Everything is delicious here but the Churrasco steak is my favorite!
We were searching for a place that had grill food choices and that was good. Dona Paulina is yummy and the service is great! We had the Milanesa de Pollo with Tostones, Filet Steak a lot Caballo with Yuca Frita (delicious sauce), the mix grilled for one and the Filet Steak with Tostones. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!!
Doña Paulina is the restaurant you are looking for if you want to enjoy exquisite food. Every dish they serve has a special ingredient: love. Love that stems from an appreciation of past memories and the fulfillment of service as a vocation. I would like to thank their entire team for providing me with the humblest and friendliest experience I have ever had in any recreational center in the city. Special thanks to Mrs. Melisa and all the wonderful singers with whom I had the pleasure of sharing the evening. Doña Paulina’s restaurant will take you back to your childhood and remind you of the warmth of a true home. Thank you!
It's great family restaurant, great food, I loved it!
I've eaten here a couple of times, and the food is always delicious.
We've been going to Donna Paulina for years and have always had a delicious dinner and warm- friendly service! The skirt steak and Maui or snapper are our favorites and don't forget a wonderful bottle of wine which is quality & affordable.
Good services ,great food and good environment thk
I have been dining in this steakhouse for many years. While other places are changing they remain serving excellent food at fair prices. They are now adding pizza. I just had a taste of it today and it was also delicious. Cannot go wrong here.
Love Doña Paulina! As a Uruguayan living in Kendall, it’s a pleasure to be able to drive over to Bird Road to eat a Chivito. Their service is always excellent - both eating at the restaurant and picking up food to go as I usually do - they go the extra mile to make sure everything is packaged properly. It’s without a doubt the best Chivito in the south west miami Dade area. A taste of Montevideo here in miami. Also offer Uruguayan wines which are hard to find in Miami, alfajores de maicena made in house and love their Milanesas.
We had a great time, we were celebrating my Granddaughter's birthday, the tables were ready and since we walked in, we were welcome and they gave us excellent service. Great food and fair prices.
Let me tell you that the owner Melissa she is one of the kind and she provides you with the best quality meets and products to the table in a restaurant for us the customers to enjoy and consume with the most loving and healthiest way we can enjoy eating out and you can tell by just the delicious food that her restaurant makes she’s a very nice loving restaurant owner and she cares about what she provides for us the customers to consume and that’s why I say that this is one of the best Uruguayan restaurants in Miami check her out give her a great review and you won’t be disappointed
This is an older restaurant. It's been there for a long time in a small shopping center. You've probably driven by it a hundred times and never saw it. The food was really good the service was just fine. I had the chicken milanesa with yuca fries. Great place to have dinner.
I've been eating here for the last 15 years. But decided to come twice the last 2 months. If you are an Entrana (Skirt) steak lover like myself, this is the spot. It's very difficult to have a chef cook it exactly as you ask. And twice I requested medium and it was perfect. I never est masked potatoes, but I do here. And there wine selections are Real Deal good S. America. selections to go with beef.
We had the breaded steak with rice, black beans and the soft plantains. Cuban style food. It was delicious. We'd move to Miami just so we could eat this every day. We took the leftovers back to our hotel as we had a fridge and microwave and we warmed it up for lunch the next day. Tasted just as good!
Doña Paulina, I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 20 years and I’ve always been very pleased. The parrillada is delicious! The house salad comes with a side of Russian salad and it’s always so fresh—we order it every time. The provoleta is one of the best, and my children love the milanesas with fried egg 😋. A good sangria is never missing, and to top it all off, the chajá for dessert is like the cherry on top! Mari es la mejor 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Great restaurant variety of meals, sandwiches,Burguers,Pizza, meat, chicken and more try the uruguayan dessert Chaja , sponge, sweet filled with peach merengue and dulce de leche.
What a hidden Gem, nice staff little cozy place had no idea they have shows, and live music, we went Saturday night 7 pm and we where lucky to get a table because ppl reserved them for the show . Food was amazingly great la parrillada for two it’s huge , the sangria was delicious great service and so much fun. I’ll be coming back again!!!! Keep the great work
Great place to eat overall. Very nice ambiance, great service and amazingly delicious food. Highly recommend!
My family and I had a great Father’s Day at Doña Paulina. The food is great and the prices are very affordable. They have a great selection of wines for very reasonable prices.
Great experience love the food and drinks live music restaurant completly full problably u have to do a reservation on weekends nigh the food can take longer but no big deal whit the music and drinks so in general i have a great time here muy recomendado ...
Very rare for places to get better over time. Before this place was a 4.5 but now its definitely a 5. Parking could improve but the food and service is number 1.

