PhởHolic in Stanton is a popular spot known for its flavorful pho and generous portions. Customers rave about the rich broth and fresh toppings. Be prepared for long lines and potential parking challenges during peak hours.
Tip: Be prepared for a wait, especially during peak hours, but many reviewers feel it's worth it. Order at the counter and find your own table.
Came here around 3pm for late lunch and was packed since also President's day weekend and weekend before Chinese new year's. The line to order was long but we ordered a out 20 mins later with good seat. They brought the Pho out pretty fast and the aroma was intense. The broth was not too heavy but not too light, and the meat and noodle was needless to say very delicious. It's in the rodeo 39 plaza also many other restaurants and shops for more eating afterwards!! Very convenient location, close to the 22 Fwy. Would come back again.
The best pho hands down! Im not lying! Pho realz! I get the number 2. Brisket and rare steak. And an order of ribs. A little hot oil, a lime wedge, and some hoisin sauce. I put all the stuff they bring to our table too. Oh my! It's amazing! A meal fit pho a king! Pho-gettaboutit! I've brought friends, my parents, my wife, my kids they all love it. Service is quick, food is delicious! Definitely worth it!
This place spoiled me because I can't eat pho anywhere else now. It's that good. They only serve pho there. No rice dishes, no spring rolls, etc. It comes in one large size bowl. Pick a bowl of your choice and pay $12 at front register and someone will seat you and bring the bowl to you. Enjoy it, then just get up and leave. Don't bother paying $15+ bowls of flavorless pho somewhere else. If you want chili oil, ask for it at the register. Good luck trying to ask for it from the waiters. We got ignored three times by three separate rude little asian men.. smh.. still giving the place five stars just for the food. It's that good 👍
The food is very delicious and the portions are generous. I eat here almost every day and I’m always satisfied. Definitely worth trying.
The broth is simply outstanding. I dont think no one work there speaks English. And they dont have Sriracha. There's a station by the exit door that you go to grab chili sauce, napkins, bag abd to-go plastic cup and lid. Almost self serve, therefore a three star for service. Atmosphere, nothing special. A typical pho restaurant atmosphere.
Pretty spot on Pho. Their bowl is large and could easily be split into 2 portions (take out). The amount of meat they put in is plentliful unlike some other places. Bonus points for plenty of parking spots and extra fresh herbs. This restaurant is pretty crowded and busy, so go early or do take out if you don't want to wait.
We came here yesterday but the line was super long, We decided to come back today, and let me tell you great decision! The lines moves super quickly so even if it's long, stay put! You pic what you want, grab a table and they bring your the food right out! This is some of the best pho I've had, and I've had plenty from different places. If you enjoy pho you have to try this place! Delicious! I got number 7, can't remember exactly what it was...ooopsy, it's super reasonably priced too. ENJOY!
Follow up visit after a few months: Went back again but this time with the family. Our little one eats very well and loves it. But I was thoroughly disappointed with the green color and old tasting beef tongue. First time: Food came out very quickly so I was happily surprised and a bit curious. Broth flavor is on point, seasoned well, not too salty and just enough variety of very subtle flavors. Steak meat was good quality and oxtail pieces while maybe small for some had enough meat on them to go along with the overall dish’s balance of ingredients. Good noodles and fresh basil 🌿 makes everything taste good. At a reasonable price of $12 (after tax and tip $13-14), Makes for a healthy meal that beats all the other America’s junk burgers and fried chickens. Don’t burn your money with those so you’ll have a heart attack later. Have pho! It’s much better for you.
Location is WAY better than their first branch. The broth is good.. Not way too rich but not water down either. I've eaten a LOT of pho in my life and sometimes I do feel sick of it from eating a large bowl but not here. They don't over do it with their broth and yet you can taste the fundamental ingredients. There is a small hint of sweetness though. Their noodles are cooked al dente style...they way pho should be cooked. Not mushy and soft. I think l will come back to try their other combinations.
