Best dining experience I've ever had at a Whataburger in my life I am at 53 years old and have been eating Whataburger as long as I can remember. All the employees were courteous well dressed well-groomed had their shirts tucked in exceedingly professional and polite. This is the best Whataburger I have ever been to. Kudos to the management.
This store is run really well, a tribute to the manager. All stores, restaurants, gas stations, or other establishments are only a good as the manager.
I come here pretty often and have never had a bad experience. Every single time I visit, whether alone or with family, it’s nothing but friendliness and attention to detail. The entire staff is attentive and kind, always asking if I need anything. On the rare occasion they make a mistake, they do their best to correct it. Highly recommend!
First time to eat this location. It was lunchtime. It was good. Staff was prompt and friendly. I eat at Whataburgers in areas I'm working each day.
Ordering in the app is the best way to go. No waiting for your food and it’s hot and fresh when you arrive. Plus you earn points for free food. From time to time coupons for other free stuff are given. Love their burgers, onion rings and shakes.

This is the best Whataburger I've eaten at in a very long time. The burger was actually not dry like usual with Whataburger these days. I would give 5 stars but the quality of the food as well as quantity has diminished greatly over the past 5 or so years.
Always a good experience at this Whataburger location. My orders are "special" and they always get them right. The cashier will even go back to the kitchen to make sure they see the notes on the order. Drive thru and app orders are also fast and accurate.
Had some issues with our order and the staff went above and beyond to fix it and were very kind despite having several new employees. I will say that if whataburger is going to have their employees taking orders out in the weather they need to provide “hot hands” or something to keep these kids warm.
It's now 2:25 am and I have just left this Whataburger. Great staff with top tier service for this time of day. But I won't give many more details, because I need to cut to the chase so you can have a 5 star experience. If you're reading this in December, you have till the end of the month before this months flavor of chili cheese burger is off the menu. So please make haste, order this burger AND have it with the honey butter sauce. I know, I know, it sounds weird but you need to have faith in me and my review, that is the winning play. Just do it and ignore your instincts, it's the only way our species has advanced, it's when we ignore our instincts for the chance of something more. Oh and the fries were pretty good with the spicy ketchup.
I've gone to this Whataburger off and on for the last three years, and sure, some times are better than others, and mistakes get made, but for the most part the food and service are consistent. Most employees are friendly and for food that's made when you order it - the wait is fair. Standard for the Whataburger business model. My review concerns an employee. "Big Country" Brandon is a customer service gem. I ended up there at 2am after a harrowing day and he was cheerful, full of energy, friendly, personal, competent, and efficient. I encountered him again a few nights later; same level of service. I left with correct, freshly cooked food, feeling like I had a genuine personal experience with someone who cared about the quality of their work and made me feel welcome after one of the toughest days of my life - and he didn't know that, or treat me differently than I heard him treat anyone else. I also watched him follow business and food-safety procedures perfectly. To me, he represents perfectly the Whataburger idea of "hometown". Ft. Worth is big - Brandon made it feel small and personal. Thank you Brandon, for making our night brighter.

The young guy at the drive-thru window the one with the tattoos and glasses was honestly the nicest and most polite drive-thru employee I’ve ever come across. It really stood out especially since most of the time, you’re met with someone who clearly doesn’t want to be there or someone just with an ugly attitude.
We walked in here ordered onion rings and fries I was here with cousin we ordered it 2:16 am making this at 2:51 I was getting a bit irritated that we haven’t gotten our fries but everyone else were getting there orders which was typically bigger we reminded the manager the 3rd time and he apologized admitted that he honestly forgot and said we are making fresh fry’s so there not stale even offer us something on the house I would highly recommend this location and if are getting irritated just go up with the cashier and communicate ur struggle not hostile because they will work with u and understand
So I was leaving work. I was tired. I was a little crabby. They did not have change for 100 which is understandable it’s 5 o’clock 4 o’clock in the morning I went to go make change which was not a big deal. My order got messed up a little bit. I was a little crabby, but Brandon was very polite respectful, and he definitely handled me very well Very accommodating. We need more Brandon‘s in this world Brandon. He did an amazing job. You deserve a raise kid. Whataburger, he did a good job hiring that guy.!!
iI stopped by your location for a late‑night meal, and everything was excellent. The food was delicious, and the customer service was outstanding. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in, and I really appreciated the team checking on me at the table to make sure my special request was prepared just right. Everything came out perfect. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience great.
We use this Whataburger location for staff catering multiple times a year. The Watauga location is always great to work with and communicates timely. Presentation is always nice, food is great, and they help you load everything into your car. They can even deliver!!! A couple weeks ago I picked up a breakfast order for 20 teachers and I left behind the hash browns. I didn't realize I had until I reached the campus, without calling them while I was setting up, they pulled up and delivered the hashbrowns on their own after realizing I had left them. They truly go above and beyond. Grateful to have a local partner who supports education and goes the extra mile.
They were jam packed inside and still were able to offer great drive thru service. The young man that took my order was very friendly and my food was hot, fresh and delicious. Go get you a Whataburger on Denton Hwy in Watagua!
My family and I stopped by Whataburger on 12/13/2025, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a while. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and my order came out quickly. We love visiting Whataburger whenever we’re in town. During this visit, we even had the chance to meet the store owner, Mina, who was very helpful and welcoming

