My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary meal on a Tuesday night. Quiet atmosphere with a few guests already being served. No wait for a table and Joey who attended to us was really friendly! Food was lovely, warm, tasteful and we were both really pleased with our choices and what was given. They do offer mocktails when requested which is great too. Portions are a decent size, we were full after our starter and main! We chose to share our desert which was lovely too! Staff very polite and attentive. Always checking in and seeing if everything was okay. Overall a really lovely meal and ambience. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Gorgeous Italian place, service was friendly and kind. The burrata on black chilli rice balanced creamy cheese with a lovely kick from the rice, Pappardelle Beef was creamy and rich with a beautiful horseradish mascarpone on top Tirimasu was a classic hit Henry served us and was a delight Couldn’t recommend enough

The wife and I had a starter and main course. We shared calamari and king prawns. Both gorgeous. For mains, my wife had gnocchi and I had sirloin steak. She also had a pina collada, JD and coke x 2 and I had lime and soda. All perfect. The guy serving was brilliant as were all the staff. That along with the ambience, music and atmosphere meant we will definitely return. Thanks for looking after us.

Absolutely loved my evening visit to this little gem. Hidden behind what I think was once a cafe. The garden is decorated so well, I felt like I was on holiday. The music was great, the staff were attentive and helpful. Food was fantastic. Huge portions, tasty and arrived quickly. We shared a platter, so delicious and plenty for two. Then had the gardiniera pizza which was really good and I couldn't go home having not tried their Nutella pizza for pudding. Really enjoyed my cocktail too. Highly recommend and I will most certainly be back for several more visits

Lovely experience, the staff were all very friendly and patient. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the tiramasu! Definitely recommend going Very quiet atmosphere I went on a Wednesday at 6.30pm. Was a nice evening at a new place to relax after work

Service was amazing. We went for lunch and sat outside, the staff were amazing and treated my nieces to making their own pizzas which was a great way of entertaining the little ones.

We had a really lovely evening when visiting with family, and from start to finish the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed. The food was excellent, highly recommend the gnocchi, it was beautifully soft and full of flavour!! We also made the most of their two for one cocktails, the amaretto sours were spot on, perfectly balanced and very moreish! Joey made our evening very special, thank you 😀

Had a fantastic evening. Joey and the team were all super friendly and the food was soooo good! If you think you’re full after the starter and main you HAVE TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE CANNOLI! The best! Thanks for a great night xx

Food was nice. Went for the ribs as a starter and the Rigatoni for my main. The waiter was a nice guy, polite and friendly. My wife and I felt taken care of. For dessert, we went for the cheesecake. Be warned, it is huge so make sure you have space for it. Great experience and will definitely return.

The decor, ambiance and hospitality from James and the rest of the staff are phenomenal, my mother and I frequent this quant restaurant and bar, the Jazz classics from Frank Sinatra and others make you feel as if you’ve been transported back to the 50s! Thank you James for your warm welcoming smile, kind nature and nothing is too much attitude! Shuayb and Farah

We went on a Wednesday evening and had their fixed menu which is highly recommend. Very good value with a great selection of options. The pecan and salted caramel cheesecake was delicious. The service was fantastic, so attentive and friendly. This is the second successful visit we have had and look forward going again.

We went on a quiet Friday lunchtime. We didn't intend having a big meal as it was my partners birthday and we were having a big bash that evening. However we ordered the sharer with 3 Italian dips and the caponata. We were about to order something extra but the waiter kindly suggested we wait until our order came and if so wishes could order more. Well that was such good advice- when the order came we were amazed . The sharer was for 2/3 people and it was more than enough. The dips were wonderful and caponata fantastic. Looking at the main menu there is a lot to choose from. We so enjoyed that lunch and look forward to going again for a full meal.

What an experience! The food, the service, one of the best brunches in the area. Joey the manager was attentive, professional and ensured we had the best time. If you can do the Saturday brunch, they have a singer and unlimited drinks for 2 hours: We will be back!

I had such a lovely time here today! First visit. We got so lucky with the weather and had the perfect table outside in the shade. It felt like being on holiday. Lovely food, lovely company, the service was incredibly friendly, we felt very welcome. Happy memories made. Thank you Spaghetti Tree.

