Nice setting, interesting surroundings. Extensive food, and drink choices. Good service and food was very well presented and satisfying. Prices competitive, will definitely visit again. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Ample serving and very good.

In Springville on business and stopped in for lunch. Glad we did as we had excellent service and amazing food. Best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had and delicious burgers. Highly recommend!

When we first walked into JP’s you don’t know what kind of place your in, is it a cowboy bar or as the name says a Pub. Well it is nether. A little to expansive to be a traditional Pub and they close so early to be a Cowboy Bar, but that’s not a bad thing. The serving staff are friendly, the menu is straight forward, I had the beer battered fish, and my son had the Cowboy Bourbon Burger. The prices weren’t crazy, with Drinks a beer and a pop under $50.00 for us both all in all it is a good place to eat, the only draw back is why close so early at 9:00pm it seems your missing out on Friday nights.

Although JD's brewpub is not close to our house, we find ourselves going there whenever we are in the area. Nice selection of food that is always good and a nice selection of drinks available. During the warmer times the outdoor seating is nice and a play area for the kids. Inside has a seating area and a bar area with tvs. The service is always been great. Will continue to go when we can as we enjoy the restaurant.

Was greeted and seated quickly, lots of snowmobile riders were stopping in. Pleasantly surprised that the chicken tender appetizer was served with 4 huge tenders, well spiced for "mild"; can't image what " medium" or " hot" would be like. I recommend the chicken wrap with dried cranberries and apple chunks, very tasty. Best item was the sweet potato fries, cooked to absolute creamy perfection, and served with a yummy honey butter dipping sauce.

This is our go to place when we ski Holiday Valley. Although we only visit in connection with our nephews ski races. We've been back each year for 3 years. Food is good and abundant. Can get a little noisy, but not obnoxious.

Amazing as always. Great, clean, friendly atmosphere. We are still fairly new to the area and this is our favorite place to go out for dinner. We have tried several things and have yet to find an appetizer or dinner that was less than amazing!

Portions are HUGE, and food is delicious. They have classics like burgers, delicious healthier foods, some specialty items like fried pickles, and entrees befitting a home cooked meal palette. And, they host volleyball leagues. Workers are kind and patient. I have only been there once though.

My favorite spot for Sunday lunch at the bar. Great folks, fast and kind service and a wonderful menu.

We discovered JDs Brew Pub, when looking for a good fish fry. Their fish fries are delicious, flavorful, and melt in your mouth. Highly recommend!

My hubby and I went here to celebrate our 10 yr wedding anniversary, recently. The food was great, and our waitress was amazing! The over all atmosphere was great too. We highly recommend coming here!!

It was our 1st time there. The food was excellent. They offer basic hamburgers, sandwiches, wraps, soup, and salads. Everything was cooked the way we asked. The waitress was funny, engaging, and helpful. Nice casual atmosphere. We will definitely go back soon. And will recommend to our friends.

Service is very good. The food is great. Nice atmosphere. You can take the family. No problems with my little service dog, Alex. Lots of tables and comfortable chairs. It is a bit expensive, but all of the restaurants are having to increase prices. Lots of parking.

Perhaps the best fish fry I've ever had

My husband is literally the hardest man to please at any food establishment. Its the one thing id change about my 9.9/10. He gave this place a 10/10 and it was sooooo nice to finally sit thru a meal without hearing him B&M about this or that. Haven the waitress was so pleasant, food was amazing, we went on the Friday night before the 4th of July and were seating and served within a few moments. Definitely our new go to!

Love this place. Easy access for my Dad in his wheelchair. Staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make it a great experience. Food is fantastic and comes with a flare. Bar food / comfort food on steroids! Prices are fair. Good size servings. Bar is also quite well stocked with many favorites. Nice atmosphere, clean and comfortable. I recommend you stop if passing by or in the area.

I stopped by yesterday to attend your 80s party with BOOMERANG. Great band, great atmosphere. The bartenders were all attentive and pleasant. I'll definitely be making a return trip.

