Really enjoyed our dinner here. The outdoor covered patio is super cute with white lights and vines. Truly felt as though the servers wanted us to have a great experience. They were attentive, friendly and accommodating. The menu had a wide variety of options and we enjoyed our wine, appetizers and mains. Well priced, good portions and overall a great choice in a city with so many choices!
Lovely Italian restaurant with excellent food and service. We went for lunch on a weekday and it was busy but it happened to be Restaurant Week. Not sure if it is normally this busy on a Monday, but also wouldn't be surprised because the good is very good! Really enjoyed the eggplant appetizer, the croquette and the endive salad. I had the pappardelle el Pepelino and it was delicious. As was the signature cheesecake dessert.
We found this spot walking in Soho. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the Tagliatelle with mushroom, raviolis, the grilled pulpo for an appetizer and the ricotta cheesecake for dessert. We even enjoyed the bread with the tomato flan. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive and the waiter was very nice. We will be definitely be returning.
Great spot to sit outside and people watch. Excellent service and homemade linguini was superb. Only did lunch - will be back for dinner.
Excellent dining experience. Great food, wonderful service, and pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Multiple dining floors, so larger than expected from exterior.
Best gnocchi I've had. I get it all the time!!! I recommend it. We go here every week!
Wonderful evening. The food was tremendous and the service was exceptional. We had not made a reservation and lucked out to be able to sit at the bar. We received exceptional service and extra attention. We enjoyed our cocktails. They were well made and delicious. We shared the endive and pear salad. Our entrees were the veal and ricotta meatballs and a pasta special of Linguini with Artichokes and pancetta. Very delicious! We were too full for desserts but they sounded wonderful.
The best Italian food I’ve ever had.better than in Italy.chef is amazing 😁
I accidentally came upon it after I turned the corner in Tribeca while trying to find another place. So I went up the stairs and popped in for a meal. My host's name was Leo. Really good service. Never rushes you when it comes to the menu. Could have opted to sit outside but it was a tad humid. But thank God they had A/C and it wasn't the kind that makes one freeze. Window seats are my favorite spots coz I like to watch people walk by. I also love it when it rains while am seated there. Meal: Fettuccini with braised rabbit and roasted tomatoes. I swear you'd think the rabbit was chicken. Wine: Rose Dessert: Oh my yes that melt in your mouth cheese cake was as delicious as Leo said it would be. Even my Aldo backpack that I've had for ages joined in on the fun. There's a subway right across from the restaurant. I made sure to add thar and the street it's located on. Best $90 i ever spent downtown on a Thursday. I'd call that self care. Typically I'd be home but I decided to venture out today which has been a NY bucket list i've decided upon on my free days rather than stay indoors. Of course it's not complete without the crazy summer rain, but i narrowly survived the one that started at 5:00pm. Anyway if you ever find yourselves in Tribeca, pop into Peopolino's for a nice meal.
Positively the best place to eat downtown, and perhaps in the city as a whole. This is our hometown neighborhood Italian restaurant. High-quality food, warm atmosphere, and most importantly the BEST people! Adrian makes it an especially good experience. This is THE place to go if you want all the best of real New York with none of the pretense of “trendy” places.
I had the pleasure of dining at Pepolino Tuscan Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The service was absolutely exceptional – attentive, friendly, and truly top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The food was phenomenal, with every dish bursting with authentic Tuscan flavors and perfectly executed. The pasta was fresh, the sauces were rich, and the desserts were heavenly. It’s clear that a lot of care and expertise goes into every plate. The ambiance was equally impressive – warm, inviting, and beautifully designed to make you feel like you’ve been transported to Tuscany. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for both a special occasion or a casual evening out. I highly recommend Pepolino to anyone looking for outstanding Italian cuisine in NYC. A well-deserved 5 stars!
Pepolino is my favorite restaurant in the city. I’ve been eating here for years and no matter what time I dine, the service is always exceptional and the food is immaculate. This is a no-frills, cozy, intimate space dishing out delicious Tuscan food in the Tribeca district. It’s perfect for a date, a family dinner, or a business meeting. Very versatile setting. Bathrooms on the upper and lower level, and a wine bar on the second floor. I highly recommend the steamed mussels out of the shell for an appetizer, a bottle of Chianti, fettuccine with braised rabbit and sun dried tomatoes, and whatever you do; you MUST finish with the ricotta cheesecake. DO NOT LEAVE without it. Buon appetito!
