Fuimos toda la familia, 18 personas y la comida y establecimiento es de 4 estrellas pero la atención que recibimos de todos los camareros a pesar de la gran cantidad de personas que éramos fue excepcional. Pedimos un par de burgers, paella para 3, mariscada para 3, tapeo para 3, 4 ensaladas, entre otros y la verdad que estaba todo muy bueno. El pescado buenísimo, se nota que es fresco. La presentación de todos los platos era de 10. Pedí tartar de atún, en la carta no ponía que llevaba cebolla, al ser intolerante, les pedí cambio por ensalada de atún y me lo cambiaron sin problema. Eduardo y las chica que gestionaban la sala nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos. Un sitio recomendable.

We had the best time here - the staff was so friendly and nice -Kenya took the time to dissect and portion out our whole sea bass so skillfully and beautifully- it added so much to our overall experience. One of the owners Augustine , came out to chat and we had a great conversation with him - learning about the area and the restaurant and how the chef creates his dishes. For a touristy area this place was REAL and the food was really good! Bravo!🙌🏼

Everything that came was delicious, especially the steamed mussels and the shrimp carpaccio which was very delicate and delicious and the squid croquettes were simply amazing. We definitely ordered too much food considering the portion size. The price was fair considering how much food we did eat but we did enjoy everything. The only downside was the electronic background music.

Perfect lunchtime spot for us! After an hour long walk from our campsite, we were more than ready to sit down and relax, so this place, right on the roundabout in front of the beach was well located and had tables under shelter. They have several wines by the glass, and the obligatory selection of tapas, but also tasty sounding mains and desserts. We tried the selection of cheeses, spicy potatoes, cooked vegetables and a cheese and strawberry salad to go with a glass of Cava, followed by a white wine. The food was very good to excellent (the salad was the standout), and the desserts, creme Catalan and caramel French toast with cinnamon ice cream were also excellent. All that and a cup of coffee and tea came to 85€. Very happy with the food, service, atmosphere and pricing!

Very nice view accompanied by welcoming staff. Regular portion sizes, not brilliant value for money but completely worth it. I especially recommend the iberic pork with mashed potatoes, the pork was very crispy and flavourful. My family also quite enjoyed the burger, the chicken breast and steamed mussels, although the mussels could have been fresher. Overall, very recommended, a great experience.

Value for money couldn’t be better! The food is exquisite, so delicate and an explosion of taste at the same time. The location is right in front of the sea so you have the most amazing view while enjoying your meal. And as the waiters are very friendly, you’ll leave the place with a satisfied smile on your face! Agradable restaurante, fuimos un grupo de cinco personas y estuvimos muy a gusto. Buena comida y buen servicio pero no para cinco estrellas. La relación calidad-precio es algo elevada pero es lo habitual en el lugar ( Tossa de Mar). Muy importante hacer reserva previa. RECOMENDABLE.

Estuvimos en el restaurante Sotavent de Tossa de Mar y la experiencia, en general, fue muy buena. El sitio tiene una ubicación excelente, ideal para disfrutar de una comida tranquila con buenas vistas. Todo lo que pedimos estaba muy bien preparado y se notaba la calidad en los platos. La única pequeña pega fue con el postre: en la carta ofrecían una torrija, pero al servirla nos encontramos con algo que se parecía más a un bizcocho que a una torrija tradicional. No estaba malo, pero no era lo que esperábamos. Aun así, salimos contentos y seguramente volveríamos. El servicio fue correcto y el ambiente muy agradable.

Buen restaurante para comer arroces, probamos 3 arroces diferentes y una fideuá; todos muy buenos. Estuvimos súper bien en la terraza. La atención de Kenia de 10. Lo recomiendo si vais a Tossa.

Todo bien. Me parecen que los arroces son los platos estrella, pero no hemos comido. Los calamares, la ceasar con gambas y la crema catalana estaban buenos, pero nada especial. El vini blanco natural de Cataluna si que estaba buenísimo.

Recomiendo este restaurante. Uno de los muchos que hay en el paseo de Tossa de Mar, pero, a diferencia de otros, la relación calidad-precio es muy buena. Las raciones están muy correctas.

I had a terrible experience here. When eating, I already felt that the mussels and clams in the seafood paella were not fresh. They had a very strong fishy and unpleasant smell. A few hours later, my stomach started to feel awful, and while taking the bus back to the city on a winding mountain road, I ended up vomiting. That night at the hotel, I had a high fever and couldn’t stop throwing up. Clearly, the seafood was not fresh and caused serious food poisoning. Bbe careful if you plan to eat here.

I came down with severe food poisoning and gastroenteritis after eating here. I spent the whole day vomiting and ran a fever that night. It took me two to three days to fully recover. I strongly advise against eating here if you have a sensitive stomach or a weak immune system. If you’re a tourist, this could easily ruin your trip. While the service was fine, the food safety is clearly a major concern. Please be careful.

Service was bad. There were many empty tables and seats inside but no one acknowledged us waiting outside the main door for 15minutes. Only one woman waiter was busy clearing up tables and taking orders. Another woman was playing with her phone inside. After going in, also waited for menu as no one was there to pass us the menu. In the end, we left before ordering as we waited for at least 10minutes for our order to be taken. Only one waiter came to get our order when we were leaving after she finished playing with her phone.

We became seriously ill after eating the ‘Surf & Turf’. We’ve been sick for two days now from food poisoning. We had hoped to finish our vacation in a different way. Sad because it looked like a very nice restaurant to eat.
