Davvero un ristorante affascinante, il sapore italiano come se fosse nell’italia stessa, tutto è alla grande e in particolare la vista sul nilo direttamente,a dire la verità era un’esperienza indimenticabile e la farò mille volte voglio ringraziare tutto lo staff stupefacente e soprattutto karim che è il capo, grazie di tutto e ci becchiamo al più presto ❤

Consiglio vivamente di andare a cenare in questo bellissimo ristorante vista Nilo. Pizza davvero buonissima in una locazione molto elegante e suggestiva con pavoni liberi ma non invadenti. Personale davvero cordiale e servizio impeccabile, con anche posate perfettamente imbustate. Ben frequentato, clientela allegra ma musica non troppo alta. Una bella scoperta! Il proprietario sig. Alabar davvero gentile e cordiale. Grazie!!

The place is amazing! The vibes, service, attention and welcoming atmosphere. I was wondering about the 4.9 rating pf google of 13.5k reviews, and when i came, I realized why! They give you attention like you are the only guest in the place, despite it’s full house! The food quality is unparalleled, the Fruitte De Mare pizza is just awesome ! Full of seafood goodness. Tomato soup and buratta salad were the best way to start what was then a series of the best pizzas and pastas you would wish for! Mr.Alaa -the manager- made sure we got the right table, then our waiter Abdelrahman gave the best recommendations and made sure the girls are enjoying with his engaging and friendly approach! Overall, the place is definitely a 5 out of 5. The only downside is that i only came to know that they had an option to take a private boat ride for 1 hr for EGP 1500 -up to 10/15 pax- and get your food aboard for a 1 hr nile cruise! Next time, i would definitely take this option! 100% worth it 👍👍👍👍👍 keep up the great vibes, food, service and welcoming attitude 👏👏

Italian place with a lovely Nile river view. Sit by the terrace and enjoy the river breeze. Portions are generous and large. Both the pizza and lasagna lived up to expectations, and the smoothies are delicious. Come and enjoy!

It was so delicious that I went there twice for lunch during my stay. The staff even suggested, “Would you like to move to the riverside table if it opens up?”—such warm hospitality, and the food was absolutely outstanding. My top recommendation is the Linguine Frutti di Mare. I’ll be recommending this restaurant to all my friends who visit Cairo from now on.

The service here is amazing! The staff is so nice and the food comes out very quick although it was a very busy time. Mohamed Wael was amazing he is so nice and friendly. We came on a Friday and it did take a bit to get seated but that is expected for a weekend. I would recommend calling in for a reservations on the weekend. The atmosphere and the decor is amazing. We got the truffle pasta 1000/10 it was sooooooo yummy my favorite thing here. Definetly can’t wait to come back!

We stumbled upon Il Nilo by complete chance, and what a beautiful find it turned out to be. The restaurant sits right on the Nile, with lush greenery hanging over red-and-white checkered tables and the most peaceful view of the water. It’s such a charming and relaxing setting, perfect for a quiet coffee or a long lunch. We arrived a bit too early to try their pizza (which looked amazing on the menu!), but we enjoyed a really good coffee and their patatas (fries), simple but so tasty. 🥔☕ There was even a peacock wandering around the courtyard, adding a little magic to the whole experience. 🦚I wish we could have stayed longer and come back later for pizza. Highly recommend for the atmosphere alone - a hidden gem right on the Nile. 💛🇪🇬

Lovely place, the mood is perfect with the nile view, it is very cosy and relaxing. Ordered the pesto chicken pasta, veryyyy flavorful and perfectly cooked, the pizza also was amazing, the dough along with the toppings and the buratta cheese was fresh and yummm😍 also their ice tea was very refreshing and tasty.

Mr. Kareem is so nice and the team is so professional we wished we had the nile view table also we have booked from 5:45 till 9 and someone else took the table we booked we ended up sitting in a random table that was the only issue also we hadn't tried the food so not comment about it.

Il Nilo is absolutely amazing! The view of the Nile is breathtaking and the atmosphere is so cozy and romantic. The staff are very friendly and professional, and the service is excellent. The food was delicious – especially the pizza and pasta, fresh and full of flavor. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Cairo. Incase you didn't see pictures, there are animals like birds, rabbits and cats that roam around and it's highly likely they'll touch your feet but they're pretty tame and don't go any further than that. We came on a Friday so the restaurant was pretty crowded and it took us about 2 hours to finally be moved to a table with a view of the Nile river but the food arrived quickly and the employees were well mannered and patient. Shout-out to Mohamed Ali and Kareem tho for being our main servers 🙏🏾

Nice Italian style restaurant and good food. The atmosphere and staff were nice. Expect to see peacocks and guineafowls wondering around 😄. Parking and crossing the street were challenging though so be careful. Management; please work on the issue of houseflies, either by fans, or more biologic traps. Otherwise, I would recommend this restaurant👍🏼

La pizza non è molto digeribile.

Si mangia bene ma... si spaccia per ristorante italiano ma non lo è per niente inoltre quando vedono che sei straniero ti mettono somme in più sul conto che nel nostro caso sono arrivate al 30 x cento in piu spacciandole per Iva e tasse sul servizio. Mangiare bene si ma essere presi per scemi non lo ammetto.

The place was super cozy and comfy but music was extremely loud . In general , I like il Nilo because it’s a full experience due to the presence of different types of birds . I didn’t like the taste of tomato sauce on pizza although the dough was perfect .

Food is great, toilet wasnt clean, the music is externally loud and it doesnt suit anyone with brain conditions. Also the service was slow with more than one waiter, the place isn't suitable for people with walking tools as there is not suitable entrance for wheelchairs and it has many stairs. They should consider people with less ability and fix the female bathrooms.

Luogo molto bello, lungo il Nilo, sicuramente apprezzabile d'estate. Il cibo non un granché, sia pizza che pasta, cruda la prima, scusa la seconda.

Se siete italiani non ci andate. Cibo neanche malissimo, ma il locale è sporchissimo e antigienico. Il cameriere scocciato perché abbiamo chiesto di cambiare la tovaglia con i resti di cibo dei clienti di prima. Faraone e altri uccelli che girano libere sui tavoli e lasciano escrementi ovunque. PESSIMO
