I've been eating at Wienerschnitzel since I was a small boy and I'm pretty much an old man now. Wienerschnitzel has consistently been excellent for as long as I've been coming to it! The first Wienerschnitzel I ever went to was in Lubbock Texas and the most recent was in Victoria Texas! Without question the very best chili cheese dog you will ever eat!

It's been 50 years give or take 2 years since I last had Der Wienerschnitzel, and I told the employee that at the window. He replied... "Well... your in for a treat!" I ordered 2 Chili Cheese Dogs and 1 Kraut Dog. I didn't eat a single dog until I got home from work 3 hours later. I tried the Kraut Dog first and enjoyed it. Then the Chili Cheese Dog. Really enjoyed them both! Gave the last one to my son, who being a picky eater loved it. He said... "Imagine what they would taste like fresh." Nodded my head in agreement. Told him... next time in Victoria... I'm loading up! Look... it's a Hot Dog Fast Food place. Not a Steak House. So if you want something different that hits the spot... give a try. Atmosphere is hard to judge. I gave it 5 stars because the young man at the window was professional and represented the company well.

Haven't had this is 30 years. But so glad I stopped. Staff, though it was late, was extremely friendly and food was hot, fresh, fast, and DELISH. Had two chili dogs and fries. So much better than memory served.

Love Wienerschnitzel! We drove 3 hours today (Lake Jackson to Victoria) for chili-cheese dogs and a Polish dog. Will be making the trip again. Added bonus: we got to take a 15oz can of the Chili Sauce and some extra chili-cheese dogs home!!! May only regret...I wanted a Winner Dog antenna topper and I forgot to get 1. Oh well, another reason to make a quick road trip!!! Customer service and food were excellent!

I would put fans up outside. They wete out of ketchup...wish they had told me prior to ordering fries. Otherwise it was good.

The chili cheese dogs here are so good. BUT I HAVE A COMPLAINT... I got the chili cheese fries, and not only did it have a different cheese than what is used on the dogs, but there was like minimal chili on it. :( Lost a star, because I expected more chili and the other better cheese on the Large $6 chili cheese fries

Great place to stop for hot dogs and corn dogs. We always stop here when driving from Houston to Corpus Christi. They always have good specials. We always come back.
