Have wanted to try this place for a while and finally got round to it and it did not disappoint! Food was amazing , very lovely relaxed atmosphere and the decor is stunning. The service was great and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner is so friendly and came over at the end and had a lovely conversation with us and made sure everything was to our liking. Was a really great experience and we will definitely be returning!
First time at Adore, we hadn't booked, and luckily for us they managed to find us a table, on a Friday in December. The food was amazing, we both had starters, beef crockets and octopus, then our mains were seafood linguine and lobster ravioli, it was so tasty. We will definitely be returning, its so good to see a good restaurant in Stourbridge, it is so definitely needed, thank you Adore 🥂😀
We visited Odore a few days ago for a date night and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was amazing, it took us to Italy for a couple of hours. The staff were very attentive and professional, which made the evening even more enjoyable. As a starter, we ordered octopus and beef carpaccio, and for our mains we chose two pasta dishes. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants a fancy night out with great food.
What an amazing dining experience! Having spent the beginning of 2025 in Rome, it felt only right we went for an Italian meal on New Year's eve and end the year with Italian food too. It did not disappoint! Even better than the restaurants we visited in Rome! The service was incredible, and I cannot believe how amazing the quality and quantity of the food was, considering the price. Will definitely be coming here again, we both loved it. Thank you to the amazing staff for a wonderful dining experience!
First time, at this new restaurant. We had been out in town and decided to try and get a table. Met at the door by friendly staff, who took us to a table in the window. Great choice of wines, and other beverages. We chose a wine, they let us try it first. Good choice of meals, pasta, steaks, pizza, salads. Food came out piping hot. We had nothing to complain about. We were offered pudding, so of course we participated. All I can say it was a most enjoyable experience. We are looking forward to our next visit.
An excellent addition to the Stourbridge food scene, serving up excellent food and drinks at affordable prices. Located in a completely renovated long abandoned beautiful property ( former pizza hut ). I've already visited three times and can honestly say the Beef Capriccio is one of the finest I've eat and every dish has been exquisite.
We had an amazing experience at Odore! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed with their warm and attentive service. Every member of the team was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely outstanding — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every dish had its own unique touch, and you could taste the passion behind the cooking. Odore is definitely a place me and my family will be coming back to. Great service, incredible food, and an overall amazing atmosphere Highly recommended!!!!! 👌
I visited Odore Italian during its first week of opening and was really impressed. The interior is stunning, with a luxurious, high-end feel and beautiful Italian-style ceiling paintings that add a special touch. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the evening. The food was absolutely fantastic — I’d definitely return.
Incredible food Came here for lunch on NYE. Service from the moment we walked in the door was amazing, really attentive and friendly Pinot was really good, as was the garlic bread to share The real star of the show was the mains, carbonara and beef ragu were truly incredible Rivals the Italian foot we ate in Italy. Will definitely return
Saturday evening with my wife and friends, had a pleasant night with great food and wine. Lasagne & beef ragu, with panna cotta and tiramisu for desert. Malbec was great too. The restaurant was buzzing, the food was great and the waiting staff and owner were exceptional, will return soon with family.
Stourbridge suddenly has a really good restaurant! Two beautiful dining rooms. Authentic, thoughtfully constructed and tasty Italian dishes.Attentive staff who made us feel like their utmost priority was us having a great time there (thank you Andelito). Loved everything we’ve tried there so far: olives, octopus, salad, pasta, lamb, fish, risotto… Wine was great value too 👌🏼 Odore would not be out of place in the city centre. Highly highly recommmend
WOW! This amazing, wonderful restaurant has blown us away. We visited today with our eldest son and his girlfriend. It's been a tough time for them as they've recently bought their first house only to discover that one of them has been made redundant. We therefore needed a good day out and we most definitely received it at Odore. The service, ambiance, quality of food and value for money is exemplary. We would have believed we were in Milan if not for the view of HSBC bank opposite! I have a problem with noise (misophonia) which our server (and manager?) Rino fully understood and therefore seated us in a quiet and most beautiful area upstairs. Absolutely superb service and experience. This restaurant is up there with the very best. Thank you so much Rino and your amazing team for giving us such a wonderful afternoon in your beautiful restaurant. We will be back very soon!
We had no reservation for an afternoon lunch, but they were able to fit us in. Quite busy inside others enjoying their lunch. We did enjoy the atmosphere here. The food was first class, we both really enjoyed the dishes we ordered. Service was great, attentive and ready to help. We will definitely be returning in the new year. Many thanks to all the staff.
Great night out with friends who were visiting Stourbridge. Had heard great things about restaurant and weren’t disappointed. Great food great service from are waiter Ethan and relaxed atmosphere.
