Fantastic!! We got the Gyoza, Money Bags, Steak Teriyaki, Yellow Tail Roll and Cowboy Roll. It was all delicious and fresh. The food came out quickly and staff was very friendly. The inside was clean and inviting. We will definitely be back!

After having some really bad experiences after only being open for 2 weeks I decided to wait about a month or two before returning to give them time to work out the kinks. It felt unfair to judge them solely on these initial experiences in an industry that struggles in so many ways post-COVID. Today I arrived at noon on a Friday, it was not a full dining room as all the other times I attempted to dine. I was promptly seated and my waiter was cheerful and attentive. I was able to put my order in just as he returned with my drink. I ordered the Gyoza and Alligator Roll. My food took only about 10 minutes to come out after ordering. My sushi's presentation was pleasing to the eye and hit the spot, everything was absolutely delicious. I was able to be in and out in under 45 minutes, which I believe is important for people who are more than likely coming in during a lunch break at work. This has improved DRAMATICALLY since my past visits. So glad Sakura has come to our community and I plan to patronize them more often. I hope those of us who love this type of food will continue supporting them and keep them here. The value for what you get on your plate(s) is quite good considering many other local fast and mediocre foods can cost the same if not more. If you have not tried them, I highly recommend you do, they will not disappoint.

My boyfriend and I were in hesitant to try out a new sushi place but WOW this place amazed both of us. The service was great, very attentive. The food was delicious! I loved everything we ordered here I recommend this place 100%%%%% please go!!!

I called in a pickup order for the Shaggy Dog and the Fried Gyoza. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes, and it was. The roll lacked enough spicy Mayo and eel sauce. Other than that, it was perfect. I added extra eel sauce for .50 to dip the Gyoza in. There was extra soy sauce in the bag with a fork, chopsticks, and napkins. The bag was stapled close very well. And everything was nice and fresh. Considering that I didn't have to drive 30-40 minutes out of town it's worth the price.

I had the Rock-N-Roll and my wife had the sushi dinner. It was all delicious, they have the most important ingredient here for sushi, good sushi rice. The California roll that came with my wifes dinner was even amazing. The match-stick cucumber and avocado tasted far better than most other places I had tried, and worked perfectly with the great sushi rice. My Rock-N-roll was amazing, the shrimp inside was far larger than other places I have been and the sauce on top was to die for. Wish I lived closer so I could keep coming again and again.

We had dinner here Tuesday. It was really good. We ordered the sashi sampler, the Cucumber roll, a rainbow roll, the tempura appetizer and one each of the onion soup and miso soup. They were short handed so service was a little slow bit despite that, we had a great experience and will definitely be going back.

The wife and I have eaten at a lot of places. We are big sushi and hibachi fans. Sakura is by far the best. Wonderful staff and pleasant atmosphere. Sashimi tuna via Tuna Don, unbelievable good. This little gem in Woodville is 5 stars across the board. Why drive a distance to find great quality Japanese food, when you can get it in Woodville Texas. I don’t leave many reviews, but this place deserves it. Please give this place an opportunity. When it first opened, it did have some understandable ups and downs, but this place has blossomed tremendously. Thank you Sakura, dedicated customer here.

Food here is amazing the green devil roll is where it's at. I didn't have the opportunity to try any appetizers yet, but the fish in the sushi was cold, which was nice. Which at least tells me they're refrigerated and did not take long to make and with multiple walkout orders coming in. Oh, and we ordered two additional platters including the spicy tuna and the spicy salmon and they came within minutes. Everything was excellent. Thank you!

My wife and I went last night and the food was great and the service was awesome. So, we'll definitely be back and bring our out of town friends. I'm not a sushi snob, but being from Houston, where there are plenty of choices, I was a little acceptable. But I had the Sakura roll and the green devil roll and both were really good. My wife had the hibachi chicken, and she said it was good. I tasted itand it was good. The chicken was tender and the veggies were good too.

Me and husband LOVE sushi. We live in Jasper. We literally travel all over for good sushi from Lufkin to Beaumont and this place is amazing. It’s clean. The menu is amazing. The quality of their sushi is amazing. Gosh please open one up in Jasper!

It's great to have our favorite Sushi place so close to home! We love the one in Livingston...the only thing lacking at this location is it's at an old Dairy Queen but they're making vast improvements to the setting!

Great place! Finally, I can get sushi without having to drive 40+ mins to a whole different city 😂. The staff is friendly, the environment is a little on the quiet side, but still good. Thankful to have a decent sushi place open up in our small middle of nowhere town.

Went there when they first opened and was so disappointed in the sushi. HEB has better sushi. Although I said I wouldn’t go back.. I waited till now and REALLY wanted some fried rice and teriyaki chicken.I’m at a lost for words. The fried rice is the worse I’ve EVER had. I’ve never had teriyaki chicken like this before. I will NEVER go back. I am only hoping that someone checks the reviews before they spend lots of money only to get home and are disappointed. I wish I had checked these reviews first.. Our small town of woodville doesn’t have much of a selection of restaurants. I gave the benefit of the doubt.

I lived in Hawaii for 20 years and this place needs to send the Chief’s there and the owner to learn a lot of things about fresh sushi. Why are you do Woodville hard working people to this not even mediocre food. I tried eating it but just couldn’t. This is my second time trying this place it was bad then also.
