and one damned good ice cream cookie sandwich. I got mild heat and it was perfect. My buddies got the higher heat and were sweating. Loved the fries, reminded me of Wendy's fries. Couldn't order the Texas caviar because they add onions and cucumber. Got the blue cheese dip, which was wonderful. Will certainly be back

Family friendly, Great food and Wonderful service. The menu is just as big as it needs to be. You can get your chicken super hot or mild enough that a baby could eat it. The Mac'n Cheese is the bomb.com and the butterscotch cookies are a dessert that is definitely worth trying. You can't go wrong with The Cookshack!

Ambiance: Fun quick bite & to go spot in Spring with a western meets industrial/modern vibe perfect for a quick lunch, weekend family/friend dinner spot, or ordering takeout! Fast and friendly service. Pretty affordable pricing, I really the chicken bites - good deal and filling! They have a nice patio seating area. Multiple table/dining options including booths. Bar area as well! Parking onsite. We were a bit confused when ordering drinks. We wanted to order our food and then sit at the bar to order a round or two of drinks. We were told we had to order drinks at the cash register - which just made the entire drink situation a bit difficult because we couldn't tell what beers/wines were available. Besides that, we enjoyed The Cookshack and will go back!

The service was fast, the restaurant was clean and the employees were very friendly. I got the quarter rack of ribs with sweet potato waffle fries and a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich for dessert. The ribs tasted great and fall off the bone! They were just a bit too salty for me, however I still enjoyed it. The fries were crispy and had a good flavor. The ice cream cookie was alright. I noticed the ice cream was iced over a bit and didn't have much of a "creamy" texture. The cookie part was good, though! All in all my grandpa and I enjoyed our first time here very much.

I never knew this place existed, I've been on much a hot chicken binge, so off the strength of that, I had to come to visit. The place is what it is, it's a shack..a cook shack, so there is nothing amazing about the interior design (lol) but you're not here for that, you're here for the chicken, salad, and/or ribs. I went with the mildly spicy chicken & waffles, and a kale salad with chicken. In all honesty for a kale salad, was really good, not the best but if I'm in the area I may consider it. Now for the chicken and waffles, I LOVE their waffles, I think it's the best fluffy + crispness to accompany chicken tenders of any spice level. Most places just have crispy waffles and crispy tenders, I love the way the Chick en& Waffles has been interpreted here. I inquired about the hottest chicken and discovered you have to sign a waiver before placing that order, I declined that because I wanna still be able to taste the food after eating, but, ngl, I have to try it now, along with the ribs. The customer service was the best I've seen in a while!!!

The Cookshack is a nice fast- casual spot. It has a hip upscale industrial vibe, but more cozy than cold . There's a bar that has a few liquors, wine and more beers. We shared a combo of a quarter rack of ribs, 2 chicken strips and we chose sweet potato waffle fries. We don't like spicy so we got everything "not hot" as it comes. Everything was fresh, ribs were VERY tender and meaty, chicken strips were large, yummy, and obviously hand made, and fries were appropriately crispy. We got honey mustard and "shack sauce" which is similar to a Cane's sauce. Both sauces were more creamy/mayo based, and we liked them both. Service was fast and friendly, and seating was plentiful. They make their lemonade from scratch, and it's good, but it is TART. I mixed mine w/ tea to tamp the sour some, which helped. We would definitely check them out again!

I really loved the atmosphere and the service was top quality! I just wasn't as pleased with the food. My family all raved about it so I guess it's just me but I found the sweet potato fries to be soggy and cold, the coleslaw had a weird flavor that tasted like cough syrup and the breading on the chicken tenders were extremely salty. Like I said, it just wasn't my preference but the rest of my family disagreed.

Horrible. We used to go all the time and we used to love to go. Until about last week me and my sister ordered take out we got two orders of the mac and cheese bowl with chicken. While my sister was already done eating i started to eat and minutes later saw my CHICKEN WAS RAW!!!!!!!!!! I IMMEDIATELY STOPPED EATING AND TOOK IT BACK. All the worker said was "so sorry we can give you a refund" WHAT THE HECK!!!! Meaning my sister's CHICKEN WAS PROBABLY RAW TOO!!!!!!. Not even days later she had to miss work and couldn't keep anything down. WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN. SO CARELESS.