This place makes the best pho in the world. I always order the pho combo with the flat noodles which comes with a large bowl of beef soup with an assortment of beef (tendon, beef, sausage, etc.). The bowl is actually pretty big and can be shared with another person. When you order for two, you also get an extra bowl of cooked meat to share. The pho comes with 3 condiments - slightly steamed bean sprouts, raw onions, and some Vietnamese basil leaves. You can also order pho with just one kind of meat like tendons, brisket, flank, steak and others. I visit Pho Holic at least once a month and my favorite place for pho. Dont be fooled by the long lines because they do move pretty fast.
Absolutely the best pho I have had in a very long time! The broth had the right amount of fat to it, was perfectly balanced and on the sweeter side. The noodles were tender. Meat was plentiful and soft, not tough. I like how the bean sprouts were served boiled and warm and marinated onions were served as well. Delicious! My only complaint is that parking is a pain and the line to order is extremely long. This place is busy and for good reason!
Service was pretty good. There was a line to get in but it moves fast and plenty of seating inside. Lots of limes, pickled onions, rare for a pho place. Also free ice tea and hot tea if you ask. Portions were large. Have the option for regular or wide noodle. Lots of meat in the pho. I finished every bit of my bowl which is rare given how big the portions were. Didn’t get the oxtail but the oxtail is the size of your head. Broth was good definitely from real bones. Communal seating and self serve options featured smaller bowls for kids and sauce cups and utensils.
Arrived here about 30 minutes before closing. We thought we were going to be 'those people ' that show up right before closing. There were people still in line when we showed up and some people even showed up after us. When you get to the front of the line, they take your order and let you know where to sit. There are a couple drinks that are free, hot tea is one of them (which I got). You take a seat and they bring your drink and the veggies (basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeno slices, and lime). Then they bring out the pho you ordered. Soon after. The broth was rich and flavorful. No one in our group added hoisin sauce to their broth. There was plenty of meat in the bowl, which is always welcome. I ordered the 'small noodles', which ended up being easily breakable (which I don't like). It may be because we showed up so late and they left the noodles out for a while. Someone else in the group ordered the 'big' noodles and those were fine. Nice and flexible as expected.
Excellent taste and portion size!! The pho at this place is legit, and I've noticed they've improved over the years, or maybe I've just had a series of mixed experiences. But really, the pho is excellent, and the thing I was most surprised about is just how much meat they give. It was a generous amount, especially given that this is one of the least expensive pho spots in Orange County. The line outside to order does get long during peak times, but if you go during off-hours, the wait is minimal to none, and the service is super efficient. Food came out within minutes every time I visited this location. There are options to dine inside or outside. I prefer to sit outside in the fresh air, and with either option, there's plenty of seating to accommodate groups of all sizes. It's no surprise that for a place that specializes in only 1 dish, this place is the best. The pho is even better than what I got in Ho Chi Minh City last summer!
Delicious broth, great value and cute atmosphere. I would come back in a heartbeat. I upgraded to oxtail pho and it was still only $15. We opted to sit outside and there was plenty of seating. Our food came out really quick too. Also, thought the Thai iced tea was perfect. Would like to try more dishes.
5.0 & none below!!! Price is right. Taste is great. Don't pay more at ritzier venues. Enjoy authentic pho prepared and served by legitimate Vietnamese staff all for under $15 out the door. Choose from a variety of over 15 styles of pho. Options available to customize bowl with additional ingredients.
Nothing to complain about PhoHolic at all! I love you! Their Pho is 10/10. Huge portion, high quality, and cheap price. My dinner cost me around $16 tax included. I shared a bowl of Pho with a friend of mine and we were both full after the meal. Staff members are so lovely and attentive. They always asked if I needed anything else. Please don’t forget to tip these lovely people! Also, try to come here before 6:00pm on weekends. They’re fully packed after 6 so. Will come back here for sure!
First time here and I got to say it was amazing! I got the brisket and steak Pho. You make your order and then they give you a number and you go find a spot to sit. Right away someone brought out the soup garnishes chopsticks and even sauce. They brought out my soup very quickly I don't think I waited more than 5 minutes. The bowl was huge! And very generous with the meat. I devoured the whole thing. Some of the best Pho in Orange County! I'm definitely coming back here and bringing my husband with me next time. The prices are very reasonable as well.