Came here today for the first time and ordered the skirt steak. It was absolutely superb!
I love the place! The food is delicious. I absolutely recommend la parrillada 🤤
The Chivito and the Asado were absolutely delicious. The torta de chajá was the best I’ve had outside of Uruguay. The restaurant offers a great selection of wines and beers. I live in Orlando, but every time I head down south, I make sure to visit Doña Paulina.
We had a group of 12+ and we had so much fun! I ate chicken soup, and my hubby got the sweetbreads. Both were delicious! All the food that came to the table looked amazing, will definitely return. The best part was the dancing and karaoke!
Came here before Winterland with the kids. We're so happy we did. The food was amazing, we ordered baby churrasco for the kids. They loved it. I ordered a chicken fettuccine with Rosada sauce and it was phenomenal. Great amount of sauce and chicken. Also, their sangria was great!
What a great experience!! I booked a party of 15 last minute for my mom’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. The staff was so sweet to us and the food was delicious!! And they play live music in the evening which is always a great plus. 10/10 would recommend. I’m so happy to find this little hole in the wall. Will DEFINITELY be back!!

This was a terrific surprise. We stopped for a quick meal and ended up enjoying the " karaoke show". First, we did not have reservations but they easily accommodated us quickly. The food was superbly cooked. I had the entraña medium rare and my date the mushroom chicken. The meat was so tender and delicious. No need for chimichurri. The service is friendly and seem to be always running around. The house wine was nothing to write about, but they do have a very large selection to choose from. The karaoke was fun. Their were some ringers who appeared to be regulars, all in Spanish songs. Except for a guy named Ron, who came with his free country songs. All in all, it's was a great atmosphere, delicious food, and at a very reasonable price. Love it.
I liked the food and the atmosphere. They did not have ANY beers from Uruguay! 👎 and not sure about the wines? Overall, it was pleasant. I had Swai & it was prepared nicely. Would like to see less traditional Caribbean food and more Uraguayan food options.
Second time coming here and overall a great experience. The food is excellent and the prices are decent. The only reason they’re not getting 5 stars from me today is because they had only two waitresses on a Sunday shift tending to the lunch rush hour and a packed restaurant.
We found this Uruguayan restaurant in the middle of Bird Road and ordered different beef cuts (entraña, picaña, rib eye,...), sausages and their chaja. The food was ok, we would come back to taste the milanesa and empanadas. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was 90s like.
Good place to eat a delicious barbecue, not so expensive and with good service. We tried pasta with well-prepared sauce that reminded us of mom's homemade pastas.
We went there last Sunday, it was excellent. Very tasty food and staff super polite. Enjoyed every single minute we spent there.
Uruguayan restaurant in a quiet strip mall. Hidden gem worth the stop. Try the Uruguayan cut Rib Eye (Corte Uruguyao). The dulce de leche pancakes are fresh and made to order with a scoop of ice cream. The mil hojas cake and the Chaja cake are ok, but may not be as freshly made; I'd stick with the warm pancakes for dessert.