Great service all round, food was amazing and atmosphere was on point. Wouldn’t have thought this was in the centre of Stourbridge. Server Nico looked after us and made our experience 10/10
Excellent food! Excellent staff! Highly recommend! The steak was cooked perfectly! The mushroom risotto was to die for! Highly recommend!
Went for lunch today cannot fault the service. Food was delicious! Decor is lovely a little gem to the high street. Definitely recommend!
I had the pleasure of dining at this lovely restaurant last night with a group of 10 friends. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The decor was beautiful, creating a classy atmosphere that made our evening special. The food and wine were amazing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, which added to the overall experience. It's so nice to have such a classy venue in Stourbridge. Good luck to the team, and I’m looking forward to joining you again.
A really lovely restaurant with a warm, classy atmosphere. The food was lovely, beautifully cooked and full of flavour, everything came out within great time. The staff were friendly and welcoming, with Ethan giving particularly good service. A great spot for a delightful meal – highly recommended.
We were here for Xmas party meal and it was excellent. Good choice of food. Antipasti sharer and a few starters. Antipasti was tasty. Mussels were nicely done, garlic cheese pizza yummy and beef croquette very tender. Main course a few steaks, salmon with gnocchi, penne arrabata and others, excellent quality. Service was on point, never had to wait for anything, very attentative. Definitely recommend and will save us from going into Birmingham for quality Italian restaurant. Thank you
The food was amazing, we had smiles on our faces all the way through. We shared Bruschetta di Gamberoni and Beef Carpaccio (apologies for incorrect spelling, if that's the case), I had the fillet steak and my partner had beef ragu. We both loved the food and flavours. The red wine sauce was superb. I can see why this place has excellent reviews.
Off the street walking without reservation. No problem, seated immediately. Excellent menu, I literally could have chosen anything and not been disappointed. Seafood risotto was perfectly cooked and my wife loved her penne arrabiata. Service was excellent especially as this was only their second day of trading. The upstairs restaurant is something to behold and Stourbridge is extremely lucky to have Odore. We were just passing through for the night but will return as soon as is possible.
Fabulous meal last night. The menu has excellent choices, the service is really good and attentive without being too over the top. The wine list is extensive with some excellent offerings. The food was fabulous and served beautifully hot. This is a fabulous addition to Stourbridge.
The ambience is amazing and the staff were incredible accommodating and friendly! Food arrived fast and everyone fully enjoyed their meal! My children especially liked the tomato garlic bread and the tiramisu! The fillet steak was melt in the mouth!! The children already want to return! Thank you for a lovely evening and help in celebrating my son’s 13th birthday! Will definitely be back 😊
What a fantastic restaurant! We spent a wonderful evening here celebrating my birthday with my partner. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were sensational, and Rinaldo and Gabriel provided outstanding hospitality — something that’s hard to come by nowadays. Highly recommend it! We will definitely be back.
Perfect Christmas Day ! I visited Odore for the first time on Christmas Day. When we arrived we were met with a warm welcome and enjoyed welcome glasses of champagne which made it feel extra special. The staff were so friendly and welcoming nothing was too much trouble, the restaurant felt warm and inviting and everyone was given plenty of space to soak up the atmosphere this really shows that the owners really care about the experience of customers during the visit. The starters were presented beautifully, there was lots of sharing of our dishes on our table as we all wanted to try each other’s food, everything was delicious. The mains were also exceptional, I ordered the steak in peppercorn sauce, it was so tender and perfectly cooked. Others in our party ordered the sea bass with scollops and caviar it was beautifully presented and also delicious, the Turkey in red wine reduction was also delicious and cooked to perfection. Each main was served with a side of beautiful cooked vegetables or fries. Desserts were beautifully presented and obviously made in house. We enjoyed tiramisu and limoncello bombs, it was the perfect end to a fabulous meal. My only complaint is I wish I had visited sooner, it’s just what Stourbridge needs.
Everything about this restaurant was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, attentive and efficient. From start to finish, the whole experience felt like a little taste of Italy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
Genuine and friendly staff. Welcoming and professional atmosphere. Tables not crowded. Clean, good lighting and ambient musice to complement not drown out. Food very good, warmed plates and hot plate would maintain the temperature that was slightly less than expected. That said, well cooked and very tasty and filling. Desert cheesecake slice was a little on the shy of expected portion size, but again delicious and well presented. Helpful staff and always on hand. Value for money? yes definitely. Great Visit, Great Meal; Thank You.
