Amazing spot. Celeste was our waiter she made our experience even better. She recognized the chipotle ranch for the pickles! The Mexican candy shots were good and their cider selection is nice. Highly recommend this spot!

Awesome spot in downtown Waco near the Dr. Pepper museum! Service was quick and genuine. Good was great with big portion sizes. It’s a huge venue with pool tables and an arcade room. My only complaint was that the temperature was quite warm indoors.

As a Baylor student and now alum, I always make it a point to visit Cricket's when I'm in town for alumni events—it's a cornerstone of my Waco experience, blending nostalgia with delicious new memories.

Peanut butter burger all the way!! Pro tip: ask for a side of honey chili sauce. The honey takes this burger TO THE NEXT LEVEL. Overall great vibes. I didn’t have time to check out the arcade or the pool tables. But I will be back for sure. If you drink beer, they have many many beers on tap. Definitely worth checking this place out if you are coming through Waco.

First time here and we've never heard of Cricket's before. Went in Cricket's because it looked huge from the front and assumed it will not be crowded. It turned out it was a good choice and we had an overall good experience. We ordered the peanut butter bacon burger with fries, waco hot chicken crispy sandwich with tots and 2 sweet teas. The sandwiches were both veey good and tasty. The buns were soft, warm, and crispy on the edges. The fries were very good - perfect crispness and it had the skins on. Yum. The crispy chicken breading was very tasty and fried just right - crunchy, well seasoned and does not taste oily. The tots were plain but the quantity makes up for the flavor. Sweet teas were quite weak. Needed more steeping, i think. The server did not come back to offer refills or waters or to check if we needed anything. We badly needed napkins. lol. Had to catch his attention to let him know we are ready for the check. I do recommend the peanut butter bacon burger, if you like peanut butter and bacon. I also liked the decor and feel of the place, very high ceiling, cozy booths, and a large bar and pretty wide variety of beers/ipas. I imagined it will be noisier and busier during dinner and weekends. But a quiet and laid back lunch with tasty food is what we experienced today.

The nachos were super large. We couldn't finish them. Then, the chicken wings I ordered tasted a bit dry. The jalapeno poppers I got separately were the best, and the Blue Moon beer was really good.

It took them 1 hr to get the order, which again turns out to be the wrong order. Cauliflower in cauliflower wings is uncooked. The wings came out room temperature, not even warm. It's was real bad. Many restaurants operate on thin margin, so I would not like to write anything negative, but the restaurant cannot survive on this bad quality food. We are group of 6 and everyone's food experience is the same. Informed the manager. Sadly bad experience after a long wait

Our table ordered a margarita, not sure what came out. Sugar water and tequila? I orders bone in wings and got boneless. Food wasn't hot, just over room temp. Wings were just meh tasting. Sever had a good attitude and did a good job thou. Overall, wouldn't eat there again

We came in around 6:30 on a Friday. It was surprisingly not very busy. The waitress was initially attentive but seemed to forget about our table shortly after we ordered, even though we had 10 people. The food was mediocre, especially for the price. It was bland and some was even burnt. We thought it was just a torching to make it look nice but it tasted like burned chicken. The chips were cold and the queso watery. It took absolutely forever to come out and we didn’t even get it all. It came in two different batches with 10 minutes in between. Two items we never even got. Staff was informed and our waitress just magically happened to appear again after not seeing her at all since the first batch of food.

Water tasted like water. That's about all there is to say. 5 pm on a Saturday, and other than the host seating us and bringing us a water, we never had a server wait on us. Definitely Crickets!!

The smell is awful will it hits you when you walk in the door! This used to be a great place to hang out, I've been here for bachelorette parties and I went for company party. They are all about serving drinks if you have a crowd. But when you walk up to the bar by yourself I was ignored twice, and I couldn't sit for much longer because the smell is overwhelming. Don't know if it's mildew or the bathroom or what the situation is in that place but it stinks. And I don't think they ever clean the bathrooms. I guess if you're a college kid and you don't care about your atmosphere it's a good place to go they have billiards and alcohol not a place to sit down and enjoy a good meal or have a family outing.

Walked in great atmosphere. However took several minutes for the hostess to even acknowledge us. She then had to find menus. The table was sticky. Was informed of our waiter and he would be by to get orders. Waiter finally came by to acknowledge us about 10 minutes later. Took drink order (beer on tap and a double shot, no mixed drinks) and a pop. Came back about 10 minutes later with pop and water said bar tender is still "working on our drinks" beer came out warm. Took order for food and that was the last time we saw our waiter till we asked for the check. Food was brought out by another waitress. Ordered the Peanut butter bacon burger and tots, friend got 10 wings and fries. All the food was room temp at best. The fries looked limp and the wings were dried out. It was like watching someone eat beef jerky. My tots were cold and greasy like they had sat, not even under a warmer. The waiter FINALLY acknowledged us when we asked for the check and asked if everything was ok. We told him no, the beer was warm and the food was cold. He said "sorry about that" and that was it. when he brought the check he stood and waited for my friend to pull out his card... was the most we saw the waiter. Won't be back. Poor food and service. Was super disappointed.

I never make reviews on places but this is terrible. The renewed menu items are terrible, all of the food came out room temp not even warm. The server was awesome! But the food was a nightmare to say the least. Got the spicy chicken and mac and cheese and 90% of the chicken was breading. What chicken was there was probably 1/6 of an actual chicken breast that was clearly hammered flat to look bigger. Paid 70$ for me and my girlfriend to eat here and left upset on how bad the food here was. We also got the French onion soups and it looked absolutely sad and tasted as bad as it looked. 10/10 do NOT recommend the food here