Great place to eat. I live close by and when there last Saturday on a whim. We hadn’t booked, but the manager got us a table straight away. The food and service were great. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Live music was a nice touch. I had the calamari to start and the veal escalope for main. My partner had the N duja gnocchi (I tried it, its very good) The warm cookie desert is to die for. Will be back there soon.

What a lovely place! I was so surprised when I walked in. The place is absolutely stunning! On top of that, the host Dana was so accommodating to my husbands requests and the food was lush! Who would have thought to mix horseradish with mascarpone. So nice! I’ll definitely be back! 😊

First Halal Italian restaurant I've found in the area, aunday roast is delicious. The ambience sets a relaxed environment perfect for having a nice chat. James was very kind and accomadating, nothing is too much of an ask for him with his welcoming smile. This is our new favourite spot. Thanks again James, conpliments to the chef also, the chicken was lovely! Farah and Shuayb x

Had the most amazing experience at the Spaghetti Tree Warlingham! The staff were exceptionally and so attentive! The food was absolutely delicious too! My Babyshower was hosted here and it was honestly such a wonderful experience. The management team even reached out to make sure we were all happy. Would highly recommend the Spaghetti Tree!

A very good lunch here today. The decor and gentle background music was spot on. The menu (both food and drink) had plenty of choice and made it difficult to decide what to have. The prices are very reasonable. The staff were very attentive and keen to fulfill our expectations. Look forward to my next visit (to try the dishes I didn't choose today).

I’d happily give this restaurant a 10/10! The service was warm and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and the team truly went above and beyond to make the experience special. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and outstanding customer care.

Starters were surprisingly good especially the Pizza Con Mozzarella although prawns lacked flavour. Main courses were amazing but they were stingy with the Parmesan cheese despite saying they love Parmesan here, drinks was nice cocktails strong. Thank you for having us.

I found the place pleasant and clean. Exceptional customer service and the food was terrific! I asked what was the most popular entree and it was pasta with prawns. I’m not big on prawns and was directed to a Rigatoni Salsiccia, which was great! Their local draft beer- Spaghetti Tree Birra was quite nice as well! I shall return!

My sister and I visited the restaurant last night. It was clean, there was a nice atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We ordered a shared bread to start and a main meal each with a bottle of wine. My sister’s meal was described as a ‘supreme breast of chicken’ but she was served what we think was a thigh on the bone. We didn’t highlight this to the waiter as she still enjoyed the food but she was a little disappointed. (This is the only reason why I didn’t rate 5 stars on this review) I had salmon which was cooked to perfection with delicious potatoes and vegetables. We both ate all of our food and were satisfied with the quality and service. Overall we had a really nice evening and would definitely visit again.

Lovely place with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. It was super quiet during lunch time, service is great. I just found a piece of hard shell in my risotto so that was a bit awkward, apart from that all good.

Great food, great atmosphere. Only downside felt really pressured to order and eat. While half way through our food we got told you've got 15 mins left. When we got shown to our table we were not informed of a time limit. Despite this friendly staff and attentive with umbrella in the rain. Reasonable priced, great cocktails and good selection.

Visited on 6th Dec 2025. The live music was fantastic but just a little loud (we had to shout to speak with each other on the table). The food was ok. Nothing to rave about. However, I will be visiting again as Christmas can be a busy time to accommodate everyone. Starter - the Crispy Coconut Prawns x 3 was fresh to the point that I had to add salt. However, the texture with the crispy coconut coating was a nice touch and cooked well. The beetroot dressing was also nice and I could have done with more. Oversall, the dish lacked seasoning and I could have done with an extra prawn for the price. Main - Lobster and Crap Ravioli - it was good. However I had to ask and wait ages for the parmesan cheese. By the time it came, I was 1/2 way through my dish - and I am a slow eater. Dessert - Chocolate Souffle was delicious

Lovely venue, bread starter was amazing, really good, waiting served fairly good, Chicken Milanese was dry but better when added green beans

First meal here & the starter garlic bread & mozzarella was lovely. It was a shame the gluten free pizza was not cooked properly so had to send it back. Its a different menu for the garden & quite minimal. The inside menu has more choice & seemed a better atmosphere. Was a bit disappointed but will yry sitting inside next time.

