Excelente experiencia, buscaba algo bueno bonito y barato y le atinamos, porciones justas en relación al precio que es en general muy accesible, si me sorprendio, recomendable opcion a la orilla del malecon.

I 100% recommend this place, "LAS MOJARRITAS." The breaded grilled steak, the seafood-stuffed steak, and the octopus tostadas are delicious; very well-seasoned and generously portioned. The staff is very friendly. Visit them; they're in an excellent location, quite close to the Malecón.

The seasoning on the food is very tasty...they give you enough portions for an adult meal. The service is also efficient, even though they only have one or two servers and the place is packed with diners. They charge a 10 percent tip directly on the bill without asking, which is surprising at first...but I think the service is worth it. It's a small, family-run place that serves traditional Mexican and Puerto Rican food.

Pues la comida y la atención bien pero el precio es algo exagerado para lo que sirven y el mesero se cobró la propina a lo chino porque ni preguntó la verdad no lo recomiendo...

La comida no esta rica, para el costo sirven muy poco y no hay variedad de platillos.

The service is good, the waiters are attentive and quick, BUT THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE. We ordered shrimp broth and shrimp salad, and they literally brought us water flavored with epazote, THREE shrimp that tasted like butter, and the "salad" had way too much tomato and onion. It didn't have any dressing, just a little mayonnaise. I asked for limes, mayonnaise, and ketchup to give it some flavor. I don't recommend it. And the prices for what they served ARE VERY EXPENSIVE.

Well, this experience wasn't as pleasant as I expected... When I passed by the place, I saw lots of people eating and I went along with the feeling that it must be good... but it wasn't like that at all. To begin with, the waiter who served me told me that they only had about 3 dishes, and to my surprise, other tables that arrived at a similar time were brought different things... and the food itself seemed bland to me; there was no seasoning, no enthusiasm.

The waiter provided good service and was friendly, but the food was very expensive for what it was. Also, the tilapia (each one was different) upset our stomachs, perhaps because the kitchen is next to the bathroom; we don't know. Furthermore, the tip is already included in the bill (10% of the total).

My worst experience in Veracruz.... We saw the place was busy and went along thinking it was good... The food was mediocre, the prices were outrageous, and the person who served us just brought our food and never came back to our table. When we asked for the bill, they added the mandatory tip and got annoyed if we didn't leave what they demanded... I absolutely do not recommend this place.

What they sell you as octopus is actually squid tentacle...it's a scam, and they even sneakily add the tip to the bill. The sea bream is raw inside...in short, IT'S A HUGE SCAM FOR TOURISTS.

I just went on September 27, 2024, and it was a terrible choice. The place looks quiet, it's a small place. We wanted to try it, but what a surprise! The waiter is a guy with his hands in his bags. We asked him three times for lemons, he forgets things. The food is very salty. My wife and daughter ordered mojarra, which was super salty. We ordered Tehuacán, which was prepared so well, and it was super salty. The service took, I think, the usual amount of time to serve. They wanted a 10% tip, and honestly, we didn't leave anything due to the terrible service. Another table arrived and they also asked for a water that never arrived. The guy couldn't even come up with our bill; it took him about 10 minutes to bring it. I honestly don't think I'd go back there, not even for a joke. Bad service and poor customer service.

The prices were a bit high, but that's understandable given it's a hotel zone. The problem was that when we finished and received the bill, they had charged us for a "vuelve a la vida" cocktail when we had only ordered a large one. Terrible service, the food was tasteless, and the chipotle octopus tasted more like octopus in mole sauce 😕 Not to mention they could have at least given the tortilla guy a napkin and cleaned his hands...
