A great Italian restaurant! Large servings and everything was DELICIOUS! The mozzarella sticks were to die for! This place was so good, with friendly servers and attentive staff.... we came back a second night in a row! The pictures show the place kinda empty but we came early for dinner... the 2nd night was almost packed.
Absolutely 5-🌟place and here is why: 1) Hospitality & waitstaff: From the moment I walked in, the team made us feel like family. The waiters and waitresses were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about our experience without being intrusive. Special thanks to Camryn for being so hospitable and professional. 🙏 2) Food & chef: Every dish was spot-on! The pizzas were perfectly cooked, crispy crust, fresh toppings, and bold flavors that showed real craftsmanship from the kitchen. Hats off to the chef! 🎩 3) Place & atmosphere: The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and cozy… the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. Beautiful decor without being over-the-top. 🛋️ 4) Price: For the high quality of food and service, the prices were more than fair. We left full, happy, and without feeling like we overpaid… great value all around. 💰 Consistency: Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, Bertucci’s delivers the same excellent quality every single time. I know I am in for a great meal I can trust. So, I will go back again! 👌 I highly recommend this place 😊 ✅
Wow! 17 years ago was the last time I was even in a Bertucci's! That one was in Reading MA but this one was just as great! The rolls and garlic knots are a must! If you still have room then the pizzas are great. Honestly everything is good. Service is awesome and atmosphere is similar to a large family get together. Definitely will come again when I'm back in this area!
I rarely dine on Veterans Day. This time, my wife and I decided to have a date night. Everywhere we go, there is a wait of at least 2-4 hours. We decided to have pizza because we had passed by Bertucci's every time we went to the mall or Home Depot over the years and never gave it a try. We are glad we made the decision, and they also give a free entrée to Veterans. We didn't order any pizza as intended, but the choices we ordered were delicious, and the service was excellent, which earned additional tips from us. We had a wonderful experience and jumped into their gift card deal, which said that for every $50, you get $10, so we will come back next time.
A+. $52 for two incl tax. Entre's came with excellent salad and bread/oil. One soda. Atmosphere and service staff very pleasant. They can accommodate large groups.
My Server and Bartender Shane was incredible. This was my first time and he recommended a great shrimp entree. It was amazing. Overall my experience was great! Thanks Shane!
The food is excellent and the portion sizes are great. The salad came with the spaghetti. The staff were friendly and it wasn't busy during lunch.
Chicken parm lunch special was very filling and tasty...especially after the bruschetta which was plenty delicious also.
Rylee was our waitress and she made our experience so special, she ensured our food was hot, drinks replenished and she was very courteous. We definitely had a phenomenal experience and can’t wait to come by again!! Thanks Rylee
Very good food and price correct Waitress polite and professional
I am very happy I found this place. This is a fantastic Italian restaurant. This place’s inside is far arger than its outside. It is enormous. They appeared to have a sizable reservation for tourists traveling in large groups. Our server then led us to the section that was set aside for walk-in customers. Our server was excellent and very kind. We selected Rigatoni Abruzzi and Shrimp Rossuni. Both were quite tasty. I observe them baking the pizza in the enormous built-in oven. It appeared fantastic. Maybe I'd try their pizza the next time.
The complementary bread taste delicious, our waiter was really nice and she also mentioned the Tuesday pizza specials, All the food that we ordered taste good and it came out really fast.
October 2022 We ordered Cheeseburger pizza, ravioli, salad and a tasty chocolate cake. Good service. Delicious bread. Yummy shrimp with pasta and tasty desserts. My family was very pleased with their meal. The waitress did a good job.
We catered for our families Christmas Dinner! It blew my mind beyond expectations!!! I'm a very picky eater not to mention I'm Italian and I'm used to Grandmas authentic cooking!!! Was such a beautiful spread that tasted like layers of heaven! The little bread balls were Devine! The layers of cheese in the lasagna were thick yet tender and the meat just combined perfectly! I highly highly recommend especially if you want catered family style meal at home!
Honestly, I didn’t expect the service here to be stellar - and it was! This is a very casual environment but our waitress gave us top tier service. Our salmon was perfectly prepared and flavorful. We came here because it was en route from point A to point B, and we were so surprised at the quality of our meal and the exceptional attitude and next level attention to our table and the two tables within ear shot. I wish I had noted our waitresses name - she was so wonderful. Monday night around 5:30. Thanks for a great experience. What a humbling moment - our expectations were far too low. This was great.
