Oscar Mattiazzo

One of Piedmont's historic craft breweries. I had the opportunity to tour the production area and taste several of their beers. They're mostly bottom-fermented, and all very pleasant, with no fancy additives, and above all, very easy to drink. I also tasted their excellent waffles, both sweet and savory. My favorite beer was Motor Oil.

Beba, our go-to for years for their excellent craft beer and Gofri! To come to Beba, you'll have to enter an industrial area where you'd never expect to find such a renowned establishment. Excellent beers: Molto Malto, Toro, and Motor Oil. The tomino with speck and bay leaves, lard and honey, and the delicious falafel are spectacular. But the best are the many Gofri: from the classic speck and gorgonzola or stracchino to the more elaborate and unique olive, ricotta, and sun-dried tomato paté. All while enjoying a view of the brewery! Must try!

A "paradise" for beer lovers, offering dozens of different flavors! A hidden gem, revealed only to those who know how to look (and find!), but rewarding with the atmosphere of a clandestine tavern, a gambling den where you can gamble your loot to "win" textbook gofri (savory and sweet)! Absolutely worth knowing (and loving), it's also one of (if not the...) oldest craft breweries in Piedmont...

I returned to this wonderful place after many years... But I have to say it has improved greatly!! The waffles are the highlight, excellent both savory and sweet! Really good beer! I prefer the red and dark ones... Great choice! Motor Oil is fantastic!!! All very fragrant!

This craft brewery, located just outside Villar Perosa, has been in business for over 20 years and has converted part of its production area into a pub and restaurant. The brewery itself is unique, with the production plant located behind the bar. The place is divided into three areas, if we can call them that, one of which is outdoors. Simple yet welcoming, it offers delicious dishes at reasonable prices, accompanied by their truly fabulous in-house beer. Reservations are recommended, in fact, almost mandatory. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. Open Thursday through Sunday. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by.

A must-see when we're in the area. One of the craft breweries that kick-started the Italian craft beer movement in 1996. Unlike others, they've remained more connected to their origins, maintaining a small production. The place is cute, and the menu offers dishes for all tastes, especially the stuffed waffles, both sweet and savory, which are truly delicious. Excellent beers.

Brewery attached to the brewery, with an open-view system. Numerous styles of beer are produced, served on tap, paired with savory and sweet pastries, other traditional dishes, and their own desserts. Two "Christmas beers" are also served during this time. Friendly staff. A must-see after a day in the snow 😊🍻

A one-of-a-kind venue, created from the renovation of an industrial warehouse, it's home to one of Italy's best craft breweries! Truly excellent beer and delicious dishes, including the fantastic savory and sweet waffles! Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, and top-notch beers. Reservations are always recommended. Excellent for a group meal with friends, but also suitable for families with children and those who simply want to enjoy a great beer at the bar. Bottles of raw craft beer are also available for purchase. I've been frequenting this venue for many years (at least 20, if not more), and I highly recommend it!