So pleased Stourbridge has got a proper Italian Restaurant of this high standard but very affordable prices. My partner and I had a really enjoyable evening trying 3 courses and all were delicious. For a Wednesday it was quite busy but the staff were attentive and friendly and we had just the right amount of time between courses. The wines are excellent too. The atmosphere is rather luxurious as they've really made the most out of this beautiful old building, especially the upstairs room with its stunning painted ceiling, chandeliers and elegant windows. Will be back many times and wish them well.
It was our first visit to Odore. We were bowled over by the reception from Ronaldo and his very committed team of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and although the restaurant was busy time was taken to go through the menu and make recommendations. The menu is good and our starters and mains were served in good time despite the number of diners. Our meals were superb and presented well. Before we left we were shown round the restaurant which has been refurbished exquisitely. We have already passed on recommendations to our friends and we will be back very soon. Sturbridge has been waiting for an Italian restaurant like this for a long time and it would seem we have the very best on offer. We cannot recommend highly enough. Well done and see you soon!
So we had 2 excellent pornstar martinis and a bottle of water. Shared some bread and olives....the bread was not so fresh tbh.... The steak was excellent and cooked to perfection as were the fries. The salmon on pesto gnocchi was ok...a very small piece of salmon and as a result slightly overcooked but the gnocchi was nice. My partner had the cheesecake, utterly forgettable and a bought in product. Service was attentive not overbearing and the atmosphere delightful in a busy family way. We booked online and had to take a 5:15 pm table but the one next to us was never occupied until we left at 8pm as were others 🤔 And I really wish restaurants of this quality would not just add the service. I'm quite capable of deciding what gratuity to leave. In fact I would have left more than they asked but didn't for that reason. Anyway £100 almost exactly which seemed at the top end of good value. Would I go again..... maybe.
Came on a Monday lunchtime. Considering was very quiet still had a lovely atmosphere. Cheesy garlic bread to share - was a really big portion and very tasty. I like to try the spaghetti bolognase every time I try a new italian restaurant and this one did not disappoint was beautiful again a very generous portion. My husband had the calzone which he did enjoy however said it was quite dry and therefore struggled to finish it. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful surroundings, but let down by some poor ingredients and presentation. Overall promising so much with the decor and price, but not quite delivering. Maybe they need more time? Tables, cutlery, and decor were all immaculate. Honestly though, with all the effort that they put into making the place look so nice, they neglected to dazzle with the facilities. I would like an equally fancy place to powder my nose. The lasagne had burned spots on the dish so a bit sloppy, but tasted quite nice otherwise. The tomatoes in the Insalata Caprese were the cheap low quality ones. The Crocchetta di Manzo was delicious and well presented. Service was OK at best, not very intuitive or forthcoming, but most of them seemed brand new and inexperienced, so not their fault really. Still, not very well recruited or managed. A slight feeling of being rushed, but not the worst I have experienced.
Came here with my mum to try it, the 3 courses and the food we had was very lovely and tasted nice but left us both still feeling hungry after. We had cheesy garlic bread to go along with the starters but this was forgotten about and when it did come out it was like it has been left, and it was quite hard and no cheese on it at all. When entering even tho eye contact was made with a few members of start we seemed to be ignored and left waiting to be seating. The food nice what we had apart from the garlic bread but it seems they struggle with service when it gets busy.
The setting of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, 10/10. From the moment you arrive, the ambiance sets high expectations. Starters: The beef croquette disappointing, it contained very little beef and was mostly potato, which left it lacking in flavour. The octopus was nice but felt like it needed a bit more on the plate to make it a wow dish. The Fegatini di Pollo was unfortunately not well prepared. The liver still had a lot of sinew, which made it unpleasant to eat and ultimately couldn’t be finished. On a brighter note, the Bruschetta alla Roma was enjoyable and offered a nice balance of freshness and flavour. Mains: The Pollo Funghi had good flavour, but unfortunately the chicken appeared to have been cut in half to check it was cooked through, which left it quite dry. The dish also felt a little bare, it could have benefited from an accompaniment or some additional elements on the plate, as it was essentially just chicken in sauce The Carbonara was made with pancetta, not necessarily a bad choice, though guanciale would have been preferred for authenticity. It also could have used a touch more seasoning. The Ravioli all’Aragosta was the most disappointing of the mains. The presentation looked rushed — as if it had been thrown into a bowl with the sauce poured over the top. It didn’t reflect the level of finesse you’d expect from a chef with Michelin-star experience. The sauce itself was overpowered by garlic, which completely masked the delicate lobster flavour. The Linguine alla Marinara featured seafood that was fresh and was cooked well, but overall the dish was just okay, it lacked vibrancy and could have used more seasoning to elevate the flavours. Dessert: The Tiramisu was easily the highlight of the evening, rich, creamy, and well-balanced. However, the panna cotta lacked its signature ‘wiggle,’ and the strawberries served alongside didn’t look or taste fresh. Overall: The food was okay, but far from impressive. For the price point and the reputation of a Michelin star chef, we expected much more. Beautiful setting, but the execution and attention to detail in the dishes fell short of the hype.