There are 2 dining-in options, you can either sit outside (foot court or patio with umbrella) or inside. If you opt to sit outside to avoid the long line, they will give you a stand with a Number. You would order and be paid upfront, find a seat you like and just relax the staff will bring your food to your table. We opt to sit inside since we have a senior in our group, the wait is about 15mins starting from outside the green bush wall. While waiting they brought out some winter melon drinks which were very refreshing. As we get closer to the entrance door, we would need to place our order and provide a name. Once we enter the door, we would need to pay, then they would assign a seat/ table number. Upon being seated they brought out a beef appetizer, it was very tender and flavorful. They later brought out separate plates of thinly sliced onions, bean sprouts, a rectangular plate with jalapenos, basil, lime wedges and culantro leaves. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the food was delicious. The big bone was a lot of fun to cut and eat. Not recommended for a 1st date. You can also ask them to quickly boil or blanch the bean sprout if you prefer.
There's a long queue when they open at 10a on the weekends but they take your order while you're in line and get a number. They'll bring your food to your table. Inside was packed and outside is just as nice and have more space and cooler. Phở is very tasty and plenty of meat. I really appreciated the fresh veggies and sauces including sliced onions and blanched bean sprouts.
Pho is always consistent! I don’t know why this location make you order first then sit down. Other location you get seated then order. The line was long and it was raining. Everyone in line got wet because people were taking forever to order. Atleast have a cover outside for us.
Great place for authentic pho! They specialize in only pho with quite a wide range of choice in meat, from “the beginner”, “the adventurer” to “the holic”, all at the price! You could also choose between thick or thin noodles. We ordered a #11, #12, additional back rib and bone with meat The steak was super tender, honeycomb was crunchy and the tendon had a super nice, soft texture The broth was also great, sweet and flavorful yet not too oily or over seasoned! The portion was also pretty generous, one of the best place for Pho!!
First time here and I must say it’s been awhile since I’ve had Pho this good. The broth is very good. Good sized portion. I personally wasnt able to finish mine. I feel like two people could share a bowl it and it would be perfect. We came around noon and had to wait about 20 minutes but definitely was worth the wait.
I'm from the Bay Area, but I've heard so much about this Phoholic in Orange County, so when I visit OC a few weeks ago, I took my family to try it out and it was as great as people complemented. There are 2 locations and my friends recommended the new location in Stanton which was supposed to be less crowded but it's still full of people waiting regardless of days or hours, it's amazing. We were in OC a few days and we had to come here twice because of the Pho and the prices. This one is sitting in a food court quite huge, the parking lot has plenty of spaces to park. The place is quite clean and the service is amazingly fast. Everyone pays as they entered and ordered the menu, so there's no bill or waiting inline to pay on the way out. If you missed something, you have to wait a long time to get it like my daughter wanted the boba drink of some kind after we finished our lunch. Let's talk about why it's so popular. The bowl of Pho is quite large, and I believe there are many sizes. The bowl full of meats and pho is only $9 and I didn't have to complain about the quantity or quality. I always like briskets and cooked meats, the meats were tender, full of fat, tasty and the fresh pho was perfect, the rare beef was quite tender. The soup was just right, enough flavors to be a great bowl of pho broth. Vegetable are fresh and plenty. Every order comes with Ice Tea if you preferred. The sitting can be outside or inside depends on the time of day and how crowded it is. We sat outside when the inside was full and sat inside when there were seats, either one has air conditioning which was quite comfortable on our hot days. This restaurant is a must for anyone who visit Orange County. We will definitely come back when we visit OC.
Pho here is great. Great value for the amount of food you get. Other places might skimp on the herbs and vegetables but, but here they are all present and fresh. It's veryyy busy in a Sunday morning, so expect a little delay as you wait for an open table. But once our family is seated, the service is very fast and efficient. The milk tea with crystal boba here is better than most milk tea shops I've tried. Overall very good experience. Would visit when I'm in Cali again.
