It recently changed the owner, now is call “chido” with now dishes, great service and atmosphere, affordable food and drinks prices, the best in Tulum. I have being living in the neighborhood for a few years and im glad, good vibes are being established in the area. i rent scooters two blocks away and i will definitely recomen this place to my clients. cheers !!

The vegetarian pozola is very good.
The pozole is delicious. They have a vegetarian version that a friend ordered and says is also delicious. The barbacoa tacos are always delicious, and the beef in its own juices is amazing.
Excellent service, delicious food, and preparation time of 15-20 minutes, but it's totally understandable. The tortas ahogadas are highly recommended. ❤️

I'm from Guadalajara, and without a doubt, the best food in Jalisco is in Tulum and the Riviera Maya. The Tortas Ahogadas are the specialty! As good as the ones from Jalisco. The Pozole, the Carne en su Jugo, and the Takeirox Barbecue are highly recommended! The quality of the dishes and the service are always 10/10! Exquisite!
The place has a lot of potential; the food is delicious with good, original ingredients. However, the place looks neglected and is only staffed by one person, who, while very helpful, I don't think is enough.
The music is terrible and the owner is very rude. A total tourist trap.
The service is crap. The wait staff is at their own party. They don't serve you. I had to stop to get my drinks. The manager or waiter only approached us once.
We had to leave. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken, and there was only one other table, who had already finished. It was disrespectful because no one was serving you. When the waiter came to take our order, he did it in the worst possible way. He hadn't even finished taking it when his cell phone rang and he answered it!!! And he left the table!!! 🤦🏻♀️ We decided to leave then. Everything was bad.
Terrible service and attention. The staff is seriously lacking in organization, as even without customers, the dishes take too long to arrive.
Not recommended at all. It took them 10 minutes to take our order even though they didn't have any tables. We ordered barbacoa tacos and a Cuban sandwich. After the tacos arrived, a while passed and the waiter just told me, "We don't have Cuban sandwiches." What a shame about this place, since we had higher expectations. If the owner is the one at the entrance, do yourself a favor and don't waste our time. If you're going to open a business, keep an eye on your employees and what they're preparing.