Lovely atmosphere, and great to see what they’ve done with the building. Also very festive with a beautiful tree in the window. Our primary waiter was excellent; she was very attentive, regularly checking in and topping up our water. It did take a while for the bill to come, but this barely detracts from the otherwise good service. The food however did not match the standards of the other aspects of the restaurant. By no means was the food bad, but it was of a similar quality to chain Italian restaurants, which is not what I expected. We had bread and olives to start, which was in all fairness quite nice. The amount of oil and balsamic was slightly stingy, but this was made up for by some lovely olive focaccia. The olives were herby, however were a tad warm. For mains we had the carbonara and the arrabiata. The carbonara was as advertised, which is largely the problem. You would expect an Italian restaurant that prides itself on authenticity to use authentic ingredients, but Pecorino Romano was swapped out for parmesan, and guanciale for pancetta, which was a real shame. Again though, this was stated on the menu. Worth mentioning that the owner said they use guanciale in a reply to another review, which worryingly is not true! The arrabiata wasn’t terrible, but the pasta was really quite overcooked, far from al dente, and had been under a heat lamp, drying the top out. The sauce was quite nice though, with a good amount of garlic, if not as spicy as others I’ve had in Italy. Worth noting that neither pastas we had were homemade. We also shared a garlic bread with our mains, which, while nice, resembled a naan in both texture and taste. The bread was soft and floppy, even the crusts, which wasn’t necessarily bad, just not what you’d expect at an Italian. Other tables seemed to have better baked bread, so we may have been unlucky. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which tasted wonderful. It was however really quite liquidy, which shouldn’t be the case for a tiramisu. It dripped from the spoon as we ate it. Overall, it was a lovely atmosphere with great service and mediocre food. Not sure I’d go back for the price point it’s at, but I’d consider it should the prices reflect the quality later down the line.
I’ve been here twice now and I feel like it’s all style but no substance. The interior is stunning however the food is average and not worth the price. My pizza last night was undercooked and quite bland which was disappointing. The wife had a seafood dish and again it was just lacking flavour and the wow factor. I won’t be returning which is a shame as I had high hopes for this restaurant.
We visited last night for the first time and sadly will not be returning. The atmosphere is lovely, the décor is lovely and the staff, although they seem very inexperienced they were very professional but the food.. mediocre at best. Did not match it's price point at all. I wanted to come away amazed but I was so disappointed. I had pizza, honestly had better in 'spoons and my hubby had steak which he said was ok but nothing amazing. we had eaten at a local pub the week before and paid a quarter of what our bill was last night and the food was better. We had such high expectations after being told how nice Odore was but honestly, book yourself in to a local Italian chain... It's cheaper and the food is the same level.
Food was fantastic, I had penne arrabbiata with panna cotta for desert and I recommend both. Service was very slow, however it was busy. The server seemed a bit aloof and blunt, but apart from that it was good. We did get overcharged by £43, but was refunded after a short wait. I don’t think I’ll come back as I didn’t feel as looked after as I have in other restaurants, however the food was top notch and I can’t say a bad thing about it.
Food was amazing. Decor was lovely too, clean & tasteful. But not a special time out. Shown to table, waited for someone to come over. We had watched someone clean a table and reset it while we waited before they finally came over. It was nearly half an hour before we had a drink on the table. Then she asked for our food order as she put our drinks down. No courtesy breads or after dinner mints etc. Staff were not welcoming at all. Given the wrong bill which I queried after we paid as it seemed so high. It was £45 over charge. He apologised but didn’t seem bothered. In their defence it was busy, but they shouldn’t take bookings if they can’t cope. Not the usual Italian hospitality we’re used to so not worth paying the extra.
If you’re expecting a ‘michelin’ star experience then don’t nice enough and fits in with stourbridge but failed to meet expectation nice enough to visit but fell incredibly short especially in comparison to some food experiences I’ve had in Italy. Atmosphere was cool and staff friendly enough but a little disappointing food wise. In hindsight now the meal has finished that was utterly disappointing for example the carbonara was more comparable to a ramen the amount of liquid it was sat in. No standout dishes at all. Given the fancy interior and the supposed acclaim of the michelin star the difference in expectation and reality was that vast it warrants a 1 star. Change the interior to be the same as spoons and you’d struggle to tell the difference in food 🤣.
