Hello everyone, To me, it's beyond the stars as they excelled in everything from entrance to exit, the reception, the service, food and ambiance, I had the crunchy Margherita and the Ortolana pizzas, the tonnato faccacia and the Dryimitsu, all of the them exceeded the expectations, the dough was very delicious, i was sad to leave actually:) they do have take away box if you don't finish your pizza. I hope you have a similar pleasant time if you decide to try Dry!
Brilliant evening at Dry! The entrance with the carpaccio & the foccacia special (awarded by 50 Top Pizza) was outstanding. The pizzas and the desserts obviously too, delicious! Furthermore, the service by Carlos, Nas & Vincenzo was simply lovely, 10 out of 10! Carlos accompanied us through the whole evening with recommendations & explanations, and then got Vincenzo for us who suggested us his own drink creation which was an incredible tastful experience. Thank you, will be back guys!
Great spot. Great pizzas. Great cocktails. Great vibe. Everything was above par. We had a focaccia with Vitello tonnato, an evergreen pizza and a margharita. The Evergreen is just splendid with crispy guanciale and zucchini cream + flowers + fried. Staff were super kind. And seriously it’s amazing value for money.
Best pizza I have ever tried hands down. Me and my partner went to Dry thinking we’d find a cute dinner paired with fairly good drinks. We did find great drinks, but what surprised us was the amazing pizza. I recommend the Mediterranean and the Baccalà pizzas. You’ll never go back asking for a margherita ever again. Will revisit soon to re-experience that flavor combo, and to grab a drink or two or three with friends or for date night
Carlos and Marva made our experience outstanding from start to finish. They were extremely professional, warm, and attentive, taking the time to recommend the perfect starter and pizza for us. Their suggestions were spot on — the flavors were rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The pizza here is truly among the best in Milan, with a perfect balance of ingredients and texture that makes it unforgettable. Beyond the food, the atmosphere of the restaurant is vibrant and welcoming, with a happy energy that makes you feel instantly comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy not just a meal, but a full experience. Without a doubt, this is a must-go spot in Milan for anyone who loves great food and a lively vibe.
My wife and I went out for a wonderful evening in an authentic Italian atmosphere. The welcome was quick and good and they immediately recognized the order we made in advance. When we arrived it became clear that a reservation in advance was important, because this bar-restaurant provides a fun and enjoyable atmosphere and the demand for a table here is high and this is also the proof that the restaurant is good and in demand. It is possible to arrive without a reservation, but you may not be accepted or, if you are lucky, they may accept you after waiting. When we entered, we could choose between two separate but equally nice places inside the restaurant. One, a bar area with a young and pleasant atmosphere and if you sit at the bar you are also exposed to the preparation of the cocktails. The second, is internal and more in the relaxed atmosphere of an Italian restaurant and more relaxed and especially suitable for families. The heart of the whole menu is undoubtedly the pizza. Each pizza is more special and delicious than the other, and even if you "took a risk" and you don't like something, the excellent staff will make sure to replace it for you. The main thing is to keep the atmosphere as good as possible and that nothing spoils your enjoyment, the authentic "simple" margherita pizza ended up being the winning choice, but it's still worth trying at least a few types. Regarding the cocktails, order and let the staff also recommend you, they know their job, it's delicious, it's accurate and it will improve your experience. Beyond the culinary excellence, it is worth noting to praise the attentive and professional staff. Summary of the experience, a young and fun Italian restaurant that we returned to for the second time and each time the atmosphere, the flavors and the fun only get better. Our return visit confirmed the continued excellence. Recommended for anyone visiting the area. By the way, one of the leading restaurants in chef pizzas. Have fun
It was my first time in Milan, Me and my friend decided to have dinner here to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer even a small piece of cake as a “gift” for the occasion, but the food was incredibly delicious. We ordered two pizzas, and the shrimp pizza turned out to be the best one I’ve had in my life, no exaggeration. The sauces paired perfectly, and I really liked the cocktail too, though for that price they could have used a bit less ice in it😅
The food and the restaurant was fine. Nothing special. The cocktail Tamaloma was tasty but the presentation was plain for the price and the ingredients it had. The pizza was fine but nothing to die for. To be so high ranked in Italy I was expecting something more breathtaking maybe I went "too traditional" with a Margherita and extra ham but as they say, a Good Margherita is always a good indicator that the pizzeria is great. The Drymisu had an interesting twist to the original dessert, however I would have enjoyed that the cube was more tender/moist. The atmosphere and the service could have been better, I dont know if having dinner early influenced the experience but the service felt disconnected and not really making the experience better. The longue type music kinda fit with the place but imo made it a bit bland and generic. All in all, not a bad experience but maybe my expectations from the articles I read were too high, hence the small disappointment.
We were seated in the bar area without a reservation. If you're looking for something cozier and quieter, it's best to reserve in advance, as the bar area can get quite loud with music. Each of us ordered a different pizza, and they were all delicious. The cocktails were flawless as well.
#7 pizza in Italy top 50 in 2024. Well deserved. We ordered to start with : - the focaccia salt and rosemary which was served hot and was very tasty. - baba ganoush : surprising to see that on a pizza menu and as I’m a big fan, I had to try. The baba ganoush was very average served with bread which was strange although the bread was so yummy. - Burrata, sweet raw ham D'Osvaldo, datterini tomatoes which was nice. For pizzas we had : - Margherita with fiordilatte which was delicious, ingredients was very high quality and in the right quantity. - Piennolo Giallo : we didn’t expect a white pizza as it was not indicated it would be one.. it was nice tho and I enjoy the combination of cheese, cut tomatoes and pesto. Overall, I would recommend coming and trying the #7 pizza in Italy but I would have only pizzas.
We love pizza and try to go to all well rated restaurants when travelling. This place was rated one of the best in Italy so we had to try it. Unfortunately, it did not exceed our expectations. The focaccia was good but tasted too much like bread. It lacked spices but that was most likely due to our selection. Pizza was good 4* but not exceptional. There are better pizzas in Milan for a better price. The dough lacked flavour and the crust could have been thicker. The staff wasn’t professional or we would expect better service for the price. It was awkward to hear from the waiter that he does not have a good day because he has to be at work 😃 certainly not how you create a good brand…
The pizza was underwhelming. We’ve been to a few 50 top pizza restaurants around Europe and this one was the most disappointing. Pretty bland, poorly seasoned, the dough was less fluffy, more chewy than classic napolitan style pizzas I‘ve had before. They sat as at the table next to the staff bar/register at a narrow passage (one should really maybe think about removing that table) even though the restaurant wasn’t full and we reserved in advance. The staff made a shocked face when we asked for salt (ps I usually like my food not very salty 🫣) because the food was just that bland. The cocktails were really nice. Gin and tonic classically with tonic on the side, would prefer to have it premixed since it‘s a cocktail place. Would recommend ordering a cocktail and keeping expectations on the lower side for the pizza. The pizza is good, however would not say top 50 in Europe. The bar side of the space is pretty loud. The pizzeria side is nicer but the tables are pretty narrowly separated.
Maybe we ordered the wrong things but the dishes were one-note and unbalanced. The granny smith apples that were suppose to bring acidity and tartness to the salad were overwhelmed by the salad dressing, which should have been used more judiciously. Only once did I taste mint in the half of the Evergreen pizza I ate. It was much needed, as again the sauce much like in the salad, needed a counter flavor to really shine. Lastly, what was up with the giant ice cubes in the non-alchoholic drinks. If half the glass is ice, charge half the price. Unless of course, the ice was suppose to be the star of the mocktail.
