First time coming to Applebees and love it! My serviré was Romeo and he was totally nice love his patience with us too

Had an excellent time great food good atmosphere and the person who made it all possible for me and my girlfriend was Romeo great service attentive and always asking if we need anything.

I came this evening after work for just a bit of a wind down, and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jimmy the bartender he was awesome. He got me through my evening with hot food drinks, and plenty of entertainment. If you have not been blessed to meet him yet. You need to come on over to the fountains, location and pay him a visit Because of him I will definitely be back

Went for a late dinner after 9:30pm. It was pretty quiet and getting a table was a breeze. Our wait mer was very funny and pleasant. I don’t recall his name now. It took us sometime to get our drink but maan the spicy Mango margarita was just delicious. Also had the Blackened Cajun Salmon which done perfectly. I will definitely recommend this place to others and definitely come back.

I've seen unfavorable reviews for this particular location, but I had a totally different experience. Our waitress, Porsha, was extremely nice and gave her opinions on what to order when I was trying to make a decision. She was very pleasant aand accommodating. The food was seasoned well and the unlimited wings were surprisingly delicious! We will be returning soon!

The boneless wings were soooo good, many flavour options to choose from. Staff was so kind & patient, they were so busy but so kind & helpful regardless of that. Also a favorable mention was how CLEAN the restaurant was, such clean tables and floors they were glistening at me! A+ i will be back weekly!!!!

I visited on a Sunday afternoon and was able to get a table within a few minutes. The food was flavorful and tasted fresh. My server checked on my table and kept my water glass full. I have visited this location a few times and keep coming back because it's always consistent.

Very clean, well cared for location. Let me say this before anything else...this location was super well run! The staff was all polite, organized and focused on the customer experience. Not often I can that right now but top to bottom a well oiled machine. Seated quickly and politely by a young man with a deep voice that actually took the time to ask about our kids and if we need a high chair or booster seat. He also ensured we had utensils...a pretty big deal for us. After being seated our server was with us in moments to get our drink order and care for us. She was polite and friendly even though her section was busy. She got our drinks to us and then got our food order placed. Food was hot, fresh AND accurate. Our kids orders were correct and my spouse's was also. Refills were cared for at a decent pace and most importantly our youngest child was not without a full cup. We ended out by allowing our children to order dessert and the server was polite and got the dessert order back to the kids very quickly. Check was provided in a timely manner and to go boxes came back with my credit card. Not an Applebee's person normally and I can say if all Applebee's are run this well they will become a stop more regular for us.

While on vacation with my family, we had dinner there and the customer service was amazing, food was nice and hot, delicious and my margarita was great. Restrooms were very clean too! 10/10 from arrival to departure! Can’t wait to visit again!

We haven’t been to Applebees in years but Austin our bar tender/server provided excellent customer service and was attentive to our order. The food came out timely and was hot. The bar area was clean and an extra plus was the Saturday football games were playing. We will definitely be back again.

My family of 7 and I recently went to Applebee’s for dinner, and we had such a great experience! Our server, Asia, was absolutely amazing. We hadn’t seen her there before, so we’re guessing she might be new, but you would never know it by the way she handled our table. She had such a charming smile and a genuinely positive attitude the entire time. Asia was very attentive, made sure we had everything we needed, and checked on us consistently without being overbearing. Even with a larger group like ours, she stayed organized and professional. The food was delicious. I ordered the chicken parmesan fettuccine with an Emerald Escape, and both were 10/10.

Robin made our family dinner something to remember. We came in as a big, chaotic party with lots of kids, multiple adults, and the kind of energy that can overwhelm a restaurant. From the moment he saw us he was calm, cheerful, and completely on top of everything. He provided us with drink refills so well we didn’t have to ask once, checked in at just the right times, and kept the whole table smiling with warm, funny conversation. What stood out most was how genuinely kind he was. When my grandmother needed help getting up, Robin was there immediately and handled it with tenderness and respect. The kids thought he was so sweet they started giggling when he brought out ice cream, which only made the moment better. He balanced professionalism and personality perfectly. He was attentive without hovering, friendly without being intrusive. As we left I even watched him hold the door for incoming guests, the same thoughtful behavior he showed us. If this is how he treats every table, he’s not just an excellent server, he’s an ambassador for the restaurant. Robin deserves a raise, an award, and all the praise you can give. He gets 5 stars and our heartfelt thanks. We’ll be asking for him next time we dine at Applebees!

