We visited here on a Wednesday evening and were drawn in by the atmosphere. Plenty of locals drinking here and good service with a lovely indoor area too. Not one cheapest spot at €15 for 2 x 400ml beers, but good atmosphere.

Jump into nightlife in Brera district and enjoy Bar Jamaica. A meeting point for artists, designers, photographers, writers and the hip people. The prices for drinks and food are rather on a high level but the meals are very tasteful. Ask permission at the staff to take pictures. Heated outdoor terrace in winter.

Average food and drinks, but what a great location. Stopped off for a nightcap here, I got a negroni and wife had an orange juice. Was surprised by the complimentary snacks; crisps, nuts and bruschetta. Negroni was a bit 'meh', not terrible, but I've definitely had better. Orange juice was a little too sour to the point that despite the salty snacks she didn't finish it (she wasn't all that thirsty anyway to be fair). Snacks themselves were a little stale, but did appreciate getting a little something to nibble on for free. What made this place noteworthy though was the bustling pedestrian street it's located on. Great for people watching. Next time I'd probably skip the cocktail and get something simpler like a bottled beer, but otherwise it was quite reasonably priced.

Si passaggio, mi sono fermato una sera a mangiare la pizza. Pizza assolutamente mediocre, birra alla spina solo di marche commerciali (Moretti, Ichnusa, Messina, ecc). Locale non particolarmente curato, sia all'interno che all'esterno. Insomma più un posto per pranzi veloci da turisti che un buon locale dove cercare. Si trova comunque in una zona frequentata e i camerieri sono stati gentili.

Si possono tollerare molte cose, ma non la maleducazione della gestrice nei confronti del personale. I ragazzi ai tavoli si sono prodigati nel fare il proprio lavoro, ma la cafoneria della gestrice è stata imbarazzante.

entrati mezz'ora fa per bere un caffè al banco...proprietario dietro il bancone, con zucchero e sgabelli notar bene, dice "non facciamo caffetteria". 114 anni di attività buttati via. Peccato perchè andavo spesso lì a bere il caffè non mi aspettavo un comportamento tale in un locale semivuoto. Dalle recensioni che leggo il posto ha avuto un tracollo che non pensavo

La torta era buona e la piadina decente ma il servizio talmente scarso che sono costretto a dare 1 sola stella. Praticamente arriva il cameriere per farsi pagare mentre stavo ancora mangiando la piadina... E dice : "non è per cacciarvi via ma ho il cambio turno quindi devo farvi pagare". Non ha senso un tale atteggiamento. Poi tra l'altro portano la coca con ghiaccio e limone senza nemmeno chiedere se li vuoi. Sul menù mettono cose che poi non hanno... E vabbè... Insomma servizio davvero pessimo.

servizio terribile , un cameriere vecchio e scontroso ci ha trattato malissimo. Prezzi falsi, sul menu l’acqua costava 2,5€ e il cameriere me l’ha fatta pagare 5 con la scusa che di sera costa di più (senza nessuna indicazione). Una truffa. bello il bar solo per la posizione nel quartiere brera

peccato! è un bar carino con personale che sembra molto gentile e carino, peccato che poi ci abbiano dato, con 4 aperitivi, una ciotola scarsa di arachidi, una ciotola di patatine e un piattino micro con due quadrotti di focaccia bianca, due crocchtte di patate e due pizzettine piccole di sfoglia. Davvero scadente. E' un gran peccato perchè il posto è in zona super e anche l'ambiente è un pò di altri tempi ma carino. ciao

Siamo stati accolti e poi lasciati seduti per un’ora intera senza che nessuno si degnasse di chiederci un ordine. Quando finalmente abbiamo chiesto tè e tisane, come indicato nel loro menu, ci è stato detto che non erano disponibili. La cosa assurda è che al tavolo accanto le stavano bevendo, quindi oltre al disservizio c’è stata anche una mancanza di trasparenza. Un’esperienza complessivamente deludente e poco professionale. Sicuramente non torneremo.

Tourist trap: do not come here Ti sfilano dalla mano il bicchiere appena finisci. Fanno di tutto per farti sentire a disagio ed andartene. Locali come questo sono il motivo per cui le persone smetteranno di venire in Italia

Arroganza ai massimi livelli, attenzione al cliente pari a zero. Praticamente dobbiamo ringraziare noi per aver potuto consumare e pagare, tra l’altro tutto carissimo. Non basta essere ‘un locale storico’ se non avete altro solo il nome!