The current manager here is such a sweet and nice guy. We witnessed him getting berated by a manchild on 23/11/25 and the manager kept a calm tone the entire doing everything he can to make up for a small mistake, easily fixed mistake.
Cashier named oo was so nice and pleasant. Just moved to the area and this will be my Whataburger. Food was great and fresh.

Great burger as always. Last two visits I asked for regular ketchup. First time I got 0 ketchup. Second time I got spicy ketchup. Won't stop me from going. Look in bag before leaving 😁

Went there on Easter for after church breakfast. The staff is typically nice. I find they tend to overcook the scrambled eggs for my taste but the picante helps with that. The coffee recently changed and I'm still deciding which I like better. The new isn't bad, just not the flavor I've grown accustomed to and enjoyed.

I’ve always enjoyed going to this Whataburger better than all the others because the manager’s here pitching and to help staff members my only issue is one or two of the young teenagers boys who don’t know the meaning of customer service. We've been coming here for decades. The service is always good but my advice to you is that if there are more than 3 cars waiting for food, you'll be in that drive through for 20 minutes. Order on the app and pick up inside and you will be in and out here in this location. Biggest complaint: their jalapeno cheddar biscuits are always hard as a rock. Every time I get one, it has been awful which is terrible because, if done well, it is the best breakfast item on their menu. Honey butter chicken biscuit is a close second.
I would like to say I love Whataburger and this location is very close to my house but I always have issues with them either it’s forgetting the napkins or forgetting to put fries in the bags. Every single trip is something I have reached out to customer service and every single time I get no response.
My burger was fine. Ordered 2 cheapest simplest kids burgers for my little girls and she seemed baffled that I would ever order just a burger without a kid's meal. Took a minute for her to find the button. 15 minutes later we had our meal. Marginally warm fries and the order was right.

I bought lunch for my buddy and me today. The customer service at the register was okay but they brought out somebody else's order with our order today. I didn't realize it at the time but my friend was looking at the receipt when an employee walked up and took back the burger and fries that were actually somebody else's order. I don't know if they took that food over to whoever ordered it? Surely not? But they didn't leave it with us either and probably threw it away I'm guessing. I had requested, and let them know I'd be happy to wait, that I get french fries that were burning hot right out of the grease. But as they were brought to the table, they were just the standard warm french fries. I didn't say anything and I just ate them. My burger was kind of the same way. It tasted a little bit different. It wasn't bad but it didn't taste exactly like Whataburger cheeseburgers normally taste. And honestly, it wasn't very good either. It still tasted okay but not good. It just wasn't very hot and it felt like it might have been sitting for a little bit before they brought it out. I'm not really sure if that's what happened or not? I like Whataburger a lot but today the lack of giving me what I wanted and asked for, along with a few other things like the taste and lukewarm condition of the food, made me not enjoy the meal today. It seems near impossible to get what you order anymore but usually Whataburger is pretty good about getting things right at least over where I live. I'm just giving Whataburger an average rating today because they did not do what I asked and the food was not as good as it usually would be. When you pay $16-$18 for a small meal for two people, you really hope that they do give you what you asked for. And that didn't happen today!
Favor Isn’t Doing Them Any I'm a repeat customer and a fan of Whataburger when it’s made right, which, to this location’s credit, it usually is. Whether I’m dining in or hitting the drive-thru, the food is hot and exactly what I expect. Service on-site is smooth, no weird waits or sloppy orders to speak of. But—and it’s a big one—do not order delivery from this location. I’ve made the mistake more times than I care to admit, more than could ever be healthy or logical, and it’s consistently a disaster. Orders arrive cold, significantly late (think an hour or more), or not at all. Whataburger uses Favor for their delivery, and the two systems do not play well together. If something goes wrong (and it probably will), you're out of luck, neither app gives you a proper support path or refund option. Call Favor? not their problem. Call Whataburger? Not their problem either. To their credit, the manager here is great. After one absurd delay, they even offered to deliver my food themselves. I declined and picked it up, but the offer said a lot. The rest of the staff? Let’s just say they meet the fast-food baseline. I’ll still eat here. But my days of ordering from home? Long gone. TLDR: Normal if you drive to the store. But ordering delivery is gambling.