I saw this place on my way to Tropical Park and decided to stop in around 5:30PM... I was surprised it had been there for over 20 years since I frequent the Columbian (Pueblito Viejo) place next door. I was even more surprised that it is a family restaurant connected with "Don Davis" which I used to frequent at NW 12 street and 78 Ave several years ago. Don Davis also had his own Spanish cooking show too. The interior is nice, relaxing and comfortable. Decor is definitely Latin steakhouse with stacked wine bottles and a small stage for performances. We were promptly seated and the lady was very kind and knowledgeable. There were only a few other people there, but can see that this place gets busy very quickly... We order suages as appetizer (great) and two good portioned churrasco's both cooked perfectly. Chimichurri is very good as are the sides (morros and potato salad). We also order a side of fried yuca, but didn't care for the dunking sauce, but we used the chimichurri instead. For desert we were offered a Uruguayan specialty, but decided to try the Tiramisu. We choose poorly, the Tiramisu was dry and tasteless... almost like it was old! We are adding this place to our list of local restaurants to frequent and will definitely come again and try other items on the menu.

Food is of poor quality, service is good, in miami there are better restaurants to enjoy grilled meats!
The food is good but check your receipt before you pay if you are picking up. They had charged me almost $10 more for two items. The lady brought out the menu when I pointed it out and the prices on my receipt were almost 5 dollars more per item on the receipt than on the menu. She made the adjustment but if I hadn't noticed I would have been charged extra for no apparent reason.
All food was bland and under seasoned. Placed two dinner orders and only 1 came out. It was several minutes before the 2nd plate came out. Ordered both cuts of meat medium, but one came out well. Took forever to close the check and leave restaurant. Just being honest here folks.

There definitely needs to be a second person scheduled during lunchtime. One staff member alone isn’t enough to provide quality service to customers. While it seems there are regulars who may be used to the pace, not all customers will be familiar faces. New visitors—like myself—could easily have a negative experience due to long waits for essentials like bread, drinks, and the check. Efficient service during peak hours is crucial to ensuring a positive impression and encouraging repeat visits.
My family and I had not been there in two years and we had liked it however we noticed that the service and the standard is not the same anymore. First they sat us next to a dirty table. And that table stayed dirty the entire time we where there. The servers never cleaned it. That gives a bad environment and dose not make it pleasant to eat.. Second my wife and I asked for vacío steak and we notice that was not the steak brought to us. Thought the texture and meat quality. We where not happy with the service , food and the environment. We will not return nor will we recommendthis restaurantto any of our friends. I will attach a picture of the dirty table. Also you will notice there is a couple of tables dirty.
We visited today with the idea of getting good food and good service, but unfortunately was all the contrary. Not really a place with good quality of food, since the fried calamaris were over cooked and didn’t taste good, the mamey shake was horrible, didn’t taste like anything. I felt bad taking our family member there and to received a bad service and to have to eat bad food. The palomilla steak was over cooked too, and took a long time to get that plate and the waitress didn’t even apologized for the wait, we needed to ask for the update of the plate because nobody came to say something about it, not even the glasses of water that got empty were fill out again or at least to offer more water to the table. So sad because the environment of the place gives you a good vibe, but unfortunately the food was horrible and not a place to go back again. The couple next to my table that I noticed that also ordered a palomilla returned the plate because their food was also not good. I feel that I wasted my money.
Wow. No words to explain how disappointing this was after coming here for YEARS( since I was a KID! ) The ensalada Rusia was a joke, not even a full scoop for 3 FULL CHIVITOS AL PLATO. this is what we get now? Truly a joke.
1st & last time I order anything, straight to trash with the food and money. Either way, I had a beef soup for pick up. I got A COLD & OLD soup barely any substantial piece's of potato, yuca, or anything of that sort. Mostly 🤢ROTTEN corn, carrots, and merely potatoes with leaves and sticks and all, however, when I had called beforehand and asked what the soup consisted of which they said yuca and everything else (No where in my soup). The atmosphere was dark, dirty, the employees miserable and rude vibes. Seems like both the old lady and the girl behind the kitchen window were comfortable in not delivering properly both food and customer service. I work at a nearby hospital and will advise everyone not to go there for quality food. What a frustrating experience. WAISTE OF MONEY, GAS, AND MOSTLY MY LUNCH HOUR. NEVER AGAIN! I’ll stick to fresh beef soup from Fritanga Cocina de Doňa Ángela on 8387 sw 40 street, Miami Florida 33155. Sadly they had run out of their delicious soup by lunchtime. Plus always friendly service.