Took my parents to lunch today. The food was good. Our waiter, Robin was the best. He was very personable, very friendly. We never had to call him for anything. He was always checking on us. It made lunch very enjoyable to chit chat with him. The only issue we had was it was a bit cold in there and they had the music too loud. It was hard to talk to each other. If you go, ask for Robin. We have been here twice in 2 months and have gotten the same waiter- Ricky. He has been exceptionall each time and has made our dining experience very pleasant and memorable. The food has been tasty on both occasions as well. We usually get there an hr to hour and a half before closing and are neither rushed nor made to feel like we are inconveniencing them like has happened to us at other restaurants. I really thought Apple 🍎 B was closed down but that was not the case.. We came for lunch last Saturday and had such a great time! From the start, Michael greeted us with a big smile that instantly made us feel welcome. 3 of us came here this past Thursday right before 5pm toi get an early dinner before going to the Smart Financial Center for a concert. Fred was our waiter and he was courteous, smiling and overall did a great job with our drinks (non-alcoholic), appetizer & Entree. Apparently they had just changed the Alcohol menu because I asked about a blue frozen drink they were advertising. He didn't know the answer so he went to go find out for me, which I appreciated the attempt, however not even the bartender knew what was sopposed to be in it. PARTY FAIL ON MANAGEMENT! Putting out a new menu, there should be training from the top down to the last person hired before releasing it. I don't blame Fred, I kinda could blame the bartender but not info information, however I TOTALLY blame management. There is not an Applebees on our side of town and my husband and I used to go often. The food was great so the Cheff's fod a great job! We had the Spinach & Artichoke dip as an appetizer, it was hot, cheesy and yummy! All 3 of us loved our meals!

On our way in there were a group of people on their way out. The general consensus was that the bartender was rude! My sister and I both had the grilled chicken breast and shrimp. The side dishes were mashed potatoes, side salads, and a cocktail. The first drink that I ordered, I had to send back. Once we finished our meal we tried to get our bill so that we could pay and leave. However, the bartender took our order, so none of the other waitresses could total out our bill. We had to let her (bartender) know more than once after a timely wait that we were ready to leave the restaurant. And we weren't too impressed with overhearing her tell the other wait staff "can't you see I'm busy". I had no problem with waiting for her to prepare a few drinks, but at some point her actions started infringing on my time. I'm busy too!

I had such a wonderful experience with our waiter today. He was attentive, kind, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout our visit. When my baby became a little fussy, he went out of his way to bring her some oranges, which instantly made her smile (and mine too!). It’s rare to find someone who not only provides excellent service but also goes above and beyond to make guests feel cared for. Truly outstanding service!

Good place, friendly staff, you feel welcome. Fast service, good food for a reasonable price. Nice and good music in the background, not too loud so you can still hear yourself think and you can have a conversation easily. Went there 2 times in 1 week because of the positive experiences. Comfort food, but also healthy options, like a steak with fire grilled veggies. Had a steak with the veggies this time and the chicken and shrimp earlier. Both I recommend.

Overall a good experience. My chicken was good, but it tasted slightly fishy to me. My drink, the Mardi Gras prickly pear one, was great. Menu needed to be wiped off. Barbecue sauce. Music not for me, but not objectionable.

We decided to have dinner here because it was late and we knew Applebee's was still open. It was busy but the service was pretty good and prompt. The food hit the spot since we were really hungry. The quality is everything you can expect from Applebee's. The Fountains location is nice at night. After dinner, you might want to hang out a bit on the promenade, take a few photos, and enjoy the view of the freeway and the lake with the lights reflecting on the water. You'll also get treated to the live music performance that's playing from The Pub next door.

