Sono stata con mio marito e i miei due bambini domenica sera x cena, abbiamo ordinato antipasto e primi di pesce tutto squisito con porzioni abbondanti.i proprietari sono molto accoglienti ed a modo.tutto era fatto in casa dalla pasta fresca al dolce . prezzi ottimi . è stato piacevole e lo consiglio.

Esperienza decisamente positiva: domenica scorsa, a pranzo, siamo stati accolti gentilmente dal Personale, premuroso ma mai invadente, che ci ha fatti accomodare in una saletta interna ben arredata e molto pulita (includendo anche i servizi igienici che sono pure spaziosi, caso più unico che raro a Venezia). Abbiamo ordinato un menù di pesce: ottime le capesante al brandy, gustosissima la pasta fresca al pesce il tutto annaffiato da un prosecco di qualità. Per finire ci siamo presi una straordinaria fetta di torta calda con guarnizione al caramello. Il tutto al giusto prezzo. Che dire?: GRAZIE e alla prossima!

Mi è piaciuta tantissimo la cucina , i proprietari sono molto gentili e molto simpatici, tutto questo è per dire che non c'è nessun difetto.

This place has an excellent homemade fish stew served on pasta that is made on site. Their pasta is on display in the window. We highly recommend it! The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere of ceilings with old beams and pretty tile floors. Definitely worth a visit, especially compared with nearby restaurants that are considerably more expensive.

I am quite astonished to read former reviews as this was our best culinary experience in Venice. The plates and menus look different than at the photos of former reviewers - could there have been a change of owners?? We had the black squid ink risotto, salad and grilled vegetables which were all very tasty and beautifully presented. Tiramisu (prepared by the waitress who is a pastry chef) was heavenly. Excellent wine. Everyone was very friendly. The place is aesthetic and has a very nice ambiance. Service charge is customary in Italy. Perhaps priced slightly above the average, but so was the food! We would recommend wholeheartedly.

Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, good wine list. I had tagliatelle with squid - really delicious. Definitely on par with higher rated restaurants close by. Some of the criticisms of charges etc perhaps unfair, might demonstrate ignorance of the reviewer. Hope this helps!

Fabulous find one night as my best friend and I were looking for food. Walked into this gem and we had one of our best nights. From the meat and cheese board, to the pasta, the wine, and by all means, accept the limoncello, and ask for the meloncello. I would go back just for the limoncello and meloncello. I’ve never tasted a better cordial. The chef was amazing, kind, and made our dinner that more enjoyable. I recommend everyone stopping in, if just for a spirit or wine.

Honestly surprised at the other lower reviews, because my experience was pretty good. The owner was very friendly and did his best to accommodate us. If you are in Venice, you shouldn't miss out seafood, and that's what I had too. The fried seafood mix and cuttlefish ink pasta are both amazing. Setting is very pretty, though it was a weird choice of music at first lol. The location is near the duomo so it is pretty easy to access, although it might be easy to overlook from the outside as the restaurant opposite had very bright lighting.

Close to San Marco Square in a historical and cozy location. We were welcomed from a friendly owner which made us taste delicious fish based starters followed by hand made pasta with a tasty, Mediterranean sword fish sauce. A culinary experience not to be missed !

Locale nella media, simile ad altri locali che si trovano nel centro di Venezia, nel complesso carino, anche se l’arredamento interno ricorda un po’ il passato. Abbiamo mangiato bene, in particolare il dolce era molto buono. Buon vino. Servizio ottimo gentile e veloce. Prezzi medio/alti. Il servizio equivale al 12% del conto.

We had a good meal here. The shellfish for the stater was very fresh, the cannelloni was very good but could have been a bit larger but all in all very good. The atmosphere was quite flat and the waiter seemed disinterested in us once we were in there, he was more interested in stepping out every now and then to try and coax people in but ultimately he was on his phone every few minutes. I would give this a 3-star review. The food is good enough for at least a 3 but the whole package is saved by the owner/chef who was very nice and obviously puts his heart into it. The cover charge is 12% so fairly standard and they won’t let you pay service on a credit card. Cash only.

I ordered a steak and I requested it to be well done, the chef prepared it medium. The chef should never ignored the customer's requests even he disagreed with my preference. The rest of the food was great. What I am NOT happy is the service. I m used to the cheerful servers in Toronto and the US so I am surprised to find that Italian servers are often miserable and bored. The server here is miserable. She made me feel unwelcomed and I felt like I was bothering her. It took me 5 min to catch her attention so I could get the bill. She ignored me, so after a while I said 'excuse me' , she totally ignored me! I had to walk up to the counter. The server is so rude!!!!

Our tour group had our farewell dinner at this restaurant. The pasta was over cooked, the first time I ever experienced this in my travels in Italy. It was undercooked for our entire table of 10 guests. Dessert was not great. The other dishes were okay. White wine was not strong at all.

Traditional little restaurant with a focus on fish and seafood (most places in Venice focus on fish and seafod). The food was nice without being overly interesting, which excludes the suggested side order of french fries that were directly boring. Still, the atmosphere was relaxed and it is a far cry from the tourist traps at the main locations.

"Average". Nice enough looking place from the outside and after chatting to the waiter on the door we decided to give it a go, especially after he promised not to include the 12% service charge on our bill (which normally would be)... once inside the place had little atmosphere with only one other table in and the waiter inside didn't seem bothered about serving us. Beer was served in a wine glass, and the bottle of white wine was warm. Spaghetti meatballs for €16 was a pretty small portion and although the pasta was nice the meatballs were bland and tasted bought in. The saving grace was the end of the meal, tiramisu was delicious, followed by a nice caffe' americano.... At this point the waiter from outside had come in to help serve and he was much friendlier, managed to cheer up my very tired nephew, and stuck to his word in keeping the service charge off the bill. Definitely saved it from being an overall poor visit.

Had the carbonara and the matricana, must admit the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauces were super nice, would have rated it a 5 however the dreaded adding charges to the bill. The pasta was 24, water was 4 and some how the bill ended up being 41 with service charged and table charge

Dopo aver trovato tre ristoranti chiusi nelle vicinanze, abbiamo deciso di fermarci qui, incoraggiati dalle recensioni che sembravano promettenti. Purtroppo, l’esperienza si è rivelata ben lontana dalle aspettative. Ho ordinato una carbonara che, con grande sorpresa, mi è stata servita con prosciutto cotto al posto del guanciale: un dettaglio che da solo basterebbe a far dubitare della serietà della cucina. Come secondo, ho scelto delle scaloppine di vitello al limone: nel piatto sono arrivate due fettine sottilissime, eccessivamente acide e totalmente prive di sapore. È stato deludente constatare come un locale che si presenta in modo così invitante si riveli poi una vera e propria trappola per turisti. Un peccato, e un’occasione sprecata, perché con un po’ più di cura e autenticità avrebbero potuto lasciare un’impressione ben diversa.

Venice is my favourite city in the world and this restaurant had the audacity to serve the worst food I'm every likely to receive in this city. They served my husband frozen lasagne that was barely warmed through. I paid €25 for fish mixed grill that comprised of one peice of fish and three shell fish. Really poor presentation and poor food. Lack lustre service and €100 for exceptionally bad poor quality cold food. Such a disappointment in this amazing city. Don't spend your money here you'll sure to be disappointed

A very bad exprerience. The service was rude and definitely in for a scam. And the pizza itself was horrible for 10 EUR. It looked like someone took a bite out of it, it was small and the cheese also tasted like nothing. A friend of mine found a hair in their tomato sauce. Wouldnt recomend.
