I got exactly what I paid for.. a burrito so big I don't think I could finish it without a little discomfort. My food and experience were both fantastic.

This is my favorite place for comfort food and/or my cheat meal. I always get a california burrito either human size or monster (those are the only options). But hot damn it is amazing, the monster burrito is about the size of my forearm and is simply fantastic after a long week. This place also has super great platters and tacos. You can order pretty much anything off the menu and not go wrong. I highly reccomend this place to anyone who wants some delicious late night Mexican food. Also a bonus is they stay open till around midnight usually and are on ubereats. Overall a fantastic place to spend 8-15$ on food.

Good place considering the circumstances. It's next to a gas station and has a drive through. There is good quality food here for the price. I recommend the cali fries (basically carne asada fries with cheese, sour cream, guac, and pico). On a side note, you can also easily eat here if you're vegan or vegetarian. I'm not but they let you switch out things like meat and add in beans, rice, or fries even. Just make sure to say no cheese or sour cream. Anyways, we've never had a problem here and you get your food pretty quickly.

Ive tried every mexican resturuant in the murrieta/temecula area and these guys are the best. Ive lived here over 7 years and they are the most consistant. Only had a few problems with them over the years but for the most part they are great. And if you like alot of salsa go here. They will never charge you extra for 10 salsa cups. 5 star service and 5 star food :)

When you first walk in the menu can be a bit daunting as there are so many delicious options to choose from! Usually on the side there is a breakdown of all ingredients but if not, the pamphlet menu does. Both their breakfast burritos and regular burritos are awesome. Portions are large so it will take many trips to conquer this menu! They also offer complimentary chips and a salsa bar if you want some. Well worth a stop to eat!

Best Mexican Food within the vicinity of my home. Love the salsa, tacos, and the fact they have a drive thru! My only grip is prices, but thats everywhere now. Check them out!

After laughing with my sister for 10mins at my failed attempts to eat this in the car... Great job! This will be my new spot when traveling from my hometown to the desert..... Wednesday 4 Baja Tacos for 4 bucks! Picked up 2 carnitas and 2 adobada. By themselves they were delicious but add their Habanero sauce and it takes flavor to a new level.

Monster burritos are huge and very good. Taquitos are one of my favorites, the kids love the monster fries. The food is always pretty good. We eat there often. I love the habanero sauce.

I have only ordered chicken tacos and taquitos there and I liked them a lot. But last visit I asked for no cheese on my taquitos and when I opened the container they were covered in cheese, stuck in the guacamole...

Usually this is amazing food. It was so different. The carnitas was so dry, very little sour cream towards the end of the tortilla. The tortillas are always free and super yum. Rice and beans, filled the burrito, instead of carnitas.

Food is pretty good here. Prices a bit high for this type of Mexican restaurant; it's Temecula !! Very clean and great service.

(Los) Primos has always been a go-to quick taco shop-style grab for me when I get the hankering (especially late night). Most around here have a drive-thru like this location within a gas station minimart, however they do have indoor seating as well in a dining room separate from the minimart. There is a stand alone counter serve location nearby as well with margaritas, chips and salsa, and such. 🍹 The food here has been great for years and I believe they started in San Diego and have expanded north over the years. I love breakfast burritos and this is definitely a go-to for me in that category. The Monster breakfast burrito is absolutely massive and delicious. I can put away a lot of food when I'm not watching what I eat, but I still usually only eat half of one of these burritos in one sitting. I can literally drink their delicious red sauce so I always get extra cups. They also have great tortas and fried shredded beef tacos. I haven't ever ordered anything disappointing from Primos. This visit was early evening around 7:30. The drive-thru was stacked and there was one other party eating inside. I ordered to-go from the counter. The wait was quite long (around 15 minutes) as they were very clearly understaffed. I ordered 2 Monster breakfast burritos, a Monster torta, carne asada fries, and 4 shredded beef tacos. The poor younger girl that took my order was doing everything from taking counter orders to drive-thru orders, collecting at the window, and packing everything for both the counter and the drive thru. There were only cooks working other than her. It was far too early to only have her on the window, cashiering, and packing. There were help wanted signs posted so this was a perfect example of the debilitating staffing issues restaurants everywhere are facing. That being said, she was still extremely friendly and upbeat, funny, and very apologetic about the wait. Without me reminding her she remembered that I had asked for a lot of that red sauce and she gave me a separate bag loaded with it. The food was hot and fresh and didn't disappoint once I got it home to everyone. I wasn't in a rush so I wasn't upset about the wait, but if someone had somewhere to be, I could see them losing their patience. Hopefully they can address their staffing needs and get up to speed there, but the food definitely didn't suffer -- still great as always.

