I've always liked sonic but this one I loved, I don't know if I got lucky but the guy that was working there was really nice and sweet and guessed exactly what I wanted when I was having a brain fart. Never ordered here before but I told him I wanted something cold. And he brought out the exact order I always get at other sonics. Amazing.
First time visiting this location. Super fast, friendly & order was made correct. I think by far the best sonic I've been to in DFW so far.
Their "Happy Hour" drinks are a great value. The "unsweetened" ice-tea is always spot on. (Unlike some places where the ice-tea tastes like it was made yesterday)
Went for a quick dinner before a symphony, it was delicious! However, I was vegetarian for the week to support a friend, and was surprised with how little vegetarian friendly options there were. Bit, still ended up being delicious.
I have been a frequent patron of sonic over the years, in different towns/cities throughout Texas and I always come away with the conclusion that the sonic off of Memorial/Main in The Colony is the best. My order is correct but my favorite part is the customer service. As of late, I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with Alex. This young lady hustles but doesn’t make you feel like she’s throwing your food at you and running. She (and the guy on the other end of the speaker) is always friendly and courteous, which is impressive as they only have a minute if that to make a good impression on ya. Oh yeah and the food is good too, my favorite is the Ultimate meat and cheese burritos! Yum!

Tonight it was storming and after paying for our food and drinks the establishments lights went out both inside and outside. The team that worked tonight did a fantastic job at STILL getting food and drinks out to everyone and were very professional in handling that situation! You go guys!
Ordered on the app. As soon as I got there, I filled out what stall I was at, and a young lady delivered my food. Every dause every item was perfect.
I don’t ever write reviews, but this sonic is the best I’ve been to. The customer service is comparable to Starbucks...really really awesome. They are always busy ( great sign). They are very fast and efficient. I love this sonic!
Got there mid afternoon. They were actually quite busy. Placed my order... I was expecting a long (approx 10 min) I WAS SURPRISED!!! They got my order out in about 6 or 7 minutes, with a smile as always. I tipped her big, and my order (12" Long Chili/Cheese Coney) was perfect. Thanks y'all, for another good experience at Sonic. Consistency and great customer service are key. This is the best Sonic I've been to & I'm so glad I live right across from it. They always get the order right. They're friendly over the speaker and in-person, & they try to be as quick as possible with delivery. And they're tater tots taste delicious-- not like other locations that taste like old oil!
Recently went and the #1 was outstanding I haven't had a good burger from SONIC in a very long time. Usually they are sloppy. Not this it was tasty and fresh and ultra fast. Super surprised by the quickest delivery to the car every. I really cant explain how yummy that burger was. I should of took a picture silly to give such a rave review about the sandwich from SONIC but it really was good.
Although they were very busy, they got to taking my order pretty quickly and the order didn't take very long to come out. The way Chris was really friendly and even went back in to get me some ranch dipping sauce. All in all it was a great experience.
I'm not a big fan of sonic the food itself, but each to their own, but yet the ocean water is the greatest thing to exist. Anyways, the person who served us our food was hilarious! Very enthusiastic and we had no trouble as the food did come to us quickly.
The staff is very Friendly. Hamburger meat was hot and the tater tot for very hot. Just the way I like. I drove an extra 2 miles to come to this sonic. It's got to do with a good manager. Keep up the good work.

It's sonic. What you expect food wise. However, the servers are super nice. How sad it is that the sonic app does not allow tipping here because these folks deserve every penny. Unfortunately I don't always have a tip because I use the app. I wish sonic would get their act together as far as making sure the people that make them money, benefit. Other than the app issues, the colony sonic rocks.. these are really nice folks.
Stopped by for a few snacks and a sonic coke, they were beyond busy but everyone was working hard and I still got my order in just a few minutes. The staff was very courteous too
Again, it is sonic, I feel like there's so much on the menu you're bound to find something you would like or if you have a picky child I'm sure you would find something on the menu they would be happy with. They have great shakes, slushies smoothies, flavored sodas, limeades. Sonic does rock their drinks. Their regular cheeseburger I would give it a 5 out of 10. And if you are in a hurry you're better off going to McDonald's. Don't let the roller skates fool you, Sonic is not known for their speed. Just my experience take it for what it's worth.
Order was correct. My burrito was very fresh! It had just come off the griddle. It was delicious. My tea was fairly tasty. I think it was getting close to the bottom of the barrel.
