It is McDonald's: That being said, it has been updated and looks great. The employees were attentive, friendly and fast. The food was good, being what it is. I will visit agai. As I have done for more than 20 years.

We stopped here on Memorial Day on our way home from camping and were pleasantly surprised to find a beautifully (If not quite completely) remodeled facility that even had a table to seat all 8 of us! We got there just before the lunchtime rush, but even when it hit, the staff were courteous and positive (especially for people working a holiday!). Thanks for the positive experience! Heads up to anyone heading to this location with anything in tow, the parking is a bit constricted, so park in the adjoining shopping center lot and hoof it over.

I was truly done with Mcdonald’s due to my experiences in Auburn and Ithaca NY. However, while on a motorcycle trip with my brothers we stopped at Mcdonald’s in Tupper Lake NY. They already had customers and the eight of us went in and experienced a Mcdonald’s that was outstanding ! Christine and her staff served and fed eight hungry and wet bikers like a well oiled machine. We ordered a lot of food and it came out quickly and quality of food like the old days. Everything was cooked properly. As we were finishing up we were treated to a freshly and perfectly baked chocolate chip cookie. Honestly, the best and none closer Mcdonald’s experience in 25 plus years. Well done and thank you to everyone on that team today! BFMC

The haters on the reviews just can't handle the sauce. I lost a shoe on the playground and the manager helped me find it. He did say that I shouldn't be dolphin diving in the ball pit at 3am but that is understandable and as things go the guy's just doing his job to the best of his capabilities. I was cackling like a dolphin as well, which could have been more embarrassing if I hadn't been escorted out so quickly and effectively. Bravo mikeydees

Not a big mcds fan but this particular one up north in Raquette was so clean and the manager was so nice. Got a real egg sandwich and best iced coffee. It's what ALL THE MCDS SHOULD BE!

Memorial day 10 am , busiest McDonald's I have ever seen! Parking lot right full and drive thru around the bldg, and this crew was kicking, you know what and taking names.

It's a nice McD's, like a great many others...but the people are wonderful and quite nice! Normally I rate "perfectly good service" franchise stores as four stars, but this one was kind enough to make me an "extra" egg McMuffin when I asked them to and I was all of 3 minutes up the road...only 3, but they were changing to lunch menu in *one* minute. So you might say that these folks really saved my ba...uhh, ham! So, five stars for some (tasty) going slightly-above and beyond to save me from my late self. And if I'm too late for breakfast...well, some days I have a breakfast-cheeseburger! No, it's not the same, but that's my own problem. :-)

I was not impressed with the quarter pounder that i got, patty's where not hamburg but tasted like sausage. I even had my sister taste a piece of it she Agreed with me. Ff were cold. Wobt go back.

Helped to handle a group of around 45 of us eat within around 25 minutes for all of us! Always great food and drinks for a cheap price, with a comfortable and modern atmosphere. I definitely recommend the five dollar meal deal, because it offers a lot of food for a very low price.

We just stopped by to get a happy meal, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! I don't really eat Mcdonald's, so I can't rate the food, but everyone was really courteous and so nice to us! Kudos to them! This is what customer service is all about!

Ubiquitous fast food franchise. There isn't anything (good or bad) that makes this location stand out from the others. We stopped for a quick bite during our visit to the Adirondacks. There are not a lot of options in the area, so you can't go wrong here.

Usually a pretty fast meal option. As expected, not a very healthy variety available, including salads. But I enjoy it from time to time. Great staff, props for hiring high school kids and working around their schedules.

Your usual McDonald's. This one just happens to be located deep in the Adirondacks which is very convenient for campers returning to town for supplies. They are essentially the only fast-food restaurant in the area. But the quality is on par with what you would expect.

Decent free WiFi, clean and good service. We stopped here a few times while visiting our Grandparents to use their WiFi...mostly to download videos for our kids before taking the long trek back home...!

It's a good location with very little in terms of fast food around it. There isn't another McDonald's close by for a while. So worth stopping here if you are craving it while driving through.

Excellent fries and burgers. They have their times when they'll mess up your order. The breakfast is good. Most the time the food is good and fresh but there's been many times it tasted stale like they should have thrown out the fries or nuggets. The wait is a bit long for the drive thru. I've never had any gross experiences there.

Food was good for fast food, service drive through wise can be very long as much as 15 minutes, dine in is a little faster and the atmosphere is good. Only 1 double kiosk so if taken you have to wait but other than that its a good choice for a quick meal if you are dining in.

Seemed Expensive for what I actually ordered.. 2 medium fries for $8.19 ??? When 2 burgers, fries, and a soda is $5.99 ?? I'm still very confused.. lol

Food is hit and miss on whether you get hot or cold burgers. I have had to take my cheeseburger back on more than one visit because it was not made correctly.

I don't eat at McDonald's. I will buy the coffee. This food is a primary cause of diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Having diabetes from eating this fake food I find it fair play to use their toilet.

