Been awhile since I moved. Is Harry still around or retired by now. Since the PT is closed in Greenwich village.

We moved to 10309 in November, '13, from Oakwood. We order Chinese 5-7 times a month, some times, more. After, ordering from every take-out joint is the 10309 zip code, and wondering how these places could possibly stay in business, with the horrendous crap served up by the likes of: Loon-y Chaun, un-Happy mis-Fortune, Hong Kong Wok--it rhymes with . . ., Islander Taste-less, and a couple others, all equally bad, and worse, I decided to change my search to Chinese food 10312 instead of 10309. That's when I found Peking Taste--Gods be Praised! The little things: They always, like everyone else, say 20 minutes for delivery, and after #8 ,so far, they haven't been late yet, The drivers are actually friendly, and neer fail to say thank you! My favorite dish is the Pineapple Duck. Their process produces perfectly cooked moist meat, with the fat rendered out, and nice crispy skin. I could eat it naked, but, the pineapple sauce--much like Sweet and Sour Chicken sauce, loaded with pineapple chunks, YUM. The General Tso's Chicken has green peppers, onion, and much better than the average couple of broccoli florets. Only problem is that it's supposed to be spicy hot. Even when I requested it extra hot, there was no heat! Except tonight when a guy whose accent was native NY did I get , finally, a hot and spicy entree' ! The egg-rolls have very good flavor, everything tastes very good. Oh, yea, the prices are so low,, I almost didn't order when I saw them thinking that with prices this low!

Delivery is so fast and the food is amazing. Defying chose here of your want your Chinese food. I’m a driver myself and I can say the food is always at the customers door very fast

Best chinese food on the Island….so glad I’ve lived around Peking my whole life. Never scared to eat thier food….never had a problem at either of thier locations food or service wise….please continue your excellence! Lol

The food is edible, I will say they cater the taste to the majority population they serve and it is a bit on the blander side for me. I still do enjoy my food from them and they treat me well there. They know my family as part of the community now.

The cooks have slowly been getting more laxed and the best menu item is a spring roll. The three of the areas Chinese places are not trying to set an example, they do the 'you don't have to beat the shark, just the guy you're closest to" it doesn't apply to take out. This one also happens to be the most expensive for nothing. Go to Arthur kill and Arden it's better there

Inconsistent at best. We have noticed the quality of their food decline over the years but today marks the end of us ordering from them. Ordered vegetable dumplings and they were filled with over cooked broccoli or another green instead of a normal vegetable medley and a secret ingredient- pieces of a bamboo steamer! In several of the dumplings.

yikes! egg foo young mainly just tasted like oil, and there was hardly any shrimp in my shrimp dumplings. At least the roast pork with almond was decent.

I dont know why you guys put so much oil on the chicken broccoli, I used to get it all the time there and it wasnt drenched in oil and sauce together now there is so much oil that it spills all over even before opening the container.

I ORDER FROM PEKING TASTE ON ARDEN AVE TONIGHT, I Used TO EAT THERE BEFORE I MOVED TO FLORIDA, FIGURED I TRY THEM TONIGHT THAT IAM IN STATEN ISLAND VISITING MY 2 GRANDSONS, UNFORTUNATELY THERE FOOD WAS THE WORST CHINESE FOOD I EVER ATE, IT WAS HORRIBLE SORRY TO SAY, NO TASTE, DISGUSTING, I THREW IT OUT IT WAS THAT BAD, PEOPLE DO URSELF A FAVOR AND DONT GO THERE , FIND URSELF ANOTHER PLACE TO EAT, DONT RUIN UR DINNER EATING THERE...

Food was horrible...I ordered pork fried rice with shrimp an broccoli an it was very upsetting...rice was hard like if they didnt even cook it an the shrimp looked old and the broccoli taste like they just cut it from there back yard

Every single time I bring food home the order is wrong. The prices are not worth the service or food.

I spent $115 at this place the night before leaving the state and specified no peas or peapods due to allergy. I was told that they don't use peas or peapods which was a lie because there were peas in my fried rice and peapods in my roast pork with Chinese vegetables. Needless to say, I couldn't eat these items at all.

I will never come here again. I got eggdrop wonton mix soup to go and when i started eating it a sharp piece of plastic was in my soup and i almost choked on it. This was a very large sharp piece of plastic and it could have caused serious injury if i didn’t spit it out. This is unacceptable and i will never go here agin.

Do not eat here. They used to be an alright joint, but recently the quality has taken a big drop. The fried rice in particular is really bad. You know a place is bad if they cannot make fried rice.

We have been ordering from them for years. Yesterday they sent us food like rubber that we couldn't eat. When we called them to tell them, they didn't resolve the problem so they lost a lifetime customer over $18.