Superb food, friendly, attentive service. Love the squid ink seafood pasta and the wild boar ragu. The ricotta cheesecake is truly exceptional, unlike any cheese cake you’ve had-so light, you’ll swear it has no calories!
Lovely birthday dinner for my wife’s 45th. Ambience, food, service, all impeccable.
Wonderful little Italian restaurant with authentic out of scratch pasta and food. Even the leek potatoes soup was top delicious. Salad Romaine was like home! Totally recommend it! The service was fantastic, we were advised and taken care with a lot of good attention and knowledge. Just 5 with star.
We had dinner tonight at this Italian restaurant, and it was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious—the pasta was spectacular, and the octopus was incredible. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Huge compliments to the chef and the entire team for such a wonderful dining experience!
From the moment you step into Pepolinos you’re transported straight to Italy. The warm ambiance, soft lighting, and inviting aromas set the perfect stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. All of the pastas were particularly incredible. The meal concluded with the ricotta cheese cake that was light, creamy, and the perfect balance. It was the ideal ending to an already perfect meal. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or simply an indulgent night out, Pepolinos is a must-visit. Authentic, flavorful, and executed to perfection—this is Italian cuisine at its finest. I can’t wait to return!
Excellent Italian food in a quaint little restaurant. Staff was welcoming and very attentive. Food was incredible and lite in portion but seasoned to perfection. Ricotta cheesecake for desert was a delight. Highly recommend.
The restaurant was across from our hotel, so we stopped in. So glad we did. The food was amazing from the appetizer all the way to dessert. We had the charcuterie board and everything was so fresh and I had the pasta with shrimp and pistachio basil pesto then finally the creme brule. Delicious!!
One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. It’s not often I walk away from a restaurant saying, “This is a new favorite.” But from the food to the service, this place was impeccable. Given that we’re in the middle of a pandemic, I’m truly blown away at the level of this restaurant’s service. Our server was phenomenal and made perfect recommendations for drinks, dinner, and dessert. He guided us the whole way through and absolutely everything was divine. A couple of true standouts that you should absolutely add to your order: the mussels and the cheesecake. Everything was perfect, but I will 100% get both of these dishes when I return. If you’re looking for a heavenly dining experience, look no further!
My go to spot for Italian in the downtown Tribeca area. Have been here many times and am never disappointed by the quality of food and service I receive. The pastas are all made fresh in house and are incredibly delicious. The main dishes are also worth trying as they are all well made. Flash fried calamari and shrimp is a favorite appetizer while ricotta cheesecake for dessert is a must have
I celebrated my friend's birthday here with trippa alla fiorentina. It was incredible! Could not recommend it highly enough!
Had a wonderful meal and the atmosphere is fantastic. Staff is extremely friendly and everything was very authentic. Highly recommend
I loved this place! The food, service, and value were all truly exceptional. My friend had the daily special (wild mushroom ravioli) and I had the rabbit braised fettuccine, both of which were incredible! I absolutely loved everything about this charming little restaurant and cannot wait to revisit.
I just loved my experience at Pepolino. From the warm greetings to the goodbye and everything in between. True Tuscan food and service I highly recommend this establishment. I had tomato bread soup, an eggplant and mozzarella appitizer from the daily specials and pana cotta for dessert, pictured here. Try everything! I'll be back soon. Thank you Pepolino for a wonderful time.
Absolutely delicious! We had Pollo alla Buco and Fusilli alla Zucca. Excellent service. Cute and cozy.
Our first visit. Not our last. Without question. If you wish for an Italian restaurant with homelike atmosphere, combined with exceptional cuisine, And Exceptional Cuisine, Pepolino is a must. Having sampled a variety of dishes I cannot imagine any to be less than fabulous. Whatever combination of dishes you choose, you Must include the Ricotta Cheesecake for the Grand Finale!
My husband and I had an incredible dinner here last night. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to the bus boy on the 2nd floor. He filled our water glasses probably over 15 times (we were clearly dehydrated) without our glasses ever getting empty. The crostini with sausage and cheese was excellent. So flavorful. My husband got the seafood special with branzino, calamari, shrimp, potatoes, and salad. He really enjoyed it and said it was fresh and delicious. I got the gnocchi, which was good, but next time I would order something else. It was very loud where we sat, as we were one of the only couples surrounded by large groups, but that didn’t take away from our enjoyment of the meal. Next time, we would sit outside. All in all, a lovely place that I’m so glad we stumbled upon walking through SoHo. Give them a try!
