This is the place I've been searching for. Their burritos are delicious and have a distinct taste I've never had anywhere else. I came her expecting an average burrito but was delightfully surprised. Y how great their burritos are. The only downsides to this place are that they don't give free chips, the wait is somewhat long, and the food is decently pricey. I'd still come back.

Speedy's is hands down my family's favorite restaurant in the area. The food is delicious every time. The shrimp burrito is my go-to—the best shrimp I've ever had—and the guacamole and salsa are top notch. The staff is always friendly and helpful, too. Can't recommend it enough.

Just love, love, love this place! Healthy, delicious, vegetarian and meat choices of Mexican food. The vegetables are a great size proportion, and the beans are not made from lard. Their chicken meatball soup (albondigas) have mouth watering, tender, tasty chicken balls along with a delicious broth and veggies. Their portions are generous that I usually cannot finish my meal, but always keep trying because everything is so delicious it's hard to stop. Ate here often, and wish to visit many more! Sunnyvale government is threatening to replace with housing - I'd be so friggin depressed if this happens.

Friendly staff in a cute little place with outside seating. I ordered a chicken burrito with some added veggies and they got my order right. The ingredients were fresh and had great flavor. They included some seriously firey salsa that's firey enough to clear your sinuses so be careful. Definitely will go back to try the tacos.

Here we ordered multiple succulent tacos along with a fantastic quesadilla. The quesadilla had shrimp and cheese that were complimented by the sour cream and salsa that topped it all. Add the house salsa to all that and you'll be impressed. The tacos were outstanding, meat portions were high, seasoning was just right and again the salsa really complimented each bite. Between the pastor ,bistec ,and shrimp we had a great meal. Take your pick and enjoy yourself too!

Stopped by speedy's tacos on Sunday right as they opened and was pleasantly surprised by their SPEEDY service (guess that's why they call it speedy tacos). The lady taking orders was efficient and kind and greatest each guest with a large smile. We ate at the patios in the front of the restaurant which are shaded well with tons of trees. The food arrived very fast and was delicious! We ordered the chips and salsa, chorizo burrito and soft tacos (carnitas, carne asada and chicken). The carne asada and carnitas were the best. The tacos came with tons of meat, onions, cilantro and a few radishes. Great place for a sunny relaxing day!

I’ve been trying to find an authentic Mexican Restaurant since I moved to the area… about 1 year ago. I moved from SoCal and food down there was so easy to find. Seeing as we were close to Mexico. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It’s a small and casual hole in the wall. Not a chain, only one they have! Food was bomb! We ordered dine in and got chicken quesadillas (you literally taste like every flavor. Especially the cheese. So good!), steak nachos (not on current menu. Asked them because we saw photos of it), and 3 Taquitos. They have 3 different flavors of taquitos. I think it was Potato, Chorizo and cheese, and Chicken. I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of their current menu. Food was made quick. Service is 10/10. They’re really nice Taste: 11/10 Ooh and of course I have to mention their hot sauce. It’s an orange sauce. It is spicy so start off with a small amount. Flavor is good as well. I am definitely going to come back here when I feel like getting some Mexican food.

I've been regularly going to Speedy's for 5 years and I still look forward to it every time. Their food is consistently delicious and I love that their vegetarian option is veggies (carrot, zucchini, onion, peppers) instead of just no meat. I'm a big fan of their nachos, chipotle enchiladas, and enjitomatades.

My friend and I came here on a sunday right as they opened for lunch and 5 minutes into opening there's already a line and restaurant is almost at full capacity. Once we witnessed that, we knew we are at the right place. We ordered tacos ( chicken and steak) , tacitos, and tamales. We also ordered chips and salsa which comes with unlimited refills. Their salsa was very fresh and tasty. Their food was also excellent and spot on. The gals both behind the register and in the kitchen were all very friendly and nice. There are about 4 tables outdoor and quite few indoor. Since weather permitted we sat outside. Both inside and outside were clean and well maintained. All in all the food quality was A+, service was A+ amd atmosphere was also an A+

The food (soft Tacos with Shrimp, Fish and pulled pork) was very delicious ... flavourful, juicy and clean (not alot of cheese or cream). The best food I had up to now after 4 days in Bay area. Tried this place for the first time and it was a great experience. The customer service was perfect, and the food was delicious. I ordered Asada Tacos, al Pastor Tacos (I liked the Asada best) and Pozole and everything was very good. They make their food fresh every day and have good sazon. Even on a rainy day they had loyal clientele stopping by continuously. Definitely my new favorite taco spot.