Ordered 3- 6 piece chicken nugget happy meals. No chicken nuggets...lol

They had their public restrooms closed because they "didn't want to have to clean them." They are required to clean anyway. Patrons should be able to use the restroom.

A 3 Star Establishment it is in my eyes, I have had good service and I have had bad service so that's a 50/50, the food same 50/50. So I wouldn't highly recommend it, but it is ok for what we got..

Receiving food missing items, drinks were slow to receive.

Fries were super stale. It was a late night quick stop. The rest of the food was fine.

The taste and smell of the coffee was very off. The staff made a new pot of coffee for us with no problem, but the smell and off taste was still there. Very friendly staff and quick service though!!

Average McDonald's. People that work there could try to act a little nicer. Worked on that side of the counter and know the drill. Being rude when interrupted standing around doing nothing isn't a good look. Been in there a few times and got the same treatment. Act as if they're being disturbed in their convos to serve you...

Got a quick breakfast and it sucked. The bagels were burnt. The order was wrong but we were already back on the road. Always get your receipt and check your order before you leave this place. My order has been wrong to many times to count. And if McDonald's is doing specials don't expect to get them here.

I hate the Tupper Lake McDonald's some of the staff is very rude the manager I believe his name is Dave is extremely rude they just have poor manners and even when your boy to them it's like they just shove your stuff out the window and get you on your way kind of thing even before covid so it's not anything new if there wasn't a drink there that I really like and that I like to get almost every day that I'm in town I wouldn't go there at all

Always bad attitudes. I ordered from the young blonde girl that looked at me several times at the counter and pretended not to see me until finally taking my order. It came to $10.74 I only had fifty dollar bills so I gave her one $50 dollar bill and 4 quarters. She would t give me the penny so I would have exact change. When she went to give me my change back she gave me two dimes and two pennies. Told me she had no more pennies in the drawer. She asked if I wanted them and I replied YES. She went outback and I never seen my pennies. I donated the .22 cents to Ronald McDonald she handed me my food and I left. She really must have needed my quarter.

I have been to this McDonald's in tupper lake at different times and the burgers are always cold like they have been premade and put together when ordered will not go there again.

By far the worst experience I have ever had I pulled up at lunch time and ordered double cheeseburgers and was pulled ahead the manager brought out my food which was cold and my order was wrong so I told the manager 30 minutes for a double is a bit ridiculous he responded with well it is what it is have a nice day I think this store should have some of it affiliates from Malone or Potsdam to show them how to properly prepare for a lunch rush

Since this place thinks it’s above the law being a “privately owned McDonald’s” I have to say it will never get my service again. I was threatened by a worker that my food was contaminated while her and the manager laughed like school children at me. Owner should be ashamed as well as the staff.

I would normally give this McDonald's a good review but last night all I wanted was a good hot cup of coffee... It sucked! I was driving through the Adirondacks in treacherous conditions. This was due to an unavoidable previous commitment. Anyway, I pulled into this McDonald's because I really "deserved a break". I needed to get out of the car for a bit. There was no one at the counter. I could see the activity in the back area to serve the drive up. Of the 6 or 7, one employee came to the front and got something from under the counter. She said hello to me and disappeared. I waited several minutes more in the same line of sight and nothing. When a vehicle that arrived after me was served and on it's way, I was done. I walked out.

The food was normal McDonald's, no problems there. We ordered $45 worth of food, including a 10pc nuggets. We asked for 1 extra sauce and was told with an attitude it would be 25 cents each. The employee then proceeded to shout to her manager that we were "b**ching about ranch." The manager also refused to budge on his sauce policies. I didn't ask for 10 free sauces with a $5 order. This is the stingiest McDonald's I've ever been to, and the manager and his staff need an attitude adjustment.

Short staffed had to use kiosk which is hard with a family of 5. Husband's burger was red and bloody. They did make another one and we are ones to eat med rare burger but never had one from McDonald's so was kinda scared. People that where working were nice but shouldn't be put in those situations.

I placed a mobile order that included 2 pies. When I got to the first window, the employee told me it would be a ten minute wait for the pie to heat up and asked if I still wanted to get it. I asked if I could just get it cold, she asked someone in the back, then said yes. I get to the second window, saw them preparing my food inside then an employee asked me to pull up to the curb and said they would bring it out when it was ready. I pulled up, watched about 6 or 7 cars get served and leave, then finally about 12 minutes later they brought out my food. The pies I had been expecting to be cold were instead piping hot. I don't know why I couldn't end up just getting the cold pies and getting out of there quickly but apparently hot pies are more important than happy customers.

Went there at 9:55pm when they advertise they close at 10:30 pm. They had a automated message that said they were closed and turned the sign off as I drove out. Don't advertise you close at one time and not serve food more than a half hour before closing.

