Popeyes has expanded their menu over the years with new lunch deals and a variety of surprisingly tasty desserts, but the jewel in the crown of their offerings is their original recipe chicken. The chicken is available as 'regular' and 'spicy', and the crust on both is savory, crunchy, and very satisfying. The meat of the chicken is tender and moist, with a nice, fresh chicken flavor. (This isn't something I can always say about their competitors, unfortunately). Popeyes' hot sauce follows the manner of other Louisiana-style hot sauces, with a sharp, spicy start, and a nice, slower rise of peppery flavors that will make you want more. It's a savory addition to many things, but it is perfect on chicken, and it can be slightly addictive. I've been to a fair number of different branches, and without exception, the crews have been quick, pleasant, and efficient; they know their business, and do it well, with cheery greetings and smiles. They won't waste your time. It's been said that true mastery of something isn't that complex, but rather, is the ability to do something simple in a consistently perfect manner. If that's true, then Popeyes Chicken are the 'black belt' masters of fast food - perfectly cooked chicken with familiar sides, prepared quickly. It's consistently delicious, and a good value. Highly recommended!

I want to highly appreciate the excellent customer service of Gustavo. He is so cheerful with all his customers and we enjoyed his service this evening He is simply amazing! our experience here has always been fantastic. One tip that makes the chicken even more yummy is to put it in an air fryer for 5 mins to drain off the excess oil.

This review is to make sure the staff during my visit today Friday between 230-3pm, gets their much deserved props. Anyone who goes to Popeyes already knows how delicious the food is. But imagine having to deal with the array of orders they receive, that they have to process, in addition to helping the walk in boneheads. This team is hard working and pleasant. Good job to them. Ordered the 12 piece chicken pack with 2 sides. The chicken was great. The biscuit was amazing. The mac and cheese and mash potatos were basic but good enough.The service was fast and the cashiers were really nice. The facility was really clean. In regards to fast food, it's as good as it gets.

Good Louisiana Chicken. I have been a regular for a bit, and the place improved in terms of service (that was up and down) by a lot. Quality is better than KFC and you have spicy options which is a big plus. Update : that place has really come around. order online are ready when you arrive and you don't have to wait for them to be made anymore. better organized and cleaner too.

I have had the best service here from Steven because he went out of his way to make sure that my order was correct and nobody ever does that at Popeyes at least not the ones I usually go to. I’ve never been to this location before, but I will next time make sure to go here because of Steven and how kind he was. You need to have more employees like this one and he should get a raise because I swear I spend lot of money up at Popeyes and I always get either rude customer service, they didn’t do the order right, the food is cold or sometimes even it’s COMPLETELY missing pieces! and Customer Service doesn’t seem to care so it’s gotta be done right the first time otherwise I don’t get any reimbursement whatsoever I know this because it’s happened to me so many times in the past so thank you Stephen for making this experience and enjoyable one!

Employees are good!! Every time I been there they are on it. Only once was the food not bomb. But you can't be perfect all the time. It happens. But for sure I'll be there again. Atmosphere is decent but I don't eat there, I take to go which is what I do pretty much all fast food

There are very very fast I do like that about popeye's but their customer service could be a lot better the front desk is not the best I should say nicest employees but overall there good people but the cashier is sometimes edgy.. Other than that I love the chicken sandwiches and the Cajun fries.

They're a little slow with just one person working the cash register and serve food. So the line gets jammed, but overall wait time isn't too bad. The food is always good.

Usually very good but today we order a 10 piece spicy meal. The entire meal was mild. That was very disappointing because there is big difference in the flavor of mild and spicy chicken.

Took about an hour for me to get my chicken sandwiches on National Sandwich day. Wish this location was more staffed up at opening (10am) in anticipation of the chicken sandwich coming back that day. Service much faster around 11 when more workers came.

It's a very small parking lot but the food is good. The customer service was great. The girls at the counter were wonderful even though it was very busy. I was able to sit and enjoy my lunch away from the office.

Well located, the chicken is delicious, sometimes they have good specials, the rice and beans taste like canned food, it has free parking and a good view, it has tables to eat there.

I've been coming to this Popeyes for many years and it never has been anything but good. I didn't attempt to get their chicken sandwich but their tenders and fried chicken is always great. Good biscuits. Good sides. Plenty to drink. Parking can be tight during the busy times because their lot is small. However, it's worth the stop.