We decided to try this place for dinner last night. They had some issues yesterday and the food took a while to come out (I think we spent 15+ minutes in the drive through with 2 cars ahead of us). They were very apologetic and thanked us for their patience. My kids made quick work of their taquitos and bean & cheese burrito. My burrito on the other hand took some work. I am so happy that I ordered the Jr instead of the regular Cali Monster burrito. It was delicious, but I barely managed to finish it. The Horchata was ok, tasted much better once the ice had melted and diluted it a bit.l, but was quite strong at first. We sadly didn't get to try the churros with the kids meal as they were out, but they did sub an extra drink for us to make up for it. Looking forward to trying something new next time, especially from the breakfast menu.

The service was meh in the drive thru. The food was pretty good tho. We had two burritos.The carnitas were crispy and well spiced. Plus all the fixings were fresh and the guacamole was decent. The carne asada was pretty good too. Good cuts of meat. The only problem was the temperature was not hot enough. Since we were traveling, we ate right in the car, so I know it wasn't because we had let it cool down. I'd give them another chance.

Would probably try again. I usually don't like pico on my carne asada fries so I'd probably try without it next time!

Ordered the Chilaquiles Verdes and asked for rice instead of the potatoes. Overall it was just ok. I much prefer the Menifee location, the flavor tastes better and seems fresh.

I ordered a torta with adobada (a marinated pork in red Chile and generally citrus and pineapple) and fries. The torta was very filling. I was stuffed after eating it. The staff was nice. I was there around 10 in the morning and it wasn't busy on a weekday. Located next door to a gas station. They also have drive-thru.

Long wait. Fish taco had good sauce but the fish itself was very Gorton. Same with rolled tacos, guacamole was good but the filling was a suspicious mushy substance. Never again.

This place is a good step above a typical fast food Mexican place. The nice thing about this location in particular is that it does have a drive thru and it's open 24 hours Thursday thru Saturday. They cook to order so don't expect the food to come out fast. The food is decent, but some of the cheese doesn't taste real and has a strange flavor to it. Also, there have been times where the guacamole tasted as if a jar of salt accidentally fell into the bowl. The service is ok. Still it's a great option for late night eats and one of the few in the area.

Went through drive through. A long wait. The carnitas taco was delicious! I also got a 5 pc taquitos which was disappointing. It cost $10.50 and they were like the frozen taquitos, not something I was expecting from this fast food. I only ate a half and the rest went in the trash. My husband got the shredded beef flautas . The store is nice and clean and organized. My only reason for giving 3 stars is that when they prepare the food I noticed they didn't use gloves. The used their bare hands to put together a burrito. I think with covid and flu season everyone should be extra cautious when making food with bare hands.

First time coming to this location, my children burrito was half cold, the Manzanita soda DID not taste like Manzanita, the torta deal doesn't seem like a deal unless 10fries and half a spoonful of rice is what you expect as for the meat in the torta that was hard, and the Pepsi drink tasted bad too. Came here because of the good reviews but left unhappy.

Good drunk food only because it's a drive through and open late. Chorizo burrito was good! Gordita, and the original burrito were meh. Very Americanized and flavorless , if you want real Mexican this isn't the place for you. But if you are desperate for good, give it a go!

After reading the comments, I thought it would be a good idea to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. I ordered some fresh tacos, chips and guacamole with a Horchata. To my dismay, the tacos had little to no taste, even with the addition of salsa and lemon to enhance the flavor. The Horchata was also lackluster, tasting more like plain rice water. On a positive note, the cashiers were friendly and attentive throughout the visit.

Here is the classic hidden rip-off. I ordered the surf n turf Jr. Monster burrito. It's considered "premium" - Premium costs more money. $2.00 for each "premium" ingredient- in this case steak and shrimp. So my $13.50 burrito cost $17.50!! I took it to go. I start eating. Yes.. it taste good, but ALL beans and rice. I kid not...3 shrimp and I had to fight to find any real representative steak. Virtually no steak. So, the big huge Premium burrito all beans and rice with very little meat and shrimp. A total rip off - a total misrepresentation of a premium burrito and im not happy. I feel they were slimy and dishonest to think i wouldn't notice is willful ignorance and i feel completely taken advantage of. It doesnt matter that it taste good...they destroyed my trust and confidence and they exposed their integrity of being low-ball Bush-league. Ill never go back. They lost my business forever.

It appears the menu may have changed. I have only been there once before and ordered a two shredded beef combo plate and we were told last night while ordering they don't carry anything like that. Ended up ordering the original shredded beef burrito and whoa if you are watching your sodium intake DO NOT ORDER, the meat was over salted. Bummed out that the food wasn't as good as the first time. Also the taquitos on the menu I'm pretty sure come out of a box, at least they did not taste authentic.

I live down the street and come here at least once a week. I spend $30-$40 here everytime I come. This time I ordered the wrong burrito and even though I came back within minutes, with the receipt and whole burrito...the lady said she couldn't exchange it because it wasn't there fault, it was mine. I even offered to pay the difference on the other burrito but she said no and then turned to talk to the other ladies. They actually made the other (more expensive) Monster burrito I ordered WRONG. It was probably my fault for not checking before leaving the drive through so I ended up with a surprise burrito.