Food was excellent along with the service at 4pm on a Saturday. Can't say much about peak hours but the food selection was mouth watering. Had a Mac n cheese burger that left me wishing for a bigger stomach.

I'd have to say this place is a lot better then the beginning. My friend and I went in for lunch and a beer during the afternoon. The bartender was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the beers available there. Even when I picked one without asking about it first, she helped me pick another. Her recommendation for food was spot on. I had the Mac and Cheese burger with bacon and my friend had the Pulled pork with tangy sauce. Also had to have the pretzel sticks, yummy! Both sandwiches were out of this world. Only regret was that she didn't ask how I wanted the burger done and I could have asked as well. Other then that great!

Incredible food! Best burgers and salads in town, the burgers are better than Red Robin...for real! Great atmosphere, clean, a great, welcome and much needed addition to Springville which lacks so much yet serves such a large surrounding area! Thanks Jeff and Dan! Update: At this point I'm not going to change my rating or opinion of the food, but I would like to caution them to be better prepared for a large group during lunch. My wife and I waited an enormously long time for our food because of a party of 20 out back. Tables were dirty. Food was still awesome, but if we receive service like this again, then I'll change my rating and the choice of where we eat. Hoping this is a one-time fluke.

First time here so had lunch with my parents & a family friend. All kinds of food options! We had burgers & a lunch special turkey & swiss sandwich, very yummy!!!! They make their own turkey!!! Friendly staff & clean restaurant. Next time we are going to try dinner!! Yes, there will be a next time!!

My husband and I stopped here on our drive back from our honeymoon in Buffalo. A local suggested we stop at JD's for our dinner. The experience could not have been more amazing. My husband has migraines, so first we were seated outside. We enjoyed our little private area until the sky opened up, pouring down rain. We moved inside when we could. The wait staff were tremendously accommodating towards finding a lower lit area for my husband's comfort. They were also very attentive to my unfortunately long list of allergies. The food was absolutely delicious. We both remarked several times that we wished we lived in regular distance of JD's, just for the fries alone. It was good enough that we ordered second meals to go, to have our next day on the road. Both held up quite well. We are planning another trip to Buffalo in the summer. We have made sure we're hitting Springville both ways.

Our roast beef on wick was delicious, along with sides of onion petals and garden salad. No coffee refill. Service was medium slow and no receipt for payment. Might go again when they weren't so busy.

Went here for Valentines day with my wonderful father. The Alfredo and the Seafood Bisque were phenomenal!!! Have been here multiple times before- My daughter absolutely loves the fried mini tacos. Also the February drink specials were so cute and the Lovers Lane mule was delicious. Hailey is amazing as always and Sammi, who was training while serving, was very attentive and brought everything out at the perfect time and temperature. My water cup was never empty and the place was cleanly as well!

Amazing time. Went with my dad while in town for a car show. I had the berry blue salad with chicken. Amazing, big portions. All the food coming out looked incredible. Atmosphere was amazing. My dad said he wants to come back as well.

In the town for an overnight, my hotel recommended JD's for dinner. I sat at the bar to relax after a long drive and enjoyed awesome service. This is a relaxed atmosphere of a hometown favorite. I ordered a salad - my standard dinner treat but changed it up considerably from the menu offering. My request was accepted without a flinch and the outcome was amazing. Having had two weekends of marginal salads at chain facilities in other areas I was more than surprised to have a wonderful dinner with kind service!

We were visiting from out of state and asked a local to name the best restaurant(s) in Springville. JD's was one of two he recommended. JD's was excellent. The log-cabin-theme exterior is carried through the interior with the chairs and tables made from branches and tree trunks. The menu has a perfect variety. The service was professional, appropriately attentive and accommodating. And the food was delicious. I ordered a side of chips not knowing they were made on site and found them amazing. So glad we ate here. You will be, too.

