Hermoso lugar! La música en vivo un 10! Los mojitos son su especialidad, hechos con jugo de caña de azúcar que extraen ahí mismo. Sin dudas, volveré!

lugar ondero y con muy buena musica en vivo todos los días (menos domingo), los platos muy buenos al igual que los tragos, popular por su mojitos con jugo de caña natural, ademas puedes exprimir tu propio jugo de caña en una prensadora instalada sobre un auto echo barra .

El mejor mojito que he probado en toda Riviera Maya 🤤 todos y cada uno de los sabores de mojitos están ampliamente recomendados, el lugar me encanto, definitivamente si estarás por Tulum es una parada obligatoria, tenían música en vivo y la comida es buenísima. Buenos mojitos y buen ambiente para bailar. Aunque el lugar es muy reducido para bailar a gusto. Si no vienes a bailar y quieres platicar un poco, pide mesa en la entrada o mejor ve a otro bar, adentro no es muy cómodo hablar ya que la música es muy alta. Solo aceptan efectivo, nada de tarjetas de débito o de crédito.

Larga vida al Batey Mojitos y Guarapos. De los mejores lugares en Tulum. Mantienen precios razonables para la zona y la calidad es mucho mejor que otros lugares. Los mojitos y guarapos se hacen con jugo de caña recién exprimida en un bocho dentro del bar a la vista de todos. Las mejores bandas de la zona tocan acá. Was at this bar 10 years ago, nothing has changed still great service and excellent drinks! All their mojitos are excellent(they put pure sugar cane in each drink) , great quality and good price. My favorite is the Maya mojitos a bit spicy. The love bands are 👌👌👌👌🤘🤘🤘🤘.

I really loved this place. The cocktails are great and it's so cool that they press the cane sugar sticks directly from their own machine. There are many concerts, and the atmosphere is so chill. The waitress was also so nice. We came here a dozen times and all of ours friends also loved the place. The food is also super good and comes as a decent price. I can only recommand this place, it respects the nice aspects of Tulum, it's welcoming and there are more foreigners than locals, all bars around are empty but Batey Mojito is always full of clients and for good reasons

Batey was the place where we hung out almost every evening during our Tulum vacation. They have a good selection of local food and beverages that mostly come with their signature sugar cane wedge. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart for those who are looking for a place to cool down and chill out during the day and want to get a sense of the local nightlife during evening. We wanted to avoid loud techno parties but still wanted to have some fun and Batey was exactly that sweetspot. Every evening there is live music, both local vibes and international covers. One evening there was a flamenco band boh playing and dancing! A few times there were some guys jamming some local rhythms during the day. The service was awesome 👌 everyone always smiling and ready to crack a joke. During the earlier hours there were some people working with laptops too, so I presume that it's a good place for it. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

They have great live music and vegan tacos. We got here at 915 and snagged one of the last table (which was with a few others already there.) The music was top notch spanish guitar and dancers who started around 930. The volume was a good level too where you could hear them well throughout the restraunt but it wasn't too loud. This was a Wednesday so it might fill up faster on the weekends. The vegan tacos were a soy mix with pineapple that added a nice little bit of acidity to the savory tacos. The sauce and onion mixed well as well. Overall a great place for a date or just a bite with great entertainment.

Really cool atmosphere and delicious mojitos. They also brought us these delicious bruschetta bites. Came in the afternoon and wasn’t super busy but seems like it is a happening place at night. Would definitely go back!

We came to Batey 3 times during our week long stay and as a couple/group of foodies from NYC, that says a lot about the quality ! Very fresh, very authentic and very affordable (just was a nice change of pace in comparison to the restaurants/bars/clubs that are closer to the beach strip!) I’m honestly not a big fan of mojitos but I was convinced to try one and ended up having 3! That fresh sugar cane added such a nice touch to the flavor profile! The shrimp tacos were literally amazing, I swear I could’ve ate them everyday and been satisfied! The live entertainment was cool and added an interest level to keep our table engaged and ultimately there longer. On our last day as we were headed to the airport, we stopped in for a quick lunch where I got a Michelada and MAN! Top notch, definitely was a great way to end our vacation. 10/10 highly recommend!