Ok! So far to date, this is my ranked number 1 Phở in entire the USA!!! I have been around the country trying to find the right "Pho"-Real moment! And here it is, ladies and gentlemen, this is the best of them all! The broth is so rich, the noodles are made fresh, not dried and rehydrated like most other restaurants. You rarely see this type of combination in one place in the entire USA. I 👑 this place as my number 1 Pho restaurant in the USA
Everyone I know recommends this place for the best pho in Westminster. It's really is, the pho taste like the pho I had in Vietnam. I can smell the aroma second i steps into the area. However, my family didn't like it. Mainly they are too used to the American Pho ( not too strong flavor and didn't use grilled beef fat with grilled pho spice). Authentic Pho in Vietnam use this technique to bring out more flavor and strong aroma.
Pho Holic at Rodeo 39 Food Hall gets busy fast, just like every other Pho Holic in Orange County, but this location has its own twist. Since it’s part of the larger Rodeo 39 shopping and dining complex, you order and pay at the counter before grabbing a seat. It’s a different setup from the traditional Pho Holic experience where you’re seated, place your order with a server, and pay at the end. The food still comes out incredibly fast, which is exactly what Pho Holic fans expect. Within a few minutes, your pho or rice dish is ready and piping hot. One of the best perks of this location is its placement inside Rodeo 39, a popular spot with plenty of shops, dessert options, and other eateries, perfect if you’re making a whole outing out of your meal.
Great quality, very clean, they fixed the issues they have on their original location, so that means they are and will keep improving. Price is average in general, but more affordable if you compare it with similar high quality pho. Don’t expect world class customer service, people go there to eat good pho, not fur their warm charm. They have plenty of tables, and also bigger shared tables outside. Bathroom is actually clean for a place this crowded. This is on a little mall type of thing, finding parking can be challenging.
Sorry for the low quality photo, but I definitely recommend trying this restaurant! I like how they keep their menu simple, and their pho tastes exactly how you’d expect pho to taste—not too salty or sweet, but just the right amount of flavor and savoriness. I also liked how “introvert-friendly” this restaurant is, as you simply order at a register, pay, and then wait for them to bring you your food.
The pho here is delicious! Long wait, but in my opinion it is worth it! Once you get seated the service is pretty fast. Though you don’t get any personal server, the waiters run around to give you your food but don’t come by and check in if you need anything. This place is more updated and a larger area compared to the original restaurant. I recommend coming here early or on a weekday to avoid waiting in long lines.
The food is delicious, with well-balanced flavors and generous portions. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent prices for such good quality. The atmosphere is nice, and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely a place I highly recommend for anyone looking for great food without overspending. I’ll definitely be coming back!✨
This establishment is fantastic! It was my first time trying pho here, and it was a completely different experience. The meat was incredible, so tender it practically melts in your mouth. The beef ball was a pleasant surprise as well; it didn’t have the usual fat slices, just pure meat, which I loved. The broth was absolutely delicious. I could’ve easily just drank the broth on its own! The location is by far the best I’ve visited so far. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Waited in line approximately for 30 mins before we were able to get a table and it was a Tuesday. Once at the door, staff took our orders and paid before we sat down to speed up process I guess. Got the Holic #11 from their menu and it was pretty tasty. The pho broth had nice flavor, maybe a tad on the saltier side for me but still was a better tasting pho broth compare to other pho I’ve had in Cali. The best part was the meats. The #11 had a nice variety including steak, flank, tendon, and tripe that were cooked well and generously portioned. The noodles on the other hand was a bit overcooked for me. I like my noodles a little more bouncy but it was too soft for my liking. As I was eating my pho I was curious about the metal bowl that was served in. What is up with that and who came up with that idea? Kinda of a weird choice in opinion. Anyways, the food came out quick so that was nice but all the staff seems depressed for some reason. I guess if you serve pho long enough you get depress too.
The pho is good here. You order at the door, then grab a seat. Indoor seating starts at 8am, and outdoor around 10am. Be sure to check out Rodeo 39 next door.
