Best root beer floats! My family dined outside since we had our dog with us . Staff was so kind, even brought my dog a water bowl & a pup cup. Chili cheese fries were sooooo yummy!

Great service! I was so excited to come across this restaurant in Visalia! There is nothing as good as an A&W root beer float! It took me back to my childhood when we used to get them in the frosty mugs! If you haven't tried one, I highly recommend!

March 8, 2024 Late post My mom wanted to get a Root Beer Float along with lunch. We no longer have an A&W in Hanford, so when in Visalia, we eat here at times. Love A&W's Root Beer float what a delicious treat. June 19, 2024 My Mom wanted A&W after her surgery, so I took her for a treat to lunch. We both had the French Onion Double Cheeseburger, which is a 2 stack beef patty layered with grilled onions and creamy garlicky Boursin cheese. It was surely a symphony of flavors that was so delicious in my mouth,😋 and I enjoyed every bite. We combined our combo with a cool refreshing large Strawberry Watermelon Cream Freeze 🍓 🍉 Such a perfect treat during this Summer month. 😁

Great local favorite. Great atmosphere. I like the Mooney location atmosphere better, but food is great at both. They participate with the blood center to give out free root beer floats whenever you donate a pint of blood. So we stop in at least once every 8 weeks and get root beer floats with a side of fries. The sweet and salty go together perfectly.

A tradition of great food and american selections, i usually stop for the chili cheese fries, they might not be the best in the world but definely stand apart from the competition when it comes to flavor. They did not hold back wjen it came down to proportion and the flavor always hits the spot with a hint of nostalgia on the side due to it being my child hood fav.

I feel like the food is overpriced for what you get. $8+ for a simple hotdog kids meal is a bit ridiculous for a fast food place. Total was $26 for a medium adult bacon single burger meal and a kids hot dog meal. And that's beyond ridiculous to me. The female working the drive through was an absolute dream and so sweet even after u gave her a belly laugh, I wish I had gotten her name to give her stellar reviews!

To be fair, I went there eating the fish sandwich: the new pub special . It wasn't very special though. The fish was tough and overcooked and the cole slaw was... Completely average, if a tad too sweet. The only saving grace was the fries. Also, for $9, there's no drink included , which I think is a shame. Next time I'll stick to burgers or fries.

The customer service was great, Rose C was very friendly and welcoming. However, the cheeseburger I received was the worst I've ever had. Both sides of the bun were burned black, the hamburger was burnt as well. They put a ton of spicy mustard on the burger, so much that I couldn't even taste the pickle when I ate it, it just tasted like mustard and char. I only choked part of it down because I had to eat something, and we were too far away to go back. Absolutely horrible and disgusting.