Manager very put out when I asked him to please fill the fries up..as I ordered large for a reason, which was not to have a large fry half full. I did file a complaint with management..I don't think it's unreasonable to order a $3 large fry and expect it to be full.

Ordered food and was waiting outside to pick it up and the lady that brought the food out was really rude so we told her not to be so miserable and she said don’t worry she put “something special” in our food for us complaining about the horrible customer service..so I followed her back in and asked for my money back. I didn’t even open the bag and the manager refused to refund money so the food was left there AND the manager had the nerve to say “ don’t worry we put something special in everyone’s food.” Clearly it was spit in or contaminated and they literally told me that themselves.. The cops were involved and also asked them to just refund the money with the manager saying “I don’t have to”. The cops advised me to call corporate so after calling them they said it was a privately owned McDonalds and they would reach out to me, owner sent me a letter saying they will look into it, thanks. Haven’t heard anything more. Pretty unprofessional and down right disturbing. I wouldn’t recommend anyone eating there.

My daughter came to your location Aug 19th 2016 with 6 BUS loads of paying hungry Canadaian teenagers for you to cash in on, and your customer service was HORRIBLE! Especially coming from a supervisor /manager (was wearing a scarf) I understand that 6 buses of teenagers would be challenging but they deserve the same respect as any adult paying customer. I will be sure to let the camp know where they were headed for , to NOT stop at this location again. Maybe another restaurant would appreciate the business.

could not place order. employees were all busy trying to figure out what to do. several other customers also frustrated with not getting waited on, or not getting food they ordered. same thing happened to me at my last visits to other McDonald's.

Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else in tupper lake . Ordered a counter ordered ahead of time to skip the wait . Get there and find the doors locked with a note starting an issue with the building. Proceed to drive around to explain I ordered counter service and received attitude from the drive thru worker explaining she couldn’t see counter orders and the lobby was closed due to short staff. We proceeded to explain this to the shift lead and he gave us attitude about how multiple orders can’t go to the same car . We tried to explain that my group and I ordered counter service and that we can’t access them with the doors locked . Get our food to find multiple items missing and not a single sauce packet to be found .

SUPER slow service!! SO slow, in fact--there was an elderly couple that waited over 15 minutes JUST to place their order because the workers completely IGNORED them. Another potential guest waited in line 10 minutes behind the elderly couple only to walk back out without placing an order. INEXCUSABLE behavior from these employees!! There were only 3 other people besides my family of 4 that were eating inside the restaurant!! I understand they have an active drive-thru, and online orders as well--but you HAVE to be considerate of your inside paying guests as well!!!!

I've never waited longer for "fast food" almost 40 minutes and nobody cares. Go inside nobody waits on you, try the drive thru which is stacked up to the road, or call and nobody answers... don't waste your time! And don't use the mobile app if you're not able to wait that long, because then they have your money and your food... and you go back to work hungry

I'm assuming it's new management because the past few months this place has been horrible. Wait in line for a good 15 mins. Inside they look at you and make you wait. You ALWAYS have to pull up further to wait for food. Items are never correct. The adults are the worst. The hardest workers in there are the kids. One lady can't even take a order.

Absolutely terrible, the place is literally falling apart, and the workers are beyond rude. Half filled fries, for a large. Got a small maybe medium. Food absolutely disgusting and cooked poorly. Watched the workers talk shit about customers in-front of me. The lobby was beyond dirty and looked like it wasn’t clean in a day or two. Bathrooms poorly cleaned and girls bathroom big stall roof falling apart? With buckets for dripping water? A McDonald’s more like a trash can. Place needs to be redone and complete change in staff.

Not trying to be nasty but, exactly how hard is filling a food order correctly? If it's on the receipt how does it not end up in the bag? I never get McDonald's since I moved from tupper, I ask my husband ONE time to get me a couple cheeseburgers and you can't even get that right. Literally 45 minutes away and it's not like I can drive up there for you to fix the mistake.

Disappointment on a bun! This McDonald's left me hangry and frustrated. Lukewarm fries, a burger drier than a flip flop, and a drink with more syrup than soda. The service wasn't much better. The employee taking my order seemed bored out of their mind, and it took forever to get my food, even though the place looked half empty. For the price, I could've gotten a fresher, tastier meal elsewhere. This McDonald's definitely wasn't lovin' it, and neither was I.

I didn’t think McDonalds could get worse than Lake Placid’s but the manager here has definitely stole that title for the establishment he’s in charge of! First of all, the posted closing hours are 10pm on the door. We showed up at 845 and this guy’s attitudes was outrageous. Made it clear they were closing in 15 minutes and locked the doors and at one point made a very rude comment, “go outside your not coming back in”. Storming around in a very aggressive manner with very angry look upon his face. Very unprofessional and very rude! He should be fired before his attitude causes a serious issue here. Corporate will be notified. He needs anger management for sure! The 1 star is for the other polite employees whom I feel very sad for having to work with this guy.