Our meal at Pepolino brought back all the memories of Tuscany, spot-on. Simple ingredients, thoughtfully prepared, flavors truly shine. Steamed mussels were some of the best we've ever had, both pappardelle dishes were excellent, and also loved the Capri cocktail. Pepolino embraces what Tuscan food is all about: creating flavorful dishes using fresh, simple, and high-quality ingredients.
What a cool spot. The food and drinks here are amazing. I had the best pear vodka with sage syrup, lime juice and martini. Fabricio is a master at making them. The ricotta cheese cake is out of this world. Showed up to Pepolino a third time and make a mistake with reservation. I booked Saturday but showed up Friday and Jada was kind enough to save the night. I was visiting with a guest and wanted to share one of my favorite restaurants and was mortified to find out if showed up on the wrong night. Thank goodness for Jada. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. I would give it ten stars if I could.
Very romantic and off the path place. Service was fantastic, singularly bested by the quality of food. I had the grilled octopus on a crustini which, to be honest, is probably the best meal I have had this year. Cooked to perfection. They also have the tomato based olive for your bread, something I have never had before, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
AMAZING Italian restaurant!! I came here on a Saturday for lunch and the place was practically empty. I sat outside in their beautiful outdoor patio area. The waiter was very kind and gave us some phenomenal suggestions. To start the bread and the Suppli’ di Riso we’re fantastic. I really enjoyed the tomato paste that the bread came out with. And the Suppli di Riso was fantastic. The tomato sauce it was in was beautifully made and had rich depths of flavor. The Maltagliati al Ragu’ di Vitella was also fantastic. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the veal ragu tasted amazing. We finished off with the Pollo Agli Agrumi. This dish was to die for. The mix of the citrus and the chicken was delicious. It actually might be one of my top chicken dishes ever as it was such a great combination of flavors. The chicken was also cooked perfectly. Overall, this restaurant was amazing and 100% recommend!
The best Tuscan dinner I have ever had! The service was first class and the desserts were amazing! The ricotta cheesecake was spectacular! Thank you pepolinos for such an amazing dining experience!
Great menu and selection of items; very friendly, observant and helpful staff and such a nice vibe. They had porcini mushrooms soufflé on the specials when I visited and it was out of the world delicious. PRO TIP: you can ask for half portions for any of their pastas if you’re too full. Their desserts are made fresh every day and are quite light and delectable!
Intimate Tuscan restaurant with a rustic feel serving high quality Italian foods, differentiated from many of the restaurants you’d find in Little Italy. Several vegetarian options, some which can be customized to vegan. Ordered the pappa al pamadoro bread soup, a spinach appetizer, the papardelle al pepolino red pasta and a spaghetti chitara. Everything was very tasty, different and authentic feeling. The quality of the pasta was 👌🏼. The bread they served with a tomato spread was also delicious. Friendly staff, good dining experience
A 5 star experience all around! Authentic flavors, very friendly and attentive service, yummy bread and tomato paste thingy and EXCELLENT freshly made pasta. The gnocchi was so pillows and soft, perfectly complemented with the butter sage sauce. And the pappardelle pasta with wild boar ragu was impressive. A lovely atmosphere, perfect for date night or friends with dinner- inside and outside is so adorablewith the lighting. We'll be back!
Best Italian food ever! We had the grilled eggplant with smoked mozzarella, lamb and beef meatballs, and homemade pasta with boar ragu. All were delicious! The homemade ricotta cheesecake was the best dessert I’ve ever had! So light and not too sweet, filled with vanilla buttery goodness! The service was excellent!
One of the best Italian dinners I’ve had (and I go to Italy frequently!). It started with the bread with the tomato dish on the house. As this was already so good, I couldn’t wait for the main course. I decided to go for the daily special, which was the pork shank. My oh my it was so incredibly rich in flavour! Also, the meat was very well prepared and it was a very good combination with the risotto-like dish it came with. The staff was also super friendly. Loved every minute of our dinner here. PS: this place is also dog friendly!
