I got a Baja bowl little custom action. Food was great shout out to the chefs in the back. When I walked in I was welcomed by a rather pleasing gentleman who I later found out was named Tim. Tim is a very professional guy and made my experience at better 1000 times better. Thank you Tim for the service. I will be coming back there asap. Everyone eat better
Co Workers put me onto this healthy spot and I actually prefer to come here more often. Chipotle Chicken was slamming especially with that sauce. Acai Bowl is definitely something I’d come back for and I prefer Regular Fries but being this a healthier spot, sweet potato fries did its job.

My favorite restaurant. Better offers the cleanest and healthiest meals on the island. It’s spotless and the staff are always friendly. Whether you get a delivery, pick up, or dine in, it’s always quick and delicious. Highly recommend to everyone. Also they offer gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options which is a major plus.
The food here is amazing every time. I get the same quesadilla I just can’t get enough. The manager Tim is the best, he puts my order in before I even get through the door. He values having strong relationships with customers and always follows up on previous conversations.
My go to for ordering a customized salad and the portions always generous where I can have it for two meals. The service is always good and they never mess up my order which is rare for my particular salad. Highly recommend for a nice healthy lunch!
Had the best experience today at better on hylan picking up a buffalo chicken wrap with chicken and ranch it was so fresh and the staff helped me decide on what to order with patience and kindness! Will definitely be coming back!

I work across the street and I’ve gone into Better on Hylan bvld for the past 4 1/2 years. I just want to shout out that Tim is an incredible worker, very knowledgeable, always attentive and I especially like his personal touch!!! I love that old school neighborhood feeling when somebody remembers who you are & calls you by name. He is definitely an asset to your establishment!!!
My parents are always bringing better over to my house since I live in NJ now and I can’t tell you how happy that makes me. The one thing I miss the most about NY is Better Gourmet. Now I find out they are coming to NJ and I can’t even contain my excitement. Love their selection and somehow they always have the best employees!

Ordered online a cold protein oatmeal and it looks nothing like the pictures shown. It’s not worth $9 for some oatmeal and not even half of a banana. Description says granola is added but it’s basically non-existent.