The place is a little run down - the booth seats are mostly collapsed which makes them a bit uncomfortable. The staff is great and the food is good. The music is a bit loud. I am a return customer because they do offer some great lunch specials if you are eating with two people or more.

First my server Joe was amazing. Though I ordered the mozzarella sticks and something blue was inside one. My meal was great and I assume a ripped glove gross but a glove at least. Now I told Joe and he was apologetic but informed me after the KM said that it was something from the sugar. After paying i requested to speak with the GM but the KM was standing in. He couldn’t even come to me and acknowledge or apologize for the error. Then on top of that when i asked his name he refused to tell me. Thankfully a helpful female server told me it was Oscar. I’m not happy about the service he showed today especially since chilis was closer.

We were here visiting and decided to eat at Applebee's because just about every other restaurant that wasn’t fast food was closed. We were at The Fountains so it gave us nice scenery. The girls enjoyed it and we decided to eat outside. The food came out in a decent amount of time. I asked if onions were in my food and was told the guacamole didn't have onions, then I asked if there were onions in the corn I was told no but there were. I was disappointed in that.

That is NOT even close to the quality of cut advertised on their menu. Especially not for $23. It's thinner than the pic shows here. More like a skirt steak. Took a chance & failed. Go to a real steakhouse for the same price. Was $102 for 3 ppl. Appetizer, burger, "steak", chicken alfredo, 3 drinks. The chicken alfredo has always been my 'goto' there before. I won't deviate again.

Our waiter, Austin, was hands down the best part of our entire experience. Unfortunately, the rest of our visit left much to be desired. We waited over an hour for our food, while guests who arrived after us were served well before us. When our meals finally came out, they were served at different times, which extended our visit to over two hours. While the food itself was delicious, it would have made a big difference if all of it had arrived together. The kitchen clearly needs better coordination. We also had a negative interaction with a waitress—she wore glasses and had curly hair in a ponytail—who brought out the wrong dish and was dismissive and unhelpful when we expressed our concerns. In contrast, Austin recognized our frustration, stepped in, and went above and beyond to make things right. His professionalism, empathy, and work ethic truly stood out. He even made an effort to connect with the children in our group, which meant a lot to us. For management: customer-facing staff should be trained to respond to complaints with understanding, show initiative, and provide solutions. Also, the hostess should avoid double-seating a section so heavily, especially with large parties like ours (we had a group of nine). Despite the rocky experience, we still paid our bill—largely because of Austin. He handled a difficult situation with grace and ensured we left on a positive note. He is the sole reason we will consider returning. Way to go, Austin — you’re amazing!

Dirty silverware and dirty floor. Our server, Bobby R, was nice but forgot the breadstick that came with my wifes Chicken Alfredo. Food was OK. I had a 10 Oz steak and it was fine. Mashed potatoes were a little dry. Overall it was meh. Not somewhere I would go again. Another customers kid was rolling on the floor and running around the tables. Annoying.

The restaurant only had about 3 tables occupied. We waited about 5 minutes for the hostess to seat us. The place smells very musty due to the nasty carpet in the dining area. The paint on the walls near the table were chipping off and looked horrible. The restaurant looked a bit dirty. The service was decent although just a personal pet peeve my drink was empty for a bit if time before being refilled while our server was sitting down watching football. Service was SLOW and they weren't very busy. We had to ask multiple times for water refills and condiments. They don't sing the birthday song even for someone's 95th or even offer her a free dessert (that's where my grandma picked, I would have picked someplace better). All you can eat chicken wings are NOT wings. It's chicken nuggets in sauce. An appetizer of real wings is $16.99 and you get like 8. Their burgers on the 2 meals for $25 are TINY. Burger Truck at Cook and Bissonnet will give you the same size burger with more (and better seasoned) fries in the kids meal for $6. If that is truly their entree burger, it is a rip off. As you will see in the photo I attach, the burger was literally not much bigger than a pack of mustard. Ordered margaritas, mine was supposed to have sugar and my grandma's salt on the rim, I got salt which ruined the whole drink for me. She got sugar. Complained to the waitress and she shrugged at me. Terrible terrible service, tiny portions, overall bad experience. Your money would be spent better elsewhere. Our bill was over $150 for 5 people and not one person at our table was happy with the portions or the flavors