We had an amazing meal. The food, service and atmosphere were terrific. We had a party of 11 and one of the people had severe food allergies. The waitstaff and chef went out of their way to prepare a safe and delicious meal. We will be back!
The staff was awesome. Extremely friendly and gave great suggestions to the food. The cheese cake was the best I’ve had, don’t pass on it. The main dishes were extremely delicious and fresh. Loved this place and it was dog friendly as well. Life saver from the cold weather.
Went for a friend’s birthday party, the service and the food were superb. The setting is a little rustic and traditional but for me that is part of the charm of the place. The endive salad was very good. The truffle panna cotta and the branzino were great. The espresso coffee was fine but not great. The ricotta cheesecake was one of the best I’ve tried in New York. Highly recommended.
Stopped in for apps and wine, what a charming and wonderful restaurant. The service is perfect, the food is delicious. They serve a tomato flan with bread that is surprisingly tasty. The variety of apps we had, all were as good as the next. It’s cozy with ambient lighting and the jazz background music knocked it out of the park for me. Very highly recommended!
I had my birthday dinner here for a group of 12 and everything was perfect! They made sure we had a great table, food was delicious and the service was incredible, never letting our glasses get empty. The team there went out of their way to make it a wonderful night!
My Italian friend took me to Pepolino on a Monday night and I was super impressed with the food. We ordered the calamari fritti, Tagliatelle porcini and the Melanzane scarmoza which was my favorite dish. For dessert we ordered the Ricotta cheesecake and it was delicious. I’m not a cheesecake person but I LOVE this one. Great service and relaxing ambiance. The whole experience transported me back to Tuscany ❤️ This is an amazing restaurant and I can’t wait to dine where again
Came here for a late lunch as a party 1 and wanted to try their Restaurant Week lunch special. I was greeted by a lovely staff member and was free to choose any small table. The complementary tomato flan packed a surprising amount of flavor. Spreading it on the bread was a different but delightful experience compared to having a plate of sauce or oil. The top of the bread was brushed with some salt, elevating the overall taste. I had the Carpaccio di Manzo for my appetizer. The marriage of cured beef, cheese, and truffle was a wonderful salt fiesta in my mouth. The portion was also quite generous, so I'll definitely get this again in my future visits (unless I'm trying something new). For my main, I got the Polpettine Di Vitella (Veal & Ricotta Meatballs). The dish overall had a good balance between salt and savory, and a plentiful amount of salt and pepper. The meatballs had a semi-deep lingering taste from the ricotta, which was accompanied with several seasoned vegetables and a light tomato sauce. It was a good contrast from the strong carpaccio opener. In total, the dishes were definitely on the salty side. However, it was tolerable for me because it satisfied my appetite as an athlete. But I can see how this could be a turn off for some consumers, especially with the Carpaccio di Manzo. The restaurant week special is definitely a steal, but I will still come back to try more dishes, and recommend this to my friends and family
Came here with some colleagues for dinner while at meetings in SoHo and loved it. We sat on the 2nd floor and the view is great. Excellent ambiance, classic decor, and wonderful people. The server was great, and the food was awesome. Homemade pastas were great, definitely recommend the boar ragu and the porcini tagliatelle, both were delicious. The sausage crostini appetizer was great too. Would definitely recommend.
From the outside Pepolino looks like a small restaurant but it's actually multiple floors and had a lovely decorated experience. We went after work with a group of 15 and they offer a fixed price menu that serves a 3 course meal of app, entree, and dessart for $60. The portions were a bit small but it with the 3 courses was a perfect size to be full at the end of the meal. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions on food options. Food was delicious and not one of my party was disappointed with their choice. The restaurant was buzzing with families, couples, and large tables which shows they accommodate everyone. Very happy with this choice and if you are ever in the neighborhood or staying in a nearby hotel you should definitely give this one a try!
Fabulous! This spot will transport you straight to Italy. The atmosphere is charming & rustic and the service was attentive & wonderful. Had a light lemon pasta that made me feel like I was dining in Sorrento. My mom had the trout special and it was wonderful. We left with full bellies and high spirits.
