I hardly ever rate anything 5star but this place deserves it. I'm traveling alone so prefer a takeaway. I tried my favorite meal ( lamb sag) at next door place. Nowhere near as good, also had a really good chicken madras. Really nice and chatty staff. Try it!!!

lovely cosy place! visited together with my partner who is celiac intolerant and needs gluten free options and this place had plenty of variety👌🏽 i had the prawn puree starter and my girlfriend some veggie pakoras, really nice and juicy! and the main courses did not disappoint either, we both ordered hot curries and we could still felt all the flavours! definitely recommended 👌🏽

This is my favorite Indian restaurant while vacationing in Lanzarote and I would say that eating here is on the to-do list every time I’m on the island. The restaurant is super cozy, the staff is very welcoming and service minded. My favorite meal is Chicken Tikka Sizzlar for main course and let me point out that the curry is simply amazing!!! For starters I usually get whatever the staff recommends, and I’m never disappointed. If you like wine like I do, then order either Bermejo or Yaiza, both of them are local and exquisite.

The place was very quiet when we went @ about 9pm, the waiter asked us what level of spice we wanted and made some recommendations. The food was so tasty and fresh. We had starters, main & sides 3 drinks each and it was less than €70!

Honestly the best indian on the island have been coming here for years. Titos is a gent and the food is the best you will ever taste and i have had alot of indian food the flavours are amazing so good you want to eat double portions. Really is a must try.

We did ask for vegan and minimum oil option and we have got what we wanted. Food was very nice, portions big, and owner gave us limonchello on the house. He was very hospitable and friendly. Love that place.

The early bird dinner special is great value for money. We were worried that with it being at a lower price point, the restaurant would lower the quality of the menu options, but everything was delicious. It works great if you and your dining partner order different starters, curries, and a rice and a naan to get to have a little taste of all the different flavors the kitchen is preparing. Excellent service! They have a variety of dishes i had not heard of back home in Norway. As I could only taste two of them, what I tasted was exceptionally good! I highly recommend this place. The waitress and host are very friendly and knowledgeable. And if you have the chance, ask about Indian whisky, they're fantastic!! I would go back in a heartbeat!

We asked about a takeaway, and the staff was happy to assist us. We ordered and had a beer while we waited. Roughly 15-20 minutes wait to cook, but it was well worth the wait. The food was amazing and still piping hot by the time we got to our apartment.

Came to Indian Zaffran for dinner with my family, and we really enjoyed! We had the 13€ menu, my family had for 13€, rice (we brought some home too) a starter (onion bhajis and chicken pakora) a mane course, an extra and dessert.. I had fish fingers and rice, and It was a decent size, the service was great, the man was really really nice to us..

The Best Indian I've Ever Had! So you've read the title and you're probably thinking that I'm exaggerating. Let me tell you, I'm not. I've had hundreds of Indian meals in my lifetime and this beautiful little restaurant in the old town of Puerto Del Carmen tops the lot. We visited for my fiancé's birthday and the restaurant really went the extra mile to make the meal so memorable. I had lamb tikka for starter. It came on a sizzling cast iron skillet with loads of onion, peppers and coriander. The lamb was beautifully cooked and extremely tender. My fiancé had prawn pakora, another outstanding starter. For the main course the waiter/manager/owner gave us really insightful information to help us choose our dishes. I went for the deluxe butter chicken. This was a different take on your standard butter chicken. It was unbelievable. I'm salivating just thinking about it. My partner had chicken tikka masala and enjoyed every bite. The mushroom pilau rice was also very tasty. I conscious that this is a very long review but I can't emphasise enough just how amazing this restaurant and its staff are. The day of our meal I reached out to the restaurant on Facebook to see if I could drop a cake and candles into them to surprise my fiancé. Unfortunately I couldn't locate a cake and messaged the restaurant to let them know. I was gobsmacked when a member of staff offered to try and locate a cake and candles for me, 1 hour before we were due to arrive. It was an amazing gesture and the cake was fantastic. We will definitely be returning when we come back to have our wedding in Lanzarote. Please see pictures below.

We have been lucky enough to visit Puerto Del Carmen several times over the last 18 months (including during the quieter pandemic weeks) and this restaurant has become a firm favourite. The staff are always friendly and attentive, but not overly so. Happy to help with options (one vegan and one vegetarian in the party) and obviously care about your dining experience. The food is always excellent, especially when you consider the "early bird" option we chose last night (between 5pm and 7pm) at €9.95 for 6 courses. We ended up having to take our leftovers away with us (although we did order another couple of side dishes), which they are happy for you to do. All in all a very enjoyable and tasty meal. Excellent value for money (especially the early bird menu) and one I would recommend you try should the curry cravings be irresistible whilst on holiday.

Absolutely astounding value. Served light as air poppadoms with chutney, very nice. Ordered onion bhaji / chicken tikka to start Large portions, very tasty and served hot. Main courses tikka Masala / korma were good portion, hot, nice enough but a little bland / too mild. Good size portion of tasty pilau rice and piping hot naan. Bombay potato a little cold. All that for EUR 10 each and then you get delicious ice cream and a glass of limoncello. A lovely welcome, friendly staff and great food at exceptional value. Hard to know how they do it so, we left a generous tip as costs soaring. Highly recommend.

Very helpful staff made me a place outside. Food was very nice, not as spicy as I asked for, but they did do me an off menu dish that tasted good. Didn't use the toilet, so can't comment, but place seemed very clean.

Really nice bloke taking my take away order. Read all the previous reviews and decided to give this a try. Well, I’ve had some curry’s over the last 35 years… some good and some very bad. Ordered a Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi… full price, not the 10 euro taster menu .. well, the chicken was nice and tender but oh my god the sauce was vile.. sorry to say this, but it tasted of burnt old oil.. with a hint of nutmeg.. the Nan was straight from Aldi or Lidl.. you get my point.. dire, sorry but it was awful 😞 Edited as I can’t seem to reply to your response. Thank you for a quick reply.. I noticed the open kitchen and was really impressed. I mean no harm to your business… but seriously and sincerely the meal wasn’t good. Perhaps people have different tastes, but a supermarket curry would have been better. Possibly just a bad choice of meal, or the Nan bread didn’t see the oven on this occasion. It was yesterday around 8pm.. it honestly tasted burnt or bitter.. with a strange nutmeg sort of taste.. all the best to you

Sorry, you were deffo the correct one, oppo Drunken Monkey, 1 lad had chat, was really dry cut up chicken tikka, I had puri, asked for it hot, wasnt was very bland and you brought out green chilli, the only lad that enjoyed the food was the one who had the mixed grill. the rest of starters and mains were not very tasty at all watery and bland, I asked from mine madras hot, again no take you just brought more green chilli paste, please don't blame others or say that its a competitor writing my review, it wasn't I see you have a lot of good reviews, but this was our experience, To say you didn't have tables of 8 booked just shows you are trying to avoid the feedback and push on to others, the same night alone, had a table full of asian ladies, that table maybe 8 to 12, then us at the same time. Maybe instead of blaming others and me making a mistake, perhaps you should say, OK it may have been a bad night. usually out comments are very positive.
