Recensioni di El Real Terminal
Just wrapped up a fantastic Carnival cruise out of Port Canaveral’s Terminal 3, and I have to say—this place is a game-changer compared to the Port of Miami. The terminal itself is beautiful—modern, spacious, clean, and bright with great design and plenty of seating. It feels fresh and well-thought-out, way less chaotic than Miami’s setup. The big win? Everything went so much smoother. Lines moved quickly from drop-off/parking through security and check-in—no endless waiting or massive crowds like I’ve dealt with in Miami. We got through embarkation in record time and were on the ship relaxing way sooner than expected. Disembarkation was equally efficient too. Shoutout to the Carnival staff—every single one we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. They kept things organized, answered questions with a smile, and made the whole process feel welcoming and stress-free. If you’re choosing between ports for your next Carnival sailing, do yourself a favor and pick Port Canaveral Terminal 3. It’s prettier, smoother, and just a better overall vibe. Highly recommend—can’t wait to sail from here again! 🚢✨
Probably one of the easiest ports to get in and out. Don't know of it was the timing, but luggage was taken very quickly by the porters. First place with a parking deck, but it was full and sent to the overflow lot. They did have a shuttle to come pick us up that was quick and the driver friendly. Not a long walk from drop off to terminal entry. Quickly went through check-in and to the ship. Boarding was super easy and did not have to zig zag up the gangway. Pretty much inline with ship entry doors. On the return shuttle did not take long for pickup and dropped us off right at the car. Would leave from this port again.
These people have got it together. Everything ran smoothly and as quickly as you can get 6000 people through a line. Security was friendly but strict about following the rules that were expected to be followed. The property is kept clean and its a better place to board a ship than others I've visited.
Overall, the boarding process was extremely easy, organized and efficient! The staff at the terminal were all great, helpful, some were funny and they all set the right tone to start my cruise vacation. The bathrooms were clean, modern facilities and comfortable seating areas. Baggage service was great for boarding and off-boarding. No complaints at all. Only thing is the traffic was a bit heavy upon arrival but that was expected. I would definitely cruise out of Port Canaveral again!
This port was one of the easiest I’ve ever navigated, and it set a great tone for the start and end of our cruise. From the moment we arrived, everything felt organized and efficient. The signage was clear, the layout made sense, and there was no confusion about where to go next. That alone takes away a lot of the stress that can come with cruise embarkation and disembarkation. The cleanliness of the facility stood out immediately. The waiting areas, restrooms, and check-in counters were all spotless, which really made a positive impression. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment for travelers. The personnel were not only professional but also genuinely friendly. You could tell they enjoyed their jobs—smiling, greeting guests warmly, and offering help without being asked. This kind of attitude makes a huge difference when you’re starting or ending a vacation. I’ve been through other cruise terminals, including the one in New Orleans, and I have to say this port sets a much higher standard. The New Orleans terminal could definitely learn a thing or two from the team here. From efficiency to friendliness, this port makes the entire process smoother and more pleasant. Overall, the staff’s professionalism and positivity elevated the entire travel experience. They turned what is often the most stressful part of a cruise—boarding and disembarking—into something enjoyable. I truly appreciate the effort, and it’s one of the reasons I’d happily sail from this port again.
Came here to terminal 3 to celebrate our kids' graduations and 2nd Sisters Cruise. Easy boarding process with no long wait to get on ship. Parking was easy and convenient with elevators that didnt take long between floors. Leaving the port was not as nice but still fast and worth parking in the garage. It was a week cruise so it was $125
Port Canaveral Carnival Terminal – Excellent Experience from Start to Finish! We recently used the Carnival terminal at Port Canaveral, and the experience was smooth, professional, and very well-organized. From the moment we arrived, everything was clearly marked with helpful signage and friendly staff directing passengers. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the terminal itself was clean, modern, and spacious with comfortable seating and air conditioning. Security and boarding procedures were handled quickly, and the staff maintained a cheerful attitude while moving large crowds with ease. Parking was convenient, and porters were available right away to help with luggage, making the process stress-free. Embarkation and disembarkation were both handled impressively well. Overall, Port Canaveral's Carnival terminal sets a high standard for cruise port operations. Whether it's your first cruise or your tenth, you'll appreciate the organization, friendliness, and efficiency here. Highly recommended!
Super easy to navigate around the area. Not that much around besides the beach which was a hike for those who have to walk as a means to travel. But there’s signs everywhere and police guards all around. You have to have your ids and cruise Id as well to leave and to return. But what a pleasant experience. Thank you
We arrived to the port to take a Carnival Cruise. It’s small a pretty organized. We walked past the guys checking the luggage because they were sitting down and we didn’t notice them. Once inside the port was like all the others, repeat your name five times and keep moving. We had an early time to board the ship. We were in group B. I stood up and walked five steps to use the vending machine. My family was sitting with my back pack and a building security guard approached me and berated me for leaving my luggage unattended. As they started to call the groups to board the same tiny security guard began to yell at people to sit down until your group was announced. Unfortunately the public address system is very weak and you cannot understand any of the announcements. Get rid of that mean little woman and fix the announcements and the place was perfect.
Just about an hour from Orlando, Port Canaveral is where the land ends and the ocean begins — the bustling gateway for travelers boarding and disembarking from the magnificent Carnival Mardi Gras. When we first departed, everything felt smooth — wide open terminals, organized lanes, plenty of parking, and a sea breeze that instantly told you, “the adventure starts here.” The ship itself looked spectacular, gleaming under the Florida sun like a floating skyline waiting to set sail. But when we returned from the cruise, things took an unexpected turn. There was a major issue at immigration that morning — something must have gone off-script — and the entire disembarkation process slowed to a crawl. Everyone, from families with kids to elderly passengers, had to queue for almost two hours. You could feel the frustration ripple through the crowd. It wasn’t anyone’s fault on board, but it did put a damper on what was otherwise a perfectly organized port experience. Apart from that hiccup, the port itself is well-designed and generally efficient. There’s plenty of parking, clearly marked zones for drop-off and pick-up, and friendly port staff doing their best to keep things moving. Still, I wish there were dedicated help desks or traveler assistance counters — somewhere official where people could ask for transportation guidance or help arranging onward travel after the cruise. After a long trip at sea, having that would make a world of difference. Visually, the port is beautiful — wide horizons, gleaming ships, and the occasional pelican gliding by. But be warned: each terminal is far apart. If you’re thinking of walking from one to another with luggage… don’t. Even driving between terminals takes time, so it’s best to plan your route or pick-up spot in advance. In the end, despite the immigration chaos, Port Canaveral remains one of the better cruise ports I’ve been through — clean, scenic, and impressively modern. Just be prepared for the unexpected (and maybe pack a little extra patience). After all, every great journey ends with a story — and this port gave me one worth telling.
This was a quick 3 day cruise! The food definitely was a disappointment. Feel like they could have had more shows. The crew was always happy and very helpful. The rooms were a good size. Balcony defimetly the way to go. Our waiter at dinner Oliver was amazing! The steak house good was on point!
