Lal Mirch is hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warmth, genuine hospitality, and a level of service that makes you feel like family. Abu and the entire serving staff go above and beyond every single time. They are attentive without ever being intrusive, incredibly kind, and always willing to help you choose the perfect dish. The food is exceptional—rich flavors, fragrant spices, and consistently fresh ingredients. Every dish tastes like it was made with care. Whether you’re ordering your usual favorites or trying something new, you can trust that it will be delicious. What truly sets Lal Mirch apart, though, is the team. Abu is phenomenal—friendly, professional, and always making sure everyone is taken care of. The whole staff creates an environment that feels warm, comfortable, and welcoming. We ordered House dinner for 2 which includes soup, dessert, Tandori chicken, chicken tilka , garlic naan and a spinach dish. The food is really delicious. We are from the bay area which is full of Indian restaurants. We really enjoy our dinner here. Service is good. We will return again.

The food is still delicious and the customer service is exceptional. My server Abu was so attentive the entire time. I highly recommend this restaurant. I love their Shrimp Biryani and Mango Ice Cream.

This is our first time to this place and the Indian food here is so delicious!!! I love Indian food and two of my favorite restaurants in Woodland Hills Had closed for good and ever since I’ve been searching for a new Indian food restaurant. Finally I found this great place which is only 15 minutes drive from Woodland Hills and totally worth the drive !!! I ordered the chicken biryani and asked for like a level 3 spicy it was so good and my friend ordered chicken Makhni with rice it was delicious we shared both loved our picks !!! We also ordered nan house bread very tasty And the the chicken samosa The chefs cooking is Top at this place ! Server was really nice and welcoming And the place has a very warm home feeling vibe! I really recommend checking this place if you love Indian food :) Prices are between $15-20$ for each dish Enjoy!

This is an excellent Indian restaurant! I have been here twice before and each time had a great experience. The Gobi Manchurian was really fresh and well seasoned with peppers. The Paneer Makhani is delicious and really reminded me of 'Indian wedding food'. The butter naan was well made and the garlic naan was just slightly dry. I just think the atmosphere inside is a little dark and reminds me of a classic Pizza Hut vibe. Update: the Gobi Manchurian is a good as ever, and the Paneer Masala was also very tasty!

i was in Lal Mirchi for Lunch ( DEC 25 - 2025), Agoura Hills, LA area . Quality of the food was very good . Mulligatawny Soup, Tandoori Roti, Sagh Dal ( Spinach Dal) and Mix Veg Curry and some Basmati rice . Service was pretty quick with reasonable wait time

Nazir was the waiter. He was awesome. Explained everything perfectly. This was the fastest time that food was delivered to the table in an Indian restaurant. Food was yummy. rest rooms were so clean.

Exceptional quality, service and value. The chicken tikka was the best I have ever had. Charred outside and juicy when you cut. The garlic naan is made to order and was fantastic again the best. The shrimp tandoori was very good as well. We ordered the vegetable rice, it contained plenty of different veggies. The yogurt, the Lassi, the pistachio ice cream all were delicious. The tea blend is made in house. No wonder this restaurant was rated one of the top restaurants in Los Angeles. Extremely healthy food with a welcoming hospitality. Strongly recommended. AAAAA+++++

Very kind and polite servers and couldn't have asked for better service. Plenty of parking and restaurant is large enough to not feel overly crowded. Menu has a lot of options so there is something for everyone. The food wasn't seasoned as strong as I personally would've liked but I think that's because they cater more to an American pallete rather than a more traditional strong flavored/seasoned Indian food. Next time I'll ask for the food to be spicier and give it a 2nd try.

Great service, but very bad food! The owner is an extremely cordial and friendly person. But, the food was very bad. I am surprised by the positive reviews. I am Indian and this was the worst Indian food I have ever had in a restaurant. The samosa had a potato filling which had gone bad. The baingan bharta did not taste like baingan bharta at all. My colleague ordered some lamb dish and thought that it was very bad. He ate only a bit. Dal was quite OK. I would not recommend this restaurant. Apologies to the owner!

As we started to at the Rotis we noticed that the were black and burnt on the bottom and the majority of it was still in cooked on the other side. I would not recommend this place! The food was not traditional Indian Food very watered down and horrible service!

Thought it was an Indian restaurant, not really !! Not sure why the guys were super rude they just behaved very cold and with no hospitality . Top of this they through the check and terminal on our table even before we finished eating !! Guys , You copied Indian food to good and even your restaurant as Indian restaurant. How ever . You are completely missing the main aspect of India …Hospitality!! Hope you improve it next time .

Service was pathetic. As soon as, we entered, the way staff treated us was pretty bad. One of the staff shouted at my 6 yrs old when she was trying to sit in empty chairs. Later on they responded with the rude answers. This was one of the worst experience that we had in Los Angeles. Please avoid visiting this place if you care about staff and service.
