Panera Bread

Out of the bagel I wanted but that was ok. You got to get there early to get what you want. this is how I determine it a establishment’s food is likely fresh. They do not have tons of bagels sitting there for a long period of time . I had a Sprouted grain bagel, I didn’t think I’d like. It was delicious: this location is my favorite in the Rancho upland area. They appeared to be very clean - excellent customer service

I've only been here 1 other time years ago. When I went in ordered turkey bacon avocado and a side of broccoli cheddar soup. It was awesome. Gave the hubby my other half of my sandwich for his lunch the next day. He said it was good as well. I will be back.

Great variety of sandwiches and soups! Also, service is awesome!!

Delicious as always. The bread, the soups, the salads, pastries. The place is clean, good WiFi and the employees are very nice and polite.

Sweet, salty, chocolatey…basically everything you didn’t know you needed in one cookie 🍪🤤 And if you’re lucky enough to have Ana at the register, you’re in for an even bigger treat. She’s incredibly kind, super welcoming, and just makes the whole experience better. You can tell she genuinely cares and takes pride in what she does. 💛 Between the delicious food and top-notch service, I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Panera, you’ve got a gem in Ana!

We ordered as usual, being greated by Jacob (very friendly) we placed order with him then got our drinks and sat down. Very short wait to get our food, all adjustments to our order was correct. But when I pulled the top half off of my steak white cheddar sandwich I was in shock 😲 how little meat was on this $8.00 sandwich. So I went up to the counter and spoke to Cheyenne. She did show me the company standards (RESPECTFULLY) on the amount of meat that they are to put in it but told me she was going to make me another one. As well as bring it out to me. She did just that! Best customer service in a very long time. To the management staff, we use to eat here before covid 3-4 times a month. During covid customer service went down hill and stopped going. We have recently started going back (3rd time this month) thank you for having your staff at 110% again. Thank you for having them respect the customer and just did the right thing 👍🏻. We will be back. Wish I would have had the forethought to take pictures but I ate it all.

I pulled the lid off of the French onion soup and took a dip. My taste buds were quite happy. It was pretty tasty. Two final thoughts... I was stuffed when I was done. I think that sandwich was bigger than it looked. AND... they're kinda stingy with the soup (see photo). It was a small cup that was only half full. I know... it's just supposed to be for dipping but a little more would be nice. Anyway... I would definitely order that again.

Good food if you are in the mood for a sandwich, salad, or soup. I like to get the pick 2 where I can choose what I am in the mood for. This location is nice and clean, and they got our food out to us fast.

The one star for atmosphere is because the person who calls out to go orders decides to shout out at the top of their lungs in the first instance. Spoils the experience. Also was rude when I picked up my meal to dine in, just telling me to drop the pager in the basket without even a please or smile.

I just love the food here. The only real complaint we have is the are no more servers bringing out your food. I understand the stupid pandemic changed a lot of things, but here's the complaint. The people that take your order are wonderful. But why do we have the option to tip them. I would not mind tipping someone who brings my food out to me (like before), but when you pay with a card you have the option (and I realize that 'option' is the key word here) to pay the gal who takes your order. Not only that, but there's another container that accepts cash tips right next to the register. That's almost as bad as tipping the cashiers at a fast food restaurant. I know Pandera has more class than that. And while we were there, a table left and left their dishes on the table. They were stacked nice and neat, but the gal who came out to wipe down the tables (and yes, she could have been a little more thorough) looked around and was a little disgusted that she actually had to pick them up. But to us, that was a minor detail. The major drop in stars was the tipping issue. But thank you for the great food!!!!

Panera's menu has been pared down too much, and they have omited my favorite sandwich. I tried one of their new special Spicy Chicken sandwiches 2 weeks ago (~12/1/24), and literally threw out 3/4 of it! Their Broccoli Cheddar Soup is still Great! Their sweets look like they've really good (their brownies used to be great), but I'm staying away from sweets. I'm sure their breads are probably really good - that was the only thing that was good about the 1/4 sandwich I ate!

I was really disappointed in this grilled cheese. I guess I expected it to be toasted more but it was like gummy and soggy. the tomato soup was mid.

Changing from 4 stars for food to 3 stars. The cinnamon roll is a 0 star, what a huge disappointment. Need to find a new bakery for good cinnamon rolls. Love the bagels. Only 4 stars because in all the times I have preordered only once was the order ready and accurate on time. Rewards are a joke. Make 7 purchases and reward is $1 off pastry. Really, good thing I don't purchase from Panera for the rewards The pizza is a huge waste of money and calories. 0 stars for pizza. Ordered extra cheese and bacon but still barely any of either on the pizza and a total of 3 pieces of chicken on the entire pizza. Will stick to bagels

The supervisor lady had a long day written all over her face too, and it's only mid-morning. It's okay to smile and add some oomph to your own morning drink. Understand that these days have been warm, your long faces don't help!

