Cibo di scarsa qualità. Avevamo ordinato una pasta al nero di seppia e ci hanno portato una pasta bianca o al pomodoro senza fare neanche uno sconto. Meglio così, perchè i miei compagni di tavolo hanno valutato negativamente il sugo dal sapore poco buono e poco digeribile. Conto molto salato.

We stopped for dinner without checking the reviews - big mistake. The service was extremely slow and unfriendly, and the pizza we ordered was undercooked and soggy. The other food wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't memorable. If you're looking for a quick, inexpensive meal, it might work, but it's not a classic Venitian Italian restaurant. It's a quick hit for the tourists.

Sono stato qui il 27/12/2023 e il locale era strapieno di persone con una puzza insopportabile. In generale le condizioni igieniche di questo locale sono inaccettabili e i bagni sono ricoperti di feci e urina su muri e pavimento. Il cibo è immangiabile e di qualità estremamente bassa. I prezzi sono esorbitanti. Il personale è maleducato e arrogante e ci hanno aggrediti senza motivo. Sconsiglio vivamente anche solo di pensare di venirci.

Se dico da evitare è riduttivo... Ristorante peggiore della mia vita, piatti e bicchieri sporchi e tovaglia piena di briciole, si parte da un menù di 14 euro in cui ti offrono un primo e un secondo piatto. La pasta al nero di seppia piena di aglio e completamente insapore, mentre i calamari fritti sono contati e pieni d'olio, per non parlare della pizza... Abbiamo ordinato due pizze d"asporto, visto che il locale era nelle vicinanze del nostro hotel. Pizza o in realtà un insieme di ingredienti messi alla rinfusa, dalla consistenza secca e piatta. Da evitare assolutamente. Prezzi esorbitanti.

Uno dei ristoranti peggiori della mia vita …..per l’ambiente , l’odore, il personale e il cibo. Sono andata a cena con il mio ragazzo , essendo dietro piazza San Marco, con un minimo di aspettative. Ho preso degli spaghetti con le cozze e non sapevano di nulla , per di più sono stata male tutta la notte. Abbiamo preso un calice di vino che se avessimo bevuto l’acqua della fogna sarebbe stata sicuramente meglio o uguale. Inoltre il servizio era lento , siamo arrivati quando inizialmente non c’era nessuno e siamo stati serviti per ultimi. Il personale indisponibile, incompetentemente , non sapeva neanche comunicare con il cliente e soprattutto ignoravano le tue richieste . SCONSIGLIO fortemente questo ristorante .

Ristorante da evitare! Ti offrono il menù da 15 euro abbiamo preso il primo spaghetti al nero di seppia, erano stra cotti e per lo più sapevano di pomodoro orribili. Il secondo polpette con il sugo, era veramente misero. caffè 3 euro e 50, era un caffè lungo sembra di bere acqua colorata. Ve lo sconsiglio veramente pur essendo a due passi da Piazza San Marco.

Abominio culinario. Ho atteso almeno 24 ore prima di fare una recensione, non tanto come periodo di riflessione, quanto per sincerarmi di essere ancora vivo. Io ne ho mangiata di monnezza in giro per il mondo, ma questo luogo osceno non ha paragoni, "BEPI L'ONTO" è tre stelle Michelin a confronto. Tre pizze sicuramente surgelate, uccise da un pomodoro al plutonio, base di cemento armato. Sembrava di aver mangiato del DASH. Non oso immaginare la cucina, roba che Cannavacciuolo entra e piglia a sberle cuoco, camerieri e proprietario con le tovaglie sintetiche lercie. 6 euro per una bottiglia da 0,75 di acqua naturale, manco fosse liquido beatificato dalla Madonna dell'Incoroneta. Il tutto ovviamente senza scontrino fiscale, giusto per non lasciare prove. Da ieri che mastico qualcosa per togliermi il gusto da fogna di Calcutta del pomodoro. Dovrebbero pagarmi una seduta da uno bravo per togliermi dalla mente questa esperienza. Statene lontani. Credetemi.