So I don’t normally eat Sonic as it’s generally just sub par fast food, well that wasn’t the case today. First off I get there and they are super busy. Every staff member was out there working hard including what looked like the manager. Then my food comes out and not only was the manager (I’m assuming) super nice when he handed my food but my burger was probably the best Sonic burger I’ve had. It was very neat and honestly I was in disbelief at how good the burger was. It was hot and fresh and rivaled most restaurant burgers. I’m not a reviewer of any sort but my meal blew me away today.
I've been back a few times recently after not eating fast food for a long time. Seems they have made some serious improvements since the last time I updated my review. Food has consistently been fresh and delicious..the way I remember it used to be! Very happy with my most recent visits. Not anymore sadly... The BEST Sonic location!!

Not the best Sonic location, but gets the job done. It may just be a Sonic thing in general, but I feel like 1/10 visits there is some major problem. I usually just stick to the drinks as they're cheap, delicious and a quick order without mistakes.
The customer service is spectacular the food was hot and fast. The only thing I did not like was that there was a carhop employee working with a hurt ankle. She had a boot on and her leg looked swollen. Now what kind of establishment would allow this? Not cool. I urge the manager of this sonic to have a heart and to treat his or her employees with dignity, integrity and respect. Along with paid time off even if she has the right to it or not! It's things like this that should help everyone see how inhumane it is to have someone working like this. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE
Sonic has the best Shakes, Double Cheese Burgers With Bacon, and their Onion rings are great too! And good employees who take good care of you. No messed up orders.
Today was a mostly good day at Sonic in The Colony. We ordered three drinks. The drinks arrived reasonably quickly. And, we got the correct drinks (not always a given at this location). But, as is too often the case, the drink lids were not marked and we had to decipher between the Diet Coke and the Dr. Pepper.
We came here for the new cold brew coffee. The coffee is available in regular or French vanilla, but of course you good always add another flavor to it. Coffee is good, i enjoyed it. Service was a little slow for there only being 7 cars. It took us about 10 minutes to get coffee and popcorn chicken.
Great place for getting a quick bite or meal at a good price. They have a happy hour from 4pm to 7pm or 24 hours happy hour of ordered through the sonic app. Nice menu for kids and family. Great Customer service. ENJOY! UPDATE: BRAND NEW FLAVORS for slashes and drinks.

This location has had issues with not serving hot tots or fries. I don't know if they're trying to protect the community from burned tongues or whatever, but those tots and fries are terrible. Update 3-11-20 So.. today.. I went to sonic, against my better judgement. And, instead of the smashed bag of burger contents, I got what you see in the pics... Good job sonic. The flavor was still blandish, but leaps better than the past 15 years. Pay no mind to the chick fil-a cup.

I decided to order a hot fudge sundae for my wife and an oreo blast for myself. So, I get home, and I was ready to indulge only to have a few oreos in my blast. Why call it an oreo blast when there is no oreos. My wife complained about her sundae not having much hot fudge. They made it appear as if it was full by applying fudge to the outer edges. When she dug in, it was all cream. She might as well had ordered a vanilla ice cream cone. 🙄 I guess Sonic is focusing on their profit margins 🤔
Very dissaponted. I orderd Honey BBQ Sauced Jumbo Popcorn Chicken. Got plain chicken tenders with a side of bbq sauce and sounds like my parents got attitude when ordering too. Guess it's time for a break from Sonic
This is a drive up so it's difficult to rate atmosphere.
Been here three times, but only actually ordered one. The other times no one responded when I hit the button. You can't keep overworking the few employees who are willing to work for your slave wages.
Its sonic food is good but they always put cheese on my burger. I order a Sonic burger they put cheese on it. The sign says #1 Sonic Cheese burger. But if you say sonic burger you still get cheese. I stopped going to this location after I ordered a meal and they gave me a large tater tots when I wanted just a regular size. They refused to give me a free meal for screwing up my order so I don't spend my money here any more.
This Sonic is the slowest fast food place I have ever been to. Be prepared to wait a very long time (at least 20 minutes) for your order. Every time I've gone I've literally seen like one employee there just working hard and haulin it as fast as possible so I think their problem is they need more staff. Food comes out as you would expect from a Sonic but please speed it up and hire some more employees!
They get my order wrong every time I go. How hard is it. Overpriced
No issues with the food or staff, but the stalls are awful. The speakers are almost always screeching loud and difficult to hear through, and twice in a row I’ve pulled up and the display screen has been broken (different stalls) and they had to manually run my card. Really off putting and makes me question how well maintained the rest of the building is.
