We flew in from Houston and were looking for a place to eat. Our son recommended Olivella’s. Brayden waited on us and we had a fantastic experience. The food was some of the best Italian we’ve ever had. And the service was amazing. I would highly recommend Olivella’s.

This location has excellent food and excellent service. We got delivered pizza that was cold from Uber Eats and the manager of the store ended up coming out to our house to deliver new fresh pizza. It was out of his way and I know they were busy, but he made the effort regardless. Very rare nowadays!

Kylie was so amazing on our first visit. We tried different dishes and each one was incredible! Butch , the owner, came to our table and shared such fun information. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back for the amazing specials!

This restaurant is wonderful! From the second we walked in, everyone was so friendly. Our server, Kylie, was so knowledgeable and kind and helped guide us through the menu. The pizza was incredible, as was the tiramisu! Butch, the owner, had fun stories to share about the 100 year old recipes. Definitely check them out!

It's easy to see why Olivella's is so popular. Just down the street from SMU there are always parents and their co-eds out for a wonderful, reasonably priced meal. The food is terrific, the prices fair and the wine selection is amazing. Although always busy, and crowded do to the small space, it's always a great time. As usual, the food was great, I had the Lasagna Bolognese and the Caprese salad. My daughter had the Fetticini Alfredo in it's creamy wonder. As great as the food is, it is the service that continually draws us back. The wait staff genuinely gives off a feeling of appreciation for customers and a desire to make their experience special. A huge shout out to our server Daisy. She was friendly, courteous, timely, and helpful.

Great food and atmosphere! The pizza was excellent 🍕 And shoutout to the assistant manager James who we found out is also from NJ! We chatted with him for a while and he was so pleasant to talk to!

We enjoyed the food and the servers were all very attentive and friendly. The Olivella salad was refreshing and the size was fairly small, so you can order it with a main course. The pistachio sausage pizza was unusual but tasted wonderful. The Roman style could fill up two adults with no issue. The meatballs in the spaghetti & meatballs were great, too. Will visit this place again.

We got take out from Olivella’s and thought the food was spectacular. When walking in, the atmosphere seemed inviting and great for a weekday or with families. We got the drunken pig pizza which was phenomenal as well as the pizza rolls which were also extremely well made and a good value for the price. We got a caesar salad which was just ok and I probably wouldn’t get it again. Overall, Olivella’s made a great impression and I would definitely come back.

True Neopolitan style pizza that is baked in an authentic Italian oven and tastes amazing. The salads and pastas are delicious. Pro tip-come before 5pm on Mondays through Thursdays and get 2 pizzas for the price of 1. Too bad this location isn’t in a prettier spot…

Great tasting pizza and a nice selection of wine. The happy hour deals which run until 4pm M-TH and until 3:30 on F are excellent. First time visit and plan to be back to try the other pizzas and food offerings.

Olivella's primary interest is serving pizza that will leave you satisfied and excited to return. Parking is limited and dining space is small, so maybe consider take out. Well worth the experience though! If you have a small party or want some wine with your pizza, just come a little early or leave with a little extra time on your hands. The portions are welcoming for the price, and they deliver where it counts. Texture, temperature, ingredient quality and quantity, consistency, wait time, you name it - they've got it down. The wait staff is memorable and amiable. They have quick recommendations, accommodations, and responsive yet unobtrusive timing. If you want an authentic Italian style pizza, go to Olivella's. Tip: the salad is giant, split it. Note for Olivella's: y'all might want to put that basil on your margarita pizza nearer to the end so it doesn't wilt so much (picture included). Otherwise I'd say you have a 10/10 dining experience.

The thin-crust pizza option, which they call "Roman style," won me over. The place is cozy and frequented by young SMU students. The staff are attentive. All in all, Olivella's Pizza is a very pleasant place.

HOLY CRAP. This place is great. Every bit of food was amazing. Pricing was extraordinary. The service was super with attention to detail. While I do really like the atmosphere, the tables being so close together in a restaurant can lead to people bumping into each other a bit. We will be back!

The atmosphere was amazing! Love this place. We came for the pizza but the pasta was right on par. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was the pizza although was awesome, the crust on the Roman thin crust was cooked well but in my opinion, thin crust should crunch on each bite.