We came here with a large bus group and the service was Amazing and everything was great! The manager Fre and her daughter worked hard to make our experience really nice! Everything was served in a timely manner and hot. Caesar salad, creamy rigatoni w chicken broccoli, chicken piccata, Spaghetti w meat sauce and great pizza eere delicious. We will be back!
My husband and I came in celebration of just getting married. We love italian food. Elizabeth was our server and we received the best dining experience. Everything was delicious. We had a 1/2 carafe of sangria, Caesar salads , 4 cheese ravioli and shrimp pasta. The rolls were fresh, the entrees were spot on. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Elizabeth, for giving us such a memorable experience ❤️
Our waitresses Elizabeth made sure our family dinner was unforgettable. Great service , good food .
Everything about this place was pretty good. They impressed an island boy as myself with their great appetizers & pizzas. I would say there wings special on Wednesday’s are amazing. Goes well with their bread.
We had sangria, caesar salad, and a pizza. It was all great. Service was attentive and helpful. Good value in a quiet upscale Italian restaurant. Highly recommend.
I recently visited this restaurant and was genuinely impressed! The customer service was outstanding—every staff member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ experience. The General manager is a very nice guy who came to check on my family twice and made sure my kids are happy. The restaurant itself was spotless. From the dining area to the restrooms, everything was clean and well-maintained, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable and relaxing. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
This was our first time trying Bertucci’s, and we ordered takeout — two absolutely amazing pizzas! They were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can truly taste the quality. What really stood out, though, was the manager. She was incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely customer-focused. Even though we were just picking up takeout, she took the time to introduce herself and share the weekly specials — including the fantastic Tuesday 2-for-1 pizza deal — and warmly invited us back for another visit. That personal touch made a big impression. Great food and exceptional hospitality from the very start. We’ll definitely be back! Updated: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dine-In Experience Our dine-in experience was just as wonderful. The restaurant staff is warm and inviting, creating such a comfortable atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Our server, Elizabeth, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. She struck the perfect balance of checking in without being intrusive. The manager recognized us from our previous visit, which was such a thoughtful surprise, and even treated us to dessert. That level of attentiveness and genuine appreciation for returning guests is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service. Exceptional hospitality, delicious food, and a team that truly cares — we’ll absolutely continue coming back!
This is a good chain pasta restaurant that also serves very good pizza with some interesting toppings, their specialty pizzas are great. They have a brick pizza oven. They often have deals which helps make it affordable for families. Just like with lots of chain restaurants sometimes the servers seem to disappear towards the end of the meal and it can take a little while to get the check and finish paying. Just a pet peeve of mine - don’t make me wait to pay you! The servers have aways been lovely, though.
Sadly they closed our local Bertucci's & we had a gift card we wanted to use. We drove nearly 90 minutes for the Sporkie! Service was quite slow. It took forever for our waitress to get our drinks & rolls. We had to ask for our salad, which came about 30 seconds before our pizza. We had to ask 2x for straws, she never brought extra napkins. She forgot to check on us for refills. She did seem to check on other tables, just not us 🤷♀️. She was very sweet, just lacking in skills. We still tipped well - heck, it is a few days before Christmas. Sporkie was excellent, rolls & oil was good too.
The staff was very nice and attentive. The grilled salmon and pizza were cooked to perfection. The calzone was a little over cooked on the bottom from the brick oven, but the head chef took care of it. The lentil soup just needed a little salt and pepper added to it. The rolls are really good.
UPDATE I'm glade to say that the past 2 times have been great, we have been seated in the bar area ( by our request ). The service has been great as well as the food quality too it has been much better. Let's start with the food first, when we got it it was not as good as it is usually. My youngest got spaghetti with a meatball and we added a second. The bowl came with 1 meatball cut in half. The baked raviolis were under cooked, and the Macaroni and cheese was just pasta and a white sauce. Now the service it started going south when we walked in, the hostess was great and she offered to seat us in the bar area, not bad especially if you take part in the happy hour menu worth it. But apparently the server working that section didn't want to serve us so he told the hostess to seat us at a 6 top table and add a chair ( I don't recommend not comfortable for a party of 7.) The server we got looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there. The manager would not make an exception to let us order some of the happy hour items due to the new table location. That we got moved too not by choice. Long story short just an overall bad experience.
Pretty good and better than I expected having driven by it many times. Bread and olive oil comes with meal, they we're fresh and hot.Service was good at entrance and the table. I had pizza, crust was flaky which I like and had good flavor. Wife had lentil soup was also good. I'd definitely go back.