She said you can get it from the ice machine I said but he'll let you it. So I went back to ice machine and the repairman said did you need something I said yes some ice. The repairman said I'm working on it so I went back to the Manager her name is Cheyanne and said the repairman said to get it from you. So she reluctantly gave me some ice. I was tempted to call Corporate.

Great food excellent place, BUT BAD CERVICE ON CLEANING THE TABLES, IT'S BEEN 30 MINUTES AND THESE TABLES HAVE NOT BEEN CLEAN UP...

I ordered a rapid pick up, bagel, plain cc and coffee. When I got there, I found my bagel but no coffee cup, so I asked the man behind the counter didn't say anything just grabbed a cup and practically threw it at me. Then when I got home they gave me a reduced fat chive and onion cc.... How is that even close to plain. It says on the receipt accuracy matters talk to a manager if your order is wrong so I called and of course no answer. Ridiculous.

I ordered take two combo. Half each of tomato soup and Mediterranean veg sandwich. Both are delicious. But a warning for diabetes patients.These items sharply raised my blood sugars beyond 300. Given the obesity and diabetes epidemic, Panera should make healthier food with less carbs.

Rude & awkward environment. I walk in & at the moment it was only 3 women employees in the front taking orders & im the only person in line getting a small order for myself. Literally all the girls are staring at me, ONE BEING A MANAGER not greeting me rolling their eyes at one another seeing who’s turn it is to get my order?? FINALLY after one girl rolls her eyes and takes my order & is literally not happy talking to me giving me so much attitude at my pick two combo I’m getting?? The place was dirty, none of those girls are wearing hair nets. The place looked just as dirty as all of the women employees hairs. HIRE BETTER PEOPLE PANERA!!!! If you people don’t like customer service go work at a warehouse. Don’t ruin people’s day because you don’t like people. Horrible experience. DONT COME HERE.

I don’t know what’s going here in California with panera but you guy’s did not deliver on customer service and bagels and cream cheese I can’t believe this is how you guys do the legendary bagels a total let down. I got a “jalapeño bagel” where’s the jalapeños? There was no flavor or smell of jalapeño these bagels need attention. And you guy’s ask for tips at the register for what? We put our own cream cheese on the bagels 🧐 if you guy’s had service like Einstein bagels then absolutely am tipping, cream cheese cups? C’mon 🤦🏽 I paid for extra cream cheese and only got 1 1oz 2oz cheese cup . Honestly stop being corporate for a day and focus on customer service and food quality. Register lady was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu.

First of all forget this place. I've had it with them here at this location. Every time I come which is often, the cashiers can't smile ,respond or act with customer service at all. They are rude and unprofessional. The guy making the food today at 2:45pm slid my food across the counter as if throwing it at me. And when I asked for more dressing he threw that at me too. Of coarse the manager there is worthless and rude as well. (Ms. Gould) I'll never come back. And I knew before I walked in that it'd be a terrible experience AGAIN. This place is absolutely filthy. Food on the tables, on the floor, on the seats. There were hardly any customers there. We had to wipe our own table. I ordered a coffee cup and all the coffees and hot water were out. Also, the music is so loud we could barely hold a conversation.

July 13 Friday 2024 evening my 13 year old daughter and her friends In the Colonies Upland, California are enjoying summer evening stopped into the Pandora bread colonies Upland, California wanted to get a bite! Walked into the Panera bread and the Server was rude because the server are young girls and they said something derogatory remark saying i hate when ghetto girls come in here blah blah blah especially the Manager didn’t say welcome. She didn’t say can I help you She had her nose up in the air young girl maybe early 20s she had a hickey on her neck. I know it was closing time but still be nice. we’re spending our money $48 for a very small cup of soup and a small piece bread and a drink for three of us!! If The Owner read this, I asked to reprimand And suggest his workers have common courtesy and respect, to all customers and age group in colors black white brown we’re bringing them BUSINESS!! 😞 in Jesus name amen 🙏🏽

Anyone else get food poisoning from this place on 2-19-26?

As others have pointed out, the portions recently have gotten ridiculously small. Multiple bites of this sandwich literally had no chicken salad on it.

First delivery was perfect last delivery had much to be desired. We ordered thru the Panama Bread online. The chicken noodle soup was all broth hardly any noodles ior chicken and vegetables. Tried to call around 5 pm at least 6 times never got any response, no employee we wanted to talk to a manager but no one ever picked up. We will give them one more time. If we get the sane lousy soup we will not be eating there again.