The people are nice here but the food is mediocre at best. It's a bit overpriced for what you get. A lot of the burrito I got was just filler and there wasn't anything special about it. If you're in a crunch at the gas station it's better than the beef jerky buy I would recommend any other place for mexican food.

If I could put NO star would be it !! Most disappointing , and frustrating experience. We never had an issue with Primos when we lived in SD. Tonight I went thru the drive thru on Winchester and the order was chicken nachos , bean and rice burrito (NO cheese) ,, the receipt says it , yet was given Nacho Fries , and 1/2 a burrito full of cheese. So a dinner we couldn’t eat and Topper I tipped , spent over $30 and tried 10 times calling and NO response! I have photos of what we got with receipt. Now reading reviews they seem to do poor business and not taking care of their customers.

Someone on the night shift is stealing from your customers adding in tip before having you sign. I got a regular cali burrito and the total came to 16.68 and not 14.68 then they ask for a tip on top of that this is crazy and you need to check your staff

You guys charge $12.00 for your so called "super nachos" and it's mostly chips and barley any meat, it is a total rip off and at Albertos down the street you pay $7 for a Monster plate of Nachos your guys are a** and overcharge your food that's not worth it. It was my second visit. I ordered adobada Nachos. Thirty minutes later I was having severe nausea. A little after that I was violently ill. I can't even stomach the smell inside the establishment without feeling queezy. Still trying to contact restaurant about it. No response after three attempts.

I wish I had seen Alicia's review before I ate here. I ordered the Adobada Burrito (Marinated Pork). About 2 hrs later I started to have a nausea. About 2 1/2 hrs later I was in the work bathroom stall violently ill. I was so sick that I couldn't even leave the company bathroom to go home. The only good thing to come of this is everyone in our company knows not to eat here. Never eating here again.

Was over charged. And their prices are sky high to begin with. Taco Tuesday special is street tacos 2.50 ea. I ordered 4. 4@$2.50=$10 medium drink $3.70 tax $1.70 = $15.40. I was charged $21.... And no one could understand my issue. Good food but shady

We ordered a breakfast burrito at about 9am 02/03 at the drive thru. The total was $10 but the CC charge posted as $13 so they added $3 as unauthorized tip. Make sure to double check your receipt vs actual charge if you dine here.

Nice clean place. The worker running the cash register was very friendly and had a great attitude. I got the cali burrito with adobada. The whole tortilla was burnt so every bite tasted burnt. I did not enjoy it. For a 15 dollar burrito I expected more

Ordered two monster surf and turf burritos. instead , i got a rice and bean burritos with literally 3 shrimps and very little meat. Why would you cheat your customers like this? I got to say: the girl who took my order was super nice

I’m 4-5 times a week customer , but yesterday on Taco 🌮 Thursday 11/05/17 around 11 pm. I’m stop to order adobada or carnitas tacos 🌮 10/$10 the LAZY cooking guy said don’t have 😡😡😡 only chicken 🐔. That’s kind of employees, boycotts they jobs and the places where they work. Today 03/21/ 2024 9:14 pm I ordered TJ TORTA, brings carnitas, slices ham, chipotle sauce, jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes,and guacamole… ❌🚫❌ again the LAZY MANAGER don’t have tomatoes and ham to complete my order 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

Arrived at the drive thru 15 min before closing time. There were 3 cars ahead of me. Pulled up in front of the order sign and waited over 10 min. When the other cars were all gone, I pulled up to the window, just a few minutes until 11. was told that they were closed. Would have been nice to have told me that over the speaker. Don't think I will go back and be embarrassed again.

Fix your menus online. Then maybe a higher star. Showing up for potato items and then you not having any is not fun.

The supreme taquitos were so disgusting! Smh disappointing and they DO NOT give refunds. Don’t waste your money here.

Came in today, asked for a monster burrito without pico. They and sour cream. They messed up with pico on it came back gave them the burrito. They replaced it with a small burrito instead of a monster burrito told them that it was a monster burrito. They took the small burrito back, opened it up, spread it the meat out and just wrapped another tortilla around it so they tried to get away with giving me a small burrito Instead of a monster burrito. It really isn’t worth saving three strands of corn Asada meat to be dishonest to your customers, your restaurant is not that in need of $10 to steal $10 from a customer. That’s very disappointing. The food was OK but the service is not up to par if you have to steal from your customers and make a monster burrito, a small burrito Very disappointing

I paid $20 for a bowl of pozole and a medium soda that didn’t even have any syrup in it so it just tasted like soda water. I sat in the drive thru for 11 minutes with zero cars ahead of me. The food is pretty good, but there’s no reason for it to take that long or cost that much. If you have a drive-thru, the customer should be able to expect more expedient service.

I got a to go surf and turf fajitas which was $24 with tax and when I got home and opened it it was only a regular steak fajitas which was 4 dollars cheaper. On top of that the portions of meat was so little for the price of $20+. The food was okay but the service and mistake is unacceptable