Workers were pleasant and courteous. Fries were lukewarm after making an online order, and waiting for about 5 minutes when I got to restaurant. One of the sandwiches had no sauce the other had too much. It was a no win situation. I had to eat it, couldn't drive back (didn't want to lose parking space).

Newly discovered place for me. Clean and well maintained dining area. Their fried chicken is tasty and juicy. Lunch service is much faster than at dinner time. I tried thier chicken sandwich recently. Tough and too much breading. I highly recommend Popeyes if you are getting the fried chicken.

Fast service with a smile from this staff and with a clean table to dine in sure does make you comfortable to sit down and enjoy your meal. Food tastes great of course but I do wish I can get my food hotter. Nonetheless, this is my go to for my when l crave fried chicken.

Popeyes is always my go-to favorite lately in the last few years if it's not a corporate store it may not be the same I've had some letdowns but occasionally I still have a taste for Popeye's

Super friendly and helpful staff at this location! Everything is always on point and I never feel like I am waiting too long on my food! They also always ask if you would like sauces, napkins, utensils etc... They pack everything right here. When they are busy they are fast and polite! Keep it up guys! You're doing it right!

Excellent fish sandwich with a hefty piece of fish. It eats a little dry even with tartar sauce and a pickle, could use more tartar sauce. The French fries are delicious, seasoned and crispy. I love the foil lined wrapping paper; it shows attention to detail to keep the sandwich warm. No serving trays are used so just tear open and eat!

I like this Popeyes for their sides. Red rice and beans is my favorite. I also enjoy combining their fries and gravy. Unfortunately sides are small and expensive for their sizes and the chicken which, let's be honest, is what we're really here for is always dry and tough. Edit: that gravy that I like to have with the fries? 3.69 a side! For gravy! That's water and powder. Do better Popeyes.

The customer service was friendly and welcoming. The chicken was decent but nothing special, I ordered 3 thighs and although they were decently sized they weren't that fresh, but then again you're not expecting them to make it to order. The spicy chicken wasn't spicy at all. Coleslaw was decent.

Popeye's is Popeye's, so the food is tasty. Can't go wrong with delicious fried chicken and their tasty beans and rice. But, the service here is ridiculously slow because the workers don't seem to know how to prioritize. There were so many orders that were ready to be packaged and sent out, but the cashier, who was also packing and handing out orders continued to take orders. It was not a situation that requires two cashiers. Also, we added an extra order of slaw, which they left out -_- Would I go back? Yes. Will I be frustrated by the glacial service? Perhaps

The portions are not worth the price. For 2 pieces of dark meat chicken. 1 dried biscuit no butter and a med. Drink and sandwich blackened chicken , side of shrimp. Small tons of coating on the shrimp. $31.00 + tax. KFC on the 8 piece at least gives 2 sides and bisc uits. For under $30. You can feed 4 at price. Not at Popeyes. Too expensive for me. It was good but not great.

I went for a spicy chicken sandwich which had a nice spice to it. However, it wasn't as fresh as I would it liked it. I also had spicy chicken tenders which were a BIG disappointment. Not spicy at ALL, not fresh and just warm. They were like they had been sitting there for a while. Their mild version of tenders was better. They were hot and fresh! Service was good! Parking lot is very small.

Honestly, I never like to come to this place , I don't like the service how is it possible of who ever the owner is to have people working like this , the lady in the front was okay but the lady on the back with black t shirt , nasty attitude they should have better people working other wise this place everytime it will go down , if they are having a bad day I understand but ones you come to work leave your problems at home , I been in a industry on service many years and this is unfortunate.

Chicken is good. Skin is crispy in a breaded style. Tenders are ok but nothing worth going there for. Side dishes are nothing special but etable. Spicy really isn't Spicy and Mild should mean no flavor. BBQ dipping sauce is spicier then their spicy chicken recipe. service is great if you speak Spanish! 30min before their 10pm closing time I had to pick and choose which flavors I wanted because some weren't available they told me. Offered me no help in making my first time experience better. Ok overall. I might be back 1 day in the far far future.

I am only giving it a 2 because of poor customer service one of the cashiers by the name of Melissa is extremely rude and acts like she hates her job. Not a place she should be working with poor attitude.

Smelt really bad. All soda with gas was bad they were out of the gassy part. I just can't eat fast food anymore. It's no longer worth it. $8 bucks for a leg and a thigh ($10 plus if I had gotten the meal) and the peices we're ridiculously small. Convenience is costing too much these days. Just cook at home.