Update: Visited again in Jan 2024 and still is the reigning king/queen of pozole in the Bay Area. This spot has the best Pozole in the Bay Area for only $9 a cup as of Dec. 2022. Make sure to try some of their orange sauce! Burritos are also delicious! I'm gonna come back to try some of the sangria too

The pozole (they have it every day of the week!) is excellent, chicken burrito is great, and the jamaica hibiscus tea is perfect. Food is consistently amazing and the service is wonderful. Love this place.

Family run restaurant at stand alone location in strip mall. Warm friendly service. Order at the counter, get your water and soda drinks at the dispenser and wait for your order to come out to your table. Outside and dine in options. Fresh colorful food. Delicious well flavored mole. Bring your distance glasses to read the menu on the wall when ordering if you are old like me. A true neighborhood treasure.

Googled this place and visited their website. The website pictures were vibrant and fresh so I decided to go with my Staff to eat for a quick bite. This restaurant has cool paintings as you walk. This is a family owned business. Everything looks authentic and freshly made. We ordered the Crispy Taquitos and Soft Tacos. The Jamaica (Mexican Flower Drink) was very tasty and delicious. The guacamole was smooth and flavorful. We will go back to try something else from the menu.

We stopped in for dinner and it was first time there. Super friendly service and welcoming interior. We ordered chicken tacos, chorizo and potato taquitos, a steak burrito and chips and guac. Their chicken is shredded and super flavorful and all the toppings on the taco were super flavorful and fresh. The chorizo in the taquitos wasn’t my favorite but I LOVED all the fresh toppings on them- lettuce, tomato, cotija and a flavorful green sauce. Steak burrito was a great size and my husband enjoyed it. Guac was fantastic!!! A large is $14 but it’s honestly worth it. Will be back!

Came down from Sacramento for Metallica and was craving some authentic Mexican food. This spot came right up and was worth the short drive. We split a fish burrito that was fresh and flavorful. Rarely do you find a restaurant with excellent service and food. Speedy is both. Fantastic service and out of the world food. We ordered the potato cheese taquitas. Jasmin is so sweet! You get treated like family here with yumm food + reasonable prices. Won’t regret.

We always have good experience with this place. Staff is friendly, food is good and they have a decent outdoor dining area. After your order at the counter, the food comes out fairly fast. They have many choices for their soft taco (beef, 2 kinds of pork, chicken, shrimp, beef tongue, fish). All is good except chicken is a bit dry though. Their beef burrito is very good too. Whenever I feel like taco, we'd like to come and support local business.

Speedy’s Tacos was speedy, tasty, authentic, and well priced. I loved the chicken tacquitos I ordered! So crispy, not oily, tender pulled chicken, and lots of flavor! My carne asada street taco was also very tasty. The pulled pork tacos are up there for my partner, too. But the Chicken Burrito was HUGE and he loves that. Their kitchen was really pushing out the orders quickly, and presented them well! Love going here and will definitely recommend it.

They're not kidding about the Speedy part. Even though there were a lot of people when I got there, and a big group had just ordered before me. I got my order within 3 minutes of sitting down. I got two tacos (al pastor, lengua), and the tamales. Not the best I've had, but pretty good. They also have a good selection of local beer on tap, which goes well with the food. Make sure to ask for the hot sauce.

We picked this restaurant because it had one of the best ratings on Google Maps. The enchiladas were delicious, 9/10. The burritos, steak, al pastor, and asada were great, 9/10. The carnitas tacos were good but had three tortillas, and the meat was a bit overpowered by the toppings, 8/10. The horchata had good flavor but a lot of powder at the bottom, 6/10. The Jamaica was smooth and flavorful, 9/10. The only disappointment was the rice and beans, 🫘 flavor was ok,6/10, 🍚 was not enjoyable,4/10, and both were a bit undercooked. Salsa was really good, 9/10, but the chips were a stale 5/10. Customer service and cleanliness, 10/10, but the back looked a little dumpy, and there were flies in the outside dining area. Overall, I give it 8/10.

A surprise great find in the Sunnyvale neighborhood! Their tacos ingredients are sooo fresh and filled with top flavor! We order fish, shrimp, beef and beef tongue, and they all taste fantastic! We stopped here for some tacos when in Silicon Valley. We tried four tacos: carne asada, al pastor, lingua, and fish. I loved the fish taco. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of the others. The other meats were kind of dry and lacking flavor. We also got a steak quesadilla which was my favorite thing. I highly recommend adding the spicy sauce, it was very flavorful. It's fast casual and we got our food pretty fast. I enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. This didn't stand out to me but it was solid Mexican.

