We had a wonderful time at Bastione: the service was truly fantastic, especially thanks to the head waiter, a true gentleman, extremely kind and super friendly. He kept our 16-month-old baby entertained, which we greatly appreciated and is certainly not a given. Plus, the food was truly delicious. We'll definitely be back! 😊

I had the pleasure of dining at "Il Bastione" and the experience was absolutely positive. There were five of us, and we dined inside the restaurant, not at the tables outside. After providing us with menus, the waiters delighted us by bringing an appetizer of fried rice balls filled with crab, one for each of us. Everyone at the table loved the appetizer. For another appetizer, I opted for the "Gran Mare," a tasting of five seafood appetizers listed on the blackboard on the wall of the restaurant. It was flavorful and plentiful. For my main course, I chose the taglioni carbonara with tuna. It was a decidedly generous portion, delicious, and flavorful. A dish that is guaranteed, in every way. The wait times were just right; we didn't feel like they were long. As for the service, we were pleased. There was a misunderstanding regarding one dish (a first course) where it wasn't clear whether it contained hazelnuts, a food to which one of us is allergic, but the waiter confirmed with the kitchen that it was free and even asked if we wanted the dish remade—a thoughtful attitude we greatly appreciated. In conclusion, "Il Bastione" is a restaurant I would recommend to anyone in the area, especially considering the price. My only complaint is that the area where we were seated wasn't well ventilated, and the only cooling air came from the passing waiters serving us and the other tables. Despite this, my overall impression is absolutely positive, and I can't wait to return to try the other dishes.

A quiet place, very beautiful inside, ideal for a romantic dinner. Attentive and polite staff. Reasonable bill. We had two seafood appetizers, one hot and one cold, a first course, two second courses, and two desserts, a small beer, a water, and a quart of wine for €113.00. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous, except for the first course, although I couldn't finish dessert with the appetizer and second course. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well in a romantic and quiet place.