I come here allot because the other ones near me suck and this location is on my way to work. I have not had a problem with this one till this morning. 1)Misunderstanding of my order so my card had to be charged and cancelled then charged again. 2)I don’t mind waiting for fresh fries but I’ve worked for Whataburger and I can tell they did not clean the oil last night. The fries were hard and dry and seemed like they had allot more salty than normal. 3) Forgot my fork for my biscuit and gravy. This used to be a great location. Things seem to have changed after being purchased by an outside company. Orders are always wrong, food doesn't taste the same. We have stopped going altogether.

Edit: Sunday (915 am) Ordered a taquito meal (comes with hashbrowns) for dine in. Waited 6 minutes past the promised time. They usually bring the food out to you. Asked what was going on, the food was sitting in the Togo section of food orders. Taquito was room temperature. They didn’t even include the hashbrowns and only gave 1 picante sauce when the receipt says 3. Changing my 5 star review to 2. Pet peeve of mine is missed orders. If this were a to go order, sad. Walked in about 11:38 am before the lunch rush. GUYS! No crickets. You know how every whataburger has crickets?? This one was clean! I was greeted friendly and ordered on the app to dine in. Food came out fast and hot! I’m not sure why this place got review bombed; they did an excellent job cooking and dealing with the lunch rush. Around 1145, a rush of 10 people came in and the single cashier handled it expeditiously while greeting each person that walked in. To the people complaining about time, it’s whataburger and they cook your food as it’s ordered. It’s not McDonald’s.

I would say to avoid this place unless you’re going to gut a child if you don’t get a burger. I get it, I need my fast food too. If you’re going before, like, 4pm, this will be an entirely different experience for you. Now, if you’re there when the night crew comes in, good luck. I’ve waited up to 45 minutes in the drive through, had not fully cooked food, wrong food, and every other issue you can think of. What’s the point of somewhere being 24 hours if it clearly doesn’t work.
Foods generally pretty solid at all hours, but if there’s more than 5 people in line don’t bother unless you want the wrong persons order or take forever. Usually both.
Terrible location with incompetent management and staff. I love Whataburger's food. Their burgers are always good. This review isn't about the food. It's about the incompetence of the staff at the Whataburger on 377 between Basswood and North Tarrant. Four of the last 8 times I've gone there, they screwed up my order. I use the online app to make sure the order won't be screwed up. If you use this particular store, make sure you check your orders before you leave the property. Odds are pretty good that it'll be messed up. I won't use this location again.

Went there today to get a quick bite to eat using the drive-thru. Everyone there must be new because they had no idea what is supposed to be on their menu. After waiting in line in the drive-thru I set at the window for about 10 minutes because they were just putting in the order. Then I was asked to pull around to the front where I waited another 10 minutes for my one burger and fries. They gave me my drink at the window, but they did not include a straw. And they did not include a straw in the bag whenever I left. No ketchup for the fries either. I don't think I'll be coming back to that Whataburger anytime soon.