Pretty consistent Italian restaurant- have been here a couple times over the years and the food has been pretty consistent. Would say the pastas are better than the secondi dishes though. My favorite dishes were the squid ink pasta and veal meatballs. We also got the porchetta special but it was overly seasoned for me so would say perhaps stick to items on the menu for their staples
My wife and I had a Friday night dinner here. We love the food - she ordered the seafood linguini, had a papadela (the first dish on the menu), and another appetizer that has eggplant and mazeralla in it. Every dish was good! The service was great too. We didn't like the cocktail Verona which is $22, and we were a bit disappointed that they don't have affogato or tiramisu for dessert.
Cute outdoor space! Tons of seating. It’s a great place to people watch! The service was friendly! The food was just okay. For the price it could have been better. There’s no kids menu. The menu is not as kid friendly. It’s close to the A or C or E train -Canal street stop! It’s worth checking out! It is definitely pricey though.
We almost left Pepolino within the first 15 min of being seated, as we were placed next to a large table where two snooty, wealthy, WASPy Karens were gabbing and ignoring their misbehaving daughters who were wreaking havoc in the general vicinity and disturbing everyone nearby (esp. us). Ugh. Talk about a living birth control ad. We eventually got the staff to move us to another area, and things were immediately better from there. But I felt bad for the couple that got seated at our old table. Pepolino staff: If parents won't reign in their bratty children, you need to do something. I promise the backlash from one or two parents will be balanced out by the many more diners who will appreciate you for taking action. Anyway, the food. The Zuppa Di Porri & Patate is scrum-diddly-umptious and perfect for cold winter nights. But the Cozze Al Burro was the best dish by far. The garlicky parsley sauce was everything your Mediterranean-loving heart could want, and the fact that they de-shell their mussels is just cherry for lazy diners like me. Pasta-wise, the Tagliatelle Ai Funghi Porcini was one of the more flavorful mushroom pastas I've had, while the Fettuccine Al Coniglio provided much-needed rabbit heartiness. The portions were pretty substantial too. We skipped drinks and dessert, but overall, I wouldn't rule out a comeback. I might bring my own privacy screens though, to block out wayward children.
Good food and good service! The eggplant appetizer is really delicious and very unique. We had the seafood pasta and the ravioli of the day, which were okay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely on the more expensive side though, and not sure if it’s really worth the value. I’d come back though!
There used to be an all-Italian wait staff here. Many of them from Florence’s premier Cibreo restaurant. I want to love Pepolino the way I used to but it fell out of favor years ago, perhaps while other restaurants (Aurora, San Carlo, etc) were opening in the ‘aughts that were new and exciting. I really don’t know. I’ve never had a bad meal at Pepolino but the reviews suggest others have been in recent days and the owner seems to think it’s ok to respond by telling people it’s their own fault and not that of the restaurant. My wife and I would love to return and likely will soon, but mostly because Pepolino was the absolute best Italian restaurant in downtown NYC for about a decade and it was a lot of fun being there. Hopefully this energy and food quality can be recaptured in 2026.
This place is a neighborhood gem. Recommended! I eat out a lot and this competes with many restaurants that are much more expensive. It’s a casual place, but I like that for getting great food when I go to Chinatown to see my genius acupuncturist (technically this is Tribeca). Just had an excellent chicken breast and salad lunch for $30 that I would have been happy if I had paid much more for (not that I want them to read this and raise the prices!) Its decor is rather like Italian country with pine tables and chairs. The service is excellent too! Such sweet people working here. An overall very satisfying experience. When I bring friends here, they keep coming back.
Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was not very busy, the food & service were very good and I would recommend it and would visit again. My only down side was the table placement next to a large party of 8 and next to the "bar" area which was not ideal but the upstairs looked inviting & with a better table location/atmosphere it could have been a 5 pretty easily.
I happened to be in the neighborhood so decided to give this a place a try. Two stories with a nice rustic vibe. My starter - pork belly on a gnocchi custard was excellent while my pasta - a pappardelle with wild boar was decent. I would save space for their ricotta cheesecake though - a great finish. I did find prices a bit on the high side compared to similar restaurants - the most obvious being their cocktail menu. Basic cocktails of the type here should not run above $20. Needless to say, I skipped the cocktail.
Came here with my team for a team dinner. It feels really intimate and dimly lit inside. Good: - Tasty free bread - Burrata was very good, good ratio of cheese to tomato - Eggplant parm was so good - it was thinly sliced and easy to eat - The ragu was tasty - the pasta noodles had a lot of texture and good flavor - Portions are good, super full - Service was good - nice waiters Bad: - Nothing too crazy in terms of blowing my mind Overall this place was nice for getting my team created!
