This restaurant is in a beautiful location on a lake called Presa de La Vega (close to the town of Teuchitlán). It's a former hotel, but now only the restaurant survives. The menu is mostly seafood, but they do have some traditional Mexican dishes as well... There is a beautiful patio that overlooks the lake with lily pads and pelicans. It's definitely worth stopping here after you've traveled to Guachimontones.

Lovely spot, but the meals were lacking flavor. Arachera was tough. Stuffed chicken was very good. Shrimps were small the breaded ones appeared to be frozen premade. The offer shrimp broth was delightful. Service was impeccable top notch!

Nice sea food and fish dishes. The atmosphere is very nice and the dish size is huge. The price is s little bit expensive for the quality of the food but I still recommend it.

Everyone was great! But one server was extremely rude! He was telling my party what to order and what they could eat and not eat. When I asked for Pulpo he wouldn’t make it how I wanted. He said here we don’t do it that way then I don’t get it when they say “al gusto” when I’m not able to order a mi gusto. My family and I came from far away to eat okay food that in reality took forever to come to Ku table. When I asked the waiter the status of my food he replied with “te dije que ordenarás algo para empezar pero no quisiste”. Will never come back here and if y’all want to have a wonderful experience don’t come here as well.

I have eaten here a few times because my brother in law loves it. The view is nice. The service is good, but the food is just ok. I ate there before I was vegan and now again that I am vegan. The food is adequately prepared. Nothing special in seasoning or cooking methods. It will do if you are in the area and you are hungry.

DO NOT EAT HERE. It was very dirty and unclean on the outside, so imagine how it must be behind closed doors. Our food was cold, had little to no flavor at all, they had unsanitary animals walking around where the people eat, and worst of all; I GOT SALMONELLA FROM THE CHICKEN. Save yourself the money and pain and eat somewhere else.
