Two words Absolutely Delicious! Allow me to elaborate. 100% restaurant atmosphere Very clean, organized and the wait staff could not have been nicer. But this review would not be possible if the lunch special I ordered was not as perfect as it absolutely was. My complements to the Chef, Absolutely Delicious!

Looked like a hole in the wall, but those are the best restaurants! You walk in and think you're in a Christmas winter wonderland! Service was very friendly, food was delicious! We took home no leftovers because we ate all of our food! We will definitely return!

First time customers and after eating at alot of the restaurants in Zapata we were pleased with EVERYTHING!Good service, clean place, our orders correct,plus non greasy fried catfish, chicken, chicken fried steaks., great side soup& crisp salads & we had good cheesecake & apple pie.wish we had visited sooner & saved ourselves the bad service & bad food at the other restaurants in town, diffinetly returning.o

Most of the restaurants in Zapata are lackluster, but this one sets the bar. Each time I’ve been, the owner comes to the table and asks about our meal. The food and service is top notch and I would recommend it to anyone who wants all of the flavor of a home cooked meal without the hassle.

The food is amazing!!! Loved it a great stop with amazing portions dinners come with salad/soup. The Italian soup is awesome and I will defiantly come back. Warning the ittis is strong.

I'm here in town for work. The area has a lot of Mexican restaurants but this one separates itself! The food was fresh and delicious. It beats all the other big restaurants around. The menu is a variety of different foods. I had the beef fajita plate with rice and refried beans. I would highly suggest this place. And I will be back during my stay here!!

The food was great, the salad is fresh and the soup we got was good as well. The staff was friendly and attentive. I got the chicken frien chicken which was juicy and crunchy.

The service was great, checked on us often. The food was just as expected for a quick Sunday lunch. We'll go back again to explore deeper into their menu.

Really bad service...they took 30 minutes to serve this panchos .....they counted the chips and beef they put on this ..... they charged $16 some for this panchos a coke and a mineral water...Bad Bad service !!!!!!!! Plus we arrived before some costumers and we got the food after them.

Food is isn’t the problem at this establishment. Service? Needs improvement. Maybe the restaurant doesn’t handle large groups often, but drinks and food wasn’t served in a timely manner. Drinks that were not served from a can (orange juice, sweet tea that was far from what one would expect as a sweet tea from a Mexican restaurant, hot chocolate, watery coffee ) didn’t taste very good. The waitress gave attitude when the sweet tea was questioned. The last person in our party was served close to two hours from our initial arrival. This is definitely a sit down restaurant that requires a large chunk of free time and forgiving patrons. My original review of this restaurant was made 2 years ago. Thanks for the response of my review of your establishment- 2 years later. Based on the most recent reviews others really enjoy your restaurant.