We stopped in for dinner and the place wasn’t crowded, but you’d never know it from the service. Getting the staff to do anything felt like pulling teeth. After placing our drink order, it took about 10 minutes for them to finally arrive. When we were ready to order food, our waitress was nowhere to be found—we had to ask another staff member just to track her down. The food eventually showed up, and we asked for extra napkins. Halfway through the meal, we still didn’t have them and had to flag down yet another employee. Thankfully, those napkins came quickly. The bill, however, was delivered promptly along with table clearing—but once again, we had to search for our waitress to cash out. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat in the area, I strongly suggest trying a different restaurant. I can’t imagine how overwhelmed this staff would be if the place was actually full—some folks might not even get served.

The appetizer broccoli and chips was very stale and just warmed up. The pasta was very sticky and none of the food was warm or hot. The waitress was in no hurry. The manager had to go and get the waitress because I put my dessert order in 20 minutes before. He went and found her and then she went to pickup the dessert order. The atmosphere was good. Everything else not satisfactory. No one seemed to be in a hurry, except to stand around and talk to each other. The items we ordered was the two for $25 one appetizer and two entrees. The dessert was the only thing that was warm and good.

The people are nice, but the wait times are kind of ridiculous. My little sisters food took an hour to be ready. The staff is very kind and even waived the price of the plate, but these wait times are just too long. It was for a birthday dinner so we usually start eating once everyone gets their food so everyone's food got cold waiting for my little sisters plate. I felt incredibly bad by the end of the night because the cost of dinner was around $100 and it did not feel worth it at all

Horrible food and service. Mold on the ceiling. Salty burger. Cold fries. Waitress was not nice at all.

We arrived at 5pm at Valentines day we waited so long and the food arrived 1 by 1 at 6pm and its cold the steak was so dry and our server was not helping or not come to ask if we need anything.!! POOR SERVICE and WORST PLACE TO EAT!!! DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!! SPEND ALMOST $200 FOR NOTHING!!!

My daughter and I went in Friday afternoon she's never been before we was escorted to our seat where we stayed sitting for over 20 minutes we wasn't asked if we wanted something to drink but the waiter was passing us up gave other customer to go container the bill everything very poor service

This Applebees is the personification of the phrase “you get what you pay for”… food was just as disgusting as the restaurant. Bread sticks, crumbs, and uneaten food all over the floor right when you walk in… of course I’m not expecting the food to look just like the menu photo because obviously it’s Applebees but jeez, four cheese pasta with out a cheese in sight… with a brown soup for the pasta to bathe in. Not forgetting to mention this mess took 40 minutes to come out. There wasn’t a point in asking for a replacement or different menu item because I don’t have another 40 minutes of my life to give. I won’t even comment on the shrimp dinner.

HOW DOES this place stay in business. (Please know Applebees corporate is aware and made 3 attempts to have the Franchise Owner address. All ignored. What does that say about this location? Others run by the same owner? Corporates ability to ensure their restaurants deliver?) This restaurant needs to help in every area: The floor and many tables needed cleaning. Service - our waitress could not be found after the order. Food prep - was poor. Check the onions out. Hard to make them any greasier! Service was crap...even after the manager became aware. Food was greasy especially the requested onion rings and strings. Manager concern? No!. Wrote corporate and got a nice response with no follow through. Corporate followed up not twice, but four times, but did nothing. The customer service reps would ask the same questions and never take the time to look at the history. Local management follow-up? No. Last $25 Applebees will see from us. Note that CORP replies stating ZFranchise will respond. Why would they given the prior 4 Customer Service Reps could not get it done? If one does NOT HAVE AUTHORITY, they cannot ensure it gets done. Better get someone in corporate that has AUTHORITY or nothing will get done as proven by history. NO, I won't copy and paste...repeat the 4-time failed process. If you want remediation to actually take place, take responsibility at CORP for my experience AND have the person with AUTHORITY deal with the Franchise!