Stopped in JD’s Pub after walking out of a different restaurant that we had a bad experience at. The waitress we had was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the cowboy bourbon burger with sweet potato fries and beet the heat burger with onion petals. Both meals were great. The burgers were juices and full of flavor.

Beyond impressed with the rueben here it was perfect!!! No wonder they call the chef the rueben master, they aint lyin!! And the fact that they have onion petals on the menu brings this spot high up on my GO TO list. Ill be a regular!!

Went on a Saturday night and chose to have dinner and drinks at the bar. The bartender (forgot her name but she had longer blonde hair) was absolutely the sweetest and really attentive. Visiting from upstate and this was probably the friendliest establishment I have encountered in the area. Food was amazing too

Great flavors. I asked for a medium raw burger, but it came medium to well. I didn't send it back bc the flavors were amazing. Also the Cuban my bf had was amazing!!!! Love the smoke in it.

I had the battered fish fry which was delicious. The fries were delicious Mex sell. It was delicious. Coleslaw was nasty. All you tasted was vinegar. My cousin had tater tots and fries gravy and their cheese. He didn't like the cheese but I love the cheese. It was delicious when we were ready to go I asked for so I can take it home. They gave me the stuff, put it in there. Then I asked for a bag. We have no bags. She says right there is a downfall. I had to go to the car and go get me a bag just to bring my stuff home. That's ridiculous. They should have base for people they atmosphere. I don't know it's a restaurant for that one. JD, it was okay. It's a bar and a restaurant so I could just say it's okay. The parking was good for me for handicap. Nice person that seats you and the waitress. I had to go get her just to get something to drink or I had to get her for a so I can put our food in our stuff. They don't come to you right away or check on you too often. That's another downfall for me. It was very loud inside everybody was talking. It was probably because of the bar over there on the side but it was too loud for me. You couldn't even hear the music. So why do you have music if you can't hear it inside was very clean. Tables and chairs were clean and yes I would go back in there for a fish fry because it is really cheap. It is only 14.99 and that's worth it

Went there for dinner and country line dancing. Had a burger - was delicious and fries were great too. Took the waitress 10-15 mins to bring just our drinks, on all occasions. Country line dancing was a great time. They played a lot of none country music though.

Got there at 3 on a Sunday, not many people in there eating. Took about 20 mins to get a drink order, food came out pretty quick after we ordered. The tables in there look really cool, but our top was cracked and uneven. I had a fresh untouched beer slide off and smash on the floor. Staff cleaned it up quick. Inside the cracks of the wooden table top you can see tons of old food and dirt. Food was okay, service was very slow. This tends to be the theme every time we go

Most of the food here is pretty good. I wouldn’t recommend the fish fry though. I’ve had a couple of times. The first time it was bad. I thought maybe I caught them on a bad night so I tried it again. The second time was worse. I made the mistake of taking home the leftovers and the truck stunk for a week.

Food was great. Server was very short and seemed hurried. Besides the few at the bar we were only people sitting at a table.

Really great place. Good food and a lot of beer choices. My only gripe is that someone needs to tell the guy running the grill the difference between "some pink" and "no pink". Every burger we've ever ordered has been over done despite ordering medium. Regardless, its still very good!

Bartender was great. Very friendly and helped me out with my drink selection. I got the mac and cheese burger- it was good but plain, I wish I would have got a slice of cheese on it. Mac n cheese was very dry. My mother got a fish fry m- no complaints but the cole slaw was terrible, and my father got wings that were out of this world. Over all the place was great and I would definitely come back.

We generally like the food and atmosphere here, but they seem to be using frozen French fries instead of the fresh cut ones we remember enjoying here. My Pittsburgh steak salad was pretty good, but my husband's BBQ brisket was a little lackluster tonight.

Food was good. I ordered the Mac Daddy burger. I would give 5 stars but I ordered the burger with no pink, when it came there was quite a bit of pink to where it leaked to the bun. Portions are very good for the price. The wife ordered the fish fry and it was huge.

In town for a wedding and JD's was recommended to us. The food was really good and was different than what you might find in a standard pub. Plenty of seating and space at the bar. Service was slow but the staff was friendly.