Got takeout pizza here for lunch. Pizza was great, but order was supposed to be ready at 12:05pm and wasn’t done until 12:45pm. Kitchen didn’t seem like it was functioning correctly. Restaurant also felt a bit tired. Full price pizza is also expensive.
Never been to this chain and we were looking for a quick Italian bite, it was located in the very comercial area across the Springfield town center but it was not crowded and it was Excellent Italian food, plates are large enough that you will probably end up taking food home. Food did take a little to come out even thought place was 70% empty but the wait was worth it. The chicken Alfredo was perfect, we came on a Saturday but we would likely come back in a week day for their lunch specials. Recommended!
Elizabeth was our server. She was personable and kind. We ordered spinach artichoke dip, lasagna, Ceasar salad. The best part of our meal were the rolls and seasoned olive oil. The bread for the dip was charred, the replacement bread had the same charred flavor. The salad was fine, the lasagna fair. We had chocolate cake for take out, it's always very good. We've been Bertucci's patrons for many years, over 10. The only location is an hour away from our home. I think this is our last visit.
The bread and pizza were fresh and our waitress Elizabeth had great customer service. Will be visiting again with my family!
Good food, but pricey. Food was good, but not memorable, service was ok, but that’s about it. Tried the pizza, pasta and garlic knots. Nothing was wrong necessarily but nothing made such an impact to make me want to go out of my way to go back.
1st, let me say the chicken piccata was excellent. I ordered it as take out. It was fresh & still piping hot when I got home. The service was the downside. The take out desk was more busy than the dining side. A man was taking a 20 minute phone order & no other employees offered to help customers picking up orders. Also, my order was ready 20 minutes late.
We went here so many without any problem. We love the food here and enjoy it every time. But today we had very a bad experience. We waited for food for over 30 minutes just for starters but we can understand that. The one thing that really disappointed us was the service. When she served the food she just dropped it and left. We were there for at least 1:30hr but she never came back to refill our drinks and never came out to check anything. I had to stand up to ask for the service. It's so inconvenient.
I ordered through uber eats so I can’t speak on the service or atmosphere but the food I ordered was NOT good. I got the meatball appetizer and the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. I would give the meatballs about a 3.5/5 and the Alfredo a 1/5. The portion was huge but there was no flavor whatsoever. I could make better Alfredo at home. There was a weird after taste like some aspect of it was frozen at some point. The shrimp had zero flavor, it’s like they were boiled with water and thrown in. Couldn’t taste any garlic, Italian herbs, nada. It was so disappointing for the price. Will not be ordering again. I had La Fiamma earlier this week and it was 10x better. The 4.2 rating on this place is a joke. Save your money
The Spaghetti & Meat Sauce was awful, was sitting in a puddle of watered down grease which I could have ignored if the spaghetti and sauce was seasoned well but everything was completely bland, you do get a decent portion size but for almost $23, it could at least have flavor. The Limoncello Mascarpone Cake and Banana Dream Cake were the best things out of the meal which is why I gave them 2 stars. The Side Caesar was generic so I'm indifferent about it.
Service was great but 2 lasagnas came out ice cold on the inside. Manager tried to reheat our food instead of make new. Won’t be going back.
The food here is not even edible, not sure how anyone gave a good review. The pizza tastes worse than it looks in the picture. How can they charge $20 for that? There is no flavor to the food. The pizza is falling apart and the pasta is burnt. The chicken used in the pasta is old and stale. It tasted dry and chewy like chicken that has been cooked and left in the refrigerator for days. You can get way better pizza and Italian food from frozen meals.
I’m not really one to leave reviews, but I unfortunately think this place needs one. We went for lunch and there were 3 maybe 4 tables seated when we got in. We immediately saw 2 waitresses on the floor and a 3rd one came out shortly after. When we were seated, it took 20 minutes for the lady to come and ask us what we wanted to drink and bring rolls out. My appetizer plate that was on the table was extremely gross. Covered in oil and fingerprints. We told the waitress what we wanted to drink and she had to come back to ask 2 or 3 times again as to what we said we wanted to drink. She then proceeded to try to take our menus when we hadn’t even ordered food yet. We sat with our drinks for about 15 minutes before she came back and asked us what we wanted to eat. Mind you, we had told her we were ready to eat when she gave us our drinks. She took our order and asked us to please be patient as they were super busy… yet again, only 3 tables were there at the time. 40 minutes later we got our food and it was just not good. Tastes very bland and cheap. I had fettuccine Alfredo and my husband had spaghetti. My fettuccine tasted like the cheese had gone bad and my husband said his spaghetti was so bland and inedible. We had to box his up just so he could come home and add his own seasoning/sauce to it. I couldn’t even finish mine. Fast forward a couple hours later and we were both sick. Definitely will not return here.
