The tortillas are handmade. They serve a lot of food 😅. It's very good, and the prices are $100 to $200 pesos on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Personally, I liked it, and for what they serve, it's very good. They served me super fast.

Sometimes the wait is quite long, but once you're seated, the service is quick. Everything is delicious, homemade, and affordable. The chilaquiles are amazing, and the café con leche has just the right amount of ingredients. The only downside was that some diners (two young women in the morning, and a woman in the afternoon) were laughing horribly loudly—the kind of people who like to be the center of attention. Obviously, the staff can't say anything to them. But it's a really pleasant place to have breakfast and lunch. If you want the daily menu, I recommend going early because it sells out quickly due to its low prices. We didn't try it.

Los precios son accesibles, ya hay paquetes de desayunos, con fruta, jugo y café, hay distintos platillos en el menú, las quesadillas están decentes pero si les falta un mejor sabor y la tortilla parece de taco, no de quesadilla, sería un plus que manejen masa azul, el sason es distinto al de CDMX, lo más rico para mi fue la pechuga asada y las jarras de agua de sabor con hielo están excelentes para el calor, buena atención y amabilidad del personal, para mi fue el más rico de los distintos restaurantes y fondas, estuve un par de días y comí en varios para comparar!

Located in Tolantongo, perhaps because it was Sunday, the service was slow; there were few staff members and they brought the food from different establishments. Overall, the quality was good and the flavor was good. We had tacos and Mexican-style coffee, as well as pineapple.

Surprised by this place after reading reviews. Fairly busy on our arrival but we’re attended to straight away. Food came out quickly. Very fairly priced for a tourist trap location. Food was good, not amazing, but for the price and location, I would happily come back!

It was my favorite place to have breakfast. It's good overall. I forgot an item and came back for it and they gave it to me. Thank you very much. I liked the atmosphere and the music played by the Huapangos from the state of Hidalgo, getting to know their culture. The quesadillas were my favorite. The green enchiladas weren't so much. I felt like they were missing something.

La comida es buena, precio accesible; el ambiente del lugar es tranquilo. No se ve mucha gente consumiendo en este lugar pero sera porque se ve muy informal el lugar no se ve la comida como la preparan no se ve el menu ni los precios, seria cuestion de pasar y diafrutar el lugar tranquilamente sin problema

La atención bien solo que temprano solo ay el menú de desayunos no preparan nada más la comida regular

La calidad de los alimentos es moderada, pero eso sí: sirven las mejores papas a la francesa (papas fritas) que he probado en todo México, sin exagerar.

Todo dentro de lo esperado, solo que los tiempos de espera por comida es demasiado. Más de 40 min para recibir tu platillo es demasiado tiempo

I tried nothing but garnachas. Tlacoyos, gorditas, quesadillas, and honestly, they weren't as good as other options nearby. The stews weren't good; the tortillas were handmade but very dry. The fruit juice was very good. The service was indifferent (it was fast, even though I went at 10 am and there weren't many people), and the prices were "average," although it's one of the few options in the Tolantongo Caves. 👍🏾

The food depends on the dish. I ordered grilled meat and some pieces of meat were charred, others were raw. Terrible service, only 2 stars because one understands that there are many people who come to eat, but my mother had to tell them, "Can you serve us please?" They make a bad face if you don't leave them a good tip.

Sopes con textura y aspecto de tortilla gruesa, no son fritos y se aguadan. Enchiladas con pollo deshebrado hasta arriba, tortilla fria :(

Pesimo la comida es recalentada, ademas pesimo servicio, en la fonda que esta al exterior no nos quisieron atender literal, los meseros estaban sentados platicando, nos fuimos al restaurante y ahí lo mismo, tardan mucho para atender, tuve que ir hasta ellos para que nos tomaran la orden y todavia nos atienden con sus malas caras

The food is average. We ordered just eggs and they charged us as if it were a full plate, even though we only wanted the eggs. It bothers me how clumsy they can be, and they don't explain this beforehand. They're not missing out on anything by eating somewhere else.

Muy mal el servicio, deja mucho que desear, los meseros parecen que estan enojados, son muy payasos y mas aparte ya no me quisieron atender, dijeron que no habia ya nada y que esperaban que me retirara para cerrar, todo mal, aparte es un poco caro para la mala calidad que ofrecen, no es recomendable para nada.

Horrible servicio. Los meseros no tienen vocación para atender de una forma cordial, ademas un servicio súper lento a pesar de que era martes y no había mucha gente . Nuestro mesero estuvo de malas todo el tiempo como si nos estuviera haciendo un favor . La calidad de la comida honestamente no es lo mejor.

Mmm no es buena la comida la barbacoa con mucha grasa y no te la dan bien solo a pedazos igual que el consome mucha grasa, para el precio que lo ofrecen Mal servicio

The food was mediocre, the place was mediocre (even though birds fly into the restaurant), but the service was the worst imaginable. The guy who served us was rude, disrespectful, and had a bad temper. I almost got up to teach him how to treat people, what an idiot.