Stoped in here for a quick lunch with the wife, nice local bar in town, I ordered a blue moon and the wife a blueberry mule. Both were fresh and tasty , food was tasty and not bad priced. Pool table and sports were on at the bar. Overall nice quaint bar.

Stopped in on a weekend for lunch. Atmosphere is great, staff are friendly, everything is very clean. We got a good variety of food, but The food is just okay. A little on the pricier side than you’d expect for a pub. They have a very nice outdoor area which is also pet friendly. Would come again.

The burger was nice and thick and was good tasting, but a bit overcooked as it was not served pink as ordered. Our sweet potato fries and hash browns were crispy and both tasted really good. The roast beef was served thinly sliced and had a small cup of aus jus that was appreciated. Both the burger and Kimmelweck rolls were good and held up to the sandwiches. There was plenty of parking and bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed our meal in a casual environment. There is a sand volleyball court to enjoy on warmer days. We'll be glad to stop again.

Prices were really good. Fish was big enough to be shared in 2. However salads (mac salad and coleslaw) legit had zero flavor. Like none. Flat and all you could taste was either the cabbage or noodles. Fries were seasoned great though. Also had the provolone sticks, which were good. Waitress was unclear when asked questions, never seemed to listen and wasn't that friendly. It was very loud inside as well. More then expected. I was disappointed w my drink and barely touched it and was still charged too. Every time we needed something someone different brought it out. Wait time was over an hour just for food. 30 mins for appetizer. 5 min wait for table.

Was here with a few friends, we all had burgers. The burgers were good, but you would think they would have been hot coming out of the kitchen, they were warm at best. I had the Mac-Burger, a burger with cheesy macaroni on top of it. It was messy, but tasty. The fries were good, hotter than the burger.

The burger had good flavor, but the kitchen couldn't even make one of their menu burgers as it is listed on the menu. They forgot to add the condiments listed. The burgers were a little pricey for what you get. I didn't get the wings, but they looked very good. I would give this place a second chance. The server and the bartender were very friendly

Not as good as previous visits. Not consistent with how they make their food. We ordered Reubens and there wasn't much meat on it. This is the second time. When we first had them they were an awesome sandwich that brought us back but since then it hasn't been the same.

My burger was good, but very sloppy. I thought the portions were huge, too much for me personally. If I had to eat there again, I would, but it's not a place I would seek out to go again.

Ordered the apple berry blue salad last week and it was the best salad I've ever eaten. Everything cut up in small pieces and honey mustard vinegarette was delicious. Lots of blueberries, apples and cheese. Nice sized portion. Ordered it again today with steak. Arrived and all veggies including the lettuce were huge pieces and no apples. Nothing chopped up and steak was cold. Much smaller portion.Strong mustard taste this time. We were in a hurry so mentioned it when I was leaving as it was not the waitresses fault. For $19 I won't order it again. I hate when you love the food and it's not the same when you come back.

Our server was great and attentive. He continually checked in on us. The pretzel sticks with the dipping sauce were the best part of the food here. I ordered a cowboy burger with fries and an alcoholic beverage. There was nothing necessarily wrong with my drink, just not my cup of tea. The burger, however, I thought lacked flavor in the patty itself as well as the house made bbq sauce. It was extremely loud in there, and it was difficult to hear our conversation. It was a Monday at 5 pm. I would go back for the pretzel sticks and to possibly try sometimes else on the menu to see if it's any better.

Over all the food was pretty decent. However my husband ordered a cheeseburger plan eitj bacon on it and it came back with mayo on it. They just brought it to the kitchen scraped off some of the mayo and put new cheese over top. When I told the waitress that my husband won't eat it she argued with me. She did take it off the bill but my husband did not eat. Then I ordered a steak quesadilla for my daughter and it came back as chicken. The waitress then argued with me again. I understand mistakes happen but the way she responded was rude.