We loved this place so much that we went there two days in a row. They have great tacos and burritos, and their mezcalita is really good, too. The food came out fast, and the price is fair. Also, they have a live performance of different bands, and both times we were there, it was packed. The only downside is that they don't accept card payments. Highly recommend the mezcalida and shrimp tacos.

Came here twice while we were in the area. I don't usually do that because there's so much to try but obviously the drinks and atmosphere had me coming back! The space is beautiful. The main dining area is situated on gravel so you still feel like you're totally outdoors. The music at night was so lively and inviting both times. The mojitos were so good! They're served with real sugar cane that you can chew on during/after your drink. The only thing that is that you're sat with other groups of people to make sure that everyone gets a seat. This is done in a lot of big cities or tourist destinations. On our first visit they sat us with a guy that was pretty strange and we felt obligated to speak to him so we didn't really get to have a conversation of our own. That, however; did not deter us from coming back. The second time, we were at a table by ourselves and everything was perfect. We even got tacos this time and they were delicious!

Mojitos were pretty good and even better they come with a piece of sugar cane. The margaritas were pretty good and quite strong! The tacos were really good. The marinated pork ones were BOMB. The shrimp tacos were good but not as good as the marinated pork tho. The sauce that comes with the shrimp is SPICY. The exchange rate is 17 =1 so try to pay in pesos and they ONLY take CASH. Late nights they have music and it gets lively as well.

Come for the drinks and stay for the tacos. The mojitos and cocktails served here a very good, deceptively good, because of how they go down easily making you forget you’re drinking something with a alcohol content. And the tacos, banging! The place also has nice live musical performances that add a really entertaining/chill vibe to the place.

Lugar lindo , fácil de encontrar creo que tiene música en vivo a diario , sus mojitos son muy ricos y preparados en el momento con jugo de caña recién exprimida , me gustó el concepto no me pareció ni tan pretencioso ni hipster como la mayoría en tulum , un lugar con personalidad propia. Los tacos de cochinita también eran ricos aunque algo grasosos .

La comida por el precio podría mejorar. Pedimos una tabla de fiambres y fue súper pequeña. Lo demás excelente!

Buen lugar para degustar una cerveza mientras escuchas música en vivo. Sinceramente tenía bajas expectativas por los tacos(no encuentras buenos tacos bbb por la zona), pero me callaron cuando los proble. 10/10

Good place to eat as the prices are very reasonable and affordable - especially considering the location which is very close to the main Tulum Town central street. They serve fresh sugar cane juice, made on the spot in front of customers in a fancy old school car, converted into sugar cane machine. If you like live music you gonna love it as they have a band playing music every evening. The staff is very friendly, polite, smiling and happy to advise on the menu. For me it was way too loud as it was difficult to have a conversation during the meal but people seem to love it as the place is always fully packed. Be aware that there is no option of splitting the bill when paying - the bill comes as one for the table and they won’t split it into multiple cards payments. The food was ok but nothing special in my opinion. Overall a good experience.

I went to this bar twice during my stay, and both times they had live music. The vibe is very lively — you can grab a drink and sit in the backyard or just stand in the street and hang out with your friends. I definitely recommend stopping by. It’s local and absolutely worth a shot.

We went there because we'd heard that's where you get the best mojitos in Tulum. I don't know if they were the best, but they were definitely pretty good. It's a pretty crowded place with live music and real sugar, with the canes to prove it. The only thing I liked less about it is the nauseating smell coming from the washroom, but it might have been the table we were sitting at (right the the entry). Prices are also pretty decent, you can drink a cocktail for 100 pesos and water for 50.

If they hadn’t tried to scam us I would give this place five stars. It is a really fun great atmosphere with live music and the food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced. The problem was that when the bill came they had added up the total to almost double what we had. And when we addressed it, they clearly knew they had done it and didn’t even apologise. This happened to us in a few places in tulum where totals weren’t added up correctly, but this time was ridiculous - trying to charge us 1540 for an 890 bill!!!