I greatly enjoyed the Pulled Pork Quesadilla and the Potato and Cheese Taquitos. The quesadilla was a little on the greedy side from the cheese, but I'd consider that a pro! Give Speedys a try!

The food is delicious - I almost almost gave a 5 star, but there's only one salsa option on the tables, the enfrijoladas use pinto not black beans base and the outdoor seating area all the chairs have arms. Indoor seating is armless and therefore more accessible for those of us who need it. Service is friendly and accommodating. Portions are generous. Pricing is fair. Place was reasonably clean (table next to us needed a wipe down but not enough staff to get to it). Definitely would go again.

Tacos were really good as well as the beans. The chips and salsa have refills, and the salsa is flavorful, not very spicy although I may like more spice that was a better level of heat for most people. The enjitomatados chicken had a good flavor as well as the sauce but it would have been so much better if the chicken was shredded, instead of a chunk of chicken breast. It’s not easy to cut through or eat without destroying the tortilla. But overall everything was good and would go back again, the tacos were really good.

I've been to Speedy's Tacos in the past. Back then, I gave it a 5 star review, but after visiting Speedy's recently, I have to change my rating to 4/5. The quality of the tacos has gone down a bit. My friend and I visited Speedy's on a weekday around 5 p.m., and it was very empty (which makes sense). We ordered 5 tacos - 1 puller pork, 3 al pastor, and 1 carne asada. When it comes to the size of the tacos, you definitely get your money's worth. I personally felt that the 4 tacos I got were more than what I could finish. 3 was probably the right amount. Each taco consists of two soft tortillas. The tacos contain a green sauce and jalapeños so they are hot and usually on the spicy end. I was okay with that. The meat was a bit disappointing. It felt dry, and the cook wasn't consistent - some pieces were tender, and some weren't. The service was fast. We ordered at the counter, and our waiter served us our tacos within 5-10 minutes. The staff was friendly as well. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. We opted for indoor seating.

Nice Tacos, though I've had better. The Chile Relenos stuffed with vegetables was pretty good, especially with a unique sauce they served it with. Taquitos are definitely worth a try.The Orange sauce they serve on the side was the highlight for me. Spicy and creamy, it took the meal to the next level. It's a good spot for their outdoor dining space especially in these time, a good place for a break.

Loved the outdoor seating! Good variety of options, including soups. I got a chicken taco this time and it was super tasty. Regular guacamole has jalapenos so spice adverse folks should be aware. Could get several varieties of hot sauces for those that like heat. Everyone enjoyed their orders. We'll be back. Our friends recommended the place and met us for brunch there. One of our friends speaks Spanish and recommended ordering in Spanish if you have the skills to avoid misunderstanding if you have special requests or food allergies, just to be sure. Maybe make a translated card with food allergies. We found the server to be nice and efficient. The place was clean and pleasant. Mobility issue: There was not an obvious ramp from parking to the side walk/patio level but otherwise was easy for a wheelchair to move around once lifted up. Noise level was quiet until a large group sat next to us but there are lots of tables so you can move, if needed. Many more round couple tables than square ones outside.

This place typically looks closed but it’s not! Parking is easy and it’s usually not too crowded. There’s a TV in here that usually has espn on. Pretty good service: friendly and they deliver your food after you order at the counter. They have tacos, burritos, plates and more. I went with carne asada and al pastor tacos and both were loaded. I’d say the meat is just ok tho...a bit greasy for my preference. Their burritos look great. Odd thing about this place is that there’s no salsa bar (pico, radishes, limes). They’ll bring you hot sauce (orange) but it’s pretty damn spicy.

Rating is for the tacos. All very average tasting and more guisado style with too much juice. Quite overpriced also compared to other taco spots. Was expecting taqueria style tacos. Horchata was decent but quite small serving ≈12oz. for around $3.50 is steep The corn tortillas are good. Salsa for the chips and salsa is pretty bland also with no personality to it. Tastes like tomato juice. Service is great and very attentive.

I called ahead and was told you were open until 8:30 PM. I drove 20 minutes on the highway and arrived at 8:00 PM, but I was not allowed in and was told you had closed early because it was empty. Disappointed. Was recommend here but i got the smallest $15 burrito I’ve ever seen and was left confused like I ordered from the kids menu (there’s no kids menu). Quality was only okay. I can’t further recommend this place and will not be going back. Side note - if you spend more than one minute inside, you will leave reeking of oil and people around you will comment.

Service was good, food is tasty but the burrito completely fell apart, had to get a fork because it was just a total mess. I ordered a burrito and two tacos they only gave one extra salsa. Also I ordered pulled pork and got chicken. The lengua tacos were great though.
