this is my favorite coffee shop in town! the vibes are so good. art on the ceilings, little mini bodega snacks and drinks instead if u don’t want a coffee, wifi, printing, amazon lockers, outdoor seating, discount for paying in cash, and friendly baristas! i also like how they support the community, they support and display local art, and during the worst part of covid they opened up a little mini market for the neighborhood. i love the new orleans iced coffee
this has always been my go-to coffee shop since my days at UT. This coffee shop feels like home and the outdoor area has always been my favorite.
Had an incredibly cool barista (loved the Snoopy patch!), my new favorite chai latte in Austin, and a great quiet spot to finish up some work on a weekday afternoon.
Best and favorite coffee shop in town. Great vibes, pretty good coffee, fast internet, and plenty of space. People who work here are always nice too.
Genuinely the best latte I've ever had in my life. I didn't realize coffee could be so good. Vibe is cute, has amazon lockers and a printer too. Wish this was next to my house!
This is a great place to chill out and enjoy a good cold brew. Although we got our customary cappuccino and latte, the barista insisted we try their cold brew as well. Wow. Very buttery smooth! The atmosphere has some hard wood floors, 1960s tables, and enough art on the wall to qualify as a Jackson Pollock exhibit. The coffee was smooth and (wow) served in a real glass glass! It was very flavorful and the barista was super friendly. Plenty of seating inside. If there was a negative, it would be not a lot of parking. Thankfully you can park in the street nearby.
Austin has lost the art of quaint cosy coffee shops. Flightpath has not!! I kid you not I drove around to 5 different coffee shops all within the same area (Hyde park-ish) hoping to find a quiet coffee shop where I could SIT (crazy to think coffee shops have very limited sitting) and do some work. Most were either crazy loud, had no outlets, or had uncomfortable seating. Flightpath is doing it RIGHT in every single department. I was so thankful when I walked in and was able to quickly find seating, no line to get coffee, and found easy access to an outlet. Thank you so much Flightpath, you’ve gained a customer for life! My ONLY complaint is the parking situation, it’s very limited.
Really cozy place, it has an old 24-hour diner vibe. Angie, the co-owner was really nice and told me her story about starting here in the 90’s and eventually stepping into management with her co-worker. Delicious grab-and-go breakfast tacos and pastries My single critique, and this isn’t meant to detract from the quality of the overall experience, is that the music was a bit loud… but the place was also not very busy. Still a wonderful experience!
Great place to grab coffee with a friend or work for a few hours. There are different seating areas and it is pretty obvious which spots are the more quiet sections. Coffee and breakfast tacos are good. They have other snacks and non coffee beverages. Parking is limited directly in front of the building but just like other places street parking and walk is allowed.
What an amazing coffee shop!! I cannot say enough how pleasant the experience is for me, every time I come here. I have been coming to Flightpath since early college days at UT. Jason, Angie, Maddie, Maggie and last but not least Katherine, always greet everyone with a smile and excellent service. The atmosphere is serene. There are abundant good vibes. I am in awe. Thank you Flightpath for being my favorite coffeehouse in the world. ❤️
Excellent cafe and brunch place! Great for working or studying! Their coffee is delicious and the food is great too! The staff are very friendly! The location is great! And the music played on this location makes you stay longer and relaxes you if you’re having a difficult day. Thank you guys a lot! We can’t wait to visit again!
This place shines with a peaceful patio, ideal for soaking up the calm atmosphere. However, the retro interior might not appeal to everyone's taste. While the coffee and food menu are both impressive, limited parking and inconspicuous signage could pose challenges for first-time visitors.
When I passed this coffee shop, I thought very small coffee shop! But it is not! Many tables are there even outdoor seats are available(smoking areas as well) The coffee was Soo yummy! And some snacks are available. And Amazon pickup cabinets 😍 Only one thing! Parking lots. If you couldn't park in front of the store, you have to park on the streets or in front of someone's house.
Soren is a super dope person, (friendly, personal, hardworking, and makes fantabulous drinks). This is a peaceful and quaint place, chill outside nestled in a cool covered patio corner or inside surrounded by eclectic decor. Scrumptious morsels and a variety of beverages. Soren has a special herbal tea she makes. 😋 The New Orleans was a top notch drink. *Street parking in the front and limited parking at the alley entrance.
Stop in while I was waiting for my order at Biscuits and Groovy. I was quickly greeted with a good morning and if I needed time to decide what I wanted since I had never been there before. I didn't get to stay long but I ended up ordering their specialty cold brew with a pump of vanilla and left room for a little cream. I honestly have to say that it was the best ice coffee I had in a while and I am a Starbucks fanatic. The flavors of the coffee was nice, smooth and strong just how I like it. The atmosphere on the inside was very relaxing and peaceful, would definitely say it is a great place to get some work done or just have a nice catch up with a friend. If I am ever back on the area I would for sure stop by again to try some of their homemade items.
Flightpath is really the only coffee thst is even drinkable in Hyde Park, and it vastly outshines the rest if the area as an honest-to-god cafe, with lots of space, snack and light food options, all for prices that make sense. Unfortunately, one must take stars for an unconscionable ADA experience — the place is de facto inaccessible. I’ve also found the bathrooms are poorly thought out, with no way to see if occupied, in a cramped hallway. Also the extra chair in there… yk.
Bad milk foaming in my cappuccino, served in a dumb tall glass totally unsuited to the drink. Also pricey. This is a place to get work done. Cafeteria style tables and chairs. There’s a focused & productive energy, but nothing comfy or intimate. I’d recommend especially if you’re local and not driving, but it’s just not my favorite
This is a very chilly place. It’s definitely part of the keep Austin weird movement. They have all kinds of art on the walls and ceiling. The music they play is dope AF. The patio area is nice and relaxing. And the happen to serve coffee too! The staff is friendly and helpful if you can’t decide what to get. I came on a chilly day so I got a hot chocolate and I added some hazel nut flavor to it.
A few guides led me to Flightpath Coffeehouse in Hyde Park and there's a lot to love. It's a no-frills, spacious cafe with outdoor patio seating and two large dining rooms full of tables (and even a printer!). It's not fancy, but it is inviting. I ordered a latte with macadamia syrup in it. It came out half empty and with very little flavor. It wasn't well brewed. If it hadn't costed as much as a fancy latte, I wouldn't mind, but the price didn't match the quantity or quality. However, this is a great spot to hang out or get some work/studying done.
Nice cozy joint , but seems like the barista had a very long day , as soon as I asked her to give a fresh slice of carrot Cake instead of older slice already covered i a plastic wrap, her face went red. As I asked her to bake me a new cake from scratch, very rude