Dropped in for a quick snack before heading out to a movie, and this was a pretty run of the mill experience. Sonic now has this "Order Tracking" type of mechanic that shows up at the bottom of the touch screen after you order. Well, after about 5 minutes it got to the point where it said "Your order is on the way!", and after about 2 minutes it went away. 3 minutes later (we're at 10 minutes AFTER the mozzarella sticks and slush were supposed to be out, if you're counting) the car hop comes out and delivers the food. She was nice and clearly being overworked, as she seemed to be the only one taking any orders out to the waiting cars. Probably the last time I'll come back to this one.
Went here last night. The lady that took our order didn't put anything in right, we had to repeat ourselves multiple times. The food, drinks and ice cream products are usually pretty good. Sometimes there is a long wait, sometimes there isn't, just depends on when you go.
Always my favorite spot for happy hour! They always have fresh tea available and the carrots are always friendly and quick. They always remember who I am and I appreciate that, even if I haven't been there in awhile. **Update** I don't know what happened to the tea, if they changed brand or if they got new tea, or if they are not making it properly, but, it absolutely is not the same and it sucks, I won't be getting tea from here any longer. 😢
I ordered a cherry limeade after 3 sips my tongue was bright red, looked like i downed a bottle of dye. The service was fast though
A carhop crew member working around 4PM on Jan 12th whose name starts with the initial M (redacting the rest to respect their privacy online) stated and argued with me that the chicken bites don’t come with any dipping sauce, and that any sauce would be an extra charge. After showing the crew member the Sonic app and it displaying dipping sauce as “What’s on it” with the chicken bites, he then stated, “Sorry, but the app is wrong and that’s false advertisement.” Not trying to get anyone in hot water. Just identifying a situation where a product refresher training could be beneficial.
Got a 5pc. Chicken tender combo and the chicken was not fresh at all. Warm but hard and obviously sat for a long time before it was served. I was very disappointed. On the other hand, I love the strawberry limeade.
Camila was a horrible server. She came out to the stall and said absolutely nothing and handed me my drinks that were leaking everywhere (she gave no napkins), and when I turned back, she was gone. Didn't even bring out our food, so I had to walk into the doors and request the manager who was very professional and went above and beyond to make the situation right. He apologized and remade the drinks and sent out the food AND refunded our money, which I'm glad because it was not fresh 🫠 or even warm. I only gave the 3 stars because the manager, Dillon, was so great.

I ordered my food and then 3 minutes later the screen said my order was on the way and yet I waited 12 minutes until she showed up. But I had to push the red button 1st to remind them I was still there. I worke drive-through and if we ran that this way times would be killer bad and management should be ashamed.
Wow! I just had the most negative experience at our local sonic. I placed an order for a number 1 and number 7 and when they brought me my order I saw that they had forgotten one of my tots. So when I asked for my Tots they said that I did not order a meal that I only ordered a cheeseburger and a route 44 drink separately , the 15 yo “manager” proceeded to charge me $2.15 for my tots. I told her that I already paid $7.08 for a $6.99 meal that I didn’t receive so I should or have to pay for everything separately. Just charge me the up charge for my drink and we will be even. Thy COULD NOT understand this. This went On for 20 minutes while my food got cold and my ice cream melted. Then she said she would have to cancel my entire order and charge it out again in order to collect my $1.03 difference that I owed her. I asked if it was worth all of this over a two dollar order of tater tots that THEY rang up wrong! and she replied “ma’am this is a business”. Just unbelievable! No such thing as customer service anymore. They lost this one.
The servers are nice but I cannot remember ever having my order right. I always get the same thing. I asked for a cheesecake master shake with no cherry and no whipped cream. My usual. This time was different. They placed my order on the screen stating no Graham crackers. I repeated my order for them so they can correct it and they still added cherry and added strawberries. Not just a few. The entire bottom of the cup had strawberries.
Giving it two stars purely because I've never had a problem with the food itself, it is standard quality you'd get at any sonic. Otherwise my main issue is that they are consistently one of the slowest Sonic's I've ever been to. Every single time I've been (at least 5-10 times) there is always a slow down when ordering and actually getting the order, even for very simple drink orders. I've given them lots of chances because I like sonic and their menu but I've stopped coming here as often because of the poor service.
We did a take out order on this place and they were missing some items. One of our orders includes a pretzel but they did not add the cheese sauce. We even specifically asked the person who brought our order if it has the cheese and he said yes. My advise is you always check your order and don't assume they get it right.