Locale datato con musica anni 70 Cucina impresentabile e prezzi esorbitanti per quanto offerto cioè pochissimo Proprietario scortese con il personale,altezzoso e scostante. Menù fisso a 15 euro. Mangiare qui è stato più un fastidio che un piacere. Anche l’ambiente non trasmette affatto attenzione o professionalità, dando la sensazione di scarsa cura e poca attenzione alla pulizia generale. Nel complesso, è un posto che personalmente sconsiglio vivamente e in cui non avrei alcun motivo di tornare.

Di solito prima di andare in un “ristorante” verifichiamo le recensioni: sta volta, mannaggia a noi, eravamo di passaggio per una gita a Venezia e presi dalla fame dei bambini ci siamo fermati in questo posto che definire un incubo è un eufemismo. Ci accoglie Moira Orfei 2.0 con modi da scaricatore di porto: per tutto il tempo non ha fatto altro che ruminare non si sa cosa, scambiare battute e parolacce coi colleghi e sculettare qua e la inutilmente. Tovaglia e bicchieri macchiati, il bagno no comment. I camerieri hanno difficoltà a comunicare coi clienti e parlano a malapena l’italiano. Mentre tagliano il pane da portare a tavola ne mettono in bocca dei pezzi. Ci servono 5 pizze surgelate immangiabili, tanto che anche loro fanno fatica a tagliarle con la rotella. Alla seconda fetta ci sale già acidità di stomaco. Dal tavolo intravediamo l’interno della cucina, in condizioni pietose. Dulcis in fundo il conto: i bambini hanno chiesto una piccola aggiunta di patatine sulla pizza (che credetemi si potevano contare sulle dita di una mano) e ci sono state fatte pagare due pizze margherita e due porzioni di patatine. Una bottiglia d’acqua 6€. Insomma evitate questo posto come la peste.

We had a really bad experience here, attention wasn't ok, waiter was all the time laughing with the other waitress, and it was worse after we asked for a beer...I don't understand it yet. Then pizzas weren't ok, diavola didn't even feel spicy at all. Of course as people are saying they charged with the 12% service which isn't worthy and even after reading outside that they wouldn't charge it. It's a pity that Venice has places like this. If I'd read the reviews here before I wouldn't have tried this place...but when you're walking, tired and just want to eat something you end up in places like this one. What a pity. 80 euros for such a disgusting experience. Don't go here. What a shame this place....

What we experienced was unacceptable. The staff were openly rude, hostile, and dismissive, and the treatment felt clearly discriminatory toward us as Asians. We were spoken to with attitude and shown far less respect than other guests. Even with a small child, there was zero patience or courtesy. The manager was arrogant and completely unprofessional, unwilling to listen or resolve anything. To make matters worse, despite this horrible behavior, they added a 12% service charge — charging extra for terrible service and disrespect. Being busy on New Year’s Eve is NO EXCUSE for rude, discriminatory behavior or forced service charges. ❌ DISCRIMINATORY TREATMENT ❌ RUDE STAFF & ARROGANT MANAGER ❌ 12% SERVICE CHARGE FOR BAD SERVICE ❌ NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY Avoid at all costs. Food was absolutely terrible. We took the complete meal. The spaghetti bolognese was severely undercooked and amount of sauce was VERY inconsistent across our family’s dishes. It was very bland. The chicken was extremely dry and rubbery. It was also way too smoky and dint have ANY seasoning. Service was also pretty miserable, waiters were doing their own thing half the time, unaware of the customers. Definitely very unlucky we saw this place without seeing the reviews first. Would not recommend.