I went to the 377 Watauga Whataburger Friday evening. There was about 50 school age teens hanging out. I was at the counter waiting my turn to order. A student came up behind me and shoved me off my feet. He started laughing and said “my bad”. I reached the counter and asked for the manager on duty. Jesus came to the counter I told him what happened and he just stared at me. I started to leave, the kid ran into me and his friends started laughing . I have had 6 major back surgery due to a horrible accident. So I called back the store to get information on the store manager. I was speaking with Jesus I asked him why there was so many students running around inside. He said “they have a right to be there”. I took that as I have no right to be there! I would have spent about $60 for the 8 people at my home. I will make sure my community will be informed how I was treated. Horrible Service!!!!
They have become very basic these days! I want my mushroom Swiss back but the Yankee company that bought them has it turning to trash now. In and out is definitely far superior now, and that saddens me.
Literally last time I was in here I sent in another review not equally as bad but in fact much worse. However this one is pretty rough also. The service clearly hasn't improved considering the cashier walked back in from the back of the house eating something to assist a customer. Idk gross. Eating around where the customers food is being made is not a good look.

Not a good experience. Didn't make my salad correctly, it was missing some of the main ingredients. Nothing like a cranberry apple salad with no cranberries. They didn't put the salad dressing in the bag either so I had to ask for that. Thank God I noticed it before I left or I would be eating a dry, sad, incomplete salad with my fingers because they didn't include any utensils either. Also they could not provide a receipt, so I sure hope I was charged correctly or I will be even more upset. Guess I won't be going back to this location, it is a mess.

I usually have a good experience here but this morning it was awful. First, I had to wait an extensive amount of time for my food while others getting through quickly. Second, while waiting I observed the cashier dropping peoples orders on the ground, works pulling cups from the cup machine which all fell to the ground, and overall running around as if no one knew what they were doing. I get my food and the hash browns are god awful (super oily and way overcooked). Finally, they FORGET the extra biscuit I ordered and reminded of them/confirmed TWICE. Trash experience.

If i could give 0 stars i would. went in today 9/10/23 and ordered a whatachicken patty, and 6 slices of bacon at 5:24pm. Asked for it to be made fresh which I didnt mind the wait. I was given my food about 5 minutes later and was only given 2 slices of bacon so I went back to the front counter to get it and that alone took over 5 minutes because i was continuously ignored at the front counter by the workers and the manager on duty. my fiance then noticed i received a spicy chicken so again he went back to tell them and again was ignored. I just wanted it made right and again told them i didnt mind the wait. 15 minutes go by and thats when we finally received my whatachicken from the manager at 5:56pm with no apology what so ever. will not be returning.
José the night manager is unprofessional, he’s not coherent for his position, if you have any issue at this establishment it’s because he can’t communicate properly with his staff when there is an issue. He will tell you one thing but won’t be able to remember the next day. Put a real adult in that grey shirt.
Honestly I’m fed up which is usually why people write reviews lol. My boyfriend came in there at about 10:30 p.m to get a singular meal with a gift card he got for Christmas. He waited a whole hour ( not an overstatement) for his food to be made and eventually just ended up leaving and wasting his gift card money on food that he never got. At 10:30 on a Monday night you would thing that they wouldn’t be that busy and in no way ever should it even take close to that time. I’ve worked in the food service industry and I just have to say you need better employees because this is getting absolutely ridiculous and I’m the last person you’d see writing a nasty review. DO. BETTER.
I ordered a chocolate shake. I asked for a extra chocolate. Just one pump. They guy was so rude. He said we can't do that because the shakes are pre mix. Which is a lie. Because I use to work for whataburger. I told him that's not true. At this point he was loud. I just drove away. I called asked for the corporate number. He told me 18006 burger . Which is a lie. Because google gave a San antonio number. I will be calling corporate in the morning.
Ordered a side of chicken strips and two burgers total for pickup order, estimated 5-8 minutes. Took more like 15-20 which isn't a problem except the food came out cold and the chicken strips were more like nuggets.. total waste of money, find a better Whataburger