They are scammers start from the manager to the person called Nabil. There coupon for sale on 50% ended up there was lying And they don’t honor it. They are not clean they have nail and very dirty .very rude. I have no idea how they cook with their nail is dirty nobody watching. I ate two times I got sick. Stay away.
Food was mid at best and my glass of sweet tea was empty for the majority of the meal. The wait staff is slow and neglected several customers. I waited 30 minutes after all the food was gone to get my check.
I ordered food and it was suppose to be ready at 6:05pm for pick up. 35 mins later I asked to speak to a manager. He said they had issues with the oven and said sooo what do you want to do? I said you had my number give me a call let me know my food is going to take longer than expected and an honest answer how long my food is going to take. He said 5 mins. 10 minutes later nothing. The food is great here but they are not efficient. I overheard another persons pizza was made wrong while waiting. I wasn’t expecting a discount a coupon or anything just an answer and the oven being broke was not it.
We walked into Bertucci’s on a Saturday night around 8:30 with high hopes. We were not greeted so we had no clue whether we had to seat ourselves or not, but when we were seated the Bartender clearly had an attitude but whatever, we are hungry. The table had no silverware and no napkins, fine, we asked for them but when my bf’s salad came it LITERALLY had ONE SLIVER of red onion, ONE cucumber, and ONE tomato the rest is lettuce. Our appetizer the Polpette came out and was barely even warm. You could look at it and tell it wasn’t warm but we tried it any way. At this point we haven’t eaten all day and we had had enough. We called the manager but she told us the salad “comes like that”. Never in the history of ever have I gotten a salad with one sliver of red onion. I told them if you don’t want us here we won’t be here, and we left. The place was empty literally 3 other families in the WHOLE PLACE. So being busy is not an excuse. None of the employees spoke or even made eye contact. No wonder the place is empty.
Bertucci’s used to be my favorite go to spot for the past 5 years, but not anymore after today and my last incident with them. This place went really down hill this past year. I placed a lunch pick up order for a chicken Milanese and a Spaghetti with meat sauce. It took 40 minutes to receive my order , and on top of that I think they gave me someone else old order cause the name “rosemary” was originally on it but then they drew over it and put my name. I say that cause the sandwich looks as if it’s been out for a while not even like it was made fresh when given to me, it just had a look that it had been out for a while. Like I said I had order chicken Milanese, which I had multiple times cause I would come to Bertucci’s often so I know how the sandwich is supposed to look. Not once have I ever received it with zucchini or onions or whatever else was on it , I always had it with Roma tomato and arugula cause that’s how it’s shown on the menu. Anyways when I got home and opened my food , the chicken was so overcooked that i could snap a piece of it off , and my sister thought it was beef cause of how dark it was. I’m allergic to zucchini so I was surprised seeing that on my sandwich. So I went back in person to talk about it to see if I can get it remade or if it was going to take too long to just get it refunded. When the girl working at the counter spoke to her manager I could hear that he was visibly upset saying “that’s how the chicken Milanese comes like do you see, if she doesn’t want it then thats how it comes” getting mad that I sent the food back. I explained to the girl the chicken Milanese was so overcooked I don’t know how they expect anyone to eat that , if I wanted a fried hard chicken sandwich I would’ve just went to wingstop and on top of that it had zucchini , I’m allergic to zucchini. It seems like they were just trying to send me off my way with that non edible sandwich so I jsut asked for a refund instead. I wish I had taken a picture but I was so upset I went straight back to the establishment and wanted it to be fixed quick And last week when I placed an online order my pizza was undercooked and was doughy , I gave them the benefit of doubt since it was a weekend and they must’ve been busy but after today I will no longer be coming back. Bad service , bad food and horrible atmosphere.
