Un ristorante suggestivo immerso nel verde dove a fine pasto puoi fare una bella passeggiata lungo il lago ed oltre.. Domenica 9 febbraio per festeggiare l'arrivo del mio compleanno sono venuta da voi a pranzare dopo qualche annetto che non venivo... che dire gli anni sono passati ma il vostro essere cordiali non e svanito nel tempo .. io e il mio amico siamo stati coccolati dalla gentilezza ed attenzione di chi ci serviva ..abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione per 2 ed abbiamo mangiato benissimo .. la gentilezza nel venirmi incontro perché ho una allergia a tutto quello che contiene latte è stata molto apprezzata... un posto da non farsi scappare 😊 a presto da una cliente di nome CLAUDIA

I can't comment on the rooms since I only stopped for lunch on the recommendation of friends. The owner and his staff are competent and disarmingly kind. We opted for the tasting menu, and every course was truly excellent. Highly recommended.

Lake Meugliano Today I took a beautiful walk around Lake Meugliano with my dog, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The lake is nestled in the woods of Valchiusella and immediately gives off a sense of peace and pristine nature. We walked the route that winds around the lake: a simple but evocative path, well-marked and surrounded by dense woods. Walking among the trees, you breathe in the clean, fresh air, with glimpses of the lake appearing through the foliage, creating a relaxing, almost fairytale-like atmosphere. The walk is suitable for both those who want a leisurely stroll and those who enjoy immersing themselves in nature. With the dog, it was perfect: plenty of space to roam, the silence interrupted only by the sounds of the woods and the water. An ideal place to unwind, take a stroll, and enjoy the greenery. I definitely recommend it to nature lovers who want to spend a few hours in total serenity.

We stopped for gelato at the Albergo-Ristorante L'Incontro and had a wonderful time, both for the delicious gelato and the beautiful location. The property is located right next to Lake Meugliano: an enchanting spot, cool in the summer and ideal for a relaxing stroll, accompanied by the sound of the water. It's a place that exudes tranquility and allows you to enjoy nature in complete relaxation. The atmosphere is truly pleasant, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a regenerating break. The only slightly negative note is the prices: we paid €30 for five gelatos, which is a bit above average. However, the location is truly worth it and makes the experience highly recommended.

I already knew the area around Lake Meugliano, but I'd never dined at this restaurant. The welcome was excellent; you immediately felt at ease thanks to the empathy of the owners and staff. The restrooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Impeccable table service, excellent dishes, with excellent specialty offerings. The desserts were excellent. Highly recommended; I'll definitely be back for lunch out of town, perhaps with friends. Pets are welcome, but it's best to let them know in advance, and reservations are recommended.

Il ristorante / bar l'Incontro lo conosco da tanti anni ed è situato a pochi metri dal laghetto di Meugliano. È un posto molto tranquillo e curato.il ristorante offre menù sempre diversi in base alla stagione e troviamo prodotti locali e della zona ( funghi, selvaggina,erbe aromatiche ecc). Possibilità di fare menù degustazione,40 euro 3 antipasti,2 assaggi di primi e 1 secondo,dolce,caffè. Ideale per eventi. Per quanto riguarda il bar c'è possibilità di sedersi sia dentro che fuori nel dehors,il menù è abbastanza ampio, possiamo trovare gelati,torte ( tra cui la famosa 900), succhi, caffetteria, aperitivi. Parcheggio ampio davanti al locale.

A beautiful restaurant with a stunning location in the middle of Lake Meugliano in Valchiusella. A haven of peace and well-being for the mind and body. The interior presents itself as a typical Piedmontese restaurant, featuring plenty of arte povera (poor art) that recalls the splendor of a regal Piedmont. The rooms are spacious and the tables are well-spaced. The local cuisine is presented with attention to detail, without forgetting the quality and freshness of the raw materials used. The service is friendly and precise. The prices are a little above average, but the quality and location have a price to honor. Perhaps the setting is no longer up-to-date and there is no touch of modernity that now pervades everywhere, but the flavor of good food mixed with the tranquility and peace of this place makes everything very beautiful and enjoyable. Recommended!

We came all the way to Lake Meugliano (an hour's drive) specifically to dine at this restaurant, but the experience was awful. As soon as we arrived, we found a huge sign that read "I can't enter," referring to dogs. We were surprised, because in 2025, it's rare to find places that treat animals as a problem. We politely asked if there was a way to keep our dog with us, but the answer was a firm no, with the absurd suggestion of leaving him in the car, in the evening, in 12-degree temperatures. I find it absurd and profoundly sad that places like this still exist: closed, unsympathetic, and stuck in a medieval idea of ​​hospitality. In an era where dogs are welcomed with respect and normality almost everywhere, here you're treated as if you're asking for something out of this world. Paradoxically, in many restaurants rudeness and noise come more often from people than from animals, but evidently here it's easier to blame a well-behaved dog than a noisy customer. An hour's drive to be told to "leave it in the car" and go home without dinner. Terrible experience, zero empathy. We won't be returning and I won't recommend it to anyone, especially those who care about animals or simply humanity.

An extremely disappointing experience. As soon as we arrived, we were told that we "had come from far away" (an inappropriate comment, suggesting we were foreigners). There were only two of us, and despite there being no line and the outdoor dining area never filling up, we were told to go to another restaurant, while the inside was completely empty. We could easily have found a seat if we had wanted. We eventually sat down at the bar attached to the restaurant, still under the same management. We were served a sparkling wine, and when we asked for a small aperitif—as is expected in Italy—we were served only a bowl of San Carlo crostini, with nothing else. The bottle was left on the table without ice, and I had to personally ask for a cooler to keep it cold. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and was previously the manager of an inn in one of the most renowned hotels in Piedmont. I can say without hesitation that the treatment I received was disrespectful and embarrassing: the only "fault" was not having booked (on a Tuesday!). In the end, we found ourselves eating a tiny piadina and a dry, hard sandwich, worthy of a service station, certainly not a place that claims to be a restaurant. Rating: 0. Shameful.

It was a simple bed and breakfast. We booked the room on the last minute as we had to stay the night in that region. The owner was reticent when checking us in...an odd attitude considering that they accepted our booking. We didn't hold high expectation for the B&B afterall it was only for a night. However an odd thing happen during breakfast. We chose to have our breakfast by the verandah. Owner served us a tray of cookies (apparently stale) and took orders for our beverages. We asked for water and was only given only 1 glass of water (there were 2 of us at the table). The owner did not offer any information that there was a buffet table inside the dining area. Not knowing the was a buffet table, we had the stale biscuits and coffee and left. It was at the moment that I spotted other guests were sitting indoor and helping themselves to the yoghurt and fruits on the buffet table. I wondered why would the owner not offer information about the buffet spread? To save costs? Or simply because of prejudices? Or a lack of experience? When in the service industry, it is crucial not to incur doubts that lead your clients as to ponder as to why they were treated differently. In view of this unhospitable environment and despite the lovely lake by this hotel, I certainly think it is not worth the trouble to drive up the precarious road to this B&B.