Over 20 visits the last few years and loved this place but the last couple visits have been bad. Had the Lil Piggy sandwich today and it was basically a grilled cheese. Maybe 2oz combined of cole slaw and pulled pork. Ate half and it was all cheese. Bartender asked if I wanted a box and I said no thank you because it was bad. Explained that it had no pork on it and she just took it back and gave me my bill. She was pleasant but really didn't seem to care. Still tipped 25% but definitely shouldn't have. Not gonna give less stars because of a couple bad trips because ive had a lot of good meals but this will definitely make me think twice about going back.The lack of care really says a lot.

A bit pricey. Many items have an additional charge to add fries. We should have all sent our French Onion soup back. It was lukewarm at best--cheese was hardly melted. We were disappointed with pur experience.

Food is always good. Our waitress was great. I have an issue with walking into a place with 15 open tables and told I have to wait 15 minutes for a table. I'm not a restaurant/ bar owner but I do know some common sense stuff. If you seat someone and they have to wait for food they usually won't mind if they have a drink. In the end the customer is happier and you put a few more dollars in the register. This has happened to me several times now and it makes me absolutely crazy.

Terrible wait time to even get our drink orders. The rodeo burger was too sweet, hardly any savory to balance it out. It was also unclear how to pay the bill, whether to go up and pay or give to the server at the table and wait for change. We'd probably still be there if I'd waited for the server.

Rating based on their “Brew Pub” claim. The food may be great but I just stopped in for a beer. I asked for a beer list and the bar tender pointed at the tap handles. I asked a few questions about the selections and she said “I don’t know. I don’t drink beer”. Beautiful place otherwise.

Probably won't go back anytime soon. Went with a party of eight, and we wanted the checks split four ways for each couple. Was told they could do it for a party of six but not eight. I tried to explain to the waitress that every other restaurant around would split the check, but she didn't want to hear it. I asked her to tell the manager that this should be changed, but all she could say is sorry and that she doesn't make the rules. She had the nerve to tell us that they have an ATM or we could use Venmo to split the check amongst ourselves. At the very time this was happening, the bar was lined with individuals all with separate checks. Their policy is ludicrous. I don't understand why customer service is such a hard concept for some businesses.

Friday night dinner the Place was busy, We Never got a table. Staff looked overwhelmed and angry. After waiting for 15 minutes standing by the door we finally were told it would be another 15-20 minutes. We decided to leave. As busy as they were It Must be good but we wouldn't know.

Not the best place to eat! My pulled pork wasn't done . Way to loud couldn't talk with my friend who sitting across from me. Wasn't very enjoyable at all! Couldn't wait to leave! For a blood Mary 10.00! It's definitely not a place for kids or a sit down meal! More like a crowded bar! Bad language and loud! Not what I had expected!

We went to JD's to try something new on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated immediately. However, no one came over to us. Another group came in and were immediately sat, then the waitress began taking their drink orders even though we were there first. We waited approximately 5 minutes, still no service so we walked out. What a terrible experience. We complained before we left but no one apologized or took responsibility for the lack of customer service. We will not be returning to this establishment.

Went here after working all day. Got there a little after 9pm for a meal because we've had good dinners here before. The bar tender had already left, and kitchen was closed even though they show they're open to 10. We called Zoar Valley who said it happens quite a bit there and told us to come there instead. Had a nice meal with great people. From here on out I'll be going to Zoar. The staff doesn't try to get you out the door quick, the food was amazing and the people are nice to talk to.

We have been to JDs a few times in the past and have always had a good experience. Tonight half way through our dinner the check was brought to our table and was advised of a shift change and brought a box and said we could continue to stay but needed to cash out. Not impressed with the service at all. And if not for my wife a tip would not have been left at all.

The food is great the service not so much halfway through the meal they asked if we want a dessert and a to go box and then brought out the check when we siad we were not done eating and not to rush this wouldn't be so bad, but it seems like this is a service we every time we go there recently. Someone also added a twenty dollar gratuity 3 people to the bill