The staff are good and the atmosphere is nice. The first time we went the food was good and everything was freshly cooked. So, we wanted to go back again however; my lasagne wasn’t as good as the first time - it was hardish, a little stale you and can tell it was a day or few old. So unfortunately it’s taken the shine off a little and now I probably wouldn’t go back.

L
Lily Lennard

The atmosphere, setting & live singer was lovely the restaurant looked really modern & the service was okay. It took them about 5 attempts to bring us some bread when asked and a boy kept trying to bring us over sides that clearly wasn’t ours then he tried giving our mains to the couple next to us who you could clearly see had paid the bill already, think he must’ve been new however the young girl that served us was sweet. The food was AWFUL the crushed olives that came with the bread was disgusting and my friends main looked like something they’d serve you for lunch in primary school. Also found it strange they didn’t devein my prawns, I know it’s not mandatory but when your paying like £18 for a prawn linguine l’d expect them too like every other Italian I’ve been too. Both our meals was flavourless and we told who I think was manager on shift she did apologise and offer to re cook the meals for us but it didn’t really sound like she cared and that they are all about the money there as she didn’t offer to take anything off the bill nor did she say she would pass the feedback back do the chefs. I’d recommend waiting until summer for their outdoors to open the food menu there is way nicer and service was much better back then too!

Once you had true Italian food you know it's not it. Pasta sauce tasted like dolmio not the fresh tomatoes sauce that it should be. Meatballs tasted like cheap meat. Couldn't finish my dish. Pizza was ok, 6/10, cheese was a bit weird. Such a beautiful place with a lot of potential, but needs to improve the food.

Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening, and waited 50 minutes for our food. When our food turned up, I didn’t really enjoy it as the carbonara was basically egg yorks and orange. I felt bad complaining on the evening so didn’t say anything as I didn’t want to cause an issue as I was staving and didn’t want to wait for another dish. On the other hand the cheesecake for dessert was lovely.

30% of our table consisted of professional chefs, one of which works at a Michelin star restaurant. Who’s professional opinion, a number of the dishes didn’t taste freshly cooked and were not heated thoroughly to the require safe standards. We thoroughly enjoyed our starters and thought we were in for a good meal. For our mains, we all had a variety of dishes including pizzas, pastas, salads and fish dishes in which none of us were happy. One of our group ordered the mussels and was not given additional crockery to dispose of the shells.

I was so excited to have the authentic Italian carbonara here, having yet to find somewhere that used guanciale and made a true Italian carbonara. When served, I found it to be far from my understanding of an authentic carbonara. When dining we were not asking how the food was and I had to flag up to the waitress that the meal was disappointing. I was told that the chef would be informed and I was then charged for the meal. Upon discussing this further, I was told that “I must have been expecting an English carbonara”, which I was not. Also found the bread to be incredibly doughy on the starters menu. Staff seemed somewhat aggrieved to be serving us. However we did keep the £40+ optional service charge on the bill and added additional because we had a larger table of guests. Unfortunately, I won’t be back and left the birthday meal feeling rather rubbish. I was told that the nduja pasta was redeeming, so perhaps go for that instead. Otherwise we were brought the wrong meal at one point and charged for a few too many starters. We then brought this to the attention of the waitress and this was eventually taken off of the bill, which we were grateful for. 09/12 - To respond to the restaurant's comments: Regarding our table booking - I can admit that I did not know that the organiser didn't update the restaurant in good time. I picked my menu options the week before and then relayed this to the organiser. I can appreciate that will little head's up, this would be tricky to accommodate. I do not dispute that I ordered the traditional carbonara - indeed, that was what I was so looking forward to. I was not asked how the meal was, but people at the order end of the table were. As you can see from the image, the meal was not consumed, as your response might suggest. The full plate was handed back to the waitress and the waitress did not bat an eyelid, which caused me then to politely point out that the meal was poor. I have never known that dish to come swimming in liquid, and with no flavour. Perhaps it would have is this was the "Inglese" carbonara. I am not so sure how this counts as authentic Italian food. I do stress that at no point was I interested in the "Inglese" carbonara and so, why I would have expected that, I am not sure. Perhaps if we were asked "what was wrong with it" we would have had a productive conversation that would have allowed for me not to go hungry. Starters - I understand that the organiser mentioned " a couple of breads for the table" - I questioned the organiser and he expected two, which is usually what "a couple" means. However, I will concede that that may be considered quite a vague request. I am disappointed that this was considered a 'last-minute booking' when I personally had myself and my guests pre-order a week or so in advance. Again, this is likely as you have suggested, miscommunication between the organiser and the restaurant. I do think, though, that if that is how the organiser and the owner usually converse, perhaps it might have been an idea to have been told to send the menu choices over to the restaurant themselves.