Went there to get one of the spicy chicken sandwiches and found out that they're making them so far ahead of time, it immediately was given to me and the bread look like it's been squashed the chicken was a little dry. Popeyes as a chain serves good enough fast food chicken, but many locations have less than stellar service. This one is the WORST in that regard. Employees are extremely rude, yelling at customers. It takes forever to prepare your food as well. I’d have to be really desperate to go back to this location.

I ordered one sandwich plain and it wasnt any of the two so I asked them to remake it. So they did and I went home and when I opened the box that had the fries with it, there was the sandwich, so in total I had 3. Like the sandwich and fries is pretty heavy and I dont know how the cashier didnt feel the weight when he put the box in the bag. Anyways. The sandwich is good and popeyes is pretty decent. I hardly crave it but I would wish they would train their cashiers better. It would make the wait and mistakes not so bad....

Food was okay, Kinda sketchy part of town. Overall good experience. Probably wouldn't go back, chicken tenders we're old and not that tasty. Be aware of you're Surroundings always. But especially in this part of town. Fast on the go food and tastes like it. Might try again for an update, might not.

I ordered from here via Postmates, part of my order was missing. The mashed potatoes barely had a drizzle of gravy which also tasted like oil cooking oil. The coleslaw tasted very different in the worst way.

At the time of this review, this location has 3.8 stars....that’s 2.8 stars higher than it deserves. Waited in 40 min line for absolute cr*p. The food was gross. The cleanliness was beyond poor. Enjoy!

Today i went to order food for my family 16 pc like i usually order... the cook on the back open the window or if you want to call it a window and look at me with ugly face he said something and the girls laugh and turn and look at me i ignore it got more mad they made me wait 32 mins for my food and then i get home and serve my kids notice the chicken is not cook well done this be the last time i go. Am disappointed popeyes was not like this before!

I love Popeye's chicken. I had back-to-back-to-back bad experiences at this Popeye's. I will never return. I may not visit another one for a long time. From as simple a shortcoming as not including a fork to eat my mashed potatoes, to closing the store despite me being in the drive-thru line prior to closing time. Finally, on my third visit, they didn't give me my drink, I drove back, told them and got one and watched as every member of their staff was in a big childish argument right in front of the customers. Then when I got back to my room, the order was wrong and they didn't include my apple pie. Sorry Popeye's but three strikes and you are out.

2 employees on the break at the same time. One cashier was on the job. He had to run back in the kitchen to prep the food after charging the customers. The chicken flavor was not as usually. Did not taste the Cajun flavor.

Not enough employees ever, its like the manager hates whoever they hire to work here. Massive lunch rushes on a busy corner and they think its good to have one guy behind the counter and 2 people in the back for a location that gets easily over 100 customers in an hour and probably more during lunch, dinner, etc. Wait times are way too long.

They haven't figured out how to stay open in a customer friendly way. They literally yell at you to wait outside, even when you have ordered from the app! You are.supppsed to wait to hear your name called, but once they've called, it takes 10 minutes or more to call again. And for some reason, despite having Plexiglas all over, and everyone in masks, the demand people who order there to have their back against the wall before being allowed to order. This location makes it so difficult, I won't be coming back anytime soon. Its almost like they are trying to make it unfriendly and drive people away.

If you come here because you’re hungry like myself try to avoid cashier Letty she ALWAYS has an attitude and lacks work ethics she literally looks like she hates her life and carry’s herself that way. Unbelievable how this place consistently finds the most incapable employees. I walked the employee through my order told her I wanted tenders three times and she still managed to screw or up. Last time they forgot the biscuits and it really is crazy how long it takes for them to just take an order.

The employee Steven needs to find another place of employment where his prissy attitude and stank face can be put to good use. Our order was missing the sides and when we went back, another employee kindly offered to help us until the gatekeeper of chicken, Steven, decided to slither on over and give us a hard time for their mistake. Why would we drive home and then drive all the way back for our missing sides just to come back home and have cold chicken waiting for us that wasn’t even hot to begin with? Steven, make it make sense? Is the $15/hr you make really worth the aneurysms you get from the veins popping out of your forehead? Get it together or go somewhere else. We sure will. This place gives cold chicken, incomplete orders, and has incompetent employees.