Burger was gray and cool, bacon was tiny and poorly cooked. Fries were greasy and cold. Iced tea is good.
As a customer I want this place to succeed... So giving feedback 1: that the button on Bay 4 does not work: no message that says button was activated and we will be with you… which you normally get 2: bay 6 screen is not working So pulled into bay 10 pressed the red button and in less than 60 seconds got someone to take the order. Success! Food delivery person was courteous and great! Told the order attendant: “Bay 4 and Bay 6 not working because of 1 and 2 above”. Response: “It’s lying to you. They work, you just have to wait. Only one with cones in front of the bay do not work” 😳🤔🤦🏽♂️ — This need improvement! To the owner: it so much better to manage customer expectations by taking the real-time feedback and checking to see if the stuff is actually working… otherwise folks wait in 100 degree heat and just get frustrated for no good reason. Please check Bay 4 and Bay 6!
Went tonight to ask if they still have the crispy chicken tender wrap. I was confronted by a rude women already starting off with an attitude. I ignored it and just went on with my order. We then had miscommunication and instead of responding in a professional manner she yelled at us. I then told her what’s her problem and raised my voice as well. Then she cancelled the order. If you can’t handle customer service don’t work in. I didn’t even get her name.
This location needs a drastic overhaul. One the branding is behind on the color scheme. Two, the stalls need new technology as the screens have like 200 nits brightness, busted speakers/receivers. Lastly, and most importantly, it’s terribly slow. It can take many minutes to be acknowledged on a button press and even longer to get food.
I have been here before and had exceptional service except for just now. When I ordered, I do know that meals come with a choice of fries or tater tots, but for some reason today Ijust told the person the drink only and proceeded with the second part of the order. This person was a bit rude and said there were two parts to complete the first order. Now, I did forget telling them this (sans fries/tots)but there was no need to get rude at all. I worked fast food before and that is no way to maintain clientele. The person who brought the order to the car however, was extremely nice.

My husband ordered food at your store one day back in May through the app and was turned away because your servers were down and was told to call corporate about the order not being completed. After several emails, a phone call where someone said he’d be refunded in 10 days (never was) and another phone call where customer service said they couldn’t help, we still don’t have our money back. We are upset with how poorly sonic has handled things and wanted to see if someone at this location could help as we haven’t had problems here any other time... thanks!
I ordered mozzarella sticks, they came out cold and hard as a brick. A terrible waste of calories. I’m very disappointed and they aren’t cheap. Who ever served these up I’m sure you wouldn’t have liked them yourself.
Waited 20 mins for a drink😡🤬🤬😡 When I ask why it was taken so long for one drink. He told me he didn't know. He had to go and hunt the the drink to see who had it. The fact I waited 20 minutes for a drink that had been sitting there was not acceptable. I refuse to drink a drink that sat for 20 minutes. If this is the type of business that will be ran I will goto social media to let people know to choose another restaurant to do business with! You wouldn't want a drink or food that have been sitting for 20 minutes.
Ordered through the app at 8:09 pm and didn’t receive my food until 8:45pm, while annoying it’s understandable and happens sometimes. But during those 36 minutes they brought out two wrong orders and by the time we did get our food it was obvious it had been sitting for awhile as it was cold and our icecream was half melted. Worst sonic experience ever.
Staff here are consistently rude and cut you off when trying to order. They’re also extremely slow and could not care less. The food is always cold and uninteresting. This location particularly sucks.
Place is TRASH!! Hours say open until 12. We pull up at 1120, press the button and wait for 15 mins. We happened to catch an employee outside as asked what was the deal which he responded “we’re not taking orders.” Would be SUPER great to tell someone instead of allowing them to sit there Honestly didn’t even seem legit because the guy was laughing. The guy taking orders on 4/7/24 was rude and impatient, he needs to go home, clearly didn't want to be there. Guy that brought out the food was really nice and the food was hot and correct.
Never going again. Stopped by for milkshakes for my grandkids. Lady in front of us was at the drive through for 14 minutes. I backed up after 8 mins pulled into a space and ordered. She finally drove out after 14 minutes. When our order came I asked why was the lady blocking the whole drive throughfir 14 minutes. I was told she was waiting for drinks!! Really?? Why does it take 14 minutes to get drinks and why didn't anyone who works there tell her not to block the drive through. Park and wait for ur drinks. Never saw anything like that!! I'm done there!