Carbonara dry as anything and tasted of absolutely nothing. This was a delivery. Side salad which was £6 was basically a garnish.

Overpriced...not good food. The starter was the better meal and that was just bread. The veggie main was a warmed up frozen tart. The rest was bits of a roast dinner. The oversized Yorkshire pudding was cold (replaced with a just warmed up one). It is junk food and not an Italian food experience at all. They did not even offer us a chance to look at the Christmas menu (I had said we'd be happy to look at both when booking). The chicken was dry and this was told to one member of staff. Nothing done by that member of staff. They asked if everything was all right. No-one replied because everything foodwise was not alright. Why give feedback to staff who do nothing about the dried chicken comment. I regretted booking here as it was for my birthday. I shall not return. Five different members of staff served us but all stopped serving us when it came to asking for dessert. I had to ask for the menu and one look at that made us ask for the bill. Very happy to get out of there. Avoid this place unless you want an overpriced, cheap, heat everything up type of non rememberable food. Plus, come home and my mother was sick.

Credit where credit is due, the food and drinks were decent. However the lady that served us wasn't particularly polite. After about 10 minutes of the main being served, she came round and asked us if we were finished even though our plates were clearly not empty - around half a pizza on mine and a dish almost full of mac and cheese for my companion. It felt like we were being rushed because they needed the table for someone else. In the end I ordered a dessert to take away as I didn't feel welcome to stay to eat. When it came time to pay, she took the payment by contactless then turned around and disappeared hastily without saying a word. Not even a thank you or anything. The takeaway dessert was the West Bake Cookies, I looked in the bag and there was a pot of what I assumed to be the white chocolate sauce it's served with. However, it later turned out this was a pot of what smelled like garlic mayo. Definitely wasn't something to be served with the cookies. The ambience and decorations were really nice and the other staff that served us were very professional, at first we were talking about inviting people to dine at later dates, but not with the service we received.

First time visiting last night and won’t be going back! 13 of us stuffed around a table which wasn’t designed for 13 people, no room to eat or anywhere to put our coats and bags. Cheese balls for starters- no cheese whatsoever. Flat iron steak for main- the hardest, most chewiest steak I’ve ever had! When complained- I was told I should have complained sooner, but hard when no one came to our table and getting out to find someone was a military operation. So hot in there as well and so loud. Drinks ridiculous prices- £13.50 for a aperol spitiz!

K

So disappointed to leave this! If you look back at my contributions this is the 1st 1 star I’ve ever gave. The food and restaurant itself was lovely and me and my husband were so excited to find it after recently moving to Warlingham! However the waitress (young female with dark hair) was so incredibly rude to us and we have absolutely no idea why! We were nothing but pleasant as we always are and didn’t raise any complaints but she really didn’t treat us well at all and made both of us really upset. Unfortunately we won’t be returning

Went out for dinner on Saturday and me and my friend have had the worst food poisoning I AM 6 MONTHS PREGNANT. The restaurant was so hot to the point we was sweating. We asked for the aircon to be turned on 4 times. Eventually it came on the last 30 mins of our meal. The singer only stayed near the bar didn’t come down to the other part of the restaurant we was sitting in so atmosphere was a little dead. Overall we will definitely not be returning as this is the worst food poisoning I have ever had. DONT EAT THE PRAWNS. UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE IN BED FOR THE NEXT 2 DAYS.
