Stopped into Chester’s chicken in Valley Center this evening to try the place out. My husband and I were very impressed. First the gentleman who helped us was very pleasant and helpful. We each ordered the two piece meal and were shocked at how low the price was. The chicken was delicious and the servings were so big. Definitely puts kfc and Popeyes to shame. We will be going back.

I have been dying to try Chester's Chicken for the first time, so we stopped for gas and Chicken, I was just going to try it out on a small scale 2 or 4 pieces, but the guy working there said they were out of Legs and Thighs and I could substitute Breasts and Wings so we got the 6 pieces with 2 Biscuits, It was really good, My wife attacked it like a Hungry Coyote!!

Super crispy chicken strips 8/10

Today was my first time trying it. I got the 6 piece dark meat and 2 biscuits. I thought it was very good. Biscuits were delicious and had a holy butter taste. I liked it a bit better than KFC. I will try something different next time just to compare but I liked it

Super crispy chicken strips 8/10

Love the drumsticks here. I was very happy with the "5 Bux Box" they had been going on here since they opened. Unfortunately they recently did away with that deal and now the price is ridiculous! Pretty much almost double the price now. So because of this I'm changing the five-star rating to three stars

I understand that this is new business here, but the service? Eye rolling from servers, run out of chicken, pies, liver, gizzards. And the only thing my husband wants is LIVERs and that’s NEVER available. How is this even a thing? You end up waiting in this long line just to learn they don’t have anything you want. If you’re out of food - put up a sign for Pete’s sake - and whoever’s job it is to order ? Well, you should be replaced

I went into this place optimistic and came away vowing to never return. The chicken strips are huge, but bland. The mashed potatoes and gravy were atrocious...made from really bad instant potatoes. And, get this...Chesters is supposed to be known for its dipping sauce. They had none. None. The chicken sandwich was pre-made and already wrapped up, so there is no customizing it (couldn't have a sandwich without the pickles). And the photo shows it with sauce, but there is no getting it that way. The sandwich had been sitting for a while. I recognize this is a new place with new employees, but the bones of this restaurant are bad...really bad. Why, oh why, did this location opt for Chesters? There had to be other options! (Hey, the biscuit was good!)

Staff has a major attitude issue. Eye rolling, side eye, you name it! You need to teach them customer service. Drive through is also never open or working. They just don’t respond to you.

God awful chicken. The biscuit sandwhich tastes like some kind of rubbery lab grown abomination made from micro plastics and elmers glue. Could barely finish one bite. The fries also have too much oily batter on them. I was starving and still regret coming here.

I don't know what the deal is with the employees but that meal was absolutely disgusting I would even give it to my dogs it was old rotten disgusting gross. I do not want to read them anything they shouldn't get no stars at all that chicken was rotten I can't believe how they stoop that low to serve somebody rotten piece of chicken I rate this place a Capital F.

The manager was not friendly. Hopefully, the company will train their staff in customer service.
