I’m at El Saguan Café for their grand opening—located in the Expansive workspace at Central & Thomas! It’s busy and buzzing with fun. I had a delish breakfast burrito bowl (gluten-free, no wrap!) and a creamy decaf mocha with coconut milk. Great food, friendly people, and a vibe that makes you want to stay a while. Stop by and check them out!
I got a cortado here twice while in town on business and enjoyed both of them. Fast and friendly service. Just wish I had a chance to try the food. It all looked great!

I've worked on Central for 10+ years and just discovered this lil family owned spot! Delicious! I had the chicken street tacos and a questbirria taco. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu!

Never knew this spot was here co worker recommended and I will say besides my husbands they have the BEST Queso Birria Tacos I’ve had in AZ so delicious 🤤 flavor is spot on .
My boyfriend and I stopped in to see what they were all about and we were starving. It was a little piece of Heaven. A great place to have a meal or get a little piece a quiet. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted by Javi who just was so warm and welcoming and to think it's just him and Alma who make this place special. The food was amazing and the customer service top tier.
Had a cortado and the breakfast bagel sandwich. Reasonably priced, delicious and came out quickly! Will definitely be back! Also fyi they are giving 10% off if you bike or take transit.

Great experience! I was looking for a place to eat and grab a drink and to be honest I thought this was going to be a genetic food and coffee place inside an office serving cafeteria food. It was not! This was the best latte I’ve ever had! The barista recommended a concha with my horchata latte and it was amazing. The Cubano was freaking amazing. Highly recommend stopping by!

Great local spot in midtown! Avocado toast is delicious, baristas are friendly and welcoming, and you get a 10% off if you bike or take mass transit. If you love El Zaguan downtown, definitely stop in!

Stopped by the new El Zaguan Cafe right off the light rail to grab some tea and a snack. They just opened up and already have a great vibe.

The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and passionate about the food they serve. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and clearly made with love. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or a light bite, there’s something here for everyone. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the pastries? Absolutely divine. You can tell this place is built on authentic flavors and genuine care for the customer experience. El Zaguan is definitely a spot I’ll be returning to—and recommending to everyone I know!

Amazing place! The service is super friendly, delicious baked goods, and very well-crafted espresso drinks. The owner gave us some food from the new menu to sample! Love being able to support a local spot, and I appreciate the discount for cyclists :-)

I had a delicious hot chocolate with whipped cream. The baristas are very friendly and helpful! I love how easy this place is to get to from transit - it’s next to a light rail stop and is served by two bus routes - 0 (Central Ave) and 29 (Thomas Rd)