I recently went to popeyes on Sepulveda and Saticoy and ordered a chicken sandwich. I asked for my sauce for the sandwich to be placed on the side they had a problem with this and refused to honor my request. I let it go and received my order and the sandwich was horrible . It was not Crispy or crunchy. it was honestly horrible. This Popeyes does not cook there sandwiches right. Not happy 😒

Being from Louisiana I grew up loving that chicken from Popeyes....that all changed today. There was no restroom available nor were there any handwipes etc. I thought that was not a good thing and then the food I ordered was ready. They had the order all wrong and when I went to let them know the female worker with the orange bandana aka the rudest one of the crew felt the need to argue instead of making the order correct. At this point I was so over this place...I regret not letting them know about the human hair on the inside of the bag the meal was packaged in. My lunch break was over, my nerves were frazzled, and my appetite was lost. This particular location needs to educate their employees on proper food safety handling and customer service skills. I wish I could say at least the food was good but I cant even say that...the chicken was overcooked and not what my taste buds expected. So my advice is if you go to this location you should not need to wash your hands nor use the restroom, you should not expect good customer service and your order to be right, and you can look forward to the female employee wearing a bandana over her long hair to leave some of her hair on your food as she refuses to make things right for the customer. The location was a brand new opening and was a huge disappointment. All within my 30 minute lunch break I realized that I should have packed my lunch and avoided this nightmare.

Made a online order 10min prior. Get to the restaurant after serving a customer which I got the vibe it was a friend of one of the employees looks like getting free food. To then the cashier completely ignoring me goes to the back for idk what takes care of a completely new customer that was after me to get his name for his online order then goes to the back again come to the register still didn't acknowledge me I told him if he had a online order ready for me . He's asks the lady cook days they're a going to be a 9m8n wait for the sandwiches I leave come back over 20min later and it still was not done . Worst retail customer service y'all need to stop hiring kids they're ruining the customer service.

I don’t like writing bad reviews but I will because I asked for fresh cooked chicken and they gave me recooked chicken. The ones on the display are always old and taste like cardboard so I always ask to get fresh cooked chicken. When they handed me the bag I went home and took one bite off the wing and I definitely tasted recooked chicken. I used to work at Churches Chicken so I definitely know when it’s brand new or old. This is not the first time this happened but this is the last time I’ll be comping back here. From the looks of the reviews people are getting fed up of this behavior and I can definitely see more people expressing their issues. AVOID THIS PLACE!!

It took an hour and a half for my food to show up by Postmates order, and they completely left off a whole meal so my sons were forced to share. They serve good food here but you have to be careful when you go because they're chicken isn't always fresh and hot. Last week my wings were room temperature, and I had to microwave them because I was already at work and couldn't go back. Make sure your food is fresh and hot when you go here.

Warning: the wait time is very very long. I've personally waited half an hour or more for a small order. Also, ordering from door dash the carrier had to wait up to 40 minutes for a small order. The owner is obviously detrimentally cheap. He most likely believes having one employee in the front will save more money. However, it will affect the business in the long run. I urge people to speak up about this. We shouldn't have to wait up to 30-40 minutes for a fast-food order. Hire at least one more employee to take orders in the front.

we order A family member of 12 pieces to eat there we asked for 10 Spicy and 2 regular pieces for my younger sister and they didn't give us the correct chicken. It came cold and it didn't bring the regular pieces. We were missing a combination. She responded in a bad way saying that you had to notify us before they give us the order and with a bad way, which we do if we ask for the order correctly, it was not the way to treat a client as she did, she was very lousy and with a bad character she is supposed to If she's in charge, she's a manager. It's for these cases to help solve the problem, not to be rude. We got upset and left. We didn't eat to our liking.

We ordered from Uber eats the following: 1.) Spicy Chicken Sandwich- Food quality was low and food came to our house cold 2.) Ordered the new chicken wings and they didn’t come with the ranch ordered 3.) Didn’t receive the sauces ordered 4.) Deink was missing to our combo We spent $40 on take out for this to happen. You guys don’t understand how infuriating this is. Fast food places have (1) job only, and that’s to service their clients and provide clients with quality food. Incredible how much Popeyes has lost it.

I had an extremely frustrating experience today. When I approached Kenia with a simple concern, she immediately gave me attitude and made it very clear she didn’t want to deal with me. Instead of speaking to me directly or even attempting to understand the issue, she pushed the situation onto the cashier and walked away. From my experience, her behavior showed a serious lack of professionalism. It felt dismissive, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable for someone in a customer-facing role. This kind of conduct reflects poorly on the business, and I genuinely hope management addresses it, because no customer should be treated this way.