Terrible night service. Arrived around 12:30 A.M and got sat down and took 15-20 minutes for a staff member to even notice no one took our order. Only ordered 3 drinks. One lemonade and two margaritas took another 15-20 minutes. Other statt just stared and chatted away as if nothing was happening. Already frustrated, we FINALLY got our drinks and other than the shot that can be added, the margaritas had no alcohol! I even overheard another staff member say to lock the doors 30 minutes before even closing. Manager was of ZERO help as he SAW us getting zero service but just stood near the register chatting away. Only good experience was the waiter who noticed us getting no service, very engaging and nice and offered recommendations. I overheard another customer even complain about no alcohol in their margarita to a waiter and another staff asked if they were ready for the bill and the waiter said yes when the customer was complaining about their drink. 0/5 would never go at night again.

Very Disappointing Service Yesterday we visit this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. We stood at the entrance for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us, even though it wasn’t busy. Our server was inattentive and rarely checked on our table. We had to flag someone down just to get water refills, and our food took an unusually long time to arrive. When it finally did, atleast 3 of the dishes was incorrect. And the food is cold Instead of apologizing, the server seemed annoyed and acted as if it was our fault. To make matters worse, manager took a long time came by address the issue, and we were still charged for the incorrect item until we pointed it out. Overall, the lack of professionalism and poor customer service overshadowed what could have been a pleasant meal. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re expecting decent service.

2/19/2026 my family decided to dine in since it has been a while since our last visit unfortunately this time wasn't the same as the last times we visited The food was horrible as if they just allow anyone who claims to have skills prepare food

I had the chicken bourbon and shrimp. The food tasted horrible—I took one bite and couldn't finish it.

The place was dirty on the floors and the food was overcooked and no flavor at all, please choose another place to eat, and of course this ia not a cheap place ao you can go to other places

My friend and I waited to order our food and drinks for over 20 minutes but multiple servers walked past us, and no one ever stopped to ask if we’d like anything or if we’d like to get started with some water. The booth next to us who were seated at the same time were able to make their orders and even get their food and drinks while we were left alone. We definitely made eye contact with servers so I’m pretty sure we aren’t invisible. The restaurant wasn’t super busy either. We ended up leaving. BJs is definitely better!

I came in today and specifically asked for fresh food and the manager gave me an odd look and mentioned how it was always fresh but lo and behold when I get my food it’s not fresh. It’s old and it’s very frustrating to me when I spend my money in specifically asked for it to be fresh and I’m more than willing to patiently wait that I have to get old food. Normally, I go to a different location and I don’t have a problem with them. Give me fresh food I just came to this one because I was over here, but I think that’s very disappointing that even after I asked you, you as a manager still gave me something old out the kitchen.

I am not a picky eater but the food was the worst I have ever had. The steak I ordered was raw in the middle, broccoli was soft and warm from the microwave. The pasta was something from the frozen section at Walmart. Stay away. Just plain horrible. I took one bite of the food and couldn't finish. Tasted stale. So bad.

We arrived at 12 for lunch and when opened the door were greeted by a sewage odor. The waitress who was not properly trained was struggling and no one was helping her. She wrote down the order and it took 35-40 minutes for us to get our food. 3 of us got our food and one didn’t. My colleague asked the waitress about this food her response she forgot to put in his food order in. We were 1 of only 3 other tables with customers. The food was good but the service was terrible! I ordered the pretzels and the triple trio with shrimp, wings & tacos. So after my colleague had no food he was still going to be charged for his drink until he asked to speak with a manager. The entire situation was unacceptable and the manager didn’t apologize or speak on it. Don’t know how that establishment is still in business. Not able to leave zero or no stars.