Absolutely awful. The pizza was a disgrace — the cheese smelled wrong, tasted even worse, and was completely inedible. We genuinely questioned whether it was spoiled. Calling this “pizza” is insulting. What makes it even more unbelievable is that this is Italy, a country famous for incredible food. Serving something this bad here is honestly shameful. To make matters worse, we were casually asked if we wanted water, with no mention of price, and then charged €6 for it. A cheap tourist trap move on top of disgusting food. Overpriced, low quality, and embarrassing. Avoid at all costs.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience during our visit. Our server struggled to take our order and showed very little interest in assisting us. We were brought French fries we never requested, the chicken was undercooked and lacked flavor, and the pizza was wet in the center, overall, not a great meal. Toilet had no paper ! When it was time to leave, I asked server for the bill, but three employees were simply laughing and talking among themselves. Only after I firmly asked did someone finally help us. It’s a shame, because the place looks nice and has a convenient location. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and urgency really took away from the experience. I should have checked the starts before eating there ! They are only 2.5 ✨ ! Too bad I understood later !

A really poor experience. We were in a rush we ordered 2 pizzas . The pizzas did arrive quickly but were the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Base was hard and over cooked. Topping only covered about half of the pizza. We were then asked to pay a cover charge even though there were signs everywhere saying no cover charge. Do not waste your money here !

You better fire your money before eating here, at least it's funny. Hidden service percentage, drinks overpriced, not even capable of making an acceptable carbonara, they used cream and ham instead of guanciale, they are an insult to Italy itself, most of the dishes are frozen. What a shame, they should close this place and start actually working on an honest job, not even the waiters are friendly. Ignore good reviews (the few they have), more of them are stock images.

This is one of the worst places I have eaten. The pizza was disgusting. Clams with garlic, disgusting. There are so many places to choose from and we were very unlucky to have picked here. Worse meal in Italy. Then now I see the reviews. 1 star, spot on. 5 stars must be written by the owner. The food is disgusting.

A joke of a restaurant. By far the literal worst restaurant experience I had in Italy, top 3 in my life. The “meal deal” gave me spaghetti I could have made better as a non Italian from a supermarket and I got 2 quarter sized meatballs as my secondo. Pizza tasted like frozen cardboard and the worst I’ve ever had. When we complained the waiter just shrugged at us. Avoid at all costs. Would be 0 stars.

This is, without a doubt, one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever visited. It’s in a prime location, and we were drawn in by the energetic doorman. But don’t be fooled—his enthusiasm was the only good thing about this place. What followed was a total disaster. Italy, a country known for its exceptional pasta even in the smallest villages, should be ashamed to have this restaurant within its borders. The pasta was terrible—undercooked and bland, tasting like nothing but plain tomato. The carbonara was even worse. I’ve seen videos where Italian chefs take pride in their dishes, but this restaurant is an embarrassment to that tradition. We thought maybe the dessert would redeem the experience, but the tiramisu was a huge letdown—honestly, the one from my local supermarket tastes better. If you don’t want to ruin your day with this awful food, stay far away from this place. Avoid it like the plague!

One of the worst places I have ever been. Big mistake that I didn't check the reviews first. They beg you to sit and then disrespect you directly. Angry staff, no smile, throwing stuff instead of serving, getting so angry when asking for something or changing dirty wine glass which you paid to drink not to throw away. The pene Alfredo was so tasteless and had just penne and cream. I don't recommend it at all. Don't waste your money here.

The toppings were sparse and poorly distributed, with barely any cheese or sauce to speak of. The few vegetables that were present were overcooked and charred to the point of bitterness. The most egregious aspect of our meal was the overall presentation. The pizza looked unappetizing and hastily thrown together, as if no effort was made to create a visually appealing dish. It was a stark contrast to the beautiful, vibrant pizzas we had hoped to enjoy. To top it all off, the cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable at best. The tableware and cutlery were not properly cleaned, and the overall hygiene of the place left much to be desired. In summary, Ristorante Pizza e Bar Da Celio provided one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The combination of poor service, subpar food quality, and lack of cleanliness makes it a place I cannot recommend to anyone. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a decent meal.
