Ubatuba Açaí delivers a strong mix of variety and customization, anchored by a base that many describe as flavor-ful and fresh. Their menu offers multiple signature bowls (e.g. Almada, Felix, Puruba, Cedro), each with distinct topping combinations, plus a “create-your-own” option so you can pick your base and mix and match toppings like fresh fruit, granola, bee pollen, cacao nibs, nuts, and superfood powders. Base quality and texture – thick, true açaí (or açaí sorbet) is preferable; you want berry notes but not just banana. 2. Toppings – fresh fruit, good granola (texture is key), nuts/seeds, things like coconut, superfoods. 3. Variety & customizability – ability to add protein, change base (pitaya, dragonfruit, etc.), or pick unusual toppings. 4. Balance of sweetness – you want it natural: honey/agave, not overly sugary. 5. Presentation & service – freshness, how quickly things melt, and how the ingredients are layered all impact the experience.
So far, one of my favorite places to get an acai bowl! Totally customizable with a variety of bases, my favorite is the pitaya base. I love that they offer a gluten free granola as an Acai bowl is complete without granola! So for my order it was a pitaya base, gluten free granola, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, bee pollen, and drizzled honey on top. Definitely worth trying. They also offer multiple flavors of empanadas! The swiss mushroom is beyond delicious.
My vegan empanada and dessert was great! Looking forward to returning and trying other items on the menu. Nice restaurant and friendly / helpful staff. Glad I visited this place ☺️👍🏻
I love this place so much the açaí bowls are so delicious I’ve been there so many times and will keep going! Plus there are so many options for toppings and bases!

Staff were SO friendly and what i got was really good!! I got a medium acai bowl (100% recommend) and an empanada (100% recommend!!)

Guy on staff was great. I saw him assist someone else carrying supplies into a neighboring restaurant. He let me order a little ahead of opening too.
I love going here after (Or Before) my workouts! They have so many options for your bowls that you can mix and match, the store has a nice clean calm environment too so its nice to sit down and eat there if you have the time!
Enjoyed the Açaí bowl with fruit. Their produce was very fresh. Staff was very polite and helpful. I am not a huge fan of the wooden spoons but they get the job done.

A long time had passed since I been there. Some new people and some that remember me. The foul people have moved on and the sweet and genuine have remained. Nice. The bowls are incredible!!! SO many options, you will not get tired of it.

Wow, ordered from here via UberEats, and really had no idea what I was going to get. Best smoothie I have ever had! I got the Protein Machine. My bf and I were both super impressed. So delicious!
The empanadas are outstanding, I purchased a few today, brought them home to be reheated in my own over and they were delicious . The service is good and will definitely be back.
Stopped here on the way home back to Central Valley. Grabbed 4 acai bowls. One of my picky kiddos didn't like the acai base in his bowl. The woman who worked here must've overhead him complaining and she made him another bowl the way he wanted it without the acai base. She went above and beyond and was so sweet about it. This place would get 10 stars plus if possible because of this person. And the bowls? DELICIOUS!!!!

Overpriced, I got a medium and a small bowl and 2 empanadas that cost me 37.50. Although the food was good, I wouldn't go again.