Wow this location is horrible. Made an online order I get there and it takes them fifteen minutes to answer when I pushed the button literally four car in parking lot. When they did answer that brought my food immediately. So mean it wa just sitting there . Food was cold and sprite was out. Lousy service
Took my 80 yr old mother to Sonic today at 1:02 pm She had just gotten out of a week long hospitalation. And all she wanted was a Corn dog!! I was parked in stall number 3 This was the most unprofessional service I ever experienced at Sonic! The server name Marcya talked extremely FAST! Everytime I tried to tell her what I wanted she cut me off I asked her if the Extra long coney was Beef like number 6 on the menu she then responded with a bad attitude and replied let's start over.I repeated my order twice.I then said maybe there's a delay. I told her I need to add tater tots to the order as well. She proceeded with You would like to have tater tots. I said yes She continue with trying correct my vocabulary. Not sure if she's aware that it's rude to correct a perfect stranger! My recommendation get someone who has manners on the intercom. Terrible Customer Service!! Wow. They messed up our order and when I asked for the right thing they said it was my fault because I didn't say anything in the minute it was on the screen (when I was busy getting my card to pay and making sure I said everything correct with my family) so if I want something else I need to order and pay for it. I'm sorry what? It was a size difference and I highly doubt it would have cost them much to correct it. I wasn't even mean or anything, I just asked for the correct size. Went there this Sunday to order food during happy hour time near 4 PM the lady that place placed our order was speaking entirely too fast and rushing us to order and had a very unprofessional attitude. Not only with us she was rude with other customers as well as we could hear her loudly through the microphone this resulted in her getting her order incorrect when we clearly ordered a number six and she completely left it off the tab and then made us pay for an extra tater tot when we ordered it originally but due to her unprofessionalism and speaking fast she got the order incorrectly. We also ordered a grape slush in which she literally entered a regular cherry limeade our order was completely incorrect. The manager of this place is extremely unprofessional and displays a very unhappy negative attitude.
They get a F in my book pulled up and waited over 25minutes just sitting in my car waiting to order others were waiting even longer. Looking at other reviews, just avoid this location.
The workers are great but whoever owns this place is a joke. I've been waiting 30 minutes for my food. Pay your workers a decent wage and stop under staffing. I can't imagine what your poor workers are going through right now.
I brought my grandmother here for some good treats for her birthday. The guy who was taking the orders on 3/31 was very rude with a nasty attitude. My grandmother was very disappointed with the service.
Tried to order a plain burger for my toddler who wasn't feeling well. Lady who took my order was very rude about it and with an attitude said "Well what do you want on it? Let's make this easy." I get enough difficulty with my kid, don't need it from the service staff.
I arrived at Sonic at 8:50am this morning. I pulled into the stall to purchase my team breakfast. As soon as a woman asked me what I would like to order in a not very friendly manner/tone I began my order that I would like three supreme burritos. Ss I continued my order she interrupted me and asked me what again I would like. I spoke up a little and repeated my order and she said "Ok but which ones,?!" and mumbled "idiot" I immediately said "Oh no, ma'am" and started to reverse my vehicle with my window still down as the shock from being spoke to so rudely settled in-at a place that I am CHOOSING to spend my money and she said "Bye Bit**". I love using Sonic's mobile app to place an order, especially since right now you will receive half-price drinks by ordering through the app. I actually placed my Sonic order this visit while I was already in the parking lot of the restaurant. After submitting my order through the app, I immediately checked in on the app and entered the stall number; the Sonic screen in the stall showed my name and said that the order was now in the kitchen, so I know that their system accurately reflected that I had arrived. So I start getting pretty thirsty and a bit bored... 25 minutes later, I pushed the red button on the stall screen to inquire about why I had not yet received my order and the attendant said they would have it "right out". The carhop said that "for some reason the computer didn't let them know that I had arrived"... The drinks were fine, but all of the food items were cold and my hot dog was overcooked from apparently being left under the warming light too long. No concession was made by the restaurant for the order taking 25 minutes or for the cold food. Quite honestly, I wasn't willing to wait another 25+ minutes for replacement food, either. I won't be back to this location.
UPDATE: unfortunately this is my second time I’ve tried to reach out to anyone above the actual store manager and no one ever reached back out to me. I emailed multiple times and called and nothing. Late night order takers are extremely rude. I stopped coming here to this specific sonic and go out of my way to drive an extra 10 minutes to go to a different store for this exact reason and unfortunately I decided against my better judgment to come here tonight and was met with the same exact situation.
