There is something about their burgers that keeps bringing me back. I think its those fat juicy patties that just melts in your mouth. Every time i tell myself i am going to order something different to try other stuff and end up getting burger.

It's a hole in the wall spot. Don't expect gourmet burgers. But if you're craving a really good simple burger. This is a great place to go.

I come here on a regular basis and I have ALWAYS been happy. I am treated with respect and I honestly feel that they want me there, very welcoming. Everything I have tasted here has been extremely satisfying. They will even do something special and different when requested. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. My father started bringing me and my sister here in the 90's when the asain lady owned it. I recently was in the neighborhood and me and my sister decided to stop in for a bite to eat. Wow this place has not changed. A little more selection of food and of course some small increases in prices but other then that . Still just as i remembered it

The place doesn't look like much but the food is soo good and cheap. You have to try the double bacon cheeseburger and their fries are off the chain. Then we went back in for breakfast burrito ohh my good my taste buds....love love love this place!

This place is the best place in the valley for Americana/Mexican food. The burgers are made to order as all the food is. The price of the food is similar to buying a 6$ burger from Carl's Jr, but FAR BETTER in quality. Most importantly the cooking oil is not processed, reused cheap oil. This makes the fries here taste clean and fresh. Imagine a American diner style, small joint that caters to locals and has a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended/clean food. It will satisfy your red meat cravings without getting ill due to the poor quality of oil/meats in other places.

Been coming here for more than 20 years. Food tastes the same as it did then. Big, juicy, old fashioned burgers and wedge fries. Lots of choices. Great tacos too as well as breakfast burritos.

My burger was delicious. The hamburger patty was thick and cooked to perfection. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. The man at the register was really friendly and personable. My food was ready quickly and priced very reasonably. I'll be back to try additional menu options for sure.

I gave this burger spot a five star rating two years ago and it remains a five star rating till this day. Their items on the menu go beyond their famous number eight double bacon cheese burger combo. In wich my personal favorite is their Philly cheese steak sandwich club, it is mouth watering, with a ton of flavor. Their employees are extremely nice and make you feel right at home. It's unique vintage restaurant look is also an eye opener when it comes to attraction because of its old building structure that can be remodeled but shouldn't do to its great history of serving burgers for many years. ☆☆☆☆☆ well deserved.

I first went to this place about 2 years ago. My boyfriend mentioned it and after hysterically laughing and questioning the name of the place, we went and had brunch. Me and my boyfriend LOVED IT. Ever since that one visit, it's been my go to place for my favorite BREAKFAST burrito. My burrito is always fresh and hot, made correctly and the cashier is the sweetest most down to Earth guy. The staff ad a whole is very welcoming and polite. I love this place!

My husband and I came here to try out a new place. He had the bacon double cheese burger combo and i had the Philly cheesesteak, Maaan! Its so tender and feels like it melts in your mouth. I was waiting for the appliance store across the street to open, and decided to give Big Fat a try because I was hungry I got myself the bacon cheeseburger combo with grilled onion, and steak fries The burgers was nicely charbroiled and put together, just what you would expect from an LA burger joint! I will definitely be back to try the breakfast starting with the breakfast burrito The owner is super friendly offered me a free refill even though they usually charge for it, great guy, really funny! They have a bathroom, in the back I will be back like the Terminator

This is a great little burger spot. The people working here were friendly and the food came out fast. The parking lot is a little small but it gets the job done.

Came home and the burger was missing the bacon and onions :-(. Because of this I really tasted the patty. Even though the burger looks,smells and tastes pretty good, it lacked seasoning which would have put it over the top. Onion rings were forgettable. Breading was subpar. Huge potential small missteps.

I ordered a carne asada burrito, it was short on carne and long on arroz, I would have rather had more beans as filler than rice. I also prefer bigger chunks of carne in my burrito, these where diced up medium to small. Burrito was fairly hefty in weight, flavor didn't jump out and announce itself, could have used a splash Chile juice from yellow peppers or something, will come back again to try another entree, must say pastrami looks good in the pictures, and will definitely have to try a burger or asada fries. Big burger but I wasn’t a fan of the patty. They processed my to-go order quickly, which was nice. But man oh man was it really expensive for what it was.

Got a pastrami sandwich. I was somewhat disappointed. The sandwich was rather anemic and humbly served for what was paid. I have definitely payed less for better sandwiches in at least half dozen other places, including at some delis. Taste was ok, but, nothing to swoon over.

Food was okay and a little over priced . I came to this place because I figured since it’s a small business prices would be good and food would be better I asked for a big fat burger and four tacos . The burger wasn’t that big to be honest, about the size of a regular hamburger from in n out and it was a 10 dollar burger and I only got 3 of 4 tacos which he must’ve charged me 2.50 for each cause it was like an $18.00 total .the taco meat was very dry . This is an honest review . Not trying to screw anyone over .

We went for the big fat cheeseburger , big fat double cheeseburger and a large fries. Burgers are okay, meat patty seems to be a heat and serve type. It had the fake grill marks, but it was cooked on a stainless steel flat grill. Huge bun, so the meat is a bit dwarfed, but the bread was good. The large fries weren't very large, more of a medium size. Half of the fries seemed old and cold. The hot ones had a crisp to the, slightly flaky and a hint of fresh oil taste.

An okay one off burger stand. Javier took over from the original owner a few years back. Good guy who offers a fairly standard menu: burgers, fries, tacos, sandwiches and a fajitas plate. They have a decent pastrami sandwich as well. It is a small place and gets crowded weekdays during the lunch hour. Pricing is fair. Personally I'd go with the pastrami over say the burgers.. they taste frozen, as do the fries. Their tacos are pretty good as well. Breakfast is offered along with some Mexican items.

Good burger, lots of menu options, hasn't changed much for a long time. Nothing special about it but it is old school. The building has interesting windows that are 50's style. Same owner for quite some time. Good for a quick lunch and I think they have breakfast now.

I really wanted to like this place because I like to support small local businesses. But my Tuna melt was cold on the inside. I forget what my son had, but he wasn't impressed either.

Big burgers but the service was not great, the chili fries and regular fries were flavorless. The cook had to remake my order and he was on his phone and went straight to preparing my food without washing his hands.

Patty was not salted at all. Fries was dry. I found a hair in the ranch sauce container! I asked a drink with no ice yet I got with an ice. Price is pretty high for this quality Service was fast tho. Hmm.. all of these 5 star ratings are pretty puzzling to me. I decided to stop there one night after work and here was my experience: 1) hair inside the food container; 2) screwed up my order; 3) bland, boring, mediocre flavor; 4) it's a dive, but an expensive one: nearly $20 to eat for one person made it overpriced; and, 5) they wouldn't let me eat there for five minutes because they were closing! :-/ All that adds up to one star. It's in the middle of the Valley, so no big surprises here. All of these nice-sounding, well-intending but delusional people who give it 5 Stars and call it 'the best burger in town' clearly haven't wandered too many blocks from their cages, and certainly can't have dined much along the Boulevard, in the city or on the west side (or anywhere else for that matter) or they wouldn't be saying that. About the best I can say is the food was edible. I think you're far better off going to your local Cupid's, Fatburger, Five Guys or Tommy's ~ pdb