Definitely an experience to try authentic Vietnamese pho and I was happy with the order. The broth is very flavorful and the noodles are so soft. Plenty of parking. You order with the cashier and have a seat. I personally prefer the pho spot I go to in Culver city (your phoavorite Vietnamese) because their broth is on the fresher side and they also have the chile I loveeeee. Still overall a good spot if your around the area. This would rank #3 in my Pho spots.
This restaurant is set up for faster service. So the interaction with the staff is at minimum, similar to a fast food restaurant. Another downside to this setup is that customers are not waited on after the food is delivered. After one placed the order with the host, one is given a number. One is free then to choose any available table. The atmosphere here is better, in my opinion than the one at the older location. The outdoor seating is nice. While I think the phở at this location tastes the same as the one at the original restaurant, my spouse believes the meat here looses its texture because it’s overcooked. All the different styles of phở come in only one size bowl: enormous. The broth is savory, the noodle on point. The condiments let one customize one’s bowl of phở: the herbs are fresh, the pickled onion offers an added dimension of taste. I will suggest a return to this restaurant when we are in this neighborhood.
Beef wasn’t as tender as expected for pho. But the soup tasted good and had sriracha (not sure if it’s authentic though). There is always a line here, but the service was fast. The employees handed out a brown sugar drink for people waiting in the line outside. It was pretty loud indoors with the amount of people. Would recommend sitting outside for more privacy and better speaking volume. Parking is usually bad at this plaza so would recommend street parking and walking after 11am for weekends.
I've tried the original location and enjoyed it. I have been meaning to try this location since it's bigger, but it's always busy. Came around 5:00PM and there were plenty of tables. This place takes your order at the register first, where you pay for everything first before sitting down at a table. The food tastes the same as the original place, which is a good thing, but they messed up our order. One bowl has small, thin noodles, while two had the flat, thin noodles, but they switched it around, which isn't that big of a deal. Overall, not bad. Same taste and flavor, but also seems more expensive.
One of the best Pho broths I’ve tasted, really knocks it out of the park on this front. We got a #4 and #9 and they were both good, the meat on the #9 was a bit underwhelming, but overall still good. My wife ate hers with ‘none of the fixings’ because she said, “You can tell it’s good because I don’t even need any toppings” Would love to try some of the higher level dishes!
Cleaner, bigger than the first location, but seems like you gonna lose something. Temperature for phở is right, you not gonna feel burn or too cold. PRO _Seems like this restaurant use Lanxangia tsaoko for the broth, sweet soup but naturally. _You have a lot of meats, 2 options for noodles types _ very tight place, Vietnamese vibe bro CONS _ one of my friend have stomach ache after having the oxtail, but I’m ok. So you should consider if you have weak stomach. Other than that, this 2nd location is great.
The wait here is absolutely ridiculous because it’s good. The parking is even worse as it shares a parking lot with the gym. Ultimately, service is quick. You pay b4 you eat and leave when you’re done. The ambiance is cool. Typical of a phot restaurant. Has nice indoor and outdoor space. Best of all, it’s connected to rodeo 39 and there are all sorts of goodies i there. First time ordering a tropical drink and it was great. Highly recommend, just be aware of long waits.
This place is strategically located inside Rodeo 39 in the heart of Garden Grove. This is a more modern, hip, and so Gen Z setup Pho restaurant I have ever been. It gets busy, so be prepared to stand in line. Menu is posted by the door so while you're line, you can think about what you will have. You order from the front desk upon entering the restaurant. You can customize the noodles you want in your pho - regular or flat noodles, a question I wasn’t asked at any pho restaurant I've visited. They'll give you a number and you have a choice where you dine in. Seating area can be inside or outside. There's plenty of seating area outside or even inside the main food court of Rodeo 39. As popular as this place could be, I wasn't too impressed with the food. I ordered #11 with tendons and tripe. The broth was flavorful but it was lacking the fullness of flavor that I have come to love. It’s all about the broth. The meat and veggies are just supporting characters. I added my hoisin sauce and hot sauce to add flavor topped with sprouts and
Long line but they give out a free glass of wintermelon juice for people waiting in line. Pho is good but some of the meat, specially the ones with bones are tough. The bone with cartilage and tendons are a bit tough to cut and chew. Could have been better if tender. The oxtail was also hard. Service was good and fast. Most of the staff were nice and helpful. Place is fairly clean.