On Saturday, November 22nd, I came to Bertucci’s for my first time, at the request of my wife, who had been there previously with a group of friends. We arrived around 6:45pm, and were told that we had about a 20 minute wait. I put my name on the waiting list myself. 30 minutes had passed, and not one party had been seated. I counted ten open tables. So, I asked to speak to a manager. The server went to the manager, who was too busy at the moment, so she asked if she could help. I asked her if no one was being seated due to the restaurant being understaffed. This is something that I would understand, since there were so many open tables. She said, “In the restaurant business, when you’re busy…,” I cut her off, explaining that I had spent many years in the restaurant business, explaining that the only time that people didn’t get seated at open tables was due to understaffing. She continued with the “busy” reasoning when the manager came over, and gave the same “busy” explanation. He further said that if I am going to continue with my attitude that I should leave. I will admit that I was frustrated, seeing multiple open tables, and waiting people not getting seated. In fact, if understaffing could have been admitted, I would have understood and waited a little longer. However, this particular manager was clearly upset, and struggling to handle the busy-ness with the 10 open tables. I knew, at this point, that even if I did ever get seated, it would not be a pleasant experience. I’m grateful, because my wife and I had a sensational experience at Johnny’s New York Style Pizza, down the street, where we were immediately seated, had great service, and amazing food. I will never return to Bertucci’s, for obvious reasons. I will be sharing this experience with all of my social media friends so they will be prepared before they try to go to Bertucci’s. I wish you the best, because I do believe in the importance of the restaurant business. However, you have certainly lost my business, as I will not be returning.
We walked in for a Sunday lunch while in the area. Restaurant was dimly lit and seemed understaffed. The nice lady working the “to-go” counter told us that someone would be by to assist us shortly. We stood at the entrance for no less than 10 minutes (with open tables abound) as servers dashed back and forth between the kitchen and their tables, making eye contact with us several times. Nobody even said hello or “we will be right with you”-just walked past. After three iterations of being ignored or disregarded, we left without even being seated at a table. By the time we left, there were two other families patiently waiting to be seated as well- not sure if they ever made it to a table.
Visited Bertucci’s on Christmas Day and it was a terrible experience. The restaurant was not busy at all, yet our food took over an hour to come out. We asked multiple times to speak with a manager, and no one ever came to our table. Eventually, we saw a man walk in and were told by an employee that he was the manager, Mazen. Despite being aware of the situation, he never addressed our concerns or acknowledged us. Instead, we witnessed him yelling at other staff members, which made the atmosphere extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant. The overall vibe of this location is not welcoming, and the lack of leadership was obvious. Upper management seriously needs to look into this manager, because the way this situation was handled (or ignored) is unacceptable. I won’t be returning.
The food is absolute trash. It's clearly Sysco garbage middle school grade food prepared by people that don't care at all about what they're doing. The chicken alfredo wasn't edible at all. The only thing edible in the entire order was the garlic knots. So basically the only thing they're capable of doing is reheating bread from their supplier. Anything else you order is going to be horrible food that you'd be ashamed to serve anyone visiting your house.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants since 2005. The previous two times I was here I was disappointed. This time sealed the deal. I’ll go to nearby Maggiano’s in the future. Why? We arrived about 12:15. There were two occupied tables and 3 wait staff who all walked by us a few times without saying anything. It seemed like we were intruding. I thought about leaving then. Yet decided I’d time them. At 15 minutes finally someone came and asked about our party size. Just 6. She said she’d go prepare a table. Rather than pull together two clean unoccupied 4 tops she proceeded to clear a recently used table and pull it together with another 4 top. It is now 25+ minutes waiting for a table. We ordered our usual meals. I ordered one of my normal gotos. It came out cold and the side of foccacia(?) seemed stale. Was this a leftover from a previous order earlier in the day, or last night? Everyone at the table commented and agreed that you never knew anymore hoe your food would appear. Plus everyone commented that the tomato and cheese sauces seemed different from what we’d come to expect. No drink refill offers. No check to ensure the food was ok. Time to pay the bill. Aha! 15 minutes more to flag down our server who had disappeared. I generally do not post negative restaurant reviews. I just don’t return there. However, I am stunned and disappointed about the decline in service and food quality here.
Definitely not the Bertucci’s I remember. Place was grungy and run down. We ordered fried mozzarella (good), rigatoni with pesto and vegetable (well flavored but badly underseasoned) , pasta pomodoro (meh), macaroni and cheese (bland, very little cheese, dry and underseasoned), and chicken gratinati (my favorite from old days but no more - came out bathing in oil/butter, burnt, and very dry). Salads that came with meals were fine. We were there for daughter’s homecoming so she wanted tiramisu for dessert. It came out frozen. For $140, ridiculously underwhelming! Wait staff was ok, but overrun and staffing too many tables per server which caused delays in refills and forgotten items (salads).