I want to write a review and it’s not towards Whataburger themselves more about who they use for their delivery service. Twice now I have used their app for delivery and both times it’s been unsuccessful. Whataburger themselves is great, however, they might want to get away from favor. Other delivery services seem to hire more reliable drivers.
Legit mess up ever order we place, tried multiple times. Whataburger has gone down hill since they went to chicago
I ask to grill my onios and jalepenos they didn't I visit that place twice something happened no more would I go back.
I usually love Whataburger. However, I was very disappointed with this location. I think I am going to avoid it for a good while. Whoever was working the drive through tonight made us feel very rushed, even though there was no one else behind us at the time and only one other car at the window. And no, we were not taking a long time and had a very simple order. He still didn't take the order right. When we pulled up at the window we heard him taking another order, he sounded agitated and rude to those customers as well. The burger itself had wet soggy buns drenched with mustard and cold meat. They forgot to add ketchup like I had requested and had 3 tomatoes even though I asked for no tomatoes. Just wasted my money.
The night manger Daniel is very rude!!! I ordered food from here through the Uber app and when I received the food it was cold just hard old etc. So I called and spoke with someone that morning. She was very nice she said just to keep my receipt and they would remake my order so I did. Like a week later my husband and I decided we go pick up order with receipt in hand I decided to call before we came in because I have never did remake order so I call speak to Daniel let him know what was going on he was very rude to me said he wasn't going to remake my order then hung up in my my face. I couldn't believe a MANGER would act like that. He end up calling me back saying that he spoke with the head manager she said everything was fine for us to come on in. When we get there we order our food pull up to window with our receipt he says he can't use it he needs the paper receipt I was trying to explain that I just have it on my phone because it was a online order he slams the window in my face but thanks to the cashier Brandon he came sorted everything out with no problem I will never return to this location never in my life .. Thanks Brandon for going above and t Rationalizing & Justifying your pessimistic and rude Manager. You deserve a promotion and thanks again. Tell Daniel he needs to keep some Super Duty Manponds in his office for those harsh moments of Cramping
I ate at Whataburger on Denton hwy today and I waited at least 10 minutes for my order. I was excited because I assumed they were cooking my nice fresh burger with cheese. The people that just walked in after my 10min were served before me! I was served after them with a cold bun, cold meat and cold cheese pressed on the cold meat. Eat there if you love cold burgers.
Store #1119. Lunch yesterday. Dine-in. Waited 20mins (verified) for customized order that I get every time I visit (frequently). 1st attempt, missing extra patty and Cold Fries (which should been Hot when asked for No Seasoning). Gave back no bun order container. They threw away. Made 2nd attempt with EXACT SAME ISSUE of no extra meat. Asked for Manager. Showed the Issue. Asked for extra patty. Took 2nd attempt to consume with COLD Fries. Manager asked if want anything for inconvenience. I say correct my order and HOT Food. To my surprise Manager delivers me 3rd attempt of No Bun order with extra patty and STEAMING HOT. Kitchen staff issues for certain at Store #1119. Manager was nice. Customer common sense....customize No Seasoning on Patty and Fries equate to STEAMING HOT food, but NOPE. Shout out to Becca as she ONLY REASON I keep coming back. She has my order ready when I get to Register to pay. GREAT SERVICE by Becca!!!
I order door dash from here often. There is no way to order additional dipping sauces. They refuse to give my dasher a single ranch without paying, so forget trying to enjoy the sauces you love. When you spend $37 not including tip for 2 burger meals and 3 chicken strips you’d think a ranch request would be okay. I didn’t pay delivery fees either. If you’re going to charge this much change your policy on your sauces!
I go to this location frequently. The quality of service is going downhill. It seems like there is always new people working there. They need to improve training. It is ridiculous for my order to be sitting on the counter for over 5 minutes after it is complete and bagged up, 5 people have looked at it, but none of them will hand it over to the customer because that is not a part of their job. When I finally get my food (which is getting cold) the kid who works counter who was playing grabass with a female worker tells me he is doing his best when I ask why it is taking so long. Hire better employees or just shut it down.
Don't go here unless you want roaches cooked in with your fries. Absolutely disgusting and we are never going back to this location