Specializes in pho so service is quick and easy and the quality is good too! It’s located in a plaza so lots of other shops nearby. You order at the front and then find your own table. I find it super convenient and works for groups as well. Unfortunately, not vegetarian or vegan friendly but there are other shops inside that have more friendly options and they can bring it in here as well since it’s a shared space.
The pho was good and the price is reasonable. We came on a weekday lunch and had to wait in the line for a little bit. The line moves quick since you just order at the front desk, not many options but all seems good. They served the pho pretty quick. It is a good place for a quick lunch. I feel the soup base is a little too oily but it is just me
A friend said that this location is better tasting for beef noodle soup than their Bushard Ave location. We went and test it for ourselves. We order our favorites combination #14 with all the different cuts of meat minus the beef balls. When you first walked in, the fragrant of the pho soup is fantastic. But when the noodles soup came, it wasn’t as fragrant as I was expecting. Nothing special about this location except the ambiance was very nice. Outdoor seating as well as indoor. Very efficient services. Order at the cashier counter, grab your table and the food and condiments to follow. At this location, they served a small bowl of sliced cooked beef in broth. Also, not many Pho restaurants served the Chinese long leaves cilantro along with Thai basic for your pho. I would go back to the other branch instead of this location.
First time here after walking by many times. Yes the lines look long I’ve seen longer at Mexican restaurants but this place always seems to be busy especially early in the morning. Have the #2 steak and brisket pho. No question for the price ($14.50) you get a lot of food and leave satisfied. I would probably go back again because for the price it’s very filling and taste very fresh service is a bit slow and run by teens.
This place is either 5 stars or 3 stars depending on if you like your broth sugary or not. I prefer my broth free of sugar so it’s not that great for me. Other than the sugary broth, the meats and condiments are excellent. Wife and kids like it because of their sweet tooth. For me, I won’t come back.
If you aren’t patient enough to wait outside in the heat for 30-40 minutes then I highly recommend not to come during their weekend rush hours between 12 to 1 pm. Pho broth was rich and flavorful but you can definitely enjoy pho from other authentic restaurants in the OC without the long wait if you’re looking for a quick pho-fix.
Nice place, liked the fact you pay first and can leave as soon as your done. It's a new location and gets busy during evenings hours. My was experience was with the exception of the big bone, I was surely looking forward to eat but was so hard I think they forgot to cook it..I asked for no onions because of my fiance but waiter forgot and kinda got upset when I mentioned. But liked the place location..you will have trouble looking for parking weekend evenings.
I decided to try it because many people said this place was good. I'm not sure why people are so hyped about it cause it tastes just like any other pho restaurant. The bowls make the portions look big, but they mostly contain broth. The service is more like a fast food place. They give you your food and disappear. At least this location is much bigger than the other one, so I didn't have to wait too long. It was nice of them to give out complimentary meat bowls, but the food was very salty and had too much msg.
I order a number 8 ( tám), and they thought I order a steak pho ( tái). Its okay, its still pho. But they get the noodle WRONG. When I ask them about the pho noodle, they brought me a small bowl of the noodle I order. Nah i’ve been eating here for so long, we drive 45mins to have their pho but this will be the last time. I went back to complain and the girl in the front real nice and refund me right away. 🥹
The price for the pho was unbeatable. Hence the reason why it is so popular. Price was affordable and the portion was huge with so may options for the soup. The taste is just ok. I had tasted better phos. I suggested to opt for the non fatty meat as the broth was already fatty. The restaurant setting was unique so it is worth the try.
Pho is good, waiter very nice. Only cashier name Khanh is so bad, he reacted liked we borded him. We ordered saprate rare beef but he did not add to order. The waiter very nice he give us another saprate beef even mistake was make by cashier
Food quality decent. Kind of a odd setup. Once you come in you place your order at the counter then seat yourself. The Pho is average at best. The price on average for a bowl is $15 The broth is average. Would I come back not necessarily. But its decent if you are craving Pho amd near by. I've been to a lot worse places.