We were in the Canal area of Tribeca during a rainy night and saw Pepolina close to a subway entrance. We decided to try the restaurant and are glad we did. The room was warm & inviting and the service was very good. We tried the spaghetti chitarra, pesto linguini (special) and tagliatelle ai funghi porchini. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were very nice. For dessert we had the tiramisu which was one of the better ones I have had recently with the liquor being clearly prominent. Pepolina is recommended for better quality home style pasta at a good value and many vegetarian choices.
Cute low-key Italian restaurant with good service. Unfortunately the food didn't meet my expectations, the rabbit meat in the pasta was overcooked and the sauce had too much parsley that made it difficult to actually taste the rabbit, this sauce also lacked salt. The veal ragu pasta was a bit too salty but it was a better choice than the rabbit. Pasta itself was good though, cooked just the right amount of al dente.
Went with friends who frequent Pepolino and raved about it. Service was very good but the food was just average. Started with Carpaccio di Tonno ,Tuna carpaccio with caramelized pearl onions & balsamic reduction, Melanzane e scamorza ,Thinly sliced grilled eggplant with herbs & melted smoked mozzarella , and Crostini di salsiccia e stracchino ,Crostini with italian sausage & stracchino cheese gratin. All just ok. For entrees, my wife ordered the Pork chop special, just a single chop, fair. I ordered the Cinghiale alla maremmana ,Maremmana style wild boar with black olives & grilled polenta , ok. Won't return.
Great service, fresh pasta but the dish that I ordered in this case the one with ragu that is called Maltagliati Al Ragu Di Vitella was tasteless, I got very dissapointed because it cost 27 dollars and I didn't enjoy it at all. The Tagliolini Gratinati and the Antipasto Toscano were good but they asked me to pay the Antipasto as a special food order and I think it was cheaper than that. Dinner was very expensive in the end, and they asked me to pay 20% of tip when they explicitly said in the receipt that they apply that amount for parties of 6 and up I got very dissapointed when I read that because we were just two. I found that super rude.
Pepolino just offered some of the most bizarre and uncoordinated service I've experienced at a restaurant in NYC. The staff pressured us into ordering before we were ready and, when we finally gave in, only took the order of one person in our party and walked away. Routinely, multiple staff would ask us the same question within seconds of each other, to the point where it almost became a joke. They also routinely took uneaten food off the table after we explicitly said we were not done eating. It was early in the night on a Sunday and the restaurant was not crowded; there is no conceivable reason why they would rush us like they did. Although the food was delicious, the staff pressuring us to order, finish our food, etc. led to a weird energy and extremely uncomfortable meal.
Very expensive as compared to the food quality. We ordered soup and they served a thick tomato paste, waiter proudly said that you can eat this soup. Pasta was very raw. Burrata was very average, felt very oily. Salad was sour. Didn’t like the service either. I asked waiter to cancel my pasta order after I tried their appetisers and waiter bluntly refused to do that. The waiter took away the plate without asking even though I was working on it. I would say, it wasn’t worth it. Only good thing was the tomato paste they served with bread. Owner’s response here shows sarcastic tone and arrogance. And this is the exact problem I had with the servers as well there. They didn’t want to accept or listen to customer’s reviews/ feedback.
We were seated in a really terrible spot. The area smelled like urine. I wouldn't come here again. They were not forthcoming on whether or not it was kid friendly, etc. They don't have an established dress code. I also noticed they have an abundance of IKEA furniture. It's not a Tuscan establishment.
At Pepolino to celebrate my husbands birthday. Not very happy with the lackluster, slow service so far. Ordered 4 appetizers and received the first two in a timely manner but had to wait more than 30 minutes for the octopus and mussel appetizers. Server doesn't really check on us. Cocktails were watered down in spite of the high price. For what they charge, we expected better service and better drinks. Hopefully the rest of the meal gets better .....
I'm sorry, but the pasta I had was really awful. I wish I could give them another chance but it was really a disaster. It's not cheap and the appetizer was fun (not special but ok) I get very emotional when things are made well or badly. And this was bad. Sorry. There are so many places in nyc so don't waste your time and money here. My pasta tasted like soft can food. You are warned.