Se potessi dare 0 lo farei. Andiamo per un aperitivo non vedendo le recensioni (gravissimo errore), il proprietario è di una scortesia imbarazzante sia con i suoi camerieri che con noi. Ci ha detto "volete altro? Ah ok allora state andando via giusto?" Il tempo di andare in bagno e mentre aspettavo la mia amica non contento per il poco velato commento (siamo state nemmeno un'ora) ci ha anche detto "dai dai che liberiamo il tavolo che ho la fila". E andando via ancora "era ora". Ma sei serio? Allibita, ecco perché c'erano 0 persone del luogo e solo turisti, imbarazzante davvero. Mai più

State alla larga da questo locale storico. Avevamo deciso di provarlo solo per la storia del locale. Risotto con ossobuco da € 22: ossobuco passabile ma il risotto era scotto e anonimo. Porzione per niente abbondante. Decisamente troppi i 22 euro. Siamo stati 50 minuti al tavolo, non lo specifico per il tempo di attesa ma perché la titolare ha maltrattato pubblicamente i dipendenti per TUTTO il tempo, sia nell'ingresso che fuori sul marciapiede, in quest'ultimo caso pure davanti ai passanti oltre che ai clienti. Inaccettabile.

Esperienza decisamente sgradevole. Il cameriere si è dimostrato maleducato e poco rispettoso nei confronti del cliente. Avevo chiesto un secondo Spritz dopo una lunga attesa, e al momento di richiamare l’attenzione del cameriere per sapere se l’ordine fosse stato dimenticato, la sua risposta è stata: “Guarda quanti tavoli abbiamo. Se non ti sta bene, vai in un altro locale.” Non mi aspettavo delle scuse, ma nemmeno di essere trattato in questo modo. Lascio a voi ogni considerazione.

Unpleasant staff. They laughed at us and spoke about us in Italian. We waited over 10 minutes for the drinks menu even though there was no one else there. The waiter threw it on the table when we asked for it. No sign of politeness, no thank you. We do not recommend it at all and the cocktails were not good. Fortunately, in France we know how to behave.

Don’t recommend to go here if you want to have a pleasant evening et experience. The service is horrible, we weren’t even welcomed by staff. After we came and we received the menu, we haven’t had opened the menu yet when the waiter asked if we had already chose smth 🤦🏻‍♀️ like the level of the attitude when they want to get rid of us. The pasta was deceiving too, we were waiting for 20 minutes et my dish were brought already cold. After, when the moment of paiement came and, we paid everything, the waiter didn’t even look at us and didn’t thank us at all, he said nothing and left. Frankly, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had

Came in during a rain storm and asked for 2 espressos. It was around 16:00. We asked for the drink menu specifically and saw that there’s a whole coffee section before ordering. The waiter had no idea what he was doing. When we were ordering he abruptly walked away to ask if they can make us coffee. He came back and said that “we can make it for you guys but no one else.” Then after 20 minutes of waiting and waiting no one came up to us so we left. On top of this there was a poor couple sitting next to us who ordered food and after couple minutes the same waiter told them that they didn’t have sauce left for the pasta and they left as well. It seemed like everybody was having an unpleasant experience. We left and no one even asked if we were served or not. It was like a joke

Genuinely awful. The bruschetta, gnocchi and tortellini were all varying levels of meh with the latter being borderline disgusting. The young man serving us was rude, inept and seemed to have no comprehension of the menu. Others around us seemed to be having a similar experience for dinner. Seemed like a decent place to have a drink, I guess?

I visited the Jamaica restaurant in Milan and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The service was extremely rude – especially the older waiter, who was unfriendly from the very beginning. After we placed our first order, he immediately brought us the bill, even though we were planning to order more dishes and drinks. When we pointed this out, he told us that we had to pay right away anyway. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I felt more like an unwelcome guest than a customer. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Its a trap 🪤 we ordered an aperitivo, the drink tasted like chemicals, and the food served was the cheapest kind. I asked the waiter if i could switch since the drink was very bad and i had only taken a sip, instead of checking with his manager or the bar he directly said no and that we have to pay if we want to change.. very disappointing place!

If I could give zero stars, I probably would. We waited an entire hour for our food because the female server completely forgot about us, while other customers who arrived after us were served promptly. She only remembered our order after we had to follow up, and even then, the appetizer came out just shortly after our reminder. The long wait wasn't even worth it. The beef carpaccio was incredibly bland, with no accompanying flavors or elements to enhance it. The cannelloni we ordered was similarly disappointing, with a flat, unremarkable taste. We made the mistake of not checking the reviews beforehand, and now we understand why this restaurant has received such poor feedback from others. It's clear that the issues with service and food quality are consistent and pervasive.