We tend to come to Rodeo for Pho Holic, since they have all the outdoor space/tables instead of being seated inside the restaurant. We have a little one in the stroller and never had an issue with requesting our table outside. Just this past week. We came and ask to be seated outside, because it is damn hard to maneuver between and around tables w/stroller. The guy working the register.. stated they don't like having to bring stuff outside. So, he suggested to do it as a to-go order. When we just walked past an outside table with 2 bowls of phô from previous customers. I said, "Okay. I will have it to-go." After few mins. of waiting for our food. I decided, I want to have my food now & have no choice but to eat inside. So, I told the guy working to-go side ...what was going on & I will sit inside. They couldn't put my order into a regular restaurant bowl and just kept it in the to-go bowl. And of course. When we were done eating. I was trying to push out our stroller and was stuck, b/c sitting customer chair is in the way & tight aisle. *Fair Warning* This is what you may deal with, coming here with littles in stroller.
My 2nd Time Back At The Rodeo 39 Location On 12/19/25. The Noise Level Was Pretty High, Having To Order At The Counter While The Door Is Opened. The Young Gal That Took My Order Wore A Mask & Sorta Hard To Understand Her. I Asked Her To Have The Phở Noodles Cooked/Boiled Al Dente. I Wasn’t Sure If She Understood Me, But The Noodles Came Out Too Soft For My Taste. I Love Noodles With A Bite!!
The broth was not as tasty as I thought it would be. The flavor wasn't rich enough. I came here because of they had a lot of good reviews. They don't have shrimp. I'm a pediatrician. I only eat seafood. So, I depended on the broth and noodles. The noodles are made fresh and are good. Honestly, Pho Redbo, Pho 45, and Pho Flavor have tastier Pho.
Decent food, and good portions of meat. The broth it could be better. Also they keep two giant doors open which can get a little cold at night. I'm not sure what's in those clear containers but it's definitely not Hoisin sauce, but maybe it's homemade. The bathrooms are disgusting. Nice Christmas decorations!
Their Phở was really bad! The broth was very salty , I squeezed 4 pieces of lime into the broth but its broth was still very salty! I have had High Blood pressure so I could only eat some noodles, left the broth almost untouched. All kinds of meat were very tough to chew. I will never return here!
Food was good, but service was mediocre. UPDATE: food is still good, but service is mediocre at best. Cashier tells us to wait a minute, which was longer, because he was counting cash with the cash machine. UPDATE: 4-1-2025 Again, the lousy, mediocre service doesn't surprise me. Food is still good, but service needs to improve.
The food was okay . The customer service was terrible . One of the staff was named Khoa . Terrible customer service , rude and lack of knowledge when we ask for stuff that is very common and traditional . They deserve a better training and smile and greet customer because thats why they get paid for .
Let me preface this review by saying that I’ve eaten at this location many times over the last two to three years. The last time before I came today was earlier this year (2024). I’ve always ordered item #16 (steak and oxtail) and today was no different. Upon the server’s arrival, I expected the usual metal bowls to be served but was surprised when I was met with a smaller plastic white bowl. After adding my preferred toppings, I took a sip of my pho and instantly noticed that the soup was not as hot (temperature) as I was used to the bowls being. The metal bowl’s substitution was most likely at fault for this. As I dug into my pho expecting to find one softball-sized serving of oxtail, I instead scooped approximately 5 individual pieces of oxtail that were each 1/8 of the usual size. All lacking in meat and instead cartilage/fat. The steak itself was mostly medium-rare and consequently never progressively cooked with the soup’s weak temperature. I also noted that their red chili paste/oil was very underwhelming and bland compared to the very spicy recipe it used to be. Considering that item #16’s price increased by $2+ ($16 plus tax/tip), I took great notice of this bad experience and had to share it with others. All in all, Pho Holic 2 has possibly began cutting costs, consequently lowering the pho’s quality. P.S. the staff has mostly always treated us differently from other customers (servers rolling eyes when asking for additional toppings), but I’ve always chalked it up to being an outsider (non-Asian). I’ve added a photo of the metal bowls they used to serve for context.