This whataburger is the worst I've been to. On multiple occasions the food is messed up or forgotten. The staff and management doesn't care and even laughed at my husband tonight when he made it home and had to go back because they gave us drinks and fries with no other food. They run constantly behind and I get being under staffed, but most places are nowadays but this place is a joke. I would rather drive a little bit further to get to a whataburger that can actually get my food correct and not burnt with old tasting fries and no ketchup
Food was pretty okay, not the hottest but not cold. Took forever even though there was like 3 of us in the dining room. It was really quiet in there and everyone had a paranoid/angry look on their face, and we weren’t greeted when we came in.
So normally whenever I go here it's usually good. No issues. But I just got a patty melt meal and ALL of my fries were burnt. Like usually there's a couple but this was literally every single one. That's just pure laziness on the staff's behalf and I can't take it back cause I'm on my lunch right now from work and have to get back. I've never had a whole medium fry that was completely burnt tho.
Please don't stuff or place the ketchup containers into the french fries. I understand this is a way to minimize the amount of french fries given to customers, but it is a problem. If a customers pays for a large portion, please give the customer the amount of french fries for which he or she paid. In terms of hygiene, it is unsanitary to place the ketchup containers into the french fries. The amount of hands and surfaces that have the ketchup containers will surely leave them contaminated and unfit for direct contact with cooked food. This has happened for a long time without fail. If I order two large french fries, both will have ketchup containers placed inside. This is intentional, deceptive, and unsanitary.
Went through the drive thru tonight and the girl working the window literally just said the total, nothing else, with a whole bunch of attitude and then opens the window when my food is ready and hands it to me with attitude, i literally did nothing LMAO. I ordered and waited and she was acting like I was causing a problem. Food is made sloppy too. Worse experience I’ve had out of all whataburger locations.
Even though its the 75 yr anniversary, and your selling 75 cent burgers, no where in your ad or disclaimer does it say only 1 burger per rewards member, very misleading.
Calm atmosphere inside on night shift, but my order was birthed in the back corner of the freezer. Like they gave my burger the “landlord special” or something. Wish I could show the pic. Bro brought the bag to my table between two fingers like it was radioactive 15 minutes after ordering. Am I cooked?
The cashier messed up my order on the terminal yet repeating back to me what I asked for. Staff seemed angry and everyone felt tense. I won't come back again. I sent the food back that was messed up and it was begrudgingly fixed.
Consistently wrong orders. I haven’t been yet where the order was right. For the cost I’d say go to McDonlads and get a $1 cheese burger. Same quality and at least you’re only paying a dollar.
I got a chicken strip kids meal. Went through the drive thru. One car in front of me. I got to the window the young men was very nice smile and greeted me. After I paid he asked if I could pull forward they waiting on fries. I said sure. I got my order and on my way to work. Why the fries was hot and fresh but the strips was cold and old. That piss me off. Why not push to give out hot fresh food. They had a good amount of people in there to not be serving no so fresh food. I could have understood if they were short staffed. They were talking and standing around. I paid almost $9.00 to eat fries and a drink
This was a go to spot for many years. But within the last couple/few years there have been some negative changes in the food quality and service. Cold food, inconsistent quality and service, you never know how your food is gonna be. Fries cold and taste off/chemically. Staff vibes now seem to not care about anything. The Whataburger we have come to know is gone. Sadly its not just this location.
If i could gove zero stars i would. The manager Jose is rude and has no idea how to run a store. I called in to complain about getting a burger that i ordered with no cheese because i cant eat cheese and i asked for grilled jalapenos. And the burger was complete opposite. I asked how can he fix it. I dont want a refund i just want my burger corrected. And he said he cant do that. I asked for general managers number and he said he was too busy to give me the number. Dont recommend going to this location.
3 years ago I used to get breakfast here 1-2 times a week. I stopped after the drive thru times got to be ridiculous. I'm talking 4 or 5 cars in the drive thru at 5AM. Or being a car back and waiting more than 10 minutes before I was even at the window. I decided to give them another try. Well nothing much has changed. I waited more than 2 minutes at the drive thru without a peep from the restaraunt. Maybe I'll try again in another 3 years.
I ordered a junior burger and the bun was hard. The fries were old even after waiting 8-10 minutes for my food. I thought the long wait meant fresh food
Bummer when the focus of this place is a burger customized anyway you want it, I asked for no onions and add ketchup, thankfully im not allergic to them.. I got onions I didnt ask for and no ketchup.... they can't them all I guess. But double bummer when I ask for spicy ketchup and get regular. Just ultimate fail on this visit.