I just ordered a strawberry drink from here not only did the guy who took our order ignored my repeated request for a STRAWBERRY drink, he brought a cherry drink when I asked for the drink I ordered he proceeded to argue that he took my order and I said cherry, I am allergic to cherries, I did not say this and instead of even offering to ring up another drink that I would be happy to pay for he tried to get me to take the drink. I refused and he TOOK MY RECEIPT. Just record when you order because they will mess up and blame you?
This location is the worst in north Texas, Daniel the car hop has an attitude issue and is costing them money. Telling everyone I know to avoid this specific Sonic location.
Apparently you can NOT order online for pick up at this particular sonic! My son walked up there before his football game, after realizing he left his wallet at school he asked if he could order online for pick up and was told No by the staff!!
How can people eat this greasy, disgusting excuse for “food”. The drive-in gimmick is cute and the food comes out relatively fast, but omg the food is so gross.
Stopped for refreshing drinks and we were disappointed. We ordered a half sweet half unsweetened tea and a watermelon slush. The tea was not prepared as requested and the slush was watered down. The tea was ok after it was remade. The watermelon slush was replaced with a strawberry limeade which was more disappointing. We didn't drink them. Additionally, the speakers that made it hard to hear when placing our orders do to the static coming through when staff spoke.
Won't go back... tall skinny black guy was chit chatting with his friend in the parking lot ... I waited 16 min.. no one else was there. Im sure my food was inside waiting for him to bring it to me.please hire better staff!!!
I ordered mozzarella sticks and asked for marinara sauce. I was then CHARGED $0.54 for TWO marinara sauces. Absolutely ridiculous!! I would give Sonic 0/5 stars if I could! #dobetter
went to the sonic located at 3750 Main St The Colony, Texas 75056 around 6:15 pm on 6-13-2025 and ordered 1 item. Strawberry real fruit slush. When i saw the item through the cup, the product was extremely colorless. Just as I assumed, the slush had no flavor and taste like water. I added real fruit and therefore paid a premium for practically water. When i brought this to the waiters attention, he came back with nothing in hand and stated that the manager informed him the machine wasnt working properly. My guess is management knew this and tried to get away with scamming as much money as possible until someone complained. As the worker reported back to me too fast for them to figure that out in that timeframe. I was offered to pay for a large drink instead as if I couldnt get a large fountain drink from anywhere. This was comical. I asked for and received a refund for the 1 product that I intentionally came to sonic for. Whatsmore, i still tipped the waiter $2 and left with nothing. I wasted time, gas, & tips. To make up for this, I wont be tipping the next sonic server unfortunately
This place refuses to open on time. You look in the window they just laughing and talking as you pressing the button and still waiting over 8 minutes later no response as you watching them thru the window talking, laughing joking around. No shame 13 minutes later and still no response. Another vehicle pulls up and they respond to that vehicle right away. Then they cancel my button. 14 minutes in push the button they finally take My order no apology no recognition
Sonic is doing everything they can to completely lose my business. 1. Their original app worked well. It was intuitive and worked just fine. I had it on my phone and regularly visited and used the app. THEN, Sonic revised the app they was completely NOT user friendly. I tried downloading twice and got frustrated trying to get it set up and working. I finally deleted it completely and greatly reduced my frequency of visits. 2. I was craving an ice cream. Sonic was the first place I spotted and pulled in. NOW, they made the front row all mobile app users (all empty). All of us traditional park and order customers (majority) now are relegated to pull in and stare at a wall. I've never liked these spots. 3. So, I relent and order my ice cream and a small water. NOW, they are charging $0.60 for a glass of water. There are way too many other options to stop and get better service. I think Sonic will drop to the very last option to get my business.
The new configuration is terrible. There are limited parking spaces where we can just order what we want. Those stalls are always full. There are open spaces but it is difficult to order there without a 10 year old to help. This is the 4th time we have given up and just left. We will miss eating there but obviously our patronage is not important.
It took over 10 minutes to order 2 drinks and another 20 minutes waiting for our drink order. We almost drove off. And the people serving your order expect to get a tip. Tips are optional from the people ordering, and should NOT be expected when you are waiting for OVER 30 MINUTES TO GET A ORDER. Clearly, they need to understand the concept of "tips". Tips are NOT A REQUIREMENT FROM CUSTOMERS AND SHOULD NOT BE EXPECTED WHEN YOU GIVE CRAPPY SERVICE. I can't even rate them on service, that's how horrible it was.
